This is madness. I am filled with rage. I cannot believe in 2024 that I am staring at these headlines. I am not American, but my heart hurts for its people.

Seeing the world shift more and more right in real time is not what I wanted or expected in life. I thought we were past that. That we were all going to work together to better each other's lives. But every day that goes by another bomb is dropped, another war starts, another law is passed to constrict people's rights, another fascist, homophobic, xenophobic or misogynistic comment is being broadcasted on live television. Maybe I live in a world of wishful thinking and fantasy, but I still choose to believe we can do better. Be better than this. But, right now, the words dread and hopelessness don't even begin to cover how I feel about the state of the world and where it's headed.

The news that I woke up to is so devastating. My heart is with all my American friends who are upset with the election results and are now fearful for their futures, their lives. I am heartbroken for you. I don’t know what else to say, because I really didn’t think this would be the outcome.

I know I’m not much, but I see you. I’m here for you. I’m so sorry that this is the position you’ve been put in.

CHAPTER 2 IS DONE!!!!

I’m a paragraph, maybe a paragraph and a half, from finishing CHAPTER 2 OF MY WIP!!!!!!!

The excitement is so real right now!! Is it any good? Tbh, I don’t fkn know. I just know that I am having SO MUCH fun writing this story!!

The characters have lived in my head since June? July? And the plot developed in my head over the months after until now… and I didn’t think I’d actually write it. I really wanted to, but I wasn’t sure.

AND HERE I AM ALMOST DONE CHAPTER 2!!!!

I AM SCREAMING!!!!!
