Question to my black gamers/writers, what hairstyle do you envision your self-insert or your MC wearing when going on these long-ass journeys and quests with their hair? What protective styles are y’all using? What type? Locs? Braids? Crochet? Cornrows? Mini-twists?? How do you story-wise work in the maintenance? Are they wearing a scarf/headwrap? How’s they get said headscarf? Do they wear their world’s equivalent to a bonnet? How are doing their wash-days; where do they do it? What products are they using and where do I get them?

let's talk about andi mack's worldbuilding
sorry this took forever to make! i've been pretty busy with school stuff and i kind of lost my inspiration for a bit, but i ultimately really enjoyed writing it! i wish i could've included more pics (tumblr has a max of 10 per post), and it kinda turned from less of a mini analysis to more of an extremely long rant... but i hope it's still a fun read!
i've been rewatching the show over the past few weeks (thanks again to @disneymack for the link!), and i’ve been noticing a lot that i never did the first time around. this is really the first time i’ve watched the show from start to finish since it aired, and it honestly feels so different this time - probably a combination of the fact that i’m not as focused on plot and can appreciate the show as a whole, and also that the fandom is much, much smaller now, so there’s a lot less noise. so the way i’m consuming this show feels super different than it did the first time, but the show itself doesn’t - it’s just as warm and comforting to me as it was the first time around, if not more so.
i think a lot of that can be attributed to andi mack’s “worldbuilding”. i’m not quite sure that this is the right word in this context, to be honest, because i mostly see it used in reference to fantasy and sci-fi universes, but it just sort of feels right to me for andi mack, because you can really tell how much love and care went into constructing this universe. for clarity, worldbuilding is “the process of creating an imaginary world” in its simplest sense. there’s two main types: hard worldbuilding, which involves inventing entire universes, languages, people, cultures, places, foods, etc. from scratch (think “lord of the rings” or “dune”), and soft worldbuilding, in which the creators don’t explicitly state or explain much about the fictional universe, but rather let it’s nature reveal itself as the story progresses (think studio ghibli films). andi mack to me falls in the soft worldbuilding category. even though it takes place in a realistic fiction universe, there’s a lot of aspects to it that are inexplicably novel in really subtle ways.
so watching the show now, i’ve noticed that the worldbuilding comes primarily from two things - setting and props, and oftentimes the both of them in tandem (because a big part of setting in filmmaking does depend on the props placed in it!).
one of the most obvious examples is the spoon. it really is a sort of quintessential, tropic setting in that it's the main gang's "spot", which automatically gives it a warm and homey feel to it. and its set design only amplifies this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the choice to make it a very traditional 50s-style diner creates a very nostalgic, retro feel to it, which is something that's really consistent throughout the show, as you'll see. from the round stools at the bar, to the booths, to the staff uniforms, this is very obvious. the thing that i found especially interesting about it though is the choice of color. the typical 50s diner is outfitted with metallic surfaces and red accented furnishings, but the spoon is very distinctly not this.
instead, it's dressed in vibrant teal and orange, giving it a very fresh and modern take on a classic look. so it still maintains that feeling of being funky and retro, but that doesn't retract from the fact that the show is set distinctly in modern times.
of course, this could just be a one-off quirky set piece, but this idea of modernizing and novelizing "retro" things is a really common motif throughout the show. take red rooster records. i mean, it's a record shop - need i say more? it's obviously a very prominent store in shadyside, at least for the main characters, but there's no apparent reason why it is (until season 2 when bowie starts working there, and jonah starts performing there). a lot of the time, though, it functions solely as a record shop. vinyl obviously isn't the most practical or convenient way of listening to music, but it's had its resurgence in pop culture even in the real world, mostly due to its aesthetic value, so it's safe to say that it serves the same purpose in the andi mack universe.
Tumblr media
the fringe seems to be nostalgic of a different era, specifically the Y2K/early 2000s period (because it's meant to be bex's territory and symbolic of who she used to be, and its later transformation into cloud 10 is representative of her character arc, but that's beside the point). to be honest, exactly what this store was supposed to be always confused me. it was kind of a combination party store/clothing store/makeup store/beauty parlor? i think that's sort of the point of it though, it's supposed to feel very grunge-y and chaotic (within the confines of a relatively mellow-toned show, of course), and it's supposed to act as a sort of treasure chest of little curios that both make the place interesting and allow the characters to interact with it.
Tumblr media
and, of course, there's andi shack. this is really the cherry on top of all of andi mack's sets, just because it's so distinctly andi. it serves such amazing narrative purpose for her (ex. the storyline where cece and ham were going to move - i really loved this because it highlights its place in the andi mack universe so well, and i'm a sucker for the paper cranes shot + i'm still salty that sadie's cranes didn't make it into the finale) and it's the perfect reflection of andi's character development because of how dynamic it is (the crafts and art supplies can get moved around or switched out, and there's always new creations visible).
Tumblr media
going back to the nostalgia motif though, the "shack" aspect of it always struck me as very treehouse-like. personally, whenever i think of treehouses, there's this very golden sheen of childhood about it, if that makes sense. i've always seen treehouses in media as a sort of shelter for characters' youthful innocence and idealistic memories. for example, the episode "up a tree" from good luck charlie, the episode "treehouse" from modern family, and "to all the boys 2" all use a treehouse setting as a device to explore the character's desire to hold onto their perfect image of their childhood (side note: this exact theme is actually explored in andi mack in the episode "perfect day 2.0"!). andi shack is no exception to this, but it harnesses this childhood idealism in the same way that it captures the nostalgia of the 50s in the spoon, or the early 2000s in the fringe. it's not some image of a distant past being reflected through that setting; it's very present, and very alive, because it reflects andi as she is in the given moment.
some honorable mentions of more one-off settings include the ferris wheel (from "the snorpion"), the alley art gallery (from "a walker to remember"), SAVA, the color factory (from "it's a dilemna"), and my personal favorite, the cake shop (from "that syncing feeling").
