“How old were you when you first started writing fanfiction?”

@billowingangel: I first started writing fanfiction at 12. I think the first one I wrote was a SuFin fic. But I've been reading fanfiction since I was at least 8, found my first smut at that age too lol.

@chibidashie: i was 14 writing fanfiction on DeviantArt and it was all prototypes to much of my fic I currently write! If you knew me in my DeviantArt days you are braver than any US Marine

WhiteWings / @smuttyandabsurd: I was about 10 when I first discovered fanfiction, and I started writing and posting my own fics at 12. They were adventure type fics, typically starring OCs or genderbent versions of canon characters (idk why I was obsessed with writing "the girl version" of everyone back then lol) […] My first Hetalia fic was written when I was 18 and I've been stuck in Hetalia purgatory ever since (I'm 33 now) 🙂

Lacy: i only started writing fanfic when im 21 😂, was interested in reading fanfic at 21 as well and its all because of rochu, (also became a fujoshi because of rochu 🌚). prior to that the closest i was to fanfic was reading rpf of reader x band members a few times when im 14-16 🙃

Tama / @delgumofics: My first fic was an Inuyasha joke fic so I had to have been around 12. I'd written fiction before that but never fanfic. I wrote a couple chapters of an inukag fic after that, then I got bit by the Invader Zim fandom bug so I started focusing exclusively on weird alien erotica.

Yukihitomi / @arthurhonda: I think I was 14 when I first published fanfic. Pretty sure it was for Inuyasha, but it might have been something like Yugioh or Bakugan. I started out with reader x character fanfic.

Wasps / @petiolata: I was 13 or 14 when I started writing fic. I never enjoyed the process much as a teen, I just liked writing funny fics for my friends to make them laugh. And taking part in fanfic events with them. So I guess I started writing fanfic because "All the other kids were doing it!!!" Peer pressured into the fandom freak life 😔

Ciel / @torontofetish: I was twelve when I started writing, and by that time I had been (poorly) dabbling in writing for about four years. I basically jumped right in the second i discovered FFN. My first Hetalia fic was posted at age 14, but I only ended up writing a small handful of fics for the fandom and fell out of writing fic in general for a while until after I graduated high school and got a lot more serious about building my skills (which of course I now use exclusively to write yaoi porn).

I’ve been in a genderswap mood cuz I’ve been seeing some artwork of the IZ characters in opposite genders so I did my own spin on turning Zim and Dib into girls.

I wanted to change the vowels in their names from “I”s to “E”s cuz I find switching them a bit simple and creative rather than adding feminine endings such as “A”s or “Ettes”, reversing the spelling to Miz and Bid, or just keeping the original names.

I couldn’t stop picturing my fem Dib sounding like Meggy from SMG4 cuz her enthusiastic and determined personality fits Dib’s traits imo. For Fem Zim I imagine her sounding like Peridot from SU for obvious reasons.

I might draw more art of my girl designs when my inspiration for them sparks back up.

I don’t think I've posted this guy here, so I’ll do it now! Meet Zai, a character I first designed 5 years ago. 

I made him originally as a weird Invader Zim Oc, basically just a human with a Pak. 

Then I redesigned him later that year to be more human rather than a weird Invader Zim fan thing.

Then, I finally managed to get back into my Toyhou.se account and found him,  so I decided to redesign him again after 5 years. 

He’s always been my most popular OC, even when I redesigned him. I probably have more art of him than any other character. Since I love him so much I decided to share him on Tumblr 

There’s an explanation behind his outfit and that weird collar on his neck. If you want to know more about him or any of my OCs my Ask Box Is always open

I have never been big on genderbent Invader zim characters, but when I see bid (genderbent dib) I feel, I feel some sort of way.
