Random Mihawk Headcanons

Summary: a random collection of Mihawk headcanons

Can’t stop adopting strays to save his life. He’s a sucker for a mangy cat or unwashed pirate. Perona was quite literally the only hygienic guest he’d ever had at his castle. Zoro’s bathhouse allergy only further endeared him to Mihawk. 

Also such a cat person in general. He’s introverted, too. Prefers the peace and quiet, enjoys sitting with a glass of wine, a good book, and a purring cat in his lap. That being said, for whatever reason, he just can’t help but gravitate toward rambunctious dogs who get mud on the carpet (i.e., Shanks). 

In general, has a magnet pull toward things he disdains and even outright despises. In relationship terms, this means he claims to want someone who will make him better, but he will really only go for someone who will make him worse. King of guilty pleasures.

Suffered the loss of someone he loved dearly when he was quite young. Shanks knew the person, too, thus their bond. The person died at the hands of a marine who saw no consequences, thus beginning Mihawk's reign as the dreaded Marine Hunter.

Is actually a horrible shot. Can't fire a gun or bow and arrow to save his life. Claims to dislike these weapons and refuses to fire them because an honorable fight can only take place in close quarters (or something like that) in order to save face. Only Shanks, Beckman, and Zoro know he can't shoot.

Smells so good. Has a fondness for jewels and shiny metal, fine wine, and other such luxuries, but expensive perfume has always been his weakness. A bottle was the first thing he purchased after his first big score as a pirate. 

Complains incessantly about being bored but is such a creature of habit that it’s a cage of his own making, low key. He wants excitement, but he also doesn’t like sleeping in a bed that isn’t his own or sipping wine he doesn’t like from a glass he did not hand select. He’s only grown more particular with age. 

Has a sentimental side. The type to keep small mementos to remind him of various events and people. Sometimes goes back through these mementos when he'd had a bit too much wine to drink. These include everything from his first sword to a copy of Shanks' first wanted poster.

Hates how people act around him- the infamous Mihawk. Be it kissing his ass or tripping over their words because they’re scared, he hates being ogled. Actually bonded with Crocodile over how annoying the masses, as he calls them, are in that regard. 

Claims to hate it when the Red Hair pirates come to stay because they always make a mess of things, but smiles to himself every time he passes the tapestry a drunk Lucky Roux somehow managed to rip a hole in despite its place so high on his wall. 

Though he had a perfectly logical reason for telling Crocodile to spare Buggy, he would have gone to bat for the Clown regardless due to his connection to Shanks, not that he would ever admit to this. Why Shanks is soft on Buggy is completely lost on Mihawk. 

Doesn’t do anything half-assed, and part of that means reading up on everything he does. Gardening? Stack of books. Cooking? Another stack of books. Interior design? More books. 

Total wine snob (obviously). Likes his wine as red as blood and dry as Alabasta. If it’s sweet, he doesn’t consider it to be a wine and scoffs at it. Only respects wine drinkers who share his particular taste. Nearly died when he found Buggy’s cellar full of rosé. 

Has repaired roofs and walls, but is a bit lost on how to decorate his castle beyond high-quality basics (silk sheets, fine glassware, etc.). Would appreciate someone’s thoughts on wall art, fine china, and furniture. 

If Beckman were not in the picture, would take his place as Shanks’ first mate in a heartbeat. Would also never admit this, pretends to hate the idea of being on a crew. Also has sexual tension with Beckman that has never been addressed, probably never will be.

