1 — i think he would definitely be a bard of some kind, and that's where his magic would stem from. i also think he would be a outcast just like in canon, and maybe one of the reasons are his magic or the way he practices it.

2 — i also think he'd have a history of returning from the dead. his reputation would precede him, some say he once saved an entire village and was assumed dead until he was seen near his cottage days later. he never reveals the truth about those rumors. undead bard? pact with a dark god? he has no idea what you're talking about.

3 — dustin would be his apprentice, for sure. a companion, if you will. he would be involved in whatever adventure eddie gets himself into.

4 — we all know eddie has a penchant for damsels in distress, i feel like that would also be true here. i see him being a sort of flynn ryder, a charming rogue who helps a princess, or a prince, through their hardship. that's not his calling in life, but he simply can't resist.

5 — still a storyteller too! it's part of being a bard, i guess. will entertain his travelling companions with tales and songs, and write his own along the way. i see him writing songs about princess!reader and acting like they're not about her when confronted about it :')
