THEORY TIME :)))))))) (yaay it's back)

It's said: I will make the post tomorrow (3 posts actually, each with different topics)

but before, just a thing... Man that looks realistic... But TOO realistic... Where did he get that from??

We usually think that some things from the PC are drawn by Orange. At first, these were just theories... Like with the Gunslinger short. There were a lot of "drawn" things there; like the hat, the shoes, the stick-circle-thing...

But the Green's Channel 1st ep actually kind of confirmed this. Cuz we can see Orange drawing the basketball hoop with an art-style similar to the before mentioned thing. And also with colors other than the black-white we see him drawing with.

So I don't think these were drawn by Orange. The main difference I see is that Orange's style when drawing objects is more cartoonish… And Green's stuff in the ig pic is nothing of that...

There before I have two theories:

Google: We've seen that the sticks can pick up things from google images (Lightsaber Duel short). But this theory can be debunked by two facts: The first one being that (as shown in the image) the objects they pick have a cartoonish looking appearance. And the second one being that Green's laptop has a weird looking logo that I don't think is real…

2. Outernet: We know that the Green's arc happens after AvA s3. There is evidence like:

-Green's videos are being posted now and AvA s3 canonically happened in 2023 (PC dates)

-The modified comment where a person calls Orange by the TSC name and Green first doesn't recognizes it. But then that comment was deleted and they modified his response to recognizing it but still calling him Orange… This means that they either found out about the name in AvA s3 or before in AvLol (welp I'm getting of topic, whatever) (coudln't find it but trust me!!)

So, maybe after AvA s3 they get more ways to go to stick city…

+. Or here is the other path: Purple (aaaaaaaaaaaaa) Welp it's obvious what I'm about to say. Purple is friends with Green and he has a portal connecting to the Outernet. sooooo Purple may be in the Green's arc.

This also makes sense cuz we know that the relation with the CG and Green has been "breaking" a bit (for reasons I will mention in tomorrow's posts after I finish my homework. And cuz of their lower and lower appearances in the vids.) and Purple hasn't been on the problem so far.... Here a pic of Outernet tech

Now some personal ranting: I like Purple, and even if I don't like him that much cuz yes. I don't know how to feel about him being in the arc cuz I was kind of hopping the CG would resolve the conflict together and with love and with their 10 years friendship they have and with their deepened care they have to eachother (which was, btw, more focused on in the Green's Channel 1st ep)… Sooo yeah, idk,

Chief: This is the Ice Fall of Oirase Gorge! Wow, it’s so stunning…!

Yodaka: The ice isn’t purely white, there’s a blue tint to it that truly gives it a beautiful appearance. 

Toi: Pretty… 

Toi: (It’s almost like time itself is frozen…)

Ryui: Almost like time itself is frozen, huh.

Toi: Huh?

Ryui: Hm? What’s wrong? 

Toi: It’s just that– I was thinking the exact same thing. 

Ryui: ‘That so. Matching as always.

Toi: Ehehe… 

Toi: (I’m so happy. We’re matching. The two of us are still…) 

Daniel: Seein’ a waterfall this huge all frozen sure is a strange sight.

Chief: That’s because this phenomenon occurs when the water trickling down from above comes in contact with the waterfall. The contact causes the amount of surface area exposed to the cold air to increase, consequentially spreading out the ice further.

Chief: The water freezes, then more water flows over it, freezing again… This process keeps repeating over and over, and that is how the icefall is formed! 

Daniel: Got it. As expected of our expert guide.

Chief: Aw, shucks… I mean, Daniel-san, you should do your research too!

Daniel: Trust me, I did. Those, um, serows show up around here, right.

Chief: (Pretty sure he just came across that info while looking up saunas in the area.)

Netaro: Nwoh–! Not a serow, but a stoat has revealed itself instead—!

Toi: Huh. Is that the same one we saw back at the Winter Story Festival…?

Chief: You’re going to use this on Toi-kun while he’s sleeping?

Netaro: Non! In fact, we will be doing the opposite. 

Nagi: What does that mean? Explain it to me like I’m five.

Netaro: From my observations so far, I hypothesize that this demon of Toi’s is asleep when Toi himself is awake. Hence, we are using this while Toi is awake.

Daniel: Well, I’d sooner believe in your Alter Ego theory, or that he’s got eighth-grader syndrome.

Daniel: There’s no way you’d be able to pick up memories from before Toi was even born.

Toi: …

Nagi: Um, I’d like to file a complaint against Buchi-san who isn’t doing a good job as ambassador of “Explanations Even Idiots Can Understand”… 

Chief: Sorry, I’m not sure if I get it either… I think, because there’s only one brain, Toi-kun’s body shouldn’t be able to have memories that don’t belong to him…?

Netaro: Failure is the mother of success! If it’s unable to pick up the right memories, then it’s most likely that Toi either has multiple personalities, or eighth-grader syndrome~

Ryui: Toi’s got neither of those!

Netaro: If it does successfully retrieve the memories�� 

Yodaka: –It would prove the existence of the demon?

Netaro: Nfufu… I will observe even a demon through the lens of science. If we are indeed able to retrieve memories regarding the circumstances surrounding Oshisha from before Toi’s lifespan… It would birth a new theory.

Netaro: It would hint towards the existence of “a science in which a specific persona is capable of crossing the space-time continuum!”

Daniel: … 

Ryui: Blab all you want, but if you’re gonna use this Printer on Toi, then… 

Netaro: Ah~ Yes yes, I know. You just looove to go on about safety.

I got Illuso for thiis oneee. It's not really a surprise that being in Passione means you don't really indulge in a lot of mundane things so really either of them will take what they get, as long as it's not cleaning... Who wants to do dishes and laundry after working all day? Favorites are a bit different, Illuso likes shopping. Clothes shopping, regular shopping.. Also your ideas of Claw being Stripe literally made me remember my old headcannon and funny scenario that Stripe is just a reincarnation of an old enemy of his that he killed. Also to add on as a joke side idea I thought Gizmo has been doing this kind of crap so many times that once he got to the first batch (gremlins from the 1st movie) he was like "WHEN WILL THIS END" And by the 2nd movie he's like "Okay I had it I'm getting the glock and chancala". I'm really hoping Stripe/Mohawk were girls the whole time, but no one asked so they just assumed they were guys, that would be great. It would also be a fun way to add a twist to the already existing movies. And the idea of Stripe being trans is interesting too and I thought of something similar (or maybe the same??). Maybe each iteration their gender is completely random, which would explain if Claw was Stripe that she was a girl back in the 1920s batch, but when they spawned in the first movie they ended up as a male, if that makes any sense.

Akridaaa here yaay! I love those fuckers! And a lot about the Akrida this episode since we're finally getting to seeing them full on.

God, Dean speaking about pain and letting it out so it doesn't fuck you up hurts. And of course it's highly relevant to this ep, Mary of course once more being the Dean mirror.

Ok lets begin, cuz I've thoughts. We'll do this one chronological aka as the ep goes.

1stly this is the episode when I literally went "oh there you were, u fucker" cuz this episode is the one when John acts most like the version we're used to from spn. Interesting thing, when John's talking to Millie at the beginning of the episode and she asks him.how he is but in a way that he can easily let rest there and he is so in his head about what happened last ep that he preemptively reassure her he isn't affected by the Vietnam trauma which ofc means it is at the front of his mind. Also about that scene, Millie saying she wanted to take a pry bar to the motorcycle heavily echoes Dean taking a crowbar to Baby after John's death. I have many thoughts about Millie saying Mary is good for John like Betty was. Like what does she mean? Why does John need someone to keep him in check tho, because thats the implication there for me, we'll circle back to this cuz my opinion kind changes as the ep goes on.

Ada off the bat is the focus here.She ignored Carlos' mention about the demon after the last time when she was almost sadistically plucking leaves off. She wasn't really listening to the case detail as Mary was listing them. She didn't even really get involved in the discussion except to say they need to work this case and oooof it hurts to see because we ofc now know why shes acting as distracted and worried as she is.

Lata took Ada knowing her djinn lore as a ... birds of a feather thing aka Ada being interesting in the lore as she herself is and is so pleased about it. I wonder what she thought about it after finding out about Tony and Ali.

