In the year 30XX, there was some massive world war. Technology kinda stops evolving because there are no more breakthroughs and no more geniuses to invent new technologies that can help the wars. They tried to resurrect old scientist geniuses from the past by making clones, hoping they could help them in the war. Especially after they find out that they have superpowers tied to their scientific discoveries! -- well, you know what they said : children raised as soldiers never end well.

I FINALLY FINISHED MY BACHELORS WORK YAAAAY. Its basically a comic book and all of the artwork in it is done with linocut or drypoint. The whole book is 62 pages so i only included my favourite spreads. Excuse my horrible handwriting lol.

And you know i had to include Maxmilien and Saint-Just in the story somehow.

Voltaire is a main character in every story and through him reader learns how the 18 century changed regarding science, religion, philosophy and politics. The 3 chapters are beginning, middle, late 18. century. The story is always: "if he was 30+ yo in differnt time what he would be doing"?

The book also includes or mentions historical characters:

Ch. 1- Jean Antoine Nollet, Émilie du Châtelet, René-Antoine Réaumur, Edmund Halley, Isaac Newton, Louis XIV.

Ch. 2- Jean le Rond dAlembert, Denis Diderot, Louis XV.

Ch.3- Maxmilien Robespierre, Louis Antoine Saint-Just, Anton Lavoisier

I wanted to thank you for your artwork this year and for immediately getting back on that art grind after your term at uni. You’re artwork has inspired me so much this year. Your cute, detailed, and clean artstyle captivated me. I seriously stalked your Twitter everyday because I was honestly addicted (😭). You kept me going, and when I felt down I would hop on my computer and look at what you created. Your collaborative canvases were also a blast, and I loved sketching with everyone! This sounds horribly stalkerish when I type it out, and I formally apologize. Nonetheless, I hope you ignore the creepiness and can takeaway the love from this message. I seriously couldn’t thank you enough for your creativity.
