I have to say that I love to see Cass take the spotlight on screen, especially to do something different from what we are used to: having a strategic fight against a huge powerhouse like Wonder Woman using her wits and gadgets, but it's true that I would also like to see her in a one-on-one against Diana to appreciate the fighting skills that both of them have.

The whole point of that fight was to distract Diana so that she could rescue the Birds of Prey later, because she would not be imprisoned, so she could get the keys to get them out and they would be inside where they wanted to be to save Sin.

The Parallel Beauty and Grace of Raven and Arella

“She stands strong and regal, and even before her face can be seen, you know it is lovely beyond all measure…”

Undoubtedly, these praisings are devoted to Arella’s beauty and grace, with her stance portrayed and face revealed during the narrative. However, right after that, a full-body close-up portrait of Raven putting down her hood, revealing her face, is meticulously drawn.

This is also the first time we know what Raven looks like, despite her many previous appearances when she was gathering the Teen Titans. The question is, why now? Moreover, compared to Arella’s dimly lit face, no shades of shadow are casted on Raven’s soft features, as if to make an emphasis.

And I couldn’t help thinking that maybe the adoration of a “strong and regal” stance and a “lovely beyond all measure” face is also acclaimed for Raven by the authors in subtlety through Arella. After all, why not reveal her face before that? And why not choose a half-body portrait?

The only sound rationale for me is that it was a poetic, artistic choice to paint the parallel beauty and grace of Arella and Raven - the mother and the daughter.

Hi I’m back and here to talk about Issue 4 of World’s Finest:

Hal is being mind controlled and my god is it funny.

The light from the ring!!! Clark being pissed!! Just amazing!

And the Bruce gets grabbed and Nezha talks shit. Also Hal coming up with a mech is so good!!! The backgrounds are so beautiful!!!

And then Bruce pisses him off and he just throws Bruce?! He’s just tossed it’s so funny.

Supergirl and Robin find out how to defeat Nezha and I like how the artstyle feels a bit different in these scenes. Like softer almost.

Robin gets lost in time.

And the finally my favorite scene! Batman and Superman will Hal’s ring off his finger and FUSE?!

They do a full dragon ball fusion help!? It’s just so crazy I love this comic series. If you’re ever interested read them. My rants do not do them justice.
