My thoughts on

International Women's Day

It's easy to think we can rest on our laurels because some of us get decent jobs and a few women even get to join the military.

But the sad truth is there are people who want to return to a past where the only future for any woman is marriage to a man. The same people who deep down want to tear down not just women's rights but everyone else's rights around them like demolishing homes at a man's whim.