Tumblr media
[every time i watch this episode i want to eat those cakes so bad]
these settings have less of a distinctly nostalgic feel (especially the color factory, which is a very late 2010s, instagram era setting), but they all definitely have an aura of perfection about them. andi mack is all about bright, colorful visuals, and these settings really play to that, making the andi mack universe seem really fun and inviting, and frankly very instagrammable (literally so, when it comes to the color factory!).
props, on the other hand, are probably a much less obvious tool of worldbuilding. they definitely take up less space in the frame and are generally not as noticeable (i'm sure i'll have missed a bunch that will be great examples, but i'm kind of coming up with all of this off the top of my head), but they really tie everything together.
for example, bex's box, bex's polaroid, and the old tv at the mack apartment (the tv is usually only visible in the periphery of some shots, so you might not catch it at first glance) all complement that very retro aesthetic established through the settings (especially the polaroid and the tv, because there's really no good reason that the characters would otherwise be using these).
Tumblr media
besides this, andi's artistic nature provides the perfect excuse for plenty of colorful, crafty props to amplify the visuals and the tone. obviously, as i discussed before, andi shack is the best example of this because it's filled with interesting props. but you also see bits of andi's (and other people's) crafts popping up throughout the show (ex. the tape on the fridge in the mack apartment, andi's and libby's headbands in "the new girls", walker's shoes, andi's phone case, and of course, the bracelet). not only does doing this really solidify this talent as an essential tenet of andi's character, but it also just makes the entirety of shadyside feel like an extension of andi shack. the whole town is a canvas for her crafts (or art, depending on how you want to look at it. i say it's both), and it immensely adds to shadyside's idealism. because who wouldn't want to live in a world made of andi mack's creations?
Tumblr media
and, while it's not exactly a prop, the characters' wardrobe is undoubtedly a major influence on the show's worldbuilding. true to it's nature as a disney channel show, all of the characters are always dressed in exceptionally curated outfits of whatever the current trends are, making the show that much more visually appealing. i won't elaborate too much on this, because i could honestly write a whole other analysis on andi mack's fashion (my favorites are andi's and bex's outfits! and kudos to the costume designer(s) for creating such wonderful and in-character wardrobes!). but, i think it's a really really important aspect of how the show's universe is perceived, so it had to be touched upon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[^ some of my favorite outfits from the show! i am so obsessed with andi's jacket in the finale, and i aspire to be at bex's level of being a leather jacket bisexual]
and lastly, phones. this is a bit of an interesting case (pun intended), because the way they're used fluctuates a bit throughout the show, but i definitely noticed that at least in the first season terri minsky tried to avoid using them altogether. these efforts at distancing from modern tech really grounds the show in it's idealist, nostalgia-heavy roots, so even when the characters start using their phones more later in the show, they don't alter the viewer's impression of the andi mack universe very much.
so, what does all of this have to do with worldbuilding? in andi mack's case, because it's set in a realistic universe and not a fantasy one, a lot of what sets it apart from the real world comes down to tone. because, as much as this world is based on our own, it really does feel separate from it, like an alternate reality that's just slightly more perfect than ours, which makes all the difference. it's the idealism in color and composition in andi mack's settings that makes it so unmistakably andi mack. even the weather is always sunny and perfect (which is incredibly ironic because the town is called shadyside - yes, i am very proud of that observation).
the andi mack universe resides somewhere in this perfect medium that makes it feel like a small town in the middle of nowhere (almost like hill valley in 1955 from "back to the future"), but at the same time like an enclave within a big city (because of its proximity to so many modern, unique, and honestly very classy looking establishments). it is, essentially, an unattainable dream land that tricks you into believing it is attainable because it's just real enough.
all this to say, andi mack does an amazing job of creating of polished, perfect world for its characters. this is pretty common among disney channel and nickelodeon shows, but because most other shows tend to be filmed in a studio with three-wall sets, andi mack is really set apart from them in that it automatically feels more real and tangible. it has its quintessential recurring locations, but it has far more of them (most disney/nick shows usually only have 3-4 recurring settings), and it has a lot more one-off locations. it's also a lot more considerate when it comes to its props, so rather than the show just looking garish and aggressively trendy, it has a distinctive style that's actually appropriate to the characters and the story. overall this creates the effect of expanding the universe, making shadyside feel like it really is a part of a wider world, rather than an artificial bubble. it's idealism is, first and foremost, grounded in reality, and that provides a basis for its brilliant, creative, and relatable storytelling.
tl;dr: andi mack's sets and props give it a very retro and nostalgic tone which makes its whole universe seem super perfect and i want to live there so bad!!

Setting the Stage
Before you can play, you’ll need to figure out what sort of game you want to play in the first place! Get out something to write on and brainstorm things you want from this solo game. Having a good grasp of your goals from the get-go keeps things on track and prevents getting several hours in only to find you aren't having fun. Having the brainstorming sheet on hand to reference is great if you ever get stuck and don’t know what you want to do next.
What sort of world do you want to play in?
Genre and tone?
Fantasy
Magical girls
Horror
Cyberpunk
Scope of the story/world?
Town
Country
Planet
Galaxy
Universe
What stuff exists there?
Zombies
Talking animals
Androids
Magical weapons
Spaceships
Dragons
What media inspires this game?
 Books
Movies
A dream you had
Tv shows
Video games
Board games
A beautiful painting you saw
Music
What sort of things do you want to do in this world?
Explore and map
Discover new potions
Bounty hunting
Help people
Collect cool treasure
Prank people
Save the world
Steal stuff
Tumblr media
With all this in mind, next we need to select and prepare the stage for this game. I generally recommend a physical thing of some sort. Some fantastic options include:
That beautiful journal you’ve been holding on to, finally getting its chance to shine
A 3 ring binder for easy organizing
A coloring book
A journal cobbled together from junk
Random novel from the clearance section, thousands of prompts hidden in its pages
Box full of loose pages and trinkets
The canvas I’ve chosen for my game is the humble composition notebook; they’re easy to find, easy to store, and typically inexpensive. The final step of setting the stage is to add a handful of visual prompts to your canvas. Picking colors and techniques to suit your setting adds to the immersion to your game. For instance, for a sci-fi game about flying around in space ships I might use ball point pen, highlighter, charcoal/ graphite, geometric shapes, and black marker; whereas for a magical girl game I would probably use markers, glitter pens, stickers, and coloring pages.
In the interest of keeping this as accessible to everyone as possible I have chosen to limit my art supplies and keep a rough tally on how much I would have spent on supplies.
