also I just realised that when Usaida dreams the genderbend chapter, Saikawa as a woman would prob be Usaida's type of woman since we have the character info page and couple notes in chapters that he obv likes women with glasses 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Oh yes Usaida and Kumatsuka-sensei are both onboard 😆 though it could be just because sensei feels responsible for what happened. But she won’t be the one to stop Inui 😆

And I think Usaida’s a multishipper, or he’s just really entertained of the students’ romantic relationships (or lack thereof), kind of like watching daytime soaps lol

Regarding the genderbend chapter, that’s exactly what I thought too 😂 I like to think Usaida also realized that when he saw fem Saikawa, and that realization was what woke him up (not Taka stepping on him) 😂

Honestly speaking, he’s far too conscious of flickering gazes and shuffling feet. It’s just… easier to do this. To look away; play an idiot. To avoid explaining again that he doesn’t have time, that he has too many responsibilities.

In the shimmering light, Inui lifts Kotaro up towards the ray swimming overhead, and Ryuuichi’s wonders what it would be like if he made time.

So when Inui looks at him, a shy flush over uncertain eyes, Ryuuichi smiles.

It’s better than looking away.
