Can't decide if my coffee tastes like refrigerator or like I need to put more almond milk in it or what 😂 I did use a creamer that's been open a little over two weeks. You're supposed to discard it after two weeks 😅 But I never discard these creamers until I know they're actually bad, like, spoiled. Because they come in such large containers and I am the only person in the house who uses coffee creamers, so a lot of it always goes to waste (I use like one or two tablespoons per cup of coffee. Otherwise it makes the coffee way too sweet for me).

Love having multiple dietary restrictions due to my chronic illnesses including a massive wheat intolerance and watching people on twitter assure everyone that "you won't starve if animal products and meat become prohibitively expensive or completely unavailable" like just say you don't give a shit about disabled people and go.

Release Date: October 3rd 2024

This book is advertised as "the ultimate allergy-friendly cookbook" and I believe it. I've seen photos of this book, and a video on the author's personal Tiktok page that shows it in a bit more detail and I think it looks incredible.

As well as clear visual markers to show which recipes are free from certain ingredients, there are also pictures included for some recipes to show what they should look like if they are gluten-free, egg-free, soy-free etc. Which I think is amazing.

My lactose intolerance and love of baking may make me biased, but I was already excited for this book when it was shown to me before I even looked at Cermelj's website for more information, and now I'm even more so.

Cermelj's site, The Loopy Whisk, also allows you to search for recipes by dietary requirement and recipe type!

She has another cookbook, released in 2022, with details on gluten-free recipes!

If anyone has any other recommendations for allergy/intolerance-friendly cookbooks and recipe books, please let me know! I'd love to add more to the archive!

For the weird theories I'm 90% certain you dont have a single food allergy. You can just eat shit and not look at the label even once like some kind of scavenger

God I WISH. Unfortunately if I eat certain foods my digestive system kills itself. But I probably have the vibe of someone who doesn't because I often Forget and still eat foods I'm not supposed to. THANKFULLY nothing can kill me. that I know of. I just am in a lot of pain after.

Although nobody likely cares, I'll post some OC lore. Because I have COVID and will be confined to one small room for many days, and my neurodivergent ass can't handle that.

The character's name is Nairin Chauveron, and he's from a species called Shadows. These creatures have the ability to use magic and live for a very long time, and can also become Beast creatures. His, for example, is some weird giant white fox thing. However, Shadows are prone to a disease widely known as Corruption, which screws up their magic and can alter their forms.

They have crystals on their bodies, usually their chests, made of similar materials to their bones and horns. When a Shadow has Corruption, these crystals, or Cores, as they're known, fill up with dark magic when they usually contain regular life force. This makes the Shadow have a lot of negative effects, which I might explain later if prompted. (Although I most likely will not be prompted.)

Eggs are one of my most favourite food ever. Shame that for me when I eat eggs they also come with a serving of diarrhoea. When I tell people that, they try to prevent me from eating eggs, but like I also have anaphylaxis. I assure you shitting myself excessively because I eat a lot of eggs, is nothing compared to having to go to the hospital because I ate a little stupid cashew accidentally.

Not so much a crack ship as a garbage ship that is on crack like literally on crack the way i'm envisioning it: Shiro/Matt

Like listen, i dont see nearly enough content of any characters being nerds and the possibility for shiro/matt to be absolute dorks is exponential. like. 2 brightest minds of their generation with collectively maybe one(?) braincell between them on a good day. they are traumatised. they are constantly sleep deprived. they both independently got buff because of Space. Questionable relationships with robots. what i'm saying is they would be brilliant for each other and absolutely disasterous for everyone else.

i mean lots of people don't like The Clone (fandom dubbed Kuro)? Babygirl's pretty fucked up. Pretty evil. I like him, he did nothing wrong ever, he was absolutely right lance is annoying(they will come for me with bricks for this.)

look. many many things. but to name one: i think maybe 2-3 minutes more of Ulaz would have been fantastic. the emotional impact would have been incredible. also i like him.

16. what is your favourite ridiculous au

Look in general, not even limited to voltron: legendary disaster, i am a slut for Crack Treated Seriously and Hyperspecifc Job AUs. There's a fic floating around with Shiro as a SecUnit (murderbot diaries AU) which is ridiculous in the sense that in typical vld fashion it completely bulldozed over the queerness and Gender Deconstruction of the murderbot diaries and de-sexualised The Machine, but it still absolutely fucks because it's well-written and a total tear-jerker.

I'm also so so so supportive of Cosmic Horror (this needed to be explored in the show. tragically underused potential of everything and also the massive ancient sentient machines in your brain).

Voltron would have been so good if it was good.

ok party people i have an inquiry

so i love me a conforter/duvet to sleep. i like the weight of it. Anything lighter drives me bonkers (hate the lack of sensory feedback) and weighted blankets are not for me (too much sensory feedback)

And i also really like the thickness of them! I tend to buy one larger than i "need" for my bed so i have extra blanket to bundle up and shove between my arms/legs when i sleep on my side. (kind of replacing a body pillow or like a stuffed animal & a pillow between my knees)

but the issue im having lately is that its making me so so hot in my sleep (i am currently blaming the testosterone bc its never been this big of an issue before)

so i am wondering if theres anyone else with my specific sensory preferences (or smth similar) that may know of a good alternative thats cooler??