Total tally of supplies I used
Watercolor palette: 3.50$
Composition notebook: 99c
Handful of broken crayons: a new 8 pack is like a 1.50$
Pen, pencil and marker I found on the ground: free, about 4 bucks new
Regular printer paper: about 5$ for 500 sheets but I just yoink them from offices when I get the chance
8 Colored pencils I already had: about 4$ new
Shirt I don't wear anymore: free
A lone sock: free
Ball of cotton yarn: 3.50$
Index cards: 2.50$
Gluestick: 99c
Thread: 1.15$
Magazines, catalogs, and old books: free, check free libraries and ask your friends, save cool bits from junk mail
Visual prompts also provide inspiration mid game: a page of splatters might become a constellation, a cluster of fairies, the dust settling in the foreground after a battle, or just a beautiful background to write on. They also alleviate blank page anxiety by preemptively messing the pages up. I chose to add something about every 4th page, and I’m saving a bunch of extra collage materials in the back of my book for later.
Here are some ideas of stuff to add to get you started!
Scribbles
Blobs
Swirls
Paint splatters
Frames
Coloring pages
Envelopes
Pressed flowers
Magazine clippings
Book pages

book it [knj]
Tumblr media
⮕ summary: back to school shopping. two people. one book. what could go wrong? a lot of things, actually. but then again, some things could also go right.
⮕ pairing: kim namjoon x reader
⮕ genre: fluff, crack, angst, bookstore!au, college!au, a condensed version of enemies to lovers
⮕ word count: 3.9k
⮕ rating: pg-13
⮕ warnings: mild cursing, the slightest references to what happens at a frat party
⮕ a/n: okay first things first, aAAAHHHH dynamite came out! and it’s an absolute bop (and record breaker)! so i decided to post my very first piece of writing in celebration. and also, because it’s that time of year again, you know, back to school season (yay? idk), i decided to use that as the theme to this drabble. hope you guys enjoy! :-D
p.s. if you wanna talk to bookstore!namjoon or bookstore!y/n, feel free to do so here!
Tumblr media
okay so
maybe it wasn’t exactly the best idea you’ve had to go back to school shopping literally ONE week before school starts
you can’t help it! you’ve just naturally been a procrastinator. there’s nothing you can do about it
well, there actually are lots of things you can do about it, but you’ll get to it later (haha, get it?)
anYWAYS
you’ve finished all of your supply shopping and almost all of your book shopping
keyword being almost
you would’ve got everything except barnes and noble didn’t have one of your textbooks
hoW?!?! isn’t barnes and noble a giant bookstore retail chain? how can they have literally every book you can think of exCEPT the very one you need?!?!
and you’ve gone to other bookstores too but they don’t have your book either
today is just not your day
so you’ve decided to take a look at one more place before you have to turn to the online edition of your textbook
which really isn’t ideal because after two minutes you’ll probably “accidentally” end up scrolling endlessly through your instagram feed
so in short, if you want to pass this course, you really, really need this textbook. like, a lot
you pull up to a cute little bookstore, nestled in between a starbucks and a barber shop
Pied Piper Books, it reads. cute.
you push the door open and are immediately welcomed with the smell of warm vanilla. bells on top of the door jingle to alert the (cute) guy at the front desk to your presence
“hi! welcome to pied piper books. i’m jimin, how can i help you today?” he asks with a grin, eyes shifting into happy crescents
“hey, i’m y/n. i was looking for a psychology textbook. um, this one?” you say, holding out your phone to show him the title of the book on your phone
he squints at the screen before nodding eagerly
“oh yeah! there’s a whole rack of psychology textbooks in the back,” jimin exclaims, “you should be able to find it there”
you thank him profusely before strolling to the back of the bookstore, taking in everything around you. there are books of all kinds: nonfiction, historical fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, and more! it’s incredible how this cozy little bookstore has enough variety of books to rival the last barnes and noble you went to
“ah! here it is!” you exclaim when you finally see your textbook in the middle of the shelf
what luck! it’s the last one there, too. you reach your hand out to grab it when, suddenly, another hand bumps into yours
“oh, shoot, sorry!” you hear a smooth, low voice say
you turn to look at who the owner of the voice is and you have to physically concentrate on keeping your jaw from hitting the floor
in front of you is one of the most attractive men you have ever seen in your life
actually, scratch that
in front of you is possibly the most attractive man you have ever seen in your life
he's got honey colored skin and black hair. his burnt umber colored eyes twinkle with the lights of the bookstore. his lips, very plump (and kissable), are forming into a smile
he's smiling at you!
wait- why does that smile look kind of weird?
now that you're getting back to your senses, you realize he's giving you one of those tight-lipped smiles, not a genuine one. and his hand is slowly tightening on the book you have your hands on as well
"um," you're not sure how to phrase this because:
1) there's a vERY handsome guy nearly holding your hand
2) said guy isn't looking very fondly upon you right now
3) he's trying to take the boOK YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ALL DAY
so as much as you would like this hunk to see you in a positive light, you would like to pass your psych course a lot more
"i, uh, i really need this book. like, a lot. for a course? that i need to pass. yeah. so this book is gonna help me pass. and i need it. a lot. yup," you blabber
what? it's not your fault this (very attractive) guy is making you all flustered
he nods slowly and smirks, making heat rush to your cheeks
"that sounds really fun," he drawls. "but i need this book too. i mean, isn't it fascinating how the human mind works? i'd love to read this book, especially once i get out of class."
is he being serious right now? he's got to be kidding… right? no sane human being just reads a textbook for fun
"oh, yeah. very funny. but out of all the other textbooks here, why choose this one?" you say, rolling your eyes, attempting to yank the book to your chest
unfortunately, you're not as strong as you hoped because Textbook Boy didn't seem to budge at all
that's when you see his arms
long story short, they're very attractive. and his hands, too. are those rings you see? um, is it getting hot in here?
gulping, you add on, "plus, what kind of lame person chooses to read a textbook instead of, i don't know, an actual book?" keeping your eyes trained on his hands holding the book, inches aways from yours
he chuckles. "wow," he remarks as you finally look into his eyes, "do you not know what sarcasm is? of course i'd rather read something carl jung has written over whatever pearson has published here. i need this for my psychology class too, sherlock," he shakes the book that the two of you are holding
did he just insult you? of cOURSE you know what sarcasm is. you're the queen of sarcasm. novices tremble in your wake. who does this guy think he is?
