Her husband walked through the front door and as always, Kagome’s heart went pitter-patter in her chest and a gradual warmth spread throughout her entire body. She wondered if the effects this man had on her was ever going to wane, and as she watched him kicked off his boots, she fervently hoped that the never, ever would. Since day one he had utterly captivated her, drawing her in with that devastating smirk, those honey-golden eyes, and those thick, wonderful arms.

He caught her stare, grinned at her, and Kagome fought the sudden urge to fan herself. It was hot outside today, nearly one-hundred degrees, but despite the heat her wonderful, amazing, sexy as hell hanyou husband had unhesitantly subjected himself to the hot weather to change the oil in her car for her. He’d only been out there for twenty minutes but his skin glistened with a fine sheen of sweat.

Kagome bit her lip and shamelessly took him in as he stood there for a minute, letting their conditioned house cool him off a bit as he checked his phone. His t-shirt clung to his body like a second skin, the collar dampened from sweat. His jeans, torn and dirt-stained, hung low enough on his hips where the band to his boxer-briefs were visible.

She withheld a whine. It wasn’t fair how goddamn hot her husband was. She suddenly wondered if it was the temperature outside that had her so flushed, or the fine hanyou specimen currently using the bottom of his shirt to wipe his face of sweat, undoubtedly drawing her very appreciative gaze to his nicely toned stomach.

Kagome nearly groaned. Okay now that wasn’t fair. How dare he. It should be illegal with how hot he was.

Unaware that she was currently eyeing him like a tasty snack and she was very hungry, she said nothing as he crossed over to her and bent to press a kiss to her forehead before brushing by to go change in their bedroom.

Kagome thought for about half a second and abruptly followed him, reaching into her back pocket for her phone. She unabashedly stared at his ass and grinned to herself as she brought up a certain app on her mobile, the sudden urge too great to ignore. She brought up her favorite sounds, hit record…

“Name something you might hurt yourself riding on.”

Though she knew he knew she was following him, Inuyasha said nothing as he stepped into their room. She paused in the doorway but still he thought nothing of it as he moved to remove his sweat-dampened shirt.

He really should have known she was up to something.

“Oh lawd…you know what I’m thinkin’…?”

He tugged the shirt up and over his head and when he finally turned his attention toward his mischievous wife, his smirk was positively sinful.

“…like a river…shut your mouth baby stand and deliver—”

With a low, rumbling chuckle, Inuyasha dropped the shirt and fucking prowled toward her, eyes intent and that smirk not once leaving his face. Kagome’s grin was wide as she started backing up, still recording her sexy as sin husband. He reached out, covered her phone with his hand as he leaned down.

A very heated and sweaty thirty minutes later, Kagome posted the video while her hot hanyou husband showered and if you listen real closely, you can hear a low growl and soft, breathy laughter right before it ends.

So...the routine Trashahime analysis. Let's start with the things, that I liked at this episode.

1)

Delicious 😩☠️ I literally passed out.

2) Kirinmarus story and family was explained. Never thought, that he would have a daughter. (Let's hope the mother is not a minor). It was shown, how Riku was created and Rion is just cute af.

3) Do I have to point out the Inukago moment? Yes, I have. I've been waiting for this so long. It was short, but it was worth watching this shitty show. Like Inuyasha saying his baby girl grew up warmed my heart.

So, now the things, that I didn't like.

1) another irrelevant episode, that does noting for the plot.

2) the way they draw Rin. Seriously, that's not even funny anymore, it's just sad and disgusting. Even Setsuna thinks, her "mom" looks to young. So please.

And no. I will still not accept, that people say, that she is 18.

3) the story just continues for not making sense anymore. Why would Setsuna saver her mother? She never met her and even didn't recognized her either. My mom left me, when I was one, but I would still recognize her, because that's an instinct. There is no bound between them.

4) Why would Setsuna be able to take the spell away from Rin? In the episode with the cheap copy of Medusa, she was told, to NOT part the string of fate. Why all of sudden?

5) This sequel point out Sesshomarus family, even tho, Inuyasha has always been the main character? That's just so pathetic.

6) Let's compare Rins looks to Towa and Moroha (and Moroha even looks younger than the Twins)

The family reunion would be... interesting.

7) Sunrise, it's not to late to make Kagura the mother. If you wish for Rin to be the mother...Fine. I can't do a damn thing about it, but then stop drawing Towa like Kagura and Setsuna like Byakuya. It's not even normal how much these two look like Kagura and Byakuya.

