goat has mixed feelings for wolf because they're still really angry at wolf for what happened in the past (they need someone to blame since the bishops aren't here anymore) but wolf is also the only person that knows them well enough that they feel kinda safe with him.

on the other hand wolf is really people pleaser... he feels guilty for what happend to goat and ofthen let them do and treat him ovewer they want without complaining (but i think he would react if goat really exagerate with their vendetta)

i think kal sharok dwarves should be weird about Food. I think for a society that has been cut off from its "parent" civilisation for generations and forced to eat each other & eat darkspawn to survive I think food and eating should take on incredible ritualistic symbolism. I think there should be a culture of cannibalism. I think food wastage should be considered sacrilege and food preparation/gathering should be a sacred duty. I also think these guys should be willing to eat anything and have insanely strong stomachs.

Theta's reasoning for pursuing Blythe is nothing special - she was simply seeking out Elven women with a potential, ones that have not awakened or honed their magical skills as to be molded and influenced (She sees it as teaching a chick to fly).

Like other Hags, Theta believes in the obscenity of love; patron of obsession and possession. She encourages Elven mages to cannibalize their lovers - and is staunch in the belief that consuming another grants their power. Whether or not that belief is fact or fiction is dubious.

the way it always circles back to human sacrifice! neoptolemus sacrificed polyxena at achilles' tomb, he killed priam on zeus' altar, then it's neoptolemus' turn to become the sacrificial meat himself

Just thinking about the foreshadowing in the first 3 episodes of The Terror again as to Goodsir’s fate, what with him performing the autopsy on David Young and trying to save Silna’s dad. How Stanley identifies him as ‘lesser’ (or even ‘other’) due to his training as an anatomist. And just how Goodsir recognizes the bodies he works on as people still even as he’s cutting into them. He was coded as ‘The Butcher’ from the beginning but was fighting against it the whole time

Blackdragon is starting work on making some packaged survival meals for the first leg of our journey towards the crashed ship. He's got a level 8 cooking skill with a minor passion for it. A handy colonist to have, for sure.

In other news, Socks is getting along swimmingly with both Laursen and her cellmate Duchess! At some point, Socks has been converted to our cult, but I must have missed it in all the goings-on. We're working to recruit her now.

In a few days, our violent conversion ritual will be ready again, though, so Blackdragon's catgirl fiancee Duchess had best be prepared...