"well, i'm not going to just give up this textbook. i spent all day looking for it! can't you just go somewhere else?" you groan out, running your free hand through your hair in frustration. you miss the way that his face softens for a second before returning back to its original determined appearance
"sorry, but as much as you need this textbook, i do too. i have class next week and-" he begins before you cut him off
"wait, do you go to seoul national university?" you ask, to which he nods uneasily. if he ends up wrenching the textbook out of your hands sometime later today (because it doesn't look like you're going to let go of it anytime soon with the death grip you've got on it right now), you're not going to follow him back to his dorm and kill him just to get a textbook, are you?
he didn't think you were mental upon first glance, but now he's starting to change his mind. maybe going on another long search in other stores for the textbook (that he'll probably have to end up purchasing online anyway) is worth it if he comes out alive at the end of the school year
"oh, cool! i go there too. so do you have professor lee for psych, then? i have him. i'm so glad he didn't give us summer work. like other professors i have assigned so much stuff for us to do. i'm happy that-" you start rambling again, making the guy smile and shake his head
"yeah, i have professor lee. and i also need this book," he lamely tugs at it again. you pout and are about to say something when someone interrupts him
"well, well, well. what do we have here?" jimin saunters over, taking note of Textbook Boy and you. specifically your guys' hands and how close together they are
“i came over because i thought i heard some yelling. but you two look, um, busy right now. glad to see you resolved any issues,” he teases after seeing the two of your flushed faces
“no, jimin, we actually do have a problem-” Textbook Boy begins before getting cut off by jimin
"you know namjoon, when you asked me for a book, i didn't know you were also meeting your lady friend here,” jimin interjects, wiggling his eyebrows at you teasingly, making you even more embarrassed than before
so his name is namjoon
wait, as in kim namjoon?!
like THE kim namjoon?!?!?!
you’ve heard a lot about him before but never seen him in person yet. (what? is it really that bad of a thing that you prefer binge-watching netflix over social interaction?)
he’s one of the most popular guys on SNU’s campus. the guy that everyone swoons over, boys and girls alike. beauty, brains, and brawns, kim namjoon’s got it all. the perfect friend group, the perfect wardrobe, the perfect life. he’s got everything
well, almost everything. just not this textbook, and you’ll be darned if you go down without a fight
“okay, wait. there’s been a misunderstanding. i’m not his lady friend. i need this textbook for my psych class. like right now,” you explain
so let’s think
if you just yank the book out of namjoon’s hands, run through the aisle and dodge jimin (who might side with namjoon because you’ve heard they’re in the same frat), the book could be yours. if you’re lucky, you can run up to the front desk and see if anyone else is there so you can pay and leave before namjoon and jimin catch up to you
taking in a deep breath, you decide to bring your plan into fruition
namjoon's talking right now: "jimin, you know how much i need this book, man. come on, man. i mean, we're bros. who helped you pass midterms last year? me, right?"
great, now's your chance!
you yank the book to your chest and start to run, when all of a sudden-
"hey, wha- oOF!" namjoon exclaims as you try to run away from him, suddenly tightening his grip on the book, but it's too late. the tug you gave on it sends him flying into you
“what the- OW!” the two of you begin to drop to the ground. bracing yourself for the fall, you close your eyes in anticipation and land with a thud, book clutched to your chest, and back on the ground. not the most comfortable fall, but definitely better than face planting
when you open your eyes, you nearly shriek
positioned right above you, staring into your eyes with a dazed look, is namjoon
you’re under him. like, not even in a frat party or anything! in the middle of a bookstore out of all places!
eyes widening, you push him off of you, quickly scrambling away and look at jimin sheepishly, who watched the whole ordeal go down. if you were embarrassed at being caught holding the same book, you’re downright mortified right now and ready to crawl into the nearest hole
“okAY! so uh, i’ll leave you two to whatever it is you guys are doing. uh, but just hold in all your desires till you guys get home. this is a public space, after all.” jimin teases, eyebrows raised and inching slowly to the front desk where he wouldn’t have to see whatever the two of you would do next
it’s strange, jimin thinks to himself. namjoon’s never mentioned a girl to their frat before, but here he is, cozying up to y/n. weird. he shakes his head with a soft smile and continues on his way
oh no
so now you’re back to square one
alone with namjoon
and the textbook
did you forget to mention that you’re alone with namjoon?
it was much easier when you didn’t know who he was and could talk smack in front of him, but now? now you’re a lot more nervous
because you fought with THE kim namjoon over a textbook. SNU’s kim namjoon. and then you essentially pulled him on top of you in front of his friend. and on top of that, you still haven’t got your book yet
who knows? if jimin and namjoon are friends that could mean namjoon gets a preference, and thus, the textbook. they could make fun of you afterwards and you’d be forever known as the lunatic who tried to seduce namjoon to get a textbook. ouch. not a pretty picture.
for the first time, things are starting to look bleak
“uh, so we can totally pretend that didn’t happen. no worries,” namjoon chuckles, scratching the back of his neck in a combination of nervousness, embarrassment, and shyness. you can now see his dimples, which means he’s probably giving you a genuine smile, but you still can’t help but feel bad
tucking your knees into your chest and placing your chin on top of them, you whisper out, “i’m sorry.”
you squeeze your eyes shut and continue, “i really shouldn’t have done that. i didn’t mean to make you fall.  like i just- i’ve been looking for this book everywhere, you know? and when i just found it, i guess i got way too excited. by the way, i didn’t mean to offend you with whatever i said. it’s just, you know that i have a tendency to- “
“ramble, i know. really, y/n you’re fine. i get it. i’ve been freaking out over this book too,” namjoon consoles you, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. “don’t be too hard on yourself, okay?”
you nod weakly
“hey,” he continues, “how about this? we share the book instead. we anyway both have professor lee, so this method could be easier, you know? plus, we can share notes too.”
regaining your senses, you snort, “no offense joon, but i barely know you. it’s cool if we share things, but let’s start small and just share class. i don’t know how much of you i can tolerate.”
you meant for that to be a joke. can he tell? oh god, that was not good timing. you were literally having a breakdown a couple minutes ago. does namjoon have the same sense of humor as you? does he even have a sense of humor?