Edit: Guess I’ll put this in here since everyone is just glossing it over to look for the negative parts. I never said you couldn’t ship SessRin. I never said I was anti-SessRin. I know I tagged it as such, but it isn’t because of my opinion. I have friends who ship SessRin. I love those friends. What I mean by these statements is that the community in general is toxic because of the people in it who have caused problems for others. Like, for example, the person who felt the need to jump me about my personal ship because it wasn’t with Rin when I wasn’t even talking about a ship. Or the people who harassed the English voice cast to the point that even they were calling the SessRin community toxic. Or the people who are fighting to have any Sesshoumaru shipping blog deleted if Rin isn’t involved. I am capable of peacefully sharing Sesshoumaru with other shippers if they could be civilized. But since they aren’t, then I feel like I have the right to speak my mind. And those of you who feel the need to fight me about it are just proving my point because you’re so worked up that anyone could have a different opinion that you absolutely have to argue. That being said, I also stated that I would never have said a word about this if it weren’t for the fact that Rin is underage in Yashahime. Sunrise is trying to lie about how much time passed. They clearly didn’t do their own math. And while I’m fine with SessRin shippers who ship her as an adult, I will not tolerate the people who justify her being underage in Yashahime. Also to those trying to argue about Yashahime being canon, I would love to provide the evidence to the statement I saw, but it’s gotten lost in the sea of people arguing about the show being canon. It was something along the lines of her saying the story wasn’t canon or wasn’t hers but the three girls were and that she was washing her hands of InuYasha and other’s could do what they wanted with it. Which kind of implies it’s not canon but she doesn’t care. If I find it again I will definitely share it. But if Rumiko steps up and actually says the show is canon, then I’ll accept it as canon. But that doesn’t mean I’m okay with Rin being underage. But go ahead and continue to comment with your ridiculous arguments. New edit: @tiny-foots​ It’s not what I saw but I was provided this where Rumiko stated InuYasha was complete within herself meaning the story was done. She left it up to Mr. Sumisawa to write. Take it as you will, but I see that as her giving the okay for a fanfic to be officiated. But I don’t see it as canon. I suppose that can be left up to interpretation. But my personal belief is that it’s not canon. Even before all this I never even saw the original anime as canon.

I am going to start off by saying that I always said I would never be anti-ship. But if this is what it's come to then I am completely against what is happening right now.

Let's just pretend my OTP isn't actually my OTP right now. What I ship has nothing to do with this. In fact I am a multi-shipper, so don't even think about that. This is beyond more than my personal shipping opinions. InuYasha was my comfort series during a very rough time and Sesshoumaru is my favorite character because of his massive character development and redemption arc. He is an astounding character.

The fact that Sunrise has "officially" (I refuse to say canon because it's not canon. Rumiko said so. Fight me!) paired him with Rin is the most disturbing and disgusting thing they could have possibly done. Again, I am not against people who do ship them. If that's what they enjoy then that's fine.

HOWEVER!

The SessRin community is toxic AF! They have been for a long time and now they've been given a reason to really be horrible people. And that's only one reason why I'm disgusted by this entire thing. And mind you, since Yashahime isn't canon anyway, I wouldn't have cared as much if they hadn't done it the way they had. Let me break this down for you. I'm going to list why SessRin is unhealthy, toxic, and morally wrong and I'll even list some of the justifying arguments shippers have tried to use to support it and explain why they're wrong too.

Pairing Sesshoumaru with Rin destroyed his character development and redemption.

Sesshoumaru's father had a strong desire to see his son learn compassion. Toward everyone! Humans and youkai alike. He learned that lesson through both a human and a youkai. Rin and Kagura. These were the characters who were meant to teach him to be compassionate toward others. By pairing him with Rin you have taken away that compassion that he learned. It's like sticking a giant middle finger up to all the humans he was supposed to learn to respect and say he only tolerates Rin and no one else. There goes his redemption! Way to go, Sunrise!

SessRin was never meant to become a thing.

Rumiko went out of her way to create a bond between Kagura and Sesshoumaru as well as Kohaku and Rin. It's clear who we were meant to ship them with. These characters were placed as a barrier between Rin and Sesshoumaru to avoid an improper ship. SessKagu is the ONLY canon Sesshoumaru ship.

No child in their right mind grows up to fall in love with the man who raised them from childhood.

And if they do then they need to seek counseling because that's not healthy. A normal child would grow up to view that man as her father.

And how about these lame and unjustifiable arguments that SessRinners are throwing out.

"He waited until she was an adult! She's 18!"

Do some research. She is not 18! Look at the the facts that have been compiled. She is 15 MAX. She's underage!

"This was normal back then!"

No it was not! Again, do your research! Nobility groomed children to be wives, yes, but it wasn't normal. Even then the girl wasn't bedded until she was an adult. Also, would you portray a black person, in media, as an abused slave in 1800s America by your story's "good guy" and say it's okay because it was normal back then?  I don't think so!

"They were meant to be together! It was a given! It was clear!"

Again, no it wasn't! Kagura was placed in the story for this purpose! She was in love with Sesshoumaru and he was falling in love with her. They are the ONLY canon Sess ship!

"Well, you're forgetting about the original series being about a 15-year-old girl getting with a 50+ year old man!"

There are so many reasons why this is an illogical statement. - InuYasha and Kagome met when they were mentally the same age. Sess and Rin met with he was mentally a young adult and she was EIGHT! - Kagome and InuYasha didn't have an official relationship until she returned from her time after three years... WHEN SHE WAS 18! - Every moment in the original story where Kagome was in an inappropriate situation she got mad and did something about it! She didn't just giggle and let the men around her ogle or touch her! - And my personal opinion, I also believe InuYasha and Kagome’s relationship was toxic anyway, so don’t try to hold that one over me. There’s a reason I’m a multi-shipper.