God Tony's entrence is pretty fucking great tho, jeesus. I also love that we start it off on the usual set up for monsters that spn perfected aka the monster of the week doesnt show their face til late in the episode cuz theyre the threat, the danger, the thing we're not supposed to relate to or get close to whereas the victim and the brothers (in spn) are introduced to us with full shot of their face because we're meant to care about them, to associate them immediately with a person and be invested in them, be close to them. So Tony being shot as just his legs as he runs until the moment he sees Ada is absolutely gorgeous to me. It goes from this distant, dangerous thing to someone important to one of our main charaters in the span of seconds. In seconds he becomes someone we're emotionally invested in (even if just curiosity about why Ada has her reaction) only to then really hit home once she says who he is, her son.

I also love that Lata's question about Ada being a djinn is said completely without judgement, just Lata trying to recontextualize what she know about Ada to herself, including the earlier knowledge about djinn lore. And this non judgemental attitude is relfected by Carlos and Mary as well. They're curious, confused, shocked, but not hostile to Ada. They just want to understand. But John is a dif creature here. From the moment Ada memtions who Tony is, John is pissed. He's absolutely furious throughout Ada's story, completely cruel in his reaction and absolutely oblivious about how he comes across for all of it, or willfully ignorant if I'm not feeling charitable. And this after he was a dick to Mary earlier about the motorcycle, but that by contrasr was just a foot in mouth thing That, while yes, dickish, wasnt harmful ultimately. And in both he had no clue how he came across. In the 1st scene, Mary let him know, in the second, because it was so striking that Mary Carlos and Lata chose instead to remove him from Ada's presence as quickly as possible without any chastisement because they knew Ada safety was more important than John being made aware of his behaviour (be it even just the emotional side here, since I don't think they would ever think hed do anything really). And it's this scene that makes it clear beyond any reasonable doubt to me, thay yea, this is def John Winchester and he is just a few degrees off of spn!john and could easily become him.

But the other interesting part here is that it's him having this reaction, the newbie here, the one who's joined this fight without any personal stake really. Like Henry doesn't count since the trauma of losing Henry is an old one that is wrapped more in Henry's abandonment than the actual supernatural world, whereas everybody else has lost people they loved as a direct result of monsters. But they're still empathetic to Ada and understand her choice so much easier than John who just doesn't get it or even try. Because he's already written monsters off as the Enemy thus the evil to his good.Like I said about the previous episode, John views it all in stark Black and White colors.

And now we have the Millie/Ada/John/Dean parallel. Aka the parent afraid of/for their child to the point they end up hurting them. Now importantly, Millie is parallel more clearly with John as parent here, specifically his controlling behaviour towards his kids, Dean most of all Id say and using that fear/worry as an excuse for his shitty behaviour. While Ada is both Dean and John. Leaning more toward Dean, who ultimately did realise that the behaviour was wrong and tried to fix things in much the same way Ada gives Tony the choice to help, to reestablish connection, Dean extends the same to Jack. John never fully does this, he dies still balancing between saving his son vs killing him. And then there is the treating your child based off of seeing him as another person. This one is big too, because Millie and Ada treated their sons as tho punishing them for their fathers, but important distinction, Ada tried not to allow her fear to taint Tony, it was him walking into her nightmare that led to their break. Millie does treat John like this, deliberately. She constantly compares John to Henry and we have to assume this is a behaviour that's been present during John's childhood too because of how prevalent it is.

So we already have all the daddy issues before the main emotional break of the episode is even introduced. And it all paves the way for the John/Samuel parallel's and as such the Dean/Mary parallels once we enter Mary's mind.

And it's important too that it's John talking to Mary that cools John down and it's the comparison to themselves that has him actually willing to relate to Ada's experience.

God I still hate the Saint Miguel reference, especially after the previous episode.

Another important thing about Ada/Dean is they both acknowledge their failings and then choose to do better, whereas Millie is a bit of an inbetween, she's changing as I've said, but is just figuring it out still, she's not really there yet, but she's asking about how to do it which is very important. It means she's willing to put in the work to do better. I also love that Ada immediately believes Tony but so does Carlos, even without the evidence.

Small thing I appreciated about the talk the gang has about the Akrida is Carlos picking up the file and clearly trying to put stuff together themselves.

I love everyone but John's reactions to Ada. So so much. I also love the following your heart advice Ada gives Mary, it reminds me of Mildred (my beloved) giving the same advice to Dean.

God Carlos' lies are awful, how have they been a hunter so long ans still.are this shit at lying. I love them.

I adore the Akrida design as well, i fucking love those bugs soo much.

Aaaand Mary got stung. And Carlos making a joke to difuse the worry is soo soo good and his advice to Ada to just tell Tony the truth is brilliant. As is Ada's talk to him. I LOVE her making sure she refers to Tony as his own person rather than who he is in relation to her, it's her ackowledging his personahood and also her not pushing him and making it clear she knows he likely will still leave and wont force him.to stay, it is such such good communication.

John being signled out makes perfect sense to me here tbh, bacuse outta everyone there, John has been the one to push Mary even when she's been at her most stubborn, he's the one whose been challenging her since they met as she does him. They know Mary can just tune them.out because she's done it before (in this show even) but John has always broken through to her.

John saying you cant fight ur trauma but you can face it, is chef's kiss after last ep. It shows he has been thinking, has been trying to do better even if it's not shown to us. To some degree he knows what he needs to do. I dont even mind thay he's a bit too harsh initially in trying to convince Mary to face her worst memory, bacause it is a time crunch, there's time to process it properly after, once Mary is alive to do it. And he give her the space and understanding she needs once she's going through it, he doesnt make it about himself. So we have not just Mary afecting him like Millie says in the beginning, but he afects her too. This is why they can work together.

But goood I hate the Campbell's just as much as I hate spn!John. For the same reasons, and I still think they were better parents then John, bacause Mary at least had more stability than Dean and Sam did, because she had a stable home. But yea, Mary's tragedy in spn is def partly the fact that her kids had to live what she did, and she has no idea just how similar it was, not really.

John giving Mary the reassurence that shes right to want to leave once shes done hunting is also very very good.

And I gotta say I love the bonding between Ada and Tony at the end, open ended but full of potential and i love lata and tony so so much! And also also, carlos once more pulling that vital vital background work to finally find out about Roxy.

This episode is so chock-full of intergenerational trauma (not that thats surprising, but rather the way it gets highlighted here). There is so so much to talk about and I can't even get all of it out but yeah, heres ep 5. Do i have more thoughts about it? Always. But so far here we leave it

I’m so happy they get to explore a movie setting, I love movie settings I’m giggling and kicking my feet over here (I used to be interested in becoming a movie director when I was younger :,D it makes me happy to see my fav unit so passionate abt smth like this too)

Having to retake a whole scene bcz of a bug is so funny, I think I would lose my mind if an extra did that but I’ve never worked with extras so I wouldn’t know :p (but I can assume that it’d be a bit of a pain)

Also my experiences in directing movies was all done as a child, I would get my friends and cousins excited to act in a movie and we’d film every scene right after the other with a script we make up as we go. So them talking about doing scenes out of order makes me rly wish I got to partake in a scripted film. Ofc I am eternally grateful for all the people who actually went along with what I was envisioning. Even if it was rly frustrating at times, we were all children and I knew this.

Woah the voice acting in this alone is so raw and quiet, I’m having trouble figuring out the potential framing of a scene like this esp in a loud environment like an airport. I feel like there would be a lot of distractions they can add to enhance a scene like this but that’s just my thoughts on an x + y = 7 equation if that makes sense. This was so random if I were to actually direct a scene like this I wouldn’t be surprised if everything I said was irrelevant to a final product. Still tho I can’t rly imagine what they’re going for off of only the voice acting and explanation.

Omg being able to portray something wrong on purpose is so difficult, even thru voice acting I legit said “WOAAHHH” out loud n 3 seconds later it’s mentioned everyone felt smth was off LMAO so I’m glad to see I wasn’t just being super nitpicky and it was intentional. This happens to me A LOTT any movie or story that has a plot twist character always has that character so oddly played and it makes me feel like the writers, actors or directors don’t care abt those characters. Then a reveal happens and I realize it’s on purpose. The only problem I have with noticing that is the fact that it unimmerses me from the universe they try to build and it makes me criticize these people in my head throughout the duration of the medium. I think that’s not smth they should be striving for, this is a very difficult thing to pull off n I’m just a freak for directing so I notice it a lot more. Maybe a casual viewer wouldn’t lose immersion for smth like that. Idk u guys tell me if u experience anything like this as well.