“for your information, yes i do have a sense of humor. you were thinking out loud by the way,” namjoon mentions dryly when you look at him in confusion. “and ‘joon’? we’re making nicknames for each other already, baby? i thought we’d wait till at least the second date. are we counting this one as our first?” okay, so now he’s pulling your leg
wait, kind of literally
his hand (the one that was around your shoulders at first) is now resting at his side. and because the two of you are sitting against a bookshelf next to each other, it’s now slightly brushing against your thigh
you stare in shock. THE kim namjoon touching you??!?! not sure if this is a blessing or a curse
“oh shit, sorry. my bad,” he finally notices after following your line of vision after seeing you gape at your legs.
great, now you’re going to think that he’s a creep! just because he’s popular on campus and in a frat doesn’t mean he likes to spend his free time feeling up girls
plus, he wants to make a good impression on you, as crazy as it sounds. he’s heard about you before, and you’re one of the smartest people on campus, staying holed up in your dorm to study rather than go to a party
(he doesn’t know about your crippling netflix addiction that you disguise immaculately. no one does, thankfully)
plus, you’re pretty and, although he would never admit it to your face, funny
anYWAYS
so what if he has a teeny-weensy crush on you? it’s not even that big of one. it’s so tiny. the smallest. not even there
yup
namjoon doesn’t have a crush on you
spoiler alert: he’s wrong about that
and you definitely don’t have a crush on him either
spoiler alert: he’s wrong about that too
so the reason why his heart skips a beat whenever you make eye contact with him is definitely a coincidence and not because he has a crush on you
right?
spoiler alert, again: wrong
he clears his throat, “sorry, you can have the book. i’ll just buy it online, i guess”
you pout and start to argue because you still feel a bit guilty, but he stands up and offers you a hand, which you look at hesitantly but still take
“you’re not gonna like, pull a WWE superstar move on me are you?” you joke
“who says i won’t?” he smirks at you, while pulling you up closer toward him
the sound of footsteps round the corner, probably jimin, and the two of you break apart before anyone can catch the two of you in another compromising position
an excited voice exclaims, “goOD NEW GUYS! i found an extra copy in the back! wow, i mean, that’s SUCH a coincidence! what great news!” jimin waves a textbook in his hands with a big grin on his face. a little too big of a grin, if you’re being honest
“i DEFINITELY didn’t know that we have extra copies in the back at all times! wow! isn’t this awesome?” he continues
is he JOKING?!??! you know you did NOT just spend this much time fighting for a book you could have had the entire time. and you definitely know that you did not spend a solid fraction of it embarrassing yourself in front of kim namjoon
speaking of namjoon
he doesn’t look so happy with jimin either. his jaw is now clenched and arms are crossed intimidatingly. he glowers at his friend and raises an eyebrow.
wait… that’s kind of hot. if you’re being honest, it’s really hot
"jimin, you're shit at lying, you know?” he says, “what was the real reason you didn’t give us the extra copy ahead of time?”
should jimin tell you guys the truth? well, a part of it wouldn’t hurt. he can already tell the two of you like each other based on your body language and thought leaving the two of you alone would help you two get even closer
he laughs, “no i literally forgot for like the entire beginning of your little argument and then i thought it would be fun to see how it pans out.” the smile on his face turns to a slight grimace as he sees the two of your unamused faces
you turn to namjoon, wondering if he’s thinking of getting “revenge” on jimin like you are. still keeping his eyes trained on jimin, he nods imperceptibly as if the two of you had communicated telepathically
“well, jimin, you did get us to agree. unfortunately, it’s not about the thing you want.” you say in what you hope is an intimidating manner. thankfully, namjoon adds more oomph to your words by cracking his knuckles
“okay, great! while you do that, i’m going to be at the front desk, ready to ring you guys up. you know, actually doing my job? have fun, you two! try to come up with something original and scary if you’re getting your so-called ‘revenge’, won’t you?” jimin grins and ambles off
oh my god, why is he so carefree? it’s lowkey frustrating
when the two of you are alone once again, namjoon turns to you, a question at the tip of his tongue
“so are we gonna beat his ass or what?”
you shake your head and furrow your eyebrows (namjoon finds it endearing that you’re serious about teaching jimin a lesson but he’ll never tell you)
“no, we have to think something out and be clever about it. plus, physical violence isn’t exactly my forte.”
“that’s fine,” namjoon replies, checking the time on his watch. “but it’s getting kind of late right now and i have to get some stuff ready for my frat.” seeing your face fall he adds, “let’s meet up sometime soon though, okay? how about we meet up at the starbucks next door later?”
is this his way of asking you out on a date? you’re kind of in shock at the idea
nonono, don’t overthink it y/n, it’s a casual meetup. casual.
namjoon doesn’t like you! you don’t like him… that much
it’s fine!
“oh! can i have your number then? it’ll be easier for us to communicate,” he adds on, feeling slightly nervous. which is kind of weird because pretty much all other girls on campus would flip their shit if he asked that and say yes without hesitating. but then again, they also don’t accidentally pull him on top of them in the back of a bookstore
who knows? you could say no
“sure,” you stammer out, still in surprise. namjoon hands you his phone to fill out your contact information and you save your name as “y/n :-D”
he lets out a little chuckle at that, simply saying, “cute,” and you swear you can hear your heart combust
the two of you head to the checkout counter, where jimin smiles knowingly at you two
“i’ll be expecting something extraordinary from you nerds,” he teases, to which the two of you roll your eyes
“i’ll catch you later, okay?” you tell namjoon while heading out the door, to which he nods with a dimpled smile. “and thanks for nothing jimin!” you call out, waving at him sarcastically
“you got the book in the end so be grateful!” jimin yells back
before the door completely closes, you hear namjoon threaten jimin, “once we get back to the house, i’m going to beat your ass for real,” to which jimin responds lazily with “sure, but you’ll be thanking me when the two of you start dating.”
you bite your lip to stop laughing. when you open your car door and look down when you see that someone has texted you
from unknown number: well today was certainly interesting… does meeting next week at 3 work for u?
from unknown number: shoot, sorry i forgot to say my name lol. this is namjoon btw
smiling down at your phone, you type back a response
to namjoon: sure! sounds great! c u then :)
you jump in surprise when you hear a noise come from inside the bookstore which seems to be jimin’s voice
“DUDE LOOK, SHE SAID YES!!! SHE’S TOTALLY INTO YOU!”
wow, he’s surprisingly loud. and accurate, too? are you that obvious about your crushes?