Who’s putting words in her mouth? She stated, in an interview plain as day, that Yashahime was not canon! She didn’t write it. An official publication does not canon make! Not to mention “the woman who changed him” is such an incredibly vague statement. If it was meant to be Rin, she’d have just said Rin. As mentioned before, she was very adamant about pushing the Kagura x Sesshoumaru ship. And Kagura definitely changed him. Was it not his compassion toward her specifically that regained his arm and gave him a sword? I’m pretty sure “the woman who changed him” was meant to be a vague statement because the canonical intention was just to leave it open to interpretation and is probably meant to be some random village woman who bonded with Sesshoumaru and ultimately completed his change.

And if, by chance, she did mean Rin, she didn’t say it was canon. Just that she was his wife meaning that is who Sunrise set as his wife in the show. Think about it? She was answering the question of “who had his children in Yashahime.” If she meant Rin, she was avoiding spoilers and giving a hint to who Sunrise chose as his wife. That’s not saying she would have picked Rin, herself. She didn’t write it. So it seems to me that you are the one putting words in her mouth.

Now tell me, if your best friend from grade school who was adopted told you when she was a teen or even an adult, "My dad's hot. We decided to sleep together." would you not find that disturbing? That's SessRin right now.

Also:

HANYOU NO YASHAHIME IS NOT CANON! THIS IS PER RUMIKO TAKAHASHI HERSELF! DO NOT TRY TO JUSTIFY THAT SESSRIN IS CANON NOW BECAUSE IT ISN'T! IT'S JUST AN OVERGLORIFIED AND POORLY WRITTEN FANFICTION!

ONLY THE MANGA IS CANON! OG SESSHOUMARU IS THE ONLY SESSHOUMARU!! That being said, I still say if you do happen to be a SessRin shipper, then you do you. Enjoy what you want. But what is happening right now does not give you a right to justify any toxic behavior that your community is expressing. Again, I wouldn’t even be mad if Sunrise hadn’t portrayed Rin as still being underage. I won’t stand to see people justify this!

Alright. I am beating a dead horse here but taking time off of this show and fandom did not work. This will be the last time I ever say something about it but it’s upsetting to me so I need to vent. And to everyone saying “You are an adult man and this is fiction, why are you so obsessed? Weirdo. Learn to differentiate between fiction and reality.” I am going to address these notions as well as other problems I am having here. But really, Inuyasha was one of my first Anime, I have many dear memories and especially Rin was one of my all time favourite characters. Seeing her being mistreated like this upsets me. Ofc it does because if you watch something in formative years it’s not just fiction like a boring sitcom you watch now. Shows and characters are important to people and to simply dismiss it like that even if they would have been equally upset if it wouldnt have become canon, is infuriating. Really this is just therapeutic for me because even after weeks it’s still so baffling to me. Also please excuse the grammar and spelling mistakes. I am not a native speaker.

So the problem is obviously Sessrin and how it’s done because while I absolutely dont agree with this pairing, it would have been fine if it wasnt like it is. 

In the original show, Rin is an 8 yo child and her entire character reflects just that. She behaves like a child and depends on others. She has also been traumatized, doesnt speak at the beginning of the show and dies twice. Both times she is saved by or because of Sesshomaru. In many ways, while she has survival skills on her own, she depends on his presence alone to keep danger away. He also leaves her with trustworthy humans at the end but stays in her life as a protector. Now I like the original dynamic. It’s sweet, innocent and both characters grow because of it. Rin can work through her traumatic experiences, learns to trust others and Sesshomaru becomes a better person.  What happens afterwards only happens offscreen right until Rin gives birth to his children at the crippling old age of 15. 15. My lil sis is 16 now and couldnt consent to something like that. And she is mature af. It’s ridiculous. My blood boils just typing that shit out. And if you give me the ‘it’s legal in Japan’ excuse. In Germany a 14 yo can be with a 20 yo sexually. Still not okay in societies eyes and on tv it’s never shown as something positive. It’s even explicitly forbidden for authority figures like teachers or protectors to be with their protégé before the age of 18 because the chances of even unintentional grooming are too high. 

Now lets take a quick break and discuss how this kind of relationship usually plays out in other fictional pieces. A minor with an adult is something that is being portrayed at times and I dont have a problem with that. The problem is how it’s being done in Yashahime. And I dont mean the nonexisting character development but the fact that even in adult fiction this type of relationship isnt depicted positively. And this show is for young adults and teens that will exist way after all the discourse as the official sequel to Inuyasha. A cult anime. Meaning that in the future young people will watch it. Just like many still watch Inuyasha to this day. It’s on Netflix for fucks sake. Just to preface what comes next.   Some people say, “But cant you differentiate between reality and fiction?!?!?!” Adults can but younger people havent developed this ability to the same extent.   What happened to Rin was statutory r*pe in the USA, illegal even in Germany and should have been depicted as such unless the showrunners and fandom are okay with watching it without criticism or deconstruction. At best it was done with the intention to please the fanbase but really it’s neglectful to anyother part of the present and future audience. Not even most Animes do that. And I get that Sessriners arent into that shit in real life and an adult show could have gone this route because the viewers understand and add the criticism in their heads. Not ideal but whatever to me. But a YA show to go this route is so wrong on so many levels. The younger viewer who will watch this show in the following years might subconsciously internalize that this is acceptable under certain conditions when it’s not criticized properly on the show. That lowers their alertness when an adult actually starts to groom them. How dense do you have to be to assume that the lack of criticism on this YA show is a good thing?? Not everyone who will ever watch this show is an adult or capable of the same reasoning.