HEADCANON FOR DOFFY'S AND CROCODILE'S HOUSES: Doffy would 100% live in a Spanish revival or Spanish colonial estate. It would look traditional and classic (but not extremelly rustic) on the outside, whereas the interior is a bit more modern, with classical and traditional Spanish elements, but incorporating modern fornitures and decoration, so it looks a bit more contemporary and fashionable. He may include a few 17th/18th cent. and Italian Renaissance elemets to it too, since they look rich and posh and reminds him of home (I just kinda imagine Mary Geoise to have a late 17th and early 18th cent. Spanish & French fashion and style to it, with all the Italian influences that this entails, even if the Château de Chambord that inspired Mary Geoie is from the early 16th century). I imagine his house to look something similar to these ones, but with more vibrant colours to it (more black and red too):

For Crocodile, on the other side, I imagine a Spanish revival or colonial villa, or an Italian/Tuscan mansion, or just a broadly Mediterranean villa, but that looks traditional and a little bit rustic and rural, both in the outside and the inside. He looks classy and uses warm colours, so I think a luxurious and elegant but also rural and warm looking interior would work best for him. Doffy's house would be mostly white with black fornitures, but it would have some accents in red, and some vibrant and saturated blues and purples here and there (mostly around the pool area, maybe even some pink and green/yellow/orange) that contrast with the overall white and black scheme of the house. Crocodile would rather use overall warmer colours, beige, pale yellows, ashy browns and dark grey/black, deep dusty red and orangish, grey-ish blues and pruples, and dark greens, that combined with the use of wood everywhere would give a more rural and rustic vibe to it. Summing up, Doffy would have a traditional exterior (but not rustic looking) and a mixed interior, with more traditional and classic elements mixed with modern elements and some 17/18th cent. luxurious forniture and decoration, with a black and white plus deep red scheme, but accented with bright colours here and there; whereas Crocodile would go full traditional, rustic, and classic, both exterior and interior, with some modern and contemporary elements to it, but in a way that they completely blend with a traditional, rustic, but elegant look, and would use a more dark mutted colour palette to accent a dusty and ashy overlook (only exception a more vibrant brown classic leather armchairs). DCA Info Part 24: Lagniappe Dorm 🐸🎺🪷

Lagniappe (ラグニアーペ寮, Raguniāpe Ryō) was founded on the Ambitions (野心) of the Maiden of the City of Lights and is inspired by the world of The Princess and the Frog. Students of this dorm excel in Culinary Arts and Alchemy.

Dorm Founder: Tiana

Known in-universe as the Maiden of the City of Lights (光の都の乙女).

Dorm Crest

The dorm crest features an emblem with green interior and darker green exterior. The interior features a pale green silhouette of Tiana and Naveen (in his frog form), with the latter ready for a kiss. In the bottom of the interior emblem, there is a lotus flower above a pale yellowish green banner with the dorm's name on it. On top of the exterior emblem, there is a tiara that looks similar to the one Tiana wore with the blue gown. In the background of the exterior emblem, there are various cattail plants with tall grass.

Dorm Leader: Perrine Bousquet

Lagniappe's current dorm leader is Perrine Bousquet, a cheerful young woman who's an amazing cook and enjoys experimenting with different flavors and ingredients.

Dorm Fairy: Lillie

Lillie (リリー, Rirī) is Lagniappe's dorm fairy and vice dorm leader. She has an obsession with beignets and she even has her own personal table where a large serving of beignets are placed. She is a happy-go-lucky fairy who loves to party, any gathering whether big or small she is present and would want to mingle.

Her current appearance is based on Perrine's home life, she always loved to join the crowd and be merry. Her most cherished memory was the time when her family started a catering business and plenty of people smiled because the food was delicious.

Dorm Living Quarters

• The Lagniappe dorm living quarters is located on a huge lake with a very wide river, why? Because the living quarters is actually a cruise ship. It is anchored on a very big lake located near a swamp. The boat is decorated in beautiful festive décor and at night, the lamps that carry fireflies come out at night. Making the scenery so beautiful.

• The students of the dorm would sometimes take small boats that fit two or three people and take a small boat ride around the lake, just taking in the sights.

• There's another boat but it's smaller compared to the dorm ship. This boat is a restaurant that travels along the river that travels down to other dorm living quarters like the Sagamore living quarters and the Coquille living quarters. The boat is called Club Jazz Vanille (ク���ブ・ジャズ・バニール). Students look forward to seeing the restaurant boat because of the food.