If they’re able to still have adequate foreshadowing that doesn’t make me question the director’s intentions over a character’s, I think they did a good job. Otherwise I’m just sat there flaming a director I don’t know for an hour+ lmao. It makes me feel a little better for the character but again it’s just smth was still wrong, whether it was me or them idk..

AHEM anyways back to the story, this director makes everyone so nervous I think he needs to relax a little for everyone’s sake. Ya he produces good results but u can get the same answer with multiple equations.

It still feels like a string of lines that can and should be said quietly, but they should also be said quietly with the right emotions. He ramped it up right before they cut but I feel like the part he ramped up to should have been the energy he used to ramp up to something more. That’s my prediction, I’ll tell u how close I am when I get there :3

Inchresting, changing a scene to suit an actor more, now that’s something I’m used to, I didn’t think it’d be the answer tho. Since we were all children and we had no script, I had adapt and compromise EVERY SINGLE SCENE to make sure it was still fun for everyone in the end. Except for my first attempt with my youngest cousin, I think her siblings got rly mad at her when she was messing things up. It was literally the final stretch of the movie tho so I think we were just desperate to get it done. WAIT NO I REMEMBER WHY SHE GOT MAD. It was the first part of a “horror” movie coz they eventually had to leave, and she got mad that she was killed off 😭😭. Wow the memories of that movie, I actually learned so much from it and still hold onto principles that made themselves known to me when I first filmed that. It was utter garbage looking back at it now but it’s still near and dear to my heart. After that I forced more of my cousins and friends to film “movies” with me, I didn’t act in most of them but I hope I made it as fun for them as they did for me. I remember also editing one of them.

Today’s Christmas eve, so Kenma, Kuroo and I are supposed to walk around Tokyo while eating street foods while our families hang out together. If there’s something that I learn in these past 2 years is that the holiday season here it’s celebrated the exact opposite way as in my country, Christmas being the time for friends and couples to celebrate together; and New Year for the family, visiting temples in January 1st.

On January 1st the guys, plus Bokuto and Akaashi, invited me to visit a shrine nearby. While I love trying to immerse myself following the Japanese traditions, for New Year eve we didn’t feel the need to, since it was more family related than other holidays.

At around 5:30 am we were on our way to the Meiji Shrine in Harajuku, one of the most popular shrines in Tokyo. Despite being one of the most visited shrines nearby, Bokuto and Kuroo had insisted in taking me there, ending here in this ungodly hour.

- So chibi-chan…this is your second year here…how come you never been into a shrine before? – asks me Kuroo while Kenma sleeps on my shoulder. Why did I tell him about this?

- Yeah, I thought the twins will take you to one – says Bokuto.

- They were going to, but I got overwhelmed – I say, making him confused – it was my first year, and I had already done a lot of traditions that weren’t mine. After Christmas, I got really sick and anxious, so they just made sure I was fine

- You got homesick? – asks me Akaashi

- I feel like I was always homesick, I just ignored it. I was going to school, having my Japanese classes and I was the manager of the volleyball club

- I see, not a lot of time, plus you did have to immerse in the culture really fast, that probably help you to feel less than a normal person would

- Probably, and the team was always making sure I was okay. The twins and Rin always told me how happy they were that I was there, Kita-san and Samu always made sure that I ate properly. It was on the week between Christmas and New Years that I just collapse.

- Chibi-chan, you’re so strong! – says Bokuto rubbing my head.

- Are you okay now though? – Kuroo asks me, Kenma taking my hand slowly

Despite being so early there was already a lot of people there waiting to enter. I instinctively move a little closer to Kenma when we were arriving to the place, however as soon as Bokuto saw the giant Torii gates he took my arm, pulling me with him as fast as he could move.

- Wow, this is pretty – I say looking at the entrance surrounded by lots of trees, filming part of it while walking, inside there was surprisingly less crowded – are you sure we can run here? Isn’t it to pray or something?

- Yeah, I’m sure is alright

- Bokuto-san, you can’t just run off with Yn-chan just like that, remember we are here together, plus I’m sure Kozume doesn’t apprec-

- What’s that? – I say pointing at some… barrels?

- Those are sake barrels, to make it really simple, is to honor the gods. Let’s go and read the sign – says Kuroo laughing a bit. I’m sure that I’m acting like such a foreigner.

- Put your phone away, I’ll film so you can enjoy – says Kenma taking my hand without even waiting for answer.

- This is a cleansing station. You wash your hands in here before offering a prayer – says Akaashi, throughout the walk all of them had such a soft look every time I ask something that it was getting scary.

- Copy me chibi-chan! – says Bokuto loudly gaining a few glances by the people around

- Okay, but why?

- Respect, chibi, respect – says Kuroo

- That doesn’t help, but okay – I mumble to myself, making Kenma chuckle. After the prayer, which the boys taught me how to do, we walk around looking at the place

- Look! Good luck charms! Let’s get one chibi-chan! – says Bokuto. Since everyone was so eager for me to do experience all of this, they all agree immediately, even Kenma was all relaxed.

- Think of this as like a horoscope – says Akaashi before going to help Bokuto, who apparently got bad luck on his. Mine says The Best Fortune on it, so I assume that’s good. While I don’t really believe in things like horoscopes, but I can’t help to get a little happy by one in particular. Love: The person you are waiting for is already here.

- You got the best one – says Kenma looking at mine while he takes my hand

- Yeah, Y’all truly believe in this or…

- Some do, some don’t. It depends on the person

- What about you?

- I don’t have many options – says with a light blush appearing while handing me his paper. It reads Good Fortune on it, but the important part was below, Love: The person you are waiting for is already here. I look at him confused, but I couldn’t ask anything before getting interrupted

- Chibi-chaan! You got The Best Fortune?! Can you tie it up next to mine? – says Bokuto with sad eyes.

- Ehh…Sure. If it makes you happy

- Yay, I love you – says hugging me before running towards Kuroo

- Go with Akaashi-kun, I want to look for something with Kuro – Kenma says squeezing my hand with his smile. I go to where Akaashi is waiting, who tells me how to tie it up

- Since you got a good fortune, it’s supposed to cancel the bad luck. Here let me show you – says taking the paper – huh? You got a typo in your paper?

- Uh? Why?

- All of the different papers have standard answers, none of the fortunes say this in the love category…

- Really? But Kenma has the same thing…

- Yes – says giving me a smile – it can indeed be a typo, it happens with printing errors and translations, but it’s interesting that the two of you got it.

Soon enough Kenma arrives and takes me by the hand, pulling me somewhere while Kuroo says to the other two to leave us alone for a while. He passes me a little wooden plaque with a cat on it and a pen

- I have seen this before!

- They’re quite famous, write your wish and put your name and age at the end, and we go and put it there. You can write in English.

- What are you writing on it?

- It’s a secret…but it includes you – says blushing appearing on his face once again

God, when did I became so cheesy? I can see Kenma smiling slightly while I go to put the plaque – why yours is a secret but not mine? How unfair

I think I broke Genshin Impact

Here’s what happened yesterday - I’ve been stacking up funds for months for whenever they brought Childe back. I already have him but because he’s my favourite I want the extras. If you aren’t aware of the chances in this particular gacha den, you have a base 0.6% chance to roll a 5-star. If you get one, it also flips a coin to decide if you get the promotional one on the banner, or a random different one.

So for the most part people assume they will ‘earn’ the character by sinking in rolls until the pity mechanic kicks in, which is what I was doing. (I’ve NEVER pulled any 5-stars off pity.) I’m 40 wishes towards pity, and also 40 on the weapon banner, so I thought I’d try for that too.

The goal? C1 Childe (no coin flip needed, guaranteed, and had enough wishes, so I knew I could get him, no chance needed) and then to throw some wishes at the weapon banner (FAR more unkind in pity, so so hard to get what you want) but not waste everything I have.

Started off going for 1st weapon pity. 25 pulls in, pity happens, get a 5-star. Coin flip, and it’s a Memory of Dust, not Childe’s signature weapon. That’s a shame. I get the first feeling like my big wish night is heading for cold disappointment.