But another thing: for the same reason r*pe isnt depicted in a positive light, these types of relationships arent either. Because it’s not a positive thing and most people and showrunners dont want to see or create it as positive. Even in adult fiction, even in other anime, the media critizes and deconstructs what it’s showing because normally the showmakers dont approve but show it for realisitc or dramatic reasons. the same sessrin storyline would fit a fucking horror or thriller series. Just change the music and show it all. No showmakers in their right mind would go “Aye we got a r*pe scene coming up, lets put romantic music and have a pink filter over it.” “But it’s a different time and culture!” People will say and I agree but to have the audacity to assume that back then it was okay or that in todays Japan it’s okay, is fucked up. Think about it for a second. That’s so fucked up to think. Even if the society back then or in Japan thinks it’s okay, does it make it okay? 15 yo girls werent able to consent to adults and bear their children back then. They had to. They were raised with the expectations and they simply grew up thinking that it was the normal thing. But that doesnt make it right. That’s just societal grooming which did not prepare them in any way or allowed them the human dignity that they would have deserved. To now act like it’s all cool to just show the “positive” aspects or to twist it into something positive is so fucked up. Child Brides are a fucked up concept and to portray it as anything else is fucked up and also undermines the experience many girls still have to make. period.

I heard people say that it’s okay to portray it in this way because “Sesshomaru is not human!!!1″ and that’s correct. He is not. BUT, it’s not about being human but about maturity, consens, and independency. Him being a yokai makes it worse imo because there is an obvious power discrepancy. But in this particular fiction a good relationship could have been established (Kagome and Inuyasha for example) on those foundations but they did not because I can only assume they wanted Sesshomaru to smash and the show to pick up at a point where the other characters arent too old to be cool.

“What’s with Sango and Miroku, Kagome and Inuyasha?? It’s the same!” No it’s not. Rin was 8 at the beginning of the show. Kagome was 15 and Sango was 16-17 when they met their significant others. If you now tell me that you think 8 to be comparable to 15-17, I must ask you to get a reality check. Kagome’s and Sango’s relationships were slowburns starting when they already were able to have sexual and romantical feelings. Rin was a child. And Kagome did not kiss Inuyasha until they knew each other for a long ass period of time and bonded as friends and maybe more. Sesshomaru and Rin never were friends in the same way that Kagome and Inuyasha were because the maturity levels are way off. No adult is friends with a little child in the same way they are friends with their adult friends. And normally you dont grow into such a friendship but in the rare case you do, it’s not when she is 15 but maybe 20 or 25. 

Last but not least, Rin is not a character to the audience the same way Kagome or Sango are. Why? Because she was never shown as an adult or 3 Dimensional character to the audience. We know her as a child who wants to be with her trusted group. She is naive, but tough and doesnt have any motivation or drive on her own outside her group. Like every child she clung to the adults around her and her world outside of this group was nonexisting. Kagome wanted to be successful in school, Sango was a demon hunter and wanted to find her brother. Those are motivations and traits that dont circle around the love interest. Rin never had those because she was not developed to that point. Because she was a child and her entire existence was to develop Sesshomaru and to perhaps give the viewer a character to simply adore. What we see is of her: Mistreated child, -> Dead child -> Child being looked after and healing, -> Child not being homeless anymore -> ????? -> Teenager getting knocked up, pumping out main characters and then getting yeeted into a tree. 

This is not the way you treat a beloved character. There is no dignity to her character. “But she is fictional!!1″ Yes she is. But please show me a show that treats its child characters like this without criticizing it. 

I would have loved to see her grow as her own person. Go on her own adventures or learning a craft or developing meaningful bonds with other characters her age. Forming ideas that dont revolve around Sesshomaru alone. You know her being 3 Dimentional and not just there to pump out main characters. And if she then with 20 or 25 met Sesshomaru again and thought he was the hottest shit, I would have been fine with it. Not happy but fine. But in the little time we saw her as ‘not a child’, she still behaved the way she did before.

Just a quickie something

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon is coming out October 3rd and I'm hyped 'cause InuYasha is one of my FAVORITE animes.

Now, as I've seen pointed out, Kagome is...nowhere to be found. Wtf, right? And in all the promotional material InuYasha looks distant, which is kinda odd for such a hot-headed and passionate character. Weird af, yea? Popular theory, of course, is that Kagome died but how can only be guessed at.

Did she die of old age? Doubtful, considering her daughter is only 14 and it's most likely only been about 15 years since the ending of InuYasha (Yashahime starts 6 months after InuYasha but Kagome isn't pregnant at that time + childbirth, duh, is a 9 month process + Moroha is 14 = about 15 years). Did she die from a demon? I feel like that shouldn't even be a question (InuYasha, Sango/Kirara and Miroku protecting her + Kaeda 'cause that old lady actually isn't a pushover + she lives in the same village as Rin and Sesshomaru has a goddamn danger tracker attached to that girl + Kagome is probably the most powerful character and she ain't no bitch who can't stand up for herself = she's pretty fuckin safe)(I'm exluding Shippo and Kohaku from this body count 'cause they're no doubt off doing their own things).

