This small creature was wandering about on the promenade at Blackpool. Apart from knowing it is an invertebrate, I have no idea what it is.

I went out looking for bugs tonight. Didn't spend too long looking because my phone was low but i found 6 garden orb weavers and a cicada.

Hotophora are my second favourite spider genus but it can be very hard to tell the specific species. All of these could be Biapatica, Transmarina or Tatianae as far as i know.

their last name is quagcnidae, a merging of the prefix of 'quagmire' and the scientific word for jellyfish stingers!