But I saved quite a bit, so just for a bit of a flex before going back to the character banner, I slap down a 10-pull on there and

I just get it. Childe’s pretty bow, immediately after getting another 5-star at the pity mark.

So figuring that was my allocation of luck for the entire year. I’m over the moon. I get the weapon AND can then pay for my guaranteed C1 with loads of gems to spare.

I do single pulls until he shows up, the Discord peanut gallery politely applauds - again, there was no chance involved to get him.

I say goodnight to everyone in chat and sit there, thinking. I’m gonna have to build up my pity again probably for Itto or something. So there’s no harm in sinking more wishes in here, especially since Chongyun’s on rate-up and I don’t have him yet.

The 1st (and Last) Time the Afton's Buy a Parrot

Go to the pet store, they said! Buy this talking Parrot, they said! It'll be fun, they said! Well...William slowly learns the pros and cons of buying their blue and grey Indian Ringneck parakeet.

So...Things have not been going so great. I've hit a severe road block in my steps into finding a job, and now...I'm starting the resume process all over again. Kinda pissed about it, not gonna lie. But, typing up this fanfic has helped me keep some of my sanity. So, I owe it all to my patient family members and friends who have had to deal with my agitated and unusually impatient self during my job struggles AND my period week amidst that.

It was already taught a name beforehand, and the kids seemed to love it! So, they kept it. The family took the time to set up the bird cage and the climbing items so the bird can fly around and join in the house drama.

It sure didn’t take long for the parrot to start picking up on words either! Dexter’s first word had been “Good morning!”, which he repeated to everyone in the house! It was really funny hearing Dexter pick up on certain repeated words. Sometimes, there were moments when Michael or Elizabeth would play peek-a-boo with Dexter!

“Peek-a-boo!” Michael cooed.

Dexter bobbed his head down, before popping it back! “Peekaboo!” Dexter said quickly.

“Yaaaay! He did it! Peekaboo!” Elizabeth cheered.

Dexter bobbed his head down and brought it back up again! “Peekaboo!” Dexter reacted.

Michael chuckled. “Yaay! Go Dexter!” he cheered.

At one point, Dexter had been watching William tickle little Chris. “Coochy coochy coo! A coochycoochycoo! A coochycoochycoochycoo!” William repeated over and over again. Chris was laughing happily and giggling at William’s silly words, while Dexter was studying his words very carefully.

The next morning, Chris ran down the stairs with his backpack. “Hi Dexter!” Chris greeted.

“Good morning!” Dexter replied.

“Hi!” Chris said again.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter teased suddenly.

Chris bursted out laughing and pointed at the parrot. “HEHEHE TEHEHEASED MEHEHE!” Chris yelled.

Clara heard the whole exchange from the kitchen, and was giggling as well. It didn’t take long for William to come downstairs in his work shirt. “Hey William...I think Dexter may have learned your teasing method.” Clara warned him with a smirk. William’s eyes widened in horror before he turned to look at the bird on the table.

Dexter looked at William. “Hi Will!” He greeted.

“Hi Dexter!” William said back.

“Hi Dexter!” Dexter repeated.

“Yup, that’s what I said.” William replied.

Dexter let out a whistle. “Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter cooed.

William was taken back, while both his wife and his youngest were laughing themselves silly. “How dare!” William reacted, going closer to the parrot.

“Bye!” Dexter said back.

“Nope. I’m not leaving.” William let him know.

Dexter bobbed his head down, and looked back up. “Peekaboo!” Dexter exclaimed. William hung his head and held back a laugh. “Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter added.

“Hey now! No Coochy coochy coo.” William warned.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter said back.

“What did I just say?” William asked.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter repeated.

“NO coochy coochy coo!” William yelled at him.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter repeated.

“Quit the teasing.” William ordered, pointing his finger at the bird.

Dexter looked at the index finger, before jumping his legs onto it and looking William in the eye. “Coochycoochycoo!”

Finally, William tapped out of the argument. Chris was laughing his head off, and his wife was giggling and shaking her head.

Ever since that little argument, William would sometimes get into ‘arguments’ with the parrot. As Dexter’s vocabulary got better and better, the arguments became more word-oriented and fleshed out. The arguments were still meaningless, but it was still fun to watch and laugh.

“I love you!” Dexter said.

“You love me?” William reacted.

“I love you!” Dexter repeated.

“How dare you love me.” William teased. Dexter jumped onto his shoulder and pecked his cheek, making a kissing sound. William smiled. “Shucks, Dexter! You’re making me blush!” William reacted.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter cooed.

William sighed. “Aaaand we’re back to the teasing.” William muttered.

“Peekaboo!” Dexter said after.

“Peekaboo? Alright.” William covered his face with his hand, and uncovered it. “Peekaboo!” Dexter let out a laugh, that sounded a little like a witch. William wheezed and laughed at that. “What was THAT?!” He reacted. “Is that what your laugh sounds like?! It’s demonic!” William reacted.

Dexter bobbed his head down and lifted it back up again. “Peekaboo!” Dexter reacted.

William only giggled at that. “You’re so weird.”

“I love you!” Dexter repeated.

“I love you too, Dexter.” William replied, scratching under his chin.

A little bit later, Dexter managed to learn a few new sounds! The latest sound was like a snoring sound...Almost, to the point where Elizabeth wondered if Dexter had learned William’s snoring sound. But, William mentioned how short the sound was. Therefore: it couldn’t have been his snoring sound.

Things finally clicked when some of the family members started laughing together. Picking up on the social signal, Dexter started laughing in his witchy laugh as well! Usually in the middle of the laughing, Michael’s signature snorting would show up. This would end up putting the family into hysterics all over again! And then the moment Dexter heard that, he started making the short snore sound! Suddenly, everything made sense!

Michael covered his mouth in horror! “Oh no!” Michael whined. “He learned my snort!” Michael exclaimed. William and the family LOST it after that! Michael was absolutely embarrassed! Now whenever Dexter would laugh, he could snort exactly like Michael would in between laughs!

Speaking of Michael embarrassed, Dexter quickly learned that he could get the best reactions to his teasing out of Michael! Dexter would hang out on his shoulder and either just sit there and watch Micheal do homework, or he would talk to him in his own little way.

“Math time!” Dexter declared.

Michael laughed. “Dexter, this is english!” He reacted.

“Hi Michael!” Dexter greeted.

“Hi Dexter.” Michael replied, petting his head.

Dexter jumped down off his shoulder and stood on the corner of the table. Dexter bobbed his head down and lifted it back up. “Peekaboo!” Dexter declared.

“Not now. I’m busy.” Michael told him.

Dexter let out a chirp. “Time for work!” Dexter said.

“Yyyup. Time for homework.” Michael told him.

“Pleeeeaaaase?” Dexter asked, imitating Elizabeth’s whiny begs.

Michael chuckled. “Please what?” he asked.

“Math time!” Dexter repeated.

“This is english. No math time. I did my math already.” Michael told him.

Dexter hopped up to Michael’s cheek, pecked it with his beak and made a kissy noise. “I Love you!” Dexter said to him.

Michael smiled. “I love you too, Dexter.” He replied.

Dexter repeated his kiss. “I love you too!” Dexter repeated.

Michael started to blush a little. “I know you love me.” Michael replied.

Dexter gave him another cheek kiss. “Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter teased.

Michael whined and dropped his head into his writing arm. “Ihihi cahahan’t fohohocus!” Michael whined. Dexter let out a little laugh and a snort. That just made Michael’s face turn even more red. “Stahahap repeating my snort! I know it’s stupid! I don’t need a living record player repeating that for me!” Michael whined.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter repeated.

Michael whined again and pushed him a little with his finger. “Staaahahap.” Michael whined.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter said yet again.

“Moooom, Dexter’s teasing meee!” Michael whined.

William chuckled from the other room. “Can’t handle the coochycoochycoo’s?” William asked, walking out to the kitchen.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter repeated.

“Dehehexteher, I swehehear!” Michael whined in slight agitation.

“Awww! Micey’s getting all flustered now!” William teased, walking up beside his son.

“NOhoho, Dahahad, don’t you dahahare!” Michael warned. “Ihihi’ll gehet you back!” Michael threatened.

“No you won’t.” William replied back. “Not if Dexter keeps up the teases.” William added as he started squeezing his sides.