“NOW’S YOUR CHANCE, ASK HER IF THIS IS AN OFFICIAL DATE!”
well, it could be your chance too
smirking, you quickly type back a response before namjoon can say anything
you hope you said the right thing
to namjoon: it can be an official date if you want it to be one ;) i know i’d like it that way
setting your phone down, you let out a deep breath you didn’t know you’ve been holding and get into your car
slowly pulling out of the parking lot, you sneak a quick glance into the window of the bookstore and see namjoon staring at his phone in shock with an open mouth and jimin standing next to him, eagerly looking at the screen
jimin catches your eye through the window and winks at you with a smile
okay
so did you say the right thing? fingers crossed you did
your phone buzzes again, indicating someone has texted you (hopefully it’s namjoon)
a big smile breaks out on your face once you pick up your phone
from namjoon: i like the way u think ;)
from namjoon: so it’s on then? an ACTUAL date next week at 3? we can decide on how we’re gonna mess with jimin later lmao
yeah
you definitely said the right thing

Blackbird
Tumblr media
Happy birthday, @shireness-says! I have so enjoyed all of our chats during the cssns about our love for the Brothers Jones, Frozen Jewel, and Captain Cobra. You write all of those so well, but I tried to give you some quality Captain Cobra for your birthday nonetheless along with a fic that sums up your love of art and books. I hope you like it and that your day has been awesome! It is of course, based on the Beatles song “Blackbird” which I think both Killian and Emma could relate to.
Summary: Magical Mystery Books is your stereotypical quirky bookstore. Killian Jones, however, is not your typical quirky bookstore owner. Neither are the dark yet beautiful pieces of art that hang over the cash register.
Rating: G

Henry was the one who found it; the quirky bookstore called Magical Mystery Books. It was one of those eclectic places with every genre imaginable from out of print gothic hardbacks to bestselling paperbacks to edgy graphic novels. Just like one would expect, it was crowded with volumes from floor to ceiling. Yet contrary to stereotype, it wasn’t messy. The place was not only immaculately clean but organized by genre and carefully alphabetized.
Yet exactly according to stereotype there was also the store owner and his one faithful employee who could find what you were looking for even with a vague description. However, defying stereotype, said store owner was not an eccentric old lady with a cat. Oh no, he was far from that.
Okay, Emma Swan had to admit, maybe slightly eccentric. But he was male and definitely not old. Neither was he a bookish looking fellow with a tweed coat and an awkward stammer. Though he did occasionally whip out a pair of black framed reading glasses.
No, Killian Jones did not look like a book store owner with his leather motorcycle jacket, his pierced ear, and his distractedly tight jeans. The kids loved to come to the book store for the great YA selection and vintage comics. The adults came to ogle the store’s owner. Or perhaps his lone employee Belle with her high heels, fashionable skirts, and perfect, wavy auburn hair.
Emma, however, came for her son. Henry swore that no other store had a better fantasy or sci fi collection, and once Henry had exhausted all of those, Mr. Jones gladly supplied him with more obscure recommendations. Both Jones and Belle adored Henry, a rare ten-year-old who stood in rapt fascination at their collection of original illustrations by Maurice Sendak and E.H. Shepherd which were under glass in the children’s section with a sign that read “not for sale.” They had once belonged to Belle’s mother, a dedicated bibliophile herself. Henry even soaked up stories Belle told about how her mother risked death in a house fire to save the illustrations.
“That boy will be a writer someday,” Killian commented to Emma as he rang up her purchases one afternoon.
The boy in question was poring over an Avengers comic protected by plastic circa 1969. She hoped he had noticed how many digits were on that price tag.
“He certainly has enough notebooks full of stories to publish one day.” Emma couldn’t help the mom brag. She certainly hadn’t expected to luck out with a kid like Henry the day she held that pregnancy test in her trembling hand at nineteen.
“Aye, he’s told me. I said I’d like to read them, but he wouldn’t hear of it.”
“Don’t take it personally,” Emma assured Killian, “he won’t let me read them either.”
“Someday perhaps.”
Emma took the bag of paperbacks that hung from Killian’s prosthetic. She had never asked how he lost his left hand; she honestly didn’t know how one went about broaching such subjects. Henry didn’t know either, though Belle had alluded to some sort of accident when Killian was in the navy.
She thanked him, but before she turned to go, she noticed something new hanging above the register. It was mixed media art; a painting combined with some sort of collage technique. It was a dark painting with an outline of a bird done in such muted grays it almost blended into the background. Yet the collage technique gave the bird texture and a sense of movement. A quote was woven through the dark background: “Blackbird singing in the dead of night.”
“Beatles?” Emma asked, gesturing over his shoulder.
He smiled at her, but not the cocky one he gave to flirtatious customers. This one was more
genuine. “Know that song?”
Emma smiled in return. “My favorite Beatles song, actually.”
“Mine too.”
Emma shuffled her feet, something about his smile making prickles of nerves skitter across the back of her neck. “Well, I guess I see why you liked the painting then. And it makes the bookstore name make more sense. Then again you are British . . . “
She trailed off when she realized she was rambling.
“Ah, and all British people must like the Beatles.”
“Well, no, I mean – I didn’t mean -”
He laughed and waved his hand to dismiss her discomfort. “No offense taken, love.”
Face burning, Emma grabbed Henry and left as quickly as she could. It was easier when he focused all his attention on her son.
******************************************************
Henry had gotten to that age when he was suddenly harder to buy for. Most kids his age wanted electronics, and while she had saved up for a video game system last Christmas, most stuff was out of her price range. Thank God her kid liked books.
Of course, figuring out what he would like and what he hadn’t already read wasn’t easy. Hence why she was at Magical Mystery Books while Henry was at school. It wasn’t until she turned down an aisle to find Killian Jones with his ass literally in her face that it occurred to her she’d never been here without her son as a buffer. Jones was atop a rolling ladder shelving books on the top shelf, hence why his ass was at eye level. She noticed a bit of his abs as his shirt hitched up, and she averted her gaze as her cheeks burned. What was her problem? It wasn’t as if she’d never seen a man’s . . . er, assets before.
Emma took a few steps back before clearing her throat to announce her presence. When he turned and saw her, he gave her that same grin again. The one that made his laugh lines crinkle and his cheeks dimple. The one that made her skin buzz like a live wire.
“Emma! It’s nice to see you here at this time of day. Let me guess, you’re looking for a gift for your lad.”
Emma arched her brows. “How’d you know that?”
He shrugged as he turned and headed down the sci fi aisle. “Well, time of day, plus Henry mentioned he had a birthday coming up.” He stopped, ran his fingertip along the bindings before him, then pulled out a slender volume.
“A Wrinkle in Time?” Emma asked incredulously.
Killian nodded. “He said he’d never read it because it’s a ‘girl’s book’.”
Emma had to giggle at his eye roll and air quotes.
“I told him he’d miss out on way too many books with that narrow mindset.”