Honestly, the most believable way she could've died was childbirth itself 'cause death rates due to that shit were actually pretty high back in the ol' days (on a serious note, CDC states about 700 women die in the U.S. alone due to pregnancy/childbirth-related issues) and it's only gone down because of advancements in modern medicine and medical practices. Kagome willingly chose to live the rest of her life in a rural farm village in a year between the 1400s-1500s (I'm not an expert in Japanese history but the series is set in the 1990s and says the Bone-Eaters Well transports her 500 years into the past), plus all the raging wars so doctors are kinda few and far between...but Sango and Miroku did just fine and they've got 3 children. Even if Kagome died, I would imagine that Sesshomaru would bring his mother into the picture (he might be a complete dick but, once again, Rin exists).

Anyway, another thing is that Shippo is completely missing too. Of course, he has a better reason to be out of the picture (the fox exams or whatever it was called) but I'd like to point out that Shippo is ALWAYS with Kagome when she's separated from everybody else. Always. The only exceptions is when there's absolutely no way for him to follow her (i.e. she goes to the modern era) or when she's kidnapped (and even then he still somehow manages to tag along sometimes like with Koga).

Thirdly, whomst the FUCK laid herself out for a dickhead like Sesshomaru?? Hell yea he's sexy af but even then I would never let a guy like that anywhere near my naked body. More importantly, who tf did Sesshomaru find worthy enough for his dick? You gotta KNOW that egomaniac ain't gonna pick some random ass lady, I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been any mentions of whoever his baby mama is since I find it really hard to believe he'd pull a one-and-done. When finding someone worthy of his dick, he probably spent at least a few months with her or some shit and, by the fact that he not the type to do something just because, he probably liked her too (as shown with Kaguya and contrary to popular belief, romance and the feelings associated with it isn't totally lost him). Kinda sappy but it's true; I don't believe for a second that someone like him would tap it and leave, at the very least he was probably hoping for kids to continue his lineage.

That brings me to my last point: where the fuck is Sesshomaru in all of this? One of his daughters is missing, that I understand he can't do much about, while the other has lost her memories. Ok, but she works under Kohaku, who works (as far as us viewers has seen) under Sesshomaru. Kohaku has most likely moved on from Sesshomaru's wings but I would think they're still quite close (Rin obviously holds him dear to her heart + Kohaku risked his life to save hers on multiple occassions = Kohaku is to be protected as well, at least to a certain extent). Setsuna losing her memories means she probably doesn't remember Sesshomaru is her father and Sesshomaru is JUST enough of an edgy bitch to not be like "ay you my daughter and you got a sister." Dick move.

Anyway, I know this was a whole ass essay but I'm actually really interested to know what y'all are thinkin down in the comments (if you actually cared enough to read through this essay but a girl can hope)

Oh boy let me tell you I have some THOUGHTS about these boys and their taste in anime

La Squadra with an Otaku s/o

Risotto 

at first he’s gonna be kinda confused, not gonna lie. Growing up the only ‘anime’ he knew was like, Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z but at that point he was too old to really get into Pokemon, and he never considered DBZ anime because it aired next to cartoons and stuff.

But that doesn’t mean he won’t appreciate s/o and their good taste. He’s the kind of guy who wants to learn about what interests the people he loves, and he loves you. So he’d honestly enjoy late nights spent binge watching your favorites.

Comes to realize that DBZ was low key his gym goals for the early years of him working out. If you bought him a ‘Swole like Goku’ tank he’d probably wear it to lift in, ngl.

Knowing your favorites he’d probably look to merch for his go to birthday or Christmas gifts. Considering the hobbies and interests of some of his co-workers, a scantily clad waifu figure is honestly a welcome change of pace.

Depending on the style or aesthetic of the anime (ie, is it goth) he would be down to couples cosplay, although he wouldn’t be comfortable with you posting pictures of his face or any identifiable features of him online

His fave is probably the original Dragon Ball Run, followed very closely by DBZ for the nostalgia bit. Something deep like Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood and the original) would also appeal to him

Is also a big fan of Beserk, disappointed by the anime. And Vinland Saga, not disappointed by the anime.

Partial to Princess Mononoke as well. He likes some Ghibli films, isn’t afraid to admit it. Thinks the score for Spirited Away is bomb af.

Prosciutto

Prosciutto doesn’t really get it at first either. Honestly? He probably didn’t know the difference between cartoon and anime until you explained it to him.

Unlike Risotto he might be a bit more judgey if you try to get him to watch some with you. So you gotta hit him with the real classics. 

But similarly to Risotto, he at least makes an effort to try and indulge in the things you like. He might not be as patient, but he tries.

Probably wouldn’t do cosplay himself, but would hunt down exclusive seasonal merch to gift you. He’d take careful stock of your collections and do some research to pick out only the finest figurines and posters for you.

Would buy that hella expensive premium bandai apparel for you too, might even pick something subtle up for himself if he really liked the show it came from.

Also back on the cosplay note, if you agreed he’d find the highest quality cosplay possible and have you model some of his favorites for him.

(In particular if you were comfortable in fem clothing, Faye Valentine gets him going)

He loves Cowboy Beebop. 100%, wants to watch it again as soon as it ends. Everything from the characters to the story to the music and the fliud animation that has aged like fine wine appeals to him. Prosciutto is a man who likes the finer things in life. He oozes class. Cowboy Beebop oozes class and prestige.

Also likes Maasaki Yuasa. It was his idea to go see The Night Is Short, Walk on Girl in theaters.

In general his tastes tend to lean towards arthouse type anime or bona fide classics.