“HEHEHEHAhahahaha! Dahahad nohohohoho!” Michael laughed, wrapping his arms around his sides and wiggling around in his seat.

“I think what you’re trying to say, is Dad YES!” William replied as he wiggled a finger in his belly button.

“NohohOHOHOHO! NAHAT MYHYHY BEHEHELLY BUHUHUTTOHOHON!” Michael shouted.

“Coochycoochycoo! Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter was repeating to Michael.

“Yeah, you tell him, Dexter. Coochy coochy coo! A coochy coochy coo!” William teased further.

“Coochycoochycoo!” Dexter repeated.

“STAHAHAP IHIHIHIT BOHOHOTH OHOF YOHOHOHOU!” Michael begged.

To make matters worse, William had grabbed Dexter and placed him on the top back of the chair. “There! Get his ear, Dexter! Tickle his ear!” William encouraged while holding his son back against the chair so he couldn’t move forward. Dexter started pecking at his ear and his neck, making Michael squeak and shake his head around.

“NOhohohoho! Stahahahap ihihihit Dehehexteheher!” Michael begged.

In reaction, Dexter laughed and imitated his snort. Hearing Dexter be such a teasy nut, made William laugh like there was no tomorrow.

“Hi Michael!” Dexter greeted.

“Stahahap tihihicklihing mehehe! Ihihihi hahahave hohohomewohohork!” Michael giggled at them both.

Dexter suddenly grew distracted. “Math time!” Dexter said.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” William said to Dexter.

“Ahagain, it’s ENGLISH!” Michael yelled at Dexter, getting right into his face.

Michael stared at Dexter with intense eyes. Dexter tilted his head to the side slightly, before leaning in…

“Mwah! Kisses!” Dexter declared. “I love you!” Dexter repeated.

Michael whined and smacked his head against the desk in defeat, while William just laughed at them.

One time, Henry had been visiting. Dexter had grown to LOVE Dexter, and surprisingly, vice versa as well! Dexter started adding the name ‘Henry’ to his vocabulary.

“Henry!” Dexter said, flying to the man and standing on his head. “Hi Henry!” Dexter greeted.

Henry laughed a little and tried not to move his head very much. “Hi Dexter!” Henry greeted back. William tapped onto the stair rack to show Dexter where to go. Catching onto the signal, Dexter flew there. “Okay. Come here, Dexter!” Henry encouraged the bird by showing his somewhat curled hand to land on. Without a second thought, Dexter flew to Henry and landed on his finger. “Hi little nerd!” Henry greeted, scratching under his chin.

“Hi Henry!” Dexter greeted.

“Awww...Of course you’re choosing the guest over us.” William complained a little.

“A little jealous?” Henry joked.

“No way, me?! Naaah.” William replied, keeping a confident front.

Henry laughed and allowed the kids to overwhelm him.

“Hi Uncle Henry!” Elizabeth greeted.

“Uncle Henryyyy!” Chris yelled.

“Hi Lizzie! Hi Chris!” Henry greeted.

“Come play with us!” Chris begged.

“Yeah! We’re playing tea party!” Elizabeth told him.

“No we’re not! We’re playing cowboys!” Chris whined.

“Tea Party!” Elizabeth fought.

“Cowboys! And Henry can be the horse!” Chris declared.

William widened his eyes. “Now wait a se-”

“Henry might not wanna be the horse!” Elizabeth interrupted. William waved his hand to Elizabeth, showing Chris she’s right. “You need to ask him first before you jump onto his back!” Elizabeth told Chris, recalling the same situation from when she was younger.

Chris turned to Henry with his famous puppy eyes. “Henry? Do you wanna be the horse?” Chris asked.

Henry giggled and shook his head. “I’d love to!” Henry replied.

William sighed and let a small smile grow onto his face. “How are you so patient with them?” William asked as he followed a child-surrounded Henry to the living room.

“I don’t know. I guess it’s just who I am.” Henry replied as he went into the crawling position. “Now, no kicking. Okay? Don’t kick me to get me to go, use your words.” Henry warned before he started playing the horse.

“Go horsey go!” Chris declared excitedly. Henry started crawling on his request. As he was crawling around and being the horse, Dexter flew to Elizabeth’s hand.

“MOOO!” Dexter declared.

Elizabeth turned her head to Dexter in pure confusion. “Whaaaaa?”

William bursted out laughing and doubled over, while Henry hung his head and giggled. “Thahat’s not the sound a horse makes, Dexter.” Henry told him.

Suddenly, Dexter made a car alarm sound! Henry lifted an eyebrow and looked up at William. William’s laughter had stopped, and he was now hiding his face in his hands. “I set off the car alarm one time...and Dexter catches on and starts imitating the sound.” William admitted.

“Wow! This bird’s amazing! He’s smart, yet dumb all at once!” Henry reacted.

William chuckled as Dexter flew up to him on the couch armrest. “Hi Dexter.” William greeted.

“Hi Dexter!” Dexter repeated.

“Mm hmm...That’s what I said.” William told him.

“Pleeeeaaaase?” Dexter asked.

“Please what?” William asked.

“Math time!” Dexter replied.

“Math is boring.” William told him.

“Pleeeeaaaase?” Dexter pleaded.

“No math. No homework. It’s playtime.” William told Dexter.

“Mooo!” Dexter shouted.

“That’s not a cow. That’s a horse.” William told Dexter, pointing to Henry.

“Hi Henry!” Dexter said.

Henry chuckled and shook his head as he made a neighing sound.

“Hi Michael!” Dexter greeted.

The kids laughed at that. “Henry’s not Michael!” Elizabeth reacted.

William sighed and rubbed his nose. “Michael’s not even here right now.”

“Hi Michael!” Dexter repeated.

“Michael is gone.” William told him.

“Hi Michael!” Dexter repeated again.

“Dexter. Mike, is NOT, HERE.” William repeated, getting close to his face.

Dexter stared at William for a moment. “Coochycoochycoo!”

“Oh. Now you’re teasing me. Newsflash: teasing doesn’t work on me.” William told him.

“Time for work!” Dexter declared.

“I’m done work, Dexter.” William told him.

“Peekaboo!” Dexter declared.

“No.” William said back, growing visibly angry.

Dexter bobbed his head down and rose it back up. “Peekaboo!” Dexter declared.

“No peekaboo.” William told him.

Suddenly, Dexter squawked and opened his wings to him! William actually jumped and yelped! But that just ended up making William frown even more. William waved his hand towards Dexter to get him off. “Get outta here.” William ordered.

“No.” Dexter said back.

Elizabeth’s eyes widened as she looked to Chris with worry. “Uh oh…” Chris muttered to her.

“Leave. Me. Alone. Bird.” William warned.

“I’m Dexter!” Dexter greeted as if he was introducing himself to William for the first time.

Finally, William flicked Dexter’s chest and knocked him onto the floor. “Dad! Be nice!” Elizabeth yelled at him. “He doesn’t know much better.” Elizabeth told him as he tried to take Dexter away. But Dexter refused to go down without another fight. He flew up to the armrest and squawked at him again. William flinched a bit, and…

...smirked?

William leaned in towards the parrot. “How would you like to be cooked?” William asked.

Henry dropped his jaw. “WILLIAM!” He shouted.

“Time to eat!” Dexter replied.

“Oooh yes, time to eat...You.” William said with an eeeeevil grin.

“Seeds please!” Dexter asked.

“Oh? You want some sunflower seeds surrounding your roasted body? Oohoho…” William leaned back and placed his index fingers onto his lips. “That can be arranged.”

“Daddy! Stop it!” Elizabeth yelled.

“What? Worried I’m gonna fight him? Tie him down? Cover him in oil?” William asked her.

Elizabeth whined and threw a pillow at him. “It’s not funny!” Elizabeth yelled to him.

“Food time!” Dexter said happily.

“See? He wants to become food!” William told her, pointing to Dexter.

“No he doesn’t! He wants to EAT food! Not BECOME food!” Elizabeth told him.

“Why are we even JOKING about this, Will?!” Henry asked him.

“Fight me!” Dexter yelled at him.

Suddenly, everything stopped. Both kids were staring at the parrot with big smiles on their faces. Henry was smirking and ready to cheer the bird on, while William looked awestruck by Dexter’s sudden ability to stand up to himself. “What did you just say?” William asked him, dumbfounded.