Emma’s brow wrinkled, unsure. “But the movie sucked.”
Killian staggered backwards, his hand to his heart. “Swan please, my heart can’t take it.”
Emma shook her head, laughing fully now. “Has anyone ever told you that you’re melodramatic?”
“Constantly,’ he told her with a wink.
Killian rang up A Wrinkle in Time along with another selection he said Henry had been eyeing last time he was there. It was something from the late 50s called Have Space Suit – Will Travel and had a cover that looked awfully sci-fi theater kitschy to Emma, but she decided to trust Killian’s suggestions. After all, when it came to this fantasy and sci-fi stuff, Emma was completely lost.
Emma paused once again when taking her bag. A new painting was above the cash register, in the same mixed media genre as the previous one. It was still mostly dark and featured a textured bird, yet this time there was a tiny ray of bright colors in the top right corner. The bird’s wings were outstretched this time, one of them bent and crooked. This time the words “Take these broken wings and learn to fly” seemed to stretch towards the light. It took Emma’s breath away. Without tearing her eyes away from it, she spoke to Killian.
“It’s . . . sad, but beautiful.”
“Aye,” he told her softly as he gave her the receipt, “some of the most breathtaking things are a little sad. Wouldn’t you say?”
She looked away from the painting and into his sparkling blue eyes, and she had the strangest feeling they were talking about two different things.
As she took the receipt, her eyes were drawn to his prosthetic and she realized – the bird’s left wing was the one that was broken.
******************************************************
Emma was tucked into a leather wingback chair in the romance section of Magical Mystery Books (something Killian had already teased her about, to which she had retorted that it was either this or force her hips into the bright yellow Curious George chair in the children’s section) answering one last email for work. She could hear Killian and Henry having a heated debate in the YA lit section.
“- but there should be hope after a writer puts you through all that pain!”
“But dystopian lit is about commenting on social ills, is it not? Her whole point was the senselessness of war,” Killian retorted.
Emma shook her head and smiled as she hit send on her email.
“But saving Prim was supposed to be the whole point!”
Emma frowned. Henry had taken the ending of that trilogy way too hard. So hard it had worried her a little. She kicked herself now for letting him read them; he was probably too young.
“And thus the senseless part.” Killian always interacted with Henry with the utmost respect, never talking down to him.
“I still threw that third book against the wall,” she heard Henry mutter.
Killian laughed heartily. “Aye, I confess I did too. And not just over Prim.”
“Finn?”
“God yes, that pissed me off.”
She heard both of them grumbling in agreement at Suzanne Collin’s plot choices, and a huge smile broke out on her face. She pushed herself off the chair and headed towards them. Henry was perched on a stool, a notebook in his lap as he scribbled with a pencil. Killian was next to him shelving books from a cart.
“Hey, Mom! This book report on Mockingjay is going to be so good thanks to Killian.” Henry shot him a glance. “Even though we sort of disagree a little.”
“On the contrary,” Killian countered, ruffling her son’s hair. If it made her ovaries quiver, that was only because she’d been a single mom for ten years. Ten long years. “I happen to agree wholeheartedly. I was just trying to help you see another point of view.”
“Ready kid?” Emma asked as her son stuffed his notebook into his backpack.
“Yeah, Mom.”
Emma frowned as she watched Killian make his way behind the counter. “I’m sorry we just came here to bug you for homework help. We didn’t even buy anything.”
Killian leaned his arms on the counter, and Emma couldn’t take her eyes off how his muscles filled out his button-down shirt. He’d rolled his sleeves up, revealing the dark hair on his arms as well as where his left arm met his prosthetic hand. Emma wondered if it ever made him self-conscious. She hoped it didn’t, at least not around them.
“Anything for my best customers,” he told them, winking at Emma.
Her eyes flickered nervously away from his, and that was when she saw the newest painting. “All your life you were merely waiting for this moment to be free” it said this time. The work, part painting and part collage, was still dark like the other two, but the light in the right corner was bigger. But the most striking part was that the blackbird was no longer alone, there was now a white bird in the painting as well, and the collage work on it was breathtaking, as if it really had feathers.
“It’s a swan.”
Emma’s gaze swung to meet Killian’s. His eyes were searching her face intently, and suddenly the breath left her lungs. Without another word, she grabbed Henry by the arm and hurried them both from the bookstore.
*******************************************************
Emma hadn’t realized how often they had been going to the bookstore until she suddenly could no longer face its owner. Three weeks had passed, and Henry was now almost daily asking to go to Magical Mystery Books the second she picked him up from school. And every single time, she gave him a flimsy excuse not to.
“What did Killian do?” Henry finally demanded.
“What in the world are you talking about kid?”
Henry rolled his eyes. “Please, Mom. That has to be it. Did he try to kiss you or something?”
Emma almost collided with the car in front of her. “Why the hell would you ask that?”
Henry shrugged. “Because he likes you.”
Emma had no idea what to say as she gripped the steering wheel tighter.
“I wouldn’t mind you know,” Henry finally said. “If you dated him, I mean.”
Emma blinked in shock at her son.
“When did you get so smart?”
He grinned in a way that he definitely picked up from Killian. “When I started hanging out at a bookstore.”
*************************************************
Emma marched into Magical Mystery Books the next morning and headed right to the front counter. Killian was there doing something at the register, and his eyes widened in surprise when he saw her. Whether that was because he hadn’t seen her in over three weeks or because she looked like a woman on some kind of mission, she wasn’t sure.
She crossed her arms over her chest as she scrutinized the painting over his shoulder. The dark background in this one was now littered with stars, the blackbird swooping down through them, straining towards a white swan that floated on a pond with a glittering reflection of the stars upon their surface. Her (she assumed it was a female swan, anyway) neck was bent away from the blackbird. “Into the light of the cold dark night” it said.
“Did you paint those?”
She saw Killian’s adam’s apple bob as if he wasn’t sure if she was asking or beginning an interrogation, but he lifted his gaze to meet hers anyway.
“Aye.”
She nodded. “Okay then.”
He yelped when she yanked him over the counter towards her, and his eyes were still opened when she crashed her lips into his. Soon, however, he was kissing her back, his hand threading her hair, his tongue seeking entrance. She gave it to him, her own hands releasing his shirt front to find their way into his hair. It was hungry and frantic, with teeth clashing and lips bruising. She started to pull back, only to dive in for more again. She was half tempted to scramble over the counter, his kiss so intoxicating it made her want every part of him. Finally, they were both panting, foreheads pressed together.
