I know the only scenes we see of Gran Torino training All Might are just Torino kicking the crap out of Toshi, making him scared shitless of Torino as an adult, but I really like to think that they goofed off a little too before Nana's death. This hc created the idea of one of Torino's training activities being a really intense game of tag around the city.

Honestly despite my feelings about how the last arc of MHA went down I really love Deku and his story.

I just feel like a lot of the time we get these protagonists whose whole philosophy is it doesn’t matter what you were born as everyone can achieve greatness. But then the series goes on and it turns out that actually it DOES matter because the protagonist has this really great lineage and these really great powers you can only have through birth they were actually born born, predestined if you will, to do this.

But MHA actually sticks to its guns. Midoriya wasn’t revealed to have some great connection to all might that the universe had put in place. He wasn’t defended from some great lineage that makes him uniquely suited to this. Hell All for one didn’t even turn out to be his father, there was no hidden powerful quirk he was always meant to have. He was just Midoriya Izuku a boy who was in the right place at the right time and simply decided to act while the world did nothing. And that’s what really made him a hero.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I believe him a bit more when he goes anybody can be a hero if you just decide to act

Wait, no... not to be salty (again, I just need to get this out of my system), but I'm remembering how pissed the some of fandom acted towards Midoriya for saying "no" to joining Bakugou's agency, calling him ungrateful and whatnot even though they don't need an agency to still be heroes together side by side...

Like, if this bonus chapter shows them being heroes together, having friendly competition and smiling together and Midoriya still isn't a part of Bakugou's agency...

I'm telling you a part of me is going to erupt.

Maybe it's just me, and I voiced this before, but was it ever necessary for them to be in the same agency when it was never even a big deal in the story for them?

It was always about them being heroes side by side... SO THEY NEEDED SOMETHING AS MATERIAL AS AN AGENCY FOR THAT?! MIDORIYA ACTUALLY DESERVED HATE FOR THAT?!

Even if Midoriya joined Bakugou's agency, I'm still going to feel some kind of way because the some of the fandom acted like he would never change his mind about that!

Trust me when I say this is the best Traitor Kaminari fic I have ever read. My initial plan was to do the whole first chapter but then I realized I didn´t have infinite time so have these 8 pages instead!

Ninjago AU: MHA crossover

So, hiiii... I'm kinda nervous (so freakin' nervous, you don't even know-).

I've never made a post here before on Tumblr. All I do is like a ton of posts instead.

But I love Ninjago and I've had this au cooking in my head for like a year and a half now. So, I might as well share it with the rest of y'all, right?

Anyways, moving on!

What if things in Crystallized ended poorly? What if the Overlord won and managed to kill Lloyd? And since his element is connected to life, what if everything in Ninjago started to die out soon after?

What if the Ninja were turned into crystal zombies before they could even activate their dragon forms? What if Wu, Nya, Pixal, Dareth and everyone else turned shortly afterwards?

The First Spinjitzu Master, horrified with what has become of his world, his creations, and his own family, decided enough was finally enough.

He summons the aid of the Source Dragons (when all of them were in agreement that Ninjago mustn't fall. Because if Ninjago falls, then the other realms will soon follow) to pull one last desperate power move against everything that is fading.

This was one last resort: They reverse and alter life and fate all at once.

Everything soon fades to white after that.

In another universe, in another timeline, the Ninja are born again with new lives and identities. But their memories of what they once were, what they once experienced... are long gone.

But that doesn't mean what was lost can't be recovered.

In this new world in the day and age of quirks, 9 lost and hurt souls eventually end up in the hidden continent of Ninjago.

Nothing will ever be the same again.

But maybe that's a good thing.

In other words, Izuku Midoriya (formerly Yagi), Kai and Tsuyu Asui, Denki Kaminari, Eijiro Kirishima, Zane Hatsume, Hitoshi Aizawa, Melissa Shield, and Himiko Izumi are the reincarnations of Lloyd Garmadon, Kai and Nya Jiang Smith, Jay Gordon Walker, Cole Brookstone, Zane Julien, Morro Wu, Pizal Borg, and Chamille and become the Ninja heroes of Ninjago.

Featuring: A lot of trauma, found family, possible transformations, and a lot of spinjitzu and elemental powers as they live (relive?) their adventures with Izuku's slightly more responsible uncle and present stepmother as their ninja teachers.

Nothing can go wrong here. Absolutely nothing.

Maybe a hot take, but I think deep down those particular shippers do notice the little development that their ship does have in canon and choose to take it out on BakuDeku shippers who are just fine not having their ship canon because the relationship did have a lot of development.

But here's the thing though!

A lot of development or little, that shouldn't stop you from liking and having fun with your ship.

Take it from someone whose OTP is Burnin x Miruko, a ship where the characters don't even have a scene of exchanging dialogue.

Canon can play a part as to why you like a ship, but you don't need it to have fun. You don't need it for validation. You don't need it to win some shipping competition, which shouldn't even be a thing in the first place.

It's actually a shame those shippers feel the need to put down BakuDeku when their ship is a cute ship! You're telling me you would rather spend your time trash talking a ship that you supposedly hate and don't care about (which given the amount of energy you spend talking about it, I am so not convinced) than gush about how cute your ship is?

You don't want to write more posts about that scene where they fist bump? Or when they trained together? How they became friends?

For every BakuDeku hate post, a fic, fanart, edit and any other ship creation is lost.

If you folks spent way less time hating on BakuDeku, you would be booming in fan creations in your ship community!

Really, the only shippers of that ship I do feel for is those who just want to talk about their ship and create fan creations for them. Are you going to leave them high and dry? Go reblog their art! Go comment on their fics! Like, are you for real?

BakuDeku gets a lot of fan creations because the majority of the shippers spend time actually being a community. Yes, we got some bad apples, but most of the time, it's giving fic recommendations and analyzing scenes that folks reblog and telling BakuDeku artists how good they are. Stuff like that!

Do more of that and I promise you you would be a lot happier.
