Lyra grew up in a society where women basically had two jobs, to marry rich and to have sons. Which means lots if arranged marriages and so on. The common folk didn’t have to go through this process. Their ruling Empress, Empress Brietta-Marie III, was trying to change that and so Lyra’s generation was the last of the nobles, to face this fate.

Lyra was never interested in a romantic relationship with any of the noblemen in her town. However her and her family were good friends with the Chamberlins. A wealthy noble family. Their son, Antonio, was in fatuated with Lyra. However she didn’t recoup the same feelings, she figured marrying someone she did know was better than marrying someone she didn’t know.

So courting day arrives where all the noblewoman and men, meet and choose their partners. However Antionio didn’t show and Lyra was shamed. When Lyra confronted Antonio about his absence, he apologized and struck a deal.

Antonio would help her and her family gain their honor back if she would sleep with him. Lyra refused, and Antonio being a man who doesn’t like being refused...

He took advantage of her.

After this Antonio blackmails her with their affair. Telling her that if she doesn’t continue to sleep with him and please him, he will personally ruin her family’s honor further.

Lyra has no choice but to agree

2 months pass, and Lyra becomes fed up with herself and the life she is living....so in the dead of night she stowaways onto one of her father’s trading ships headed to Vesuvia, hoping to find her Aunt who is thought to be dead by everyone else in her family except for her father and her.

So yes, Lyra is a rape victim there you go, that’s partially the reason why she is so submissive and has never been aroused or in love before.

Species: Skeksis, Gelfling

Age: 1000 trine old

Mate: Dot’leth

Kids: Isaac, Iredessa

Iiki was a Skeksis who believed that everyone is equal. As punishment, SkekSo ordered his legs to be chopped off. SkekShod, feeling bad for him, volunteered him for the Avatar Experiment. When it was a success, SkekSo tried to get him to do his bidding, but after Iiki met Dot, he decided he was going to be a Gelfling for the rest of his life. After spending time with Dot, he proposed to her, she said yes. Months later, during the Stone-in-the-wood battle, the chamber that was holding Iiki’s body broke. Dot noticed this, and immediately went to go help him. After Iiki admitted his love for her, she saved him, and was able to transfer his essence into his Gelfling body permanently. They currently are now parents to Isaac, and little Iredessa. And are living their happiest together.

Thought I would show this off. Iiki’s bio, yes, he was a skeksis, but he’s now a Gelfling. (His situation is based off of Avatar)