“That - “ he gasped.
“Would have been a lot better without this stupid counter between us.”
He laughed as he traced her jaw, but then his blue eyes went a shade darker with lust. “Then get over here,” he growled.
In his next painting, the blackbird was floating in the water, the swan’s neck bent over his.
Blackbird fly into the light of the dark black night.

Books You’ve Never Heard of that Will Instantly Cure that Vacation Hangover!
Recommended by Nicole Conway, author of Legend and the Dragonrider Chronicles
Sooooo … yeah. School is starting back up soon. The parents are rejoicing, marking down those days on the calendar like it’s the countdown to Christmas. The kids are groaning (except for the nerds, like me, who loved school) and dreading early morning wake-ups and homework. The convenience stores are stocking their shelves for those teacher supply lists, filling the store with the ambient aroma of fresh Ticonderoga pencils, crayons, and composition notebooks.
Whatever your feelings about the beginning of the end of summer vacation, books are there help you survive. They’ll pass the time until the first day arrives, or numb you to the inevitable pain of being conscious before 8 AM. But you don’t have to scour the bestseller racks of pricey hardbacks to find that perfect world to escape to. Here’s a little list of lesser-known books that will give you all the comfort you need!
The Joining of Souls series by Shaila Patel ( @shaila_writes )
Not only have these books been nominated for (and won) multiple awards—they’re wildly entertaining, drenched in captivating details, and always ready with twists and turns you won’t see coming!
The Fogdiver by Joel Ross
Any Percy Jackson fans out there? If you like his elements of fantasy, diverse casts of engaging young characters, and touches of whimsy – then you HAVE to read this book!
Beauty by Robin McKinley ( @robinmckinley )
Arguably the best retelling of Beauty and the Beast ever written. McKinley is a master of lyric, beautiful writing and the happily-ever-after ending we all crave.
The Summoner by Gail Z. Martin ( @GailZMartin )
If the ending of GOT broke your heart, this compelling, fast-paced fantasy series will whet your appetite for adventure, light romance, action, mystery, and magic. My favorite thing about it? It’s clean. So you can pass it down to your kids/younger siblings without a worry!
Slayer Academy series by Louise Cypress ( @theyagal )
There’s a reason academy series are so hot right now—and it’s because of books like these! Louise mixes humor, mystery, and tales of forbidden love into stories carried by authentic and relatable characters. You’ll laugh, cry, and wish you could be a slayer, too!
Fire in the Woods by Jennifer Eaton ( @jennifermeaton )
I. Could. Not. Put. This. Book. Down!! It’s just the right mix of action and cute alien boys fighting for survival as they try to head off an intergalactic war with an unsuspecting earth. Trust me, it’s the sci-fi story you’ve been craving!
Skellig by David Almond ( @davidjalmond )
Don’t let the size of this book fool you. For a tiny, fast read—this story packs a major punch. I’ve never read anything that impacted me as much as this book did. It’s intensely beautiful, emotional, and will have you thinking for days after about who—or what—Skellig truly is.
Petshop of Horrors by Matsuri Akino
Welcome to Count D’s shop, where the pet you receive will be precisely what you deserve … Seriously, though. This series of manga is another quick but powerful read, incorporating tales of myth and fantasy from all over the world in mysteries and scandals that will make you think twice about how you treat others—including your pets.
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer ( @marissa_meyer )
Okay, if you’ve walked past these books in the store and not picked them up yet – now is the time!! I guarantee you’ve never read fairy tale retellings like these, and their unique spin on familiar stories will leave you inspired and breathless!
Don’t miss Nicole Conway’s panel with Marissa Meyer at San Diego Comic-Con!
If you like these books, you can get also get lost in the world of Nicole Conway’s dragonriders with The Dragonrider Chronicles or Dragonrider Legacy!

12. What are your 5 favorite songs right now?
You picked one of my favourite questions from this list!
Wiley - Can’t Go Wrong
Mungo’s Hi Fi feat. Pupajim - Bike Rider
DUCKWRTH - TAMAGOTCHI (I love DUCKWRTH so much!
Gin Wigmore - Kill of the Night
Richard Cheese - People Equals Shit (This song always helps me when I have a bad day at work!)
22. Where would you like to travel?
The whole world. I’d like to travel to the US to visit friends. (New and old! Some of them I only know for a few months, others I know since more than 10 years!)
Japan
Helsinki
Mexico
Egypt
I’d like to see Paris again.
I’d like to go on a tour with photographers who capture images of animals and nature. Especially wolves and snowy places. And places full of plants and colours.
Dublin
And London. And I’d like to stay in London but I guess I’m too poor for that. lol
54. Favourite store?
Flying Tiger
Boesner (art supply)
Modulor (art, DIY, stationery supply)
Otherland (It’s a book store in the area I grow up in. They mainly sell fantasy, sci-fi etc.) (There’s also another store in that area that was significantly bigger when I was younger and they were specialised on fandom stuff. From Star Trek and Star Wars to everything Anime, Buffy comics etc. etc. So I kinda grew up in fandom town? XD)
Curious Fox (An English book store in the area I life now!)
KIKO (Because I am addicted to make up but I also don’t want animals to be harmed in testing or making it… but I’m also cheap and want quality. If you’re like me, KIKO is a good option. XD)
and Primark. It’s a good option, especially when you are overweight and don’t want to wear the fucking tents they sell every else because obviously, when you are fat, you have to hide! (Looking at you H&M etc.) (I just wish Primark would carry even larger sizes!)
72. What colour are your towels?
I’ve got random towels. My aunt gave me green ones when I moved into this apartment. The colour has faded a bit since then. I have a POTC and a Beauty and the Beast (got the latter when I was like… 8? XD) one. And really random ones. lol
95. Last movie you watched?
The Net with Sandra Bullock, I think. Haven’t watched it through though. Sometimes I watch movies I already watched to calm myself or just switch off my thoughts.
118. Do you like Chinese food?
Yes, I do! No meat for me though. So I order everything with tofu. lol (And I have the a cracker stomach, so I can’t take food that’s too hot or spicy. XD)
136. Do you sleep with your doors open or closed?
Open. I have a cat, so he has to be able to get to his food or the toilet. XD
145. Tea or Coffee?
Tea! (I don’t like coffee. It’s okay in chocolate though, hahaha!)
Thank you for sending me these!