Dexter jumped at William again. “Fight me! Fight me!” Dexter yelled at him.

Elizabeth bursted out laughing and rolled all across the floor. Even Henry was laughing a little. “He’s getting smart, even for a parrot! You’d better be careful, William. He’s reaching droid-levels of intelligence.” Henry warned with a smirk.

“You want me to fight you?” William asked.

“Fight me! Fight me! Fight me!” Dexter repeated, jumping around.

“You wanna fight me? I could easily end you.” William reacted.

Finally, Henry grabbed William’s foot. “Aaaaalright, that’s enough.” Henry told him as he pulled him right off the sofa and flopped him onto the ground.

“HEY! What was that for?!” He yelled.

Henry laughed. “You’re threatening the bird a liiiittle too much. You need to cool it.” Henry told him. “Kids? What do ya say we tickle pile him?” Henry suggested.

“YES!” They both declared excitedly.

William’s eyes widened in fear and horror. “Wait, WHAT?! No, no no no HOLD ON-”

Elizabeth and Chris puppy-piled their father while Henry went for William’s feet. “Does Willy Wonka have ticklish walkers?” Henry asked, skittering his fingers on both of his arches.

“NOHOHOHOHAHAHA! GUHUHUHUHYS!” William yelled, falling into a laughing fit. Elizabeth started raspberrying his belly, making up for all the raspberries he’s blown onto her. “WAHAHAHAIT! EHEHELIHIHIZABEHEHEHETH!” William shouted. “NOHOHOHOHOHO RAHAHAHASPBEHEHEHERRIHIHIES!” William begged.

“But Daddy needs ALL the raspberries!” Elizabeth told him right back.

“Yeeeaaah! And Daddy also needs his speeecial ribby spiders!” Henry declared, skittering his fingers up and down his ribs like spiders.

“NOHOHOHOHO GAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” William’s laughter quickly went silent as he rolled himself onto his stomach.

Henry quickly retreated his fingers and laid down beside him. “You okay? You calm now? You done threatening Dexter?” Henry asked.

“Nope!” William started squeezing Henry’s side and got up to keep tickle attacking him.

“Whahahat thehehe- HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! WIHIHIHILLIAHAHAHAM NOHOHOHO!” Henry yelled, laughing and wiggling around under him.

“I think the right answer is, William yes.” William replied proudly before blowing a raspberry onto his side.

“YYYAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! STAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Henry shrieked in pure surprise. Henry continued to fall into the rabbit hole of endless hysterics! And to make things even funnier…

“YYYAAAAAAAAAA!”

...Looks like Dexter added yet another sound to his vocabulary.

Notes of an Irken Archeologist pt. 11

Another shocking discovery, on the wild ride that is getting to know Earth and its apparently future conquerer.

Vortians.

There are three, young vortians in the burrow.

Yaay, my notes are getting even more incohesive.

I wasn't really supposed to go into the burrow, but I was alone at the base at the time and one of them just... Came out. And then he was like "We hijacked your base, you can't stop uuuus," and I was stumped, just sitting by the table, with my jaw on the floor and then he suddenly completely changed his tone, saying that he doesn't recognize me and asking how I know 'uncle Zim', and I'd just laugh hysterically through answering his questions. He then brought me down to the burrow to show me how amazing are his hacking skills. And there were two more of them. And I had no idea what to do. I managed to excuse myself and called Zim, but he wouldn't answer. Then Computer actually spoke to me, that the Vortians are officially hostages, but they mostly do what they want.

I ended up having to help Computer to get some of its controls back, but the 'hostages' were quite happy just getting noticed.

Everything is so wrong around here.

And I'm still at a loss as to how to continue my research. I'm being pulled in so many directions, Zim actually started to ask for my assistance in things that never end well, I keep being worried about Dib, now also the vortian children, I can't focus...

I need to find an excuse to be out of this house more often.

"Get a job," Zim's computer tells me.

After a short awkward conversation it turns out that the House knows literally everything that happens inside it, which I should have figured so I'm gonna finish the note for now and... get a job I guess? Anything to get me out of this slump. Gir is screaming something about waffles again. When did he come home, oh Irk.

Jeon Jungkook is in love with Park Jimin. Period. If you have doubts, take my word for it. That man heard a bell ring and he's been following that jingle sound till thy kingdom come. Bless him.

No, I am not off track. We are still on the Jikook breakup/fights 2020 train and it's express. Beep beeeeep! Sorry.

Jk loves Jimin and it is the cause of all his woes- with Jimin as well as with the other bandmates. His problem is he loves that man- too much.

Yes, the 2019 November-December tensions with his bandmates was all because he keeps blurring the lines between his relationship and his career. He is lucky, both of them are lucky that they found eachother in a space like this where they have the opportunity to love and still have it all. Trust me, it's rare.

Except JK didn't join BTS to pursue a career. Bless him. He went there to harvest him some sweet love. Lol. Jokes aside, Jk when he started out had no goals, no ambitions whatsoever. He was young. He was just following the path set out for him by his parents perhaps, his teachers- and also he thought Namjoon's thighs were hella delicious. Lol

He has had to grow to love and appreciate his craft and career just as he's said in the recent Japan comeback interviews. He even almost quit singing to go be a dancer and all it took was Jimin telling him he had an amazing voice for him to stay- the power of park Jimin!

That's how young and naive he was when he began his career path. Let's get a bit deep and psychoanalyze him real quick. He made an entire life decision to join a boyband for seven years not because he loved to sing and dance but because he admired the zeal od RM?

Then when layer he was exposed to dance, and had to make an equally important life decision, he allowed another bandmate(Jimin) to make that decision for him. This should tell you the state of his mind as at the time. He was young and impressionable with no aspirations of his own.

Even as of 2019, he said he had no idea what he was going to do with his life after BTS had the band disbanded in 2018. That's a lot of experience span to not know what he wants to do with his life.

Now I don't mean to say he is immature but we all know the members especially Jimin have pointed out time and again that JK is in fact immature or can be.....

He seems to me as the type who still have a lot to figure out and per his recent interviews where he's talked about taking time to himself to work on himself and his hobbies etc. I have a feeling 2020 has been a period of awakening for him. A period where he is self actualizing a lot and I'm happy for him.

But it is what is causing this age of enlightenment in his life that has me curious.

Moving on, this young, naive, impressionable JK as he was in the early days of BTS started developed feelings for his hyung. Do you see the problem? I'll wait....

These feelings, I assume, began as pure admiration and fondness of Jimin. Jimin was this talented and hardworking, spontaneous, energetic hyung and JK with an impressionable mind as his was was bedazzled by him.

Soon these feelings would morph into what could be seen as an obsession, infatuation and then finally love.

The way I see it, loving Jimin gave him purpose for the first time in his young life. He may not have known much about his life goals and ambitions but he knew being with Jimin gave him a solid ground to stand on, a new sense of direction, certainty and purpose.

He got to share in Jimin's passions, share his with him, dance together, sing, practice, rehearse, make him the subject of his photography, the subject of his attention, care for him, be cared for by him- something he hadn't had the chance to experience from home before he was yanked away into idol life.

Growing up, we all experience that moment where we imprint on friends and relatives. My uncle was my mentor as well as my elder brother too. I admired them so much I sometimes confused that with romantic love till I got socialized properly.

Jk's socialization was.... He....

-Jk may be an introvert but he thrives and shines best when he partners up or is in a group like BTS or his friends group etc and Jimin i feel was the ideal partner for him; his queerness, his adventurousness, pushing JK's boundaries, challenging his beliefs, showing him how to have a good time- ok I really want this Jimin back! Like right now!

Jimin left an impression on JK's young mind. He imprinted on him. And for the longest time, we've seen the way he stares at Jimin.JK really loves Jimin.

So what's the problem?? Loving JM is consuming his mind y'all. It's all he thinks off. All he cares of. He seems super hyper focused on Jimin so much so that it is affecting the dynamics of their group.

His jealousy,possessiveness- He knows he has to keep his relationship a secret for the sake of the group because it is their secret too and yet he just can't help himself.

