When your "I'm only comfortable with people i know" type of person is interpreted as "I'm too good for everyone and everything except those whom i approve of" like, no no no, i really wanna participate in the parties and dancing and your fun activities etc etc but in front of everyone ??? Nah I'll pass. Just let me sit in peace and enjoy the damn event.

i love coffee, it's my life—I don't know how anyone can live without it.

i love every single colour in the world as long as they aren't bright and irritating, but my most favorite colours are probably blue and purple :)

my favourite artists/bands are billie eilish, conan gray, olivia rodrigo, cavetown, faye webster, girl in red, beabadoobee, arctic monkeys, beach bunny, clairo, tv girl, mitski, phoebe bridgers, cigarettes after sex, adrianne lenker, alex g, current joys, radio head, etc.

my favourite book series are obviously the heartstopper series, percy jackson, and im currently reading the hunger games… again (favourite movie is coraline:3)

more boring things i like are sleeping (most of the time meaning phone in bed), sketching or drawing, listening to music, learning how to play certain songs on my guitar, ukulele, or piano, playing on my switch, and going on walks!

oh and my favorite season is fall :)))

Sometimes, I find myself longing for a friend to talk to, even though that seems impossible for me because I am too detached from others and the world itself. Fortunately, these wishes fade away soon, but perhaps it is a bit sad and worrying that I lack the ability to connect with others in this essentially social world.

Being an introvert is a weird mixture of standing out and feeling/being invisible.

You stand out because you don't fit in and you're invisible because most people prefer face to face interactions as a medium of getting to know others instead of writing.

any tips for going from acquaintance to friend with someone you've been wanting to be friends with? i want to get better at asking people for their phone numbers but it feels awkward going up to someone saying "hiii I wanna get to know you better/talk to you more can i have your phone number?" because that first of all is kinda weird and second makes it seem like i wanna date said person when i don't 😭

today i slept a lot which was pretty much needed. especially after the extended (extriverted) weekend and at the end of the day i am still f king introverted.

btw, these are violets i found in the garden; pressed and dried them and put them into my journal alongside on of my favourite poems names Violets from Plug Street Wood by R. A. Leighton.