Pesci

Pesci knows anime and has been doing his absolute best to keep it a secret from the rest of the gang because they already tease him enough.

He’s one of those secret weebs, you gotta know where to look. Your best bet is to look at his accessories. Is there a watch with a certain symbol from an anime you recognize? A lanyard with a familiar print? Something subtle that isn’t immediately noticed by people not looking for it.

He has a secret box in his room full of blue rays from his faves. He watches them sometimes when he’s home alone. There’s nothing X rated in there obviously, he just doesn’t want people to know.

Thank god he has you.

The two of you probably bonded pretty fast over your mutual love of anime. Hell, you being such an open and proud Otaku probably gave him a bit of confidence in expressing his interests too.

Yall are the weeb couple. Yall definitely go to conventions together. Couples Cosplays, the whole thing.

He’s a sucker for Shonen just as much as he is for the really good heart wrenching painful ones. 

He watches Boruto because he loves Naruto so much.

He would also tear up at Clannad.

Dango Daikazoku triggers almost a pavlovian response of heart ache.

So does Secret Base.

Ano Hana is probably his favorite, although even you’d need to pry it out of him. Its one thing that Prosciutto gives him shit for liking anime, its a whole different ball game if he found out Pesci liked girly anime

Fromaggio

He knows what hentai is. That’s about as far as his knowledge went before yall got together.

He thinks its pretty interesting though, so he’d be down to watch some with you.

Turns out he really likes action shonen. He got really, really into One Piece. Like, instantly. He likes the fact there’s so much to watch/read before he’s caught up too.

Another boy that would couples cosplay and be really into it. Especially if it continued into the bedroom.

He’s pretty go with the flow, so he isn’t picky about what y’all watch. Even if it isn’t his cup of tea he’ll sit through a few episodes on a night with you.

Fromaggio can’t tell the difference between a high quality figure and a shitty one. Its a crap shoot what he buys for you. Its more a process of ‘oh, so likes this character’ rather than checking the seams and paint quality and how dynamic the pose is/interchangeable parts. 

Definitely buys way too much in the dealers room because of this.

He tries his best.

His fave is probably One Piece, liked bleach a lot but never read the manga, Yu Yu Hakusho is another one he really enjoyed. The Dark Tournament arc had him at the edge of his seat and hype as shit.

Illuso

Had a passing knowledge of anime before dating you. Knew what it was, saw a few of the mainstream ones, thought they were enjoyable, moved on with his life.

Your dedicated interest in anime would surprise him at first, because he always figured it was kind of a niche thing.

Would snoop around your collection of manga/figures/plushes in the mirror world while you sleep.

Winds up reading a lot of your manga like that (he’s good at reading in reverse because of his stand)

He finds he appreciates the art style of 80s-90s manga a lot more than he does the modern stuff. He really got into Ranma 1/2 and thinks Rumiko Takahashi’s artstyle is excellent.

If you asked him to watch Inuyasha with you he wouldn’t say no.

Probably wouldn’t want to do couples cosplay, but he definitely has an appreciation for you in cosplay.

You could talk him into going to a con if you caught him in the right mood. It’d be a hard sell though.

Has a surprising enjoyment for J-Rock. 

Inuyasha is high on his favorites list, as is Ranma 1/2. Also a fan of Ghibli movies although its pulling teeth to get him to admit it.

Melone

This man has watched so much hentai in his life.

He probably actually knows them by title honestly.

He enjoys anime too, and is not ashamed unlike Pesci. Everyone already knows he has unconventional tastes there is nothing to hide here.

Melone enjoys traditionally feminine anime, especially Sailor Moon. That one has a special place in his heart as he has memories of his sister watching it with him when he was much younger.

Its more of a decompress thing than anything else, so he doesn't tend to favor heavy anime with dense plot and more mature subject matter.

He likes Maid Costumes. On you, on him, it doesn’t matter.

Doesn’t know a whole lot about merch and what makes something higher quality but he learns fast. Between you and him the Dealers Room at cons won’t know what hit them.

Is the type to preorder a figure he knows you’d like. And maybe one for him.

Sailor Moon is his favorite as I’ve said before, his favorite sailor scout is Rei. Is also a fan of Ano Hana, Violet Evergarden, and Toradora although he needs to be in the right mood to watch them.

Ghiaccio

He went down the Fate rabbit hole and we haven’t seen him since.

The gender bending grates as his soul but he is addicted regardless. There’s just so much dense lore that he can’t seem to stop going.

But also seeing how much care and attention is paid to the historical background of a lot of the servants is intriguing to him. Its the perfect blend of accurate and harem trash that infuriates him but also leaves him needing to know more.

He hasn’t played every game but he has Grand Order on his phone and has sunk an ungodly amount of money into the gacha trying to get his favorite (Its Jeanne Alter, in case anyone was wondering) and has seen all the anime (His favorite is the cooking spin off because its surprisingly calming to watch)

Fate Zero is probably his favorite ‘serious’ Fate adaptation. He enjoys the gravitas of the Holy Grail Wars (and hates how it was tossed out the fucking window in UBW/Stay Night/Heavens Feel) and the ritual aspect to the summoning and foreshadowing of future events as well as hints at a deeper magical lore in the universe hit all the right spots in his lizard brain.