I feel RM and the others complain a lot about how he let's his jealousy get the best of him. Like how he almost exposed JM as his boyfriend on several occasions verbally( see previous post for further details)

Like how him getting jealous and possessive gives them away more often. I mean JM is bad at hiding it too but let's be honest JK isn't winning any awards with that bad acting. *sigh. He is hopeless.

But yes this is what led to the MMA standoff with RM. It is also the reason for the tensions between Jikook during Jin's birthday VLive (JM asked him to keep his distance because the members had tried to separate them earlier and so JM was just being salty af during this period. It had nothing to do with JK but the others. See Golden Disc and you'll understand)

This also led to their subsequent break up( which you will notice during the comeback interviews and promotions periods- I don't know about you but they were giving off two exes tryna to keep it happy for the cameras during that period but failed cos their interaction were just....)

PS: there are a lot of moments I want to point out but don't know where to begin cos there are a lot.

The blackswan behind scenes moments( JM asking JK if he he wanted to be in a subunit with someone else, JM making JK jealous during the interviews, JK using Tae to make JM jealous the next day, JK holding JMs hands not wanting to let go- he was missing his ex. Lol it's what you do when you have to be friends with that ex you still love and won't hesitate to touch them given the slightest opportunity and once you do you don'twanna let go)

Just look at that whole On comeback promotion moments. You'll understand what I mean.

Also the Run episode moments- you know the one JK almost beat Suga up with the frying pan- JM for this phase seemed to be to be trying to get back together with JK. Dude was clingy as fuck! And for once he was on his best behaviour, trying his hardest not to make JK jealous. I mean the Run behind scenes moment where JM was helping Tae clean off food residue on his mouth but stopped immediately when JK lifted his head. *insert skull head emoji. Lol

To say JM was a bit clingy during this getting back together phase would be an understatement. Remember his clingy moments during Suga's birthday Vlive 2020? And during Festa too? He was trying to get JK's attention and also impress him throughout.

Around this breakup moment too was when he was spending a lot of time with Tae playing video games with Army, posting their selfies at 4 AM and what not. It is also the same period he posted a picture of himself with his dogs on Twitter and said he was trying to spend time with loved ones- if that wasn't shade to JK!

They couldn't post 13th May because of these issues they were having. Not that JM didn't try though. He posted on the 1st, JK should have followed with 3rd but did was busy pouting somewhere. JM still gave us a 5/8=13 selca though so yaay!

What I'm trying to say is, their fight has been about JK not wanting to be separated from JM and JM asking JK to cool it off for a while to not cause trouble with the members and the company.

To which Jk responds with:

1. Interrupting JM's call with Jin during his VLive to ask him on a date and say I love you to him. Dude is a rebel, I don't know what you want me to say. He is not gonna cool it just because it makes the other worried he is exposing them too much.

Jk interrupting JMs live I feel got Jikook in trouble because after that Vlive JM never did a solo live on VLive again to this day. His subsequent lives have all been on YouTube.

I have a feeling he was penalized because that VLive exposed them. And no, I'm not being delusional. Jikook were both banned from doing a VLive together alone following their New Jersey VLIVE in 2019 when they- I don't even know how to describe what they did in that live!

And to make it less obvious, I think BigHit decided the others should stop doing solo Vlives on VLive altogether because now they all do their solo lives on YouTube as well and if they have to do a Vlive it is heavily monitored by BigHit staff or its radio and not done in their rooms too.

So I think Jimin got pissed at JK for doing that and getting them in trouble again. I mean if you heard him sigh during the new Jersey VLive you would know how frustrated JK makes him. He loves him too but.... Jk can be a bit too much ya know?!

Anyhoo, so I believe JM called for some space and told JK to take up interests in other things beside him and I don't know how JK took it but he responded with this:

Posting the cover of the song Not Never. Which was him basically saying for as long as he lives he will not never think about JM. As in he is never not ever keeping away from JM. We might have to pry Jimin from his cold hands! *sigh

Which leads to the radio Vlives moments,

Something Jimin said during his interview with suga caught my attention. He said it was nice that they get to speak with Armies at least like this. I believe all these were putting a lot of stress on Jimin as he has decided to take a break off social media prior to him saying so on this interview. But the wording of that statement also made be believe some thing or someone was preventing him from talking to Armies in the usual manner.

Earlier with RM he had said how he would go crazy if they weren't allowed to do certain things he was used to doing on stage as well. So that also raised a flag to me.

I had a feeling Suga had invited JM on that Radio live to address his 'issues'- including his issues with JK. Jikook have a subtle way of communicating with each other and somehow social media has a huge part in that. They not the only ones, Beyonce and JayZ also addressed their relationship issues through their music, going back and forth yet they lived together. I DONT UNDERSTAND THESE CELEBRITIES!!!

Sorry for the rant. Anyway I had a feeling JK was listening to the radio interview too.

Suga asked JM why he didn't come to his music video set to support him- which I believe he was referring to his Daechwita shoot. JM didn't go because, take a guess...

JK was there too. Lol. He had gone with Jin and even ended up filming a part in the music video. My guess is Jk thought Jimin was gonna be there because he always go to Support Suga and the others in times like that.

So Jimin responds with 'were you expecting me? .... I didn't come because I want you to want me more.' Now that's an absolutely random response don't you think? He couldhave said something logical like he had to record at a studio or something- unless he wasn't talking about Suga but was sending that message to someone else who was listening in. A certain man with a JM tatto ring on his ring finger perhaps??

JM from this response revealed he intentionally missed that shoot. He knew JK would be there and he wanted him to ask where JM was at it he wasn't at the shoot. It's also interesting how during this period JK was spending a lot of time with Jin. When he interrupted JM's Vlive call he was with Jin. He went with Jin to Suga's MV and Jin posted a selca of him and shirtless Jk dieimh this period too while JM was mostly seen with Tae. What does this remind you of??

MANILA. same thing happened when they had that Manila fight. Jin was with JM and we all know who was siding with JK!

Why would JM say he wants to be enacted more? Easy- He a slytherin and a Libra and those two mixed together is sinister. Kidding.

I believe JK intentionally took a step back from JM, to give him the space he wanted and it had JM feeling someway about it. Probably had him feeling JK didn't want him as much anymore. Dude is insecure we been known. He a Libra and a slytherin what y'all expect?

So I'm guessing JM put up the classic textbook attitude towards JK which had JK all confused because he had no idea what their issues were anymore or why his boyfriend was spending his nights at Tae. You want space, you got it. Why you mad?

So JK reaches out to Suga for help. because the intention was fix his relationship not have it plummet. Dude is in love with this man and will do whatever it takes to keep his relationship. *Sigh

Suga comes through for him with the interview. And I think JK put two and two together- literally. He comes up with still with you a few days after JM's interview and does a radio interview with Suga as well.

Now the focus of this interview was his "apology to Armies for his scandal.' But funny, cos his scandal happened a month before the interview. Suga radio had been ongoing after the scandal and yet this man didn't think once to come on it and apologize to Armies about an incident that BigHit had already addressed until JMs interview.

You don't talk about scandals. That's the protocol.

Let me also point out JK has had several scandals in the past of which he had never addressed in a Vlive let alone apologize in that way. Not saying he wouldn't, he hasn't. They themselves don't address scandals unofficially, that's the protocol and he knows it.

If they were allowed to think Armies would be more interested in him addressing the Tatoo gurl scandal not his Friday night happy hours with his friends. That apology was for Jimin not armies.

Also, he pointed out how still with you was written when he was alone in the dark thinking by himself. That sounds to me like something you do when you've had a fight with your boyfriend/girlfriend and they've packed their things and left your shared apartment.

Interestingly, Jk mentioned during Festa the rain fight. Still with you literally has rain drops sounds in the beginning of the song and also on the cover on sound cloud. Seems to me that whatever happened that night had JK reminiscing about times he'd fought with JM- the rain fight. Which is what inspired still with you (I will do a full analysis of that song and others soon here on my blog'

Yea, so he apologized to JM for their fight I guess and said he loves Army. *smirk.

And things started falling into place right after that. They started- Jikooking again. Jk called JM out on Weverse so they start their online flirting thingy- posting immediately after each other, 13, those kinda things

Things seemed good. Untill their Japan interviews when JK said spending time alone pursuing new hobbies was gold to him and JM saying maintaining his relationships with friends and family is good to him. Seems JK is still salty about JM wanting space. It will take sometime for him to get used to not being around JM 24/7. Know what I mean?

