Chapter 125: Learning Numbers with Kotarou and Kami-cha

While Ryuuichi is left in the classroom trying to tutor Usokawa on Math (and totally not Hayato escaping from doing the tutoring), Hayato goes ahead to the daycare room to watch over and play with the kids.

As the other kids (and Usaida) take their nap, Hayato notices Kotarou still awake holding a book, and so proceeds to read to him 😄

hi I’ve been having gakuen babysitters brainrot recently because it’s my comfort anime so I’m going to talk about HayaRyuu :>

Ryuuichi seems queercoded (to me at least) because it’s brought up multiple times that quite a few girls have a crush on him, but kotaro is always his top priority. while this is true, it’s also mentioned that Ryuuichi has never had a crush on a girl, ever. in conclusion: gay

It’s also discussed that Hayato has attracted a lot of attention from girls, but he always turns them down for similar reasons

If you were to change anything about the Gakuen Babysitters canon, what would it be (and why)?

oh hey there anon!!

to be honest i don't really think there's something i want to change in gakubaby, the story and the characters are already pretty good enough for me.

but there is something that i would like to see in it, since it did was touched upon very briefly — trans people (inui's sisters mentions the world trans to refer to ryuu when he is crossdressing) and maybe lgb relationships (since inui has pretty heavy bi coding). i see the mangaka is very good at showing us interesting platonic relationships — some that even has gays undertones. so i would like to see them looking a little more out of the box when the story isn't so much focused in the kids.

It would be interesting to see more about what the kids do too besides the time ryuu can be with them. i am kinda expecting a little more of kids shenigans and their chaotic energy lakslskdlskldkdldkd

i dunno if this is what u thought i would talk about but i am very pleased with the ask. sorry for taking so long to answer tho :<

uh, in my opinion they would talk more about work at first. usaida would fill saikawa in the kashima brithers day, and also talk a little about the others kids at the daycare.

while they are at it, perphas some personal information is being shared — like at they do at free hours, what they like to eat or how they clean their clothes and all — and about some future plans ig since usaida is studying to be a teacher and i'm sure the chairwoman would help him if needed and saikawa would love to bring her that information hehe

so, yeah, in my very humble opinion they would talk about work first and share some personal information and recommendations about books or songs second.