The fact every fate anime has a different version of Saber (or a Saber Clone) pisses him off too.

He really loves Fate. And will scream about it for hours at you.

Getting him to watch or talk about anything else is like pulling teeth but he eventually relents because he loves you.

Its difficult to get through a single episode without him grumbling about something or another, but he tries once he sees its important to you. He does his best not to outright insult your favorite anime.

Can appreciate high quality merch as well, probably collects Jalter Figures himself.

If you’re comfortable in fem clothing, Cosplay Jalter for him and he will literally ascend then and there. Keeps pics on his phone. Would probably make it his background. He’s weak

Outside of Fate he finds he enjoys high fantasy shows. Historical fantasy pisses him off too much, and straight up historical drama would also have him grasping for inaccuracies.

Full Metal Alchemist is a non-fate series that he really loves because of the world building. The movie Maquia was one he enjoyed as well. Likes every Miyazaki film, don’t tell anyone. Cried (and raged) when Ushio died in Clannad.

In general he just likes really good world building. It has to be good otherwise he’s going to spend the whole time picking it apart.

Boy howdy do I absolutely loathe the miscommunication trope. “Oh I just happened to see something out of context and instead of asking about it, I just assumed they were cheating on me, uwu” no. Stahp it. Get some help.

There are millions of AUs. Picking just one is difficult. Any AU in which Toriel can be happy is fine by me, though. I have thought about Yokai!Toriel in regards to RPing with you folks in the Inuyasha crew, however.

♂: Is there any kind of music, you hear while writing? What kind of music?

Surprising absolutely no one who knows anything about me, yes I constantly hear music when I’m writing. Not that I play music, no that would be distracting AF. But when I write scenes that are particularly emotional  or character driven I can hear the music I would want to have playing along with the scene. I can always hear the gentle strings and piano of a romantic scene or the harsh sirens and the pounding drums in action scenes.

AYY-EETTT finally home now i can gush about my wips!

okaY SO! Kagome is blind, obviously and...fuck it you know what i’m just gonna copy and paste everything that i have in the doc lmao

Short version: Inukag: Kagome is blind and she receives a guide dog as a gift. The guide dog is Inuyasha, under some kind of spell or something idk and he’s the perfect Guide Dog because he still has his half-demon mind and he’s in the body of a dog. He’s protective af, takes his job seriously, falls in love with Kagome at first sight or something idk, then maybe after he saves Kagome and she tells him she loves him or something POOF he transforms back into a half-demon and he still take on his task of guiding her regardless. 

Long version: Kagome’s eyesight is bad enough that she is considered legally blind, but she can still see to an extent. Shapes, outlines, ect. A stubborn, independent woman, her family has been urging her over the years to get her a guide dog, but she keeps refusing, saying she doesn’t need one, she’s fine dammit. Part of her realizes that if she agrees to a guide dog, she is finally accepting the fact that she is legally blind and she’s not ready for that yet. She’s adamant that she can still do things on her own without any help. 

But then one day Kagome nearly has a fatal accident that could have very well ended with her in the hospital and begrudgingly, Kagome finally agrees to get a guide dog. 

Enter Inuyasha, cursed by his ex-lover Kikyou to be a dog forever. Kikyou registers him to be a guide dog for the blind, maybe as a punishment- his hatred for helping people when he was a hanyou coming back to bite him in the ass - or because he’s too aggressive, surly, grumpy, ect for anyone to consider him as a dog so it would ensure he’d be alone for the rest of his days, miserable and stuck as a dog. Despite this though he is one of the top dogs since he still his half-demon mind so he’s leagues smarter than the average dog. He doesn’t let anyone approach him and the director for the guide dogs or whoever it is thinks he is a lost cause so after Inuyasha’s fourth attempt at biting someone, he is labeled as a lost cause and the director stops trying to recommend him. 

But then Kagome comes in and she’s the first one ever to get close to Inuyasha without him trying to bite her. But that’s only because she looks so much like Kikyou he’s stunned for a few minutes. Then he goes all growly and snappy again and the director is all disappointed and sighing but Kagome goes “I like him.” Even after the director explains the dog’s aggressive behavior and that they have much more mild tempered dogs, Kagome’s heart is set on Inuyasha because he is a kindred spirit. She can feel his pain, and she likes to think he could feel her own, however mental/spiritual it was. Or maybe she feels like they connect because he clearly doesn’t want to be here/be a guide dog, and she doesn’t want one to begin with, or something.

Anyway Kagome keeps coming back every so often so Inuyasha can get used to her presence/scent and eventually Inuyasha starts softening toward her, still his usually grumpy self but he does stop trying to bite at her after a while and merely grunts/growls at her, but for some reason Kagome knows he won’t hurt her. When it becomes apparent he’s used to her the director starts having them walk the course to see how compatible they are. At first Inuyasha is reluctant and deliberately strays off course, doesn’t do it correctly. Kagome doesn’t give up and keeps coming in again and again. The director is amazed at the behavioral changes in the violent/aggressive dog that had come to this place months ago, and when Inuyasha finally just gives up one day – Kagome wasn’t so bad, she smelled nice, and was nothing like his ex despite how they looked alike – and passes the guide dog test or whatever by successfully guiding her along a course without mishap, the director allows Kagome to bring Inuyasha home with her.