I don't think there was major tension there. Just two lovebirds shading eachother. *smirk I mean the passive aggressiveness of it all. Lol

I have a feeling JK will keep jabbing at JM with that because let's face it, he is the emo one in that relationship and most importantly he loves JM with all his being and wants to be with him always. A partner asking for space can feel like they are pushing you away or rejecting you. It triggers a lot of insecurities so I understand JK in that sense. They are both not wrong in my opinion. Space can be a good thing and hey at least JK got to read a whole book during this time! Who woulda thought!

And quiet honestly, if Jikook are real as I believe they are then these issues they are having pales in comparison to the hurdles that lie ahead of them for when they decide to come out or live as a forever couple.

I guess It is why JK put these lyrics in GCF Helsinki at JMs part:

I guess it's sums up what Jikook were dealing with during that period of you take into consideration the fact this was released end of December/ early 2020.

Jimin pays too much attention to what people thinks of their relationship as if he didn't know what he was getting himself into. ...

So what is the state of their relationship? They good. I been told y'all JK is trying to bring back their old online filtering habits. He did it on Weverse when he posted about him reading and asking what JM was doing forcing JM to come out with a response.

He did the same yesterday when he posted a cover song after JM posted his selca on Twitter. They good. They more than good I believe. I will keep observing and will update y'all with my observations as and when.

[So I just got inspired by a conversation I had with @silver-wield about this Cloud&Tifa video below I blogged 2 days ago already, how deep Cloti's connection really is displayed, and how watching it made me feel even more convinced that we totally get endgame feels for them in these various scenes comprised. The video just shows canon material and uses only original dialogue. It made me wonder if the same feelings would be evoked by a video of Cloud and Aeriths Scenes and dialogues.]

Besides English isn't my first language, please overlook grammar and spelling mistakes. I'm sorry it there are too many.

There are many opinions who belongs with whom.

Many people who covered this also and I love and respect most of their analyses on it. Not even sure if I added anything new but here are my thoughts on Clerith endgame qualities (& a bit Cloti).

I like Aerith and she is very important. I just don’t see her as the intended endgame partner for Cloud.

This is all an opinion in the end:

Don't get me wrong this relationship is heavy with feelings as well. But it's no endgame. Cloud and Tifa belong; for various reasons we all discuss daily ;). Clearith's core story is heartwarming and heartbreaking all at once. For me it's a tragic relationship on both sides.

Aerith sees a familiarity in Cloud, something reminding her of, & letting her hope for better days. She sees a strong person who resembles Zack so much. He is handsome and his eyes have the same quality.

She desperately wants to belong (like all of our 3 heroes) because she was alone most of her time. Zack was her first love and a friend. But he is gone. She is heartbroken. Even though she is beloved in the slums by many and has Elmyra, she still feels alone. Zack was someone she confided in. She can't tell anyone the extend of these feelings. Not in the beginning. Always trying to cover up with that flirty cheery attitude. She wants to move on...that much she has uttered to Cloud...but saying and going through such a loss actually are two different things. In OG it was more ambiguous and Aerith was much more determined on Cloud.

Remake gives us (or me)much more clarity. She seems to be aware that it all is flawed..her feelings ..his feelings. (I suppose she even was able to feel that something happened to Zack since she has a connection to the life stream. And it is heartbreaking.) While in OG that was not prominent. You can tell how much she likes Cloud still in the Remake ...but also how much she knows she doesn't belong with him. When she sees the flower in Tifa's Bar, when she sees Cloud and Tifa interact.. when she asks Cloud about Zack indirectly.

Clerith to me is like 'could have/ would have' all the time. If she wouldn't die. If Zack was still alive.. if Cloud actually would be able to connect the dots of Zack being her first love.. if Cloud regaining a glimpse of his past wasn't blocked by the barrier of his fake persona so often, always interrupting progress of remembering Zack, of remembering what happened. Would it be Clerith?

It more seems like in the Remake she is aware now (due to parallel time lines/timetravel...whatever) that her part in this story is not that of Clouds love interest. That's why we get that resolution scene with her. It is scripted that way for a reason. As well as the part where she spots the flower or tells Tifa to follow her heart at the pillar.

Maybe there is a wish in her to be with Cloud if only the circumstances were different. But they aren't and she is no egotistical monster bitch. She kind of backs away. And I love that the devs made me lean to believe this.

Cloud on the other hand also lacks/ misses out on many things:

5 years of his live, his home his family. He lived through torture if barely and severe trauma. He put up a fake persona to shield him from all this grief. He made himself that numb, that he rarely connects to any strong feelings a person would have usually.

Like people on anti depressants. Numb to the very high and the very low array. Just being indifferent. We meet him like that in the beginning of OG/R. When he meets Aerith in chapter 8 he already started to open up a bit to the Trio and Tifa, Marle and others. Meeting Tifa opened the Door. She is essentially his drive to move on ever since their childhood, same this time. But Tifa is more subtle in her approach. Her personality is warm and grounded, but she respects that Clouds needs space and is treading lightly, cautious because she seems to feel he is different than in their childhood. We get that in the rescue Johnny scene f.ex..

Aerith's overwhelmingly positive, coaxing personality contrasts this but also opens this crack in the door even wider. Like I said she is important. He is affected, he feels drawn to it/her.I am convinced he is, because he has no association with her. No past. It is light and bright and also not real. She, trying to overcompansate her sadness. Him, rarely being able to connect to his true self and feelings. He is unaware, she is though to a certain extend (like I mentioned above ) is aware.

His attraction also is spurred on because she is more fragile (Than Tifa and others)..he wants to protect. He is loyal. He wants to be strong and he wants to be acknowledged. Aerith asks for help, is clumsy and looks even helpless sometimes( Walk from the church over the roof tops f. ex.). I don’t say she is weak but her asking for help, he feels like he really is that persona he created for himself. And such feelings can turn into love quite easily. But these feelings to be as good as a Soldier 1st class, to protect and be the hero root in his true self's desire to be all that for Tifa. We can’t discard this either. He also helps Avalanche because Tifa asked.

So again..a pinch of could have/would have..it's heartbreaking.

And in the end it's a dead end for Clerith. Not only because she dies. But because he regains access to his true feelings again (lifestream scene)..and they are with Tifa.

Man~even while he has no access to them he is like a hen around its chick with Tifa.😊 Touching, watching, eye contact all the time (just watch this posts video below).

If anything, Aeriths death brought him further away from being with Tifa completely because he feels he failed yet another important person. A person he even might have loved because she was a friend. He hates this feeling and he blames himself for all the deaths, especially Aerith's. And he is so afraid to lose Tifa like that as well. That's why he keeps his distance later especially in Advent Children. Even though we have the Night under the High Wind.

Because if losing a person like Aerith, yes all lovely and sweet and bright and a friend, but if losing a person after several weeks, can do that to him, what would Tifas death do to him?

He doesn't want her, Marlene or Denzel to suffer if she sees that he has a supposedly terminal disease.

He doesn't trust himself to be really enough for her. He can't face her and leaves and has another episode of self isolation and self doubt. In his mind (?) he talks to Aerith ( and Zack is there as well,yaay) he seeks for forgiveness until he realizes he has to forgive himself first. Aerith and Zack reunited in the life stream, his friends, like his big brother and sister or like guardians watching over him, encouraging him as well to trust in himself the future and his loved ones. He sure loves Aerith, but it feels like a different kind of love from his love for Tifa. And this is fine. I would never say he doesn’t love Aerith. But it’s not in a romantic way. Maybe there was an attraction building when they met in sector 5, a curiosity. But for me his bond with Tifa overpowered this in various scenes before and after that section.

So Cloud leaves, nearly ghosting his family and Tifa, and as a fan of Cloti that was hard to watch, but seeing his reasons I came to accept and understand that he needed this.BIn the end yet again their bond is strong enough for pulling them back together again. He goes to stand with Tifa, his family his friends.

In the End Tifa welcomes him back and he finally starts to believe things will be better.

So for me there is no gravitational romantic pull between Aerith and Cloud but between Tifa and him.

This is a bit all over the place and I didn’t put in sources to prove my points because many others here in the fandom did in their analyses. I took a bit of additional intel from everyone's impressions and my own conclusions on the canon.
