I truly think the idea that your features are made from generations of attraction and appreciation of those features that you hate so much on yourself is so beautiful and so wonderful I love looking at myself and seeing parts of my mum and my dad and my grandma and I know share parts of myself with my ancestors who I know nothing about

Burn your illusions. Everything is about looks. There is no romance. Sex seems to be the key for everything. Burn all your poetry books. Watch a model becoming victim of an acid attack to her/his face and see how many of those who love them will gradually vanish from their lives.
And burn your utopian political heaven ideals. Some of you who preach about the "good for all" are the same who slack at work and leave more for your fellow comrades. Some of you who preach about common good are some of most untrustworthy and worst people i've ever met.
There are no nazis or communists in the modern days. Just fascists and fascists painted in red trying to impose their ways unto others. The same fascist who tries to justify their ways and calls you a fancy evil name is the same that is responsible for supporting politics that created a few common graves on ukranian soil with body parts of women and children. Apparently some forms of fascism are worst than the others depending on how you paint them, even though they produce the exact same outcome to innocent lives.
Looking at internet comments it seems being anti logic and anti freedom is the new trend. Some of you are so pathetic and don't even have the physical and mental discipline to survive in the same political utopias you support.
So fuck all of you and your groupies. Atheists they say lol you are all just fruits of christianity, denying all factual reality to justify your weakness. Man the fuck up. At least have some integrity to your flesh vessel and accept the creature that you really are. A jealous organism screaming "me!" and "more!".
If we had to create a metaphor, then look at a +36 year old with vans and a fred durst looking hat at hardcore shows still with a teenage mentality beating younger kids on moshpits and coming with ways to justify it. We get it. The beast inside needs release. It is simply as that.
Let's just admit how rotten we really are and stop pretending we care. We are all the same.

Call me insane but what if we all have obligations to each other in society and we do owe others things.

I want to do a social experiment where you raise a bunch of babies without teaching them how to speak so we can see in real time how humans developed language and communicated.
Would we make noises?
Would we form words eventually?
Would we use physical forms?

I fully understand why "character A is astounded at the sight of character B's penis" is a specific kink that gets tagged for, but the fact that some platforms choose to tag this kink as "penis awe" is unintentionally very funny. Now I'm picturing penis experience kink tags for all those other allegedly transcendent emotions in the glossary of your Philosophy 101 textbook. Penis faith. Penis Weltschmerz. Penis apprehension of the absurd.

I'm pretty sure that I reblogged this already with a really long-ass spiel about how a sword is a tool & it's what you do with it that determines whether it's a curse or a blessing.
Yes, it should absolutely be accepted with solemnity, but that doesn't make the sword innately evil.
As such, I can't help but wonder what happened in the Old Man's life to have given him such a pessimistic view on swords. Is it possible that he himself didn't treat his first sword with as much solemnity as he is here? Perhaps he had chosen to become a less than reputable individual? A Bandit, maybe? Perhaps he used it to threaten people into giving him their things? Perhaps, one day, it went too far? Perhaps he regrets his decisions & is unable to reconcile the fact that it was his own decisions to do those things & that, had he been truly determined to do them, then they would've happened regardless of what he'd been holding in his hand at the time?
After all, even a rock can be a weapon. Or a shield. If you're creative, anything can take a life. In fact, a hammer can bash a person's brains out as readily as it can build houses.
Perhaps. Perhaps.
I also wonder if his perspective extends to all weapons. Because, theoretically, shouldn't bows & especially crossbows be considered even more of a curse in such a case?
What he also seems to be forgetting is that, while a sword may not guarantee safety, it does lend protection. If not for one's own self, then for others. And, even if a sword is a curse, is it not admirable for one to willingly take on such a curse for the sake of others. Especially if it helps to prevent others from having to take on that same curse?
Regardless, at the end of the day, it is human nature that determines whether something becomes a curse or blessing.

If your argument boils down to "It won't matter when you die"/"It won't matter because we all die"/"It won't matter to whoever unearths your bones", consider this:
It's not the "gotcha" you think it is.
What you're saying is I, and everyone else, should live miserable, plodding lives, never try to achieve anything, never strive to be happy, never embrace our true selves... because we'll die anyway. That contributes nothing to any conversation, it's a detestable argument really, would you like someone to say this to you when you're discussing something dear to you?
"I wanna work on a script and strive become a famous screenwriter"
"Won't matter when you're in the ground"
Replace the screenwriting with something you're passionate about and doesn't that just grind your gears? In no situation is it an intelligent response and in no situation will it be considered and appreciated, it's a way to essentially say nothing while at the same time irritating all who are present while showing you're not trying to understand or contribute to what the other party is saying.
So please, don't think about a grave and a pile of bones, instead, try to understand where the other person is coming from and why what they're talking about is important to them. Heck, why stop there, seek out what's important to YOU, let yourself be passionate, strive for happiness and nurture your dreams.
XOXO