Life with Kagome is not what he expected; she treats him like a person, not like a dog, and living with her is definitely an upgrade than his kennel at the shelter. Kagome basically lets him do what he wants and day by day their bond grows. Inuyasha becomes extremely protective of her and takes his job seriously as her guide. He ends up saving her one day, and Kagome says some kind of magic phrase/does something idk yet that gets him back to normal. Unknowingly of course or maybe she tells Inuyasha she loves him and that’s what makes him change back idk but it doesn’t change anything he still protects her and still guides her around….with the added benefit of kisses and snuggles and sex lmao

dunno when i’ll ever get around to this, but it’s definitely one of my favorite plots!

Inuyasha :V. He is always the one to start the almost-fights between these two. Although both of these dog bois can be brash, I think Kouga has a bit more self-control than Inuyasha.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. They’re both so angREh and can act immature and angsty at times XD. This isn’t who’s more mature tho, it’s who’s emotionally stronger……. THEY’VE BOTH BEEN THROUGH A LOT AND ARE STILL STANDING SO……………….. Maybe…… Kouga? Just because… Inuyasha can be more insecure than Kouga? iDK

The question they are always asking too lolI believe Kouga is more physically stronger than Inu. Inuyasha is a half-demon while Kouga is a full-demon, afterall. Inuyasha’s Tetsusaiga is what levels out the playing field between these two methinks.

Who is more likely to break a bone?

Inuyasha. Kouga’s more agile and good at dodging hits. Inuyasha also has his human nights where he’s much more fragile, so, that counts I guess?

Who knows best what to say to upset the other?

Mmmm although just existing around each other is enough to trigger them, XD, when it comes to knowing how to upset the other with words specifically, I think that’d be Kouga. It’s not too hard to insult an outcast half-demon, and easy to believe that such insults about being weak and unwanted would hit close to home and really hurt :’C.

Who is most likely to apologize first after an argument?

XD THESE TWO STUBBORN JERKS…. Kouga tho. He’s slightly more relenting to sacrifice being right for being on good terms with those he cares about. Perhaps because like, Kouga’s used to all the closeness and companionship of his pack that he hates being seriously at odds with his friends, while Inuyasha is used to being scorned and alone, so isn’t so affected by even his friends being mad at him.

Who treats whose wounds more often?

Hmm. I can see Kouga being more protective of Inuyasha (much to Inuyasha’s chagrin) since he’s a hanyou, but, I can also see like, Inuyasha occasionally taking care of Kouga because of what he’s learned from Kagome patching him up so many times. He’d be super tsundere about it tho, and only show his worry when things are really serious. “It’s only a flesh wound ya wimpy wolf; quit whining like a pathetic pup an’ just walk it off!”

Who is in constant need of comfort?

Inuyaaaasha… As you told me for your reasons for shipping InuKoug; Kouga, a full-demon, could be a really positive source of support for Inuyasha as a half-demon. For all his life humans have mostly been just afraid of him, while demons have looked down on him and called him a disgrace. After meeting Kagome, he makes human friends and eventually gets on much better terms with humans… But is still despised by most other demons. So.. Like Karasunosuke pointed out.. Kouga being a full-demon and telling Inuyasha he’s strong and likable and significant, would perhaps be even more meaningful to Inuyasha than praise from weak and mortal humans, who would of course be impressed by his demon powers. Also Inuyasha is just way more insecure and angsty than Kouga in general rip

Who gets more jealous?

Inuyasha, as we know from his interactions with Kouga over Kagome XD. Kouga has more deep-down genuine confidence (not just the cockiness they both have) and trust for his friends than Inuyasha, so, I think he’s a tad less prone to getting jealous. He would feel more secure in his relationships than Inuyasha for sure.

Who’s most likely to walk out on the other?

Inuyasha cuz he’s angsty and insecure and even more hot-headed and, Kouga is loyal af

Who will propose?

Uhhhhhhhh……… Hmm. I feel like I saw a headcanon of yours about this somewhere? But uh I can see Kouga ofc being the one to propose.. or even just, to make their relationship official at first as well? Inuyasha would still be so stubbornly tsundere about the true depth of their relationship for a long time, while Kouga would come to terms with every stage of the relationship easier. Kouga’s one to make up his mind very easily and suddenly too, while Inuyasha’s a confused tsundere who rarely knows what he wants XD, so.

Who has the most difficult parents?

Can’t be difficult when they’re all deAD. …..But hmm maybe like. Maybe some of Kouga’s pack who are kind of like elder familial figures to him, like, wise uncles idk – I could see them being really critical of Kouga starting to hang around just Inuyasha himself? And being critical for a long time as Kouga as Inuyasha’s friendship would grow and deepen.

Kouga. They’re both wild animal guys who don’t exactly have beds, but, Kouga’s got his cozy cave with perhaps cozy pelts for blankets, and is used to being warm and cuddly with his fellow wolves, while Inuyasha’s used to sleeping alone and without any bedding comforts defensively up in trees and such.

Who gets more sad?

Inuyasha gets more insecure and angsty, but, I think he’d just display that emotional pain through anger, not sadness. Tho they’re both tough and kind of embarrassed to show ‘weakness’ in the form of getting emotional, I can see Kouga being more prone to being just simply sad than Inu.

Who is better at cheering the other up?

Kouga cuz he’S THOUGHTFUL AND SWEET AND GREAT
