Putting aside fan views of the Hunting Grounds, which do you think a young Talanah would've most enjoyed and, which do you think she struggled with the most?
Here’s the thing--when you consider the canonical history of the Sundom, young Talanah likely didn’t do any of them. Before Avad’s edicts changed the Lodge Bylaws, women weren’t allowed to partake in the hunt/Hunting Grounds.
No matter how awesome Talavad was, I bear it in mind that he likely upheld the bylaws publicly, as was kind of his job...no matter how he felt about them. That doesn’t mean that he didn’t take Talanah on hunts sometimes and quietly--we see her training during the Liberation comic and with her own bow in the Sunhawk comic (this aspect of both of which I take with a hefty grain of salt anyway)--but I actually doubt she received a lot of training from him. It’s implied that Tarkas was the one who more formally taught her, and she likely didn’t earn any Suns until the edicts went into effect.
Knowing her, I’m willing to bet the stealth trials in the Spurflints were NOT her thing, lmao. She probably likes the Greatrun trials best.

Work
English 7:30PM 2016.09.24
Work
Genesis 2:15
Work is supposed to lead us to fulfill God's purpose in our lives. "It's not so much about working for God but about working with God" "Avodah" in Hebrew means work. It is also the same word for worship. Work is worship. Your work is an act of worship.
'Avad' or 'avodah'
Exodus 34:21
The word used is 'avad'
Psalm 104:23 'avad'
Exodus 8:1 'avad'
Joshua 24:15 'avodah'
The word for doing work is the same as the word that is used for worshiping God. How you act while you work, the quality of your work is an act of worshiping God.
Colossians 3:23
Woship is work and work is worship. There should be no difference there between the two. Your work is your act of worship to God. Your entire life, should be an act of worship to God.
We spend more time worshiping through work than at church.
Genesis 3:17-19
The devil corrupted what work is to us. Work came first, before there was any sin. Work is something that God has given us.
If work is worship, how do we worship God while we work?
Deuteronomy 10:8
1) We must bring change to the environment that we are in. We need to usher in the presence of God. We need to bring the power and the glory of God into the area that you work in. We need to dare to believe that revival will happen out there, in the areas that we work. We need the revival outside of church. To the areas where people have not heard of the Living God. Miracles are dependent on God's presence and not the location.
Matthew 5:13-16
Pray specifically for your workplace and not yourself. We need the presence of God in our marketplaces.
2) We must honour God. Is God honoured by the quality of our work? The way we work and what we do?
Colossians 3:23
Honour God in your work amd God will honour your work. God doesn't look at things at a compartmentalized manner but as a whole. We are the same person throughout, wherever we are. "Being at work doesnt mean that you're less of a Christian than when you are at church." Some of us have compromised our values by taking shortcuts in our workplace. God looks at these because your work is an offering to Him, and the quality that you give to your work is the offering that you will be giving to God.
Matthew 5:13,15
'But if the salt loses it's saltiness' 'you don't light up a lamp and put it inder a bowl' It is about honouring God. It is to stand before God and to minister to Him as levites.
3) We must bless others. For us to worship, we are called to bless others, to 'bless in His name to this day' The levites never lived for themselves.
Deuteronomy 10:9
When we have an outward attitude, we think about blessing others. Then that changes our perspective of work. Your work is not about what you can get out of it but what you can give to that. Your work is not about you. Thinking that work is about you is the same as thinking that worship is all about you. Work is about God first and formost. "When you take care of your job, God will take care of your paycheck." The levites had no physical inheritance but instead their inheritance is the Lord.
"A lot of people stop looking for work the moment they have a job." – Zig Ziglar
Work is something given by God.
The 5 points of wealth:
Peace with God
Healthy relationships
Revelation
Time
Material contentment
These will lead you to getting riches but riches can never buy you any of these five. The word of God is true wherever you go.
Matthew 6:33

Also still not a fan of avad tbh, like don’t get me wrong. He’s hot. And I definitely like some fanfics and art w him and Aloy, but damn dude you’re supposed to be like... in your like early 30s ? I believe? (I may be pulling that fact from annold af Reddit post I’m remembering but it seemed like a solid answer to his age given the lore timeline etc) and you meet a 19/20yo right after the bitch you were in love w and fuckin was captured, thought to be dead, then found and actually died. And your priority is trying to start pumping out the ‘respectfully tap that?’ Vibes??? SIR!!!!!! Go mourn!!!! Jerk off!! Poor coping skills Avad, try therapy.
I’m so glad we got a chance to be mean to him and shoot him down again in fw I want another chance to do it again next game and really drive home the pain of rejection lol
Don’t get me wrong I am extremely sympathetic and feel for him on the whole thing, but like damn bro that ain’t the way!! And you should’ve dropped it and moved on enough to not bring it up again since the last time you saw her PLS take the L bro
