Kaalki to the rescue

Here are some easy ways Monarch could have been defeated but wasn’t because then there would be a really short season 5

Let’s assume that the kwamis know who Gabriel Agreste is. After all, Marinette did idolize him as her fav fashion designer.

Anyway, there were plenty of opportunities for Kaalki to use her power.

1. when Nathalie was feeding them. Kaalki could be among the first to eat and use her power to teleport them all to Ladybug’s location. This would be useful since Gabriel is still weakened and Nathalie would be a dead giveaway to his secret identity

2. Anytime Gabriel left them alone or went to sleep, Kaalki could have just teleported the kwamis to Marinette’s bedroom and they all shout Gabriel’s name. And Gabriel can’t even get them back because if it were that easy, there would not be the whole missing kwami drama in Sandboy. Even if they were in their prison cells, I’m pretty sure a portal that got the Eiffel Tower to a desert can easily capture them too.

3. Kaalki teleports Gabriel deep underwater. He can’t exactly transform if he can’t talk. Once he dies, the kwamis, with some oxygen in their cages, are teleported to Marinette’s room and they happily tell her where to find Monarch’s corpse and their miraculous rings.