• Though the dorm looks so scary at first, with the alligators, crocodiles and snapping turtles swimming about. But they are actually docile since the swamp is filled with plenty of food and the students take duties to feed them.

• So, the wildlife knows that they are here as someone who provides food for them. Some were even climbing on the boat but Perrine handles them by carrying them and gently placing them back at the water. Due to the moss that sometimes can be found in the swamp. They take cleaning seriously and they work hard to keep the ship clean.

• The students of the dorm have a weekly Jazz fest on a saturday night. They play iconic jazz music and dance around so merrily, but there are times they go techno and play remixes and have a dance off. The students would break dance and some of them do it in heels.

Etymology

The dorm's name is derived from the word "lagniappe". Lagniappe was the tradition of giving a tip in Louisiana, especially in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

Headcanons for my One Piece hotties: What their bedrooms look like

Kizaru✨

His bedroom would have a custom bed that would be over ten feet tall to fit this guy. He likes warm colors so dark mahogany wood furniture and cream bedding and curtains. He’d have large walk in closet for all his fabulous suits.

Akainu🌋

He would have a modern Japanese style bedroom, he doesn’t like to hurt his back by sleeping on the floor so he does have a custom made bed. He keeps the colors neutral and even has a plant that he grew himself in his bedroom. The doors of his bedroom open to face the garden.

Ryokugyu 🌱

He’d have a dark green themed bedroom which has dark wooden floors and furniture. He does have a few plants in his bedroom and the room is well lit because he needs a lot of sunlight in the mornings to feel like himself.

Fujitora 🐅

He has a pretty simple bedroom as he doesn’t see the need to have anything extravagant as long as it’s comfortable that’s all the matters to him. He does prefer a simple Japanese style bedroom.

He favored a dark and sexy bedroom with large windows that look out at the desert. He has a walk in closet attached to his room which

He likes a simple and clean bedroom with light colors and wooden floors. He likes that he has a view of the countryside from his bedroom and it puts him in a real good mood when he wakes up.

He has a bedroom with high ceilings for obvious reasons and a very cozy bed so when he lay on it, it feels like a marshmallow (probably made out of it too). He likes a blend of light and dark colors with large windows so that his room is brightly lit.

He likes a simple and rustic style bedroom with warm colors that isn’t too much for him to deal with. He just wants to rest there and then he leaves so he doesn’t put too much effort into making it too special.

Kaido🐉

He likes something simple but still a little bit classy with high ceilings. He never really had much luxury in his life so he does enjoy having that when he goes to rest if he can make it to his room at the very least. He wanted strong wood floors and huge bed that could handle his weight. He didn’t care for the coyotes as long as he had a balcony to step out on, it was fine.

King👑

He would have a bedroom that was dark and sexy (like him omg King) with selected artworks that he found when he travelled to different lands. The bedding needs to be high quality so that they don’t hurt his sensitive wings and fire proof too. He has a bookshelf with several books that he’s currently reading.

Queen👑

He would have a bedroom that is comfortable for the ladies and himself. He definitely would have a jacuzzi to entertain his company when he has them around. He likes dark colors and super comfy blankets.

Izou🔫🔫

He likes a simple and elegant room with a feminine touch to it. He definitely has a walk in closet where he stores all his beautiful kimonos and make up. He has several floor length mirrors in his room so that he can see himself in different angles.

Dragon D Monkey🐉🐒

He wanted something that still had quite a bit of light coming in and a comfortable bed that doesn’t hurt his bad. He likes neutral colors that don’t stand out too much. He also has some chairs in there so that he could sit and read from time to time.

Okay this build took me approximately 87 thousand years but I finally did it! There's literally no good references online for the interior of this house so I was constantly going back and forth between the sims and my own re7 game to try and make this build as accurate as possible. The only things I didn't include were the basement and the garage because fuck going back into the basement.

This build is also pre-mold, so what I assume the house looked like before it became a hellhole. This build does have CC, but I tried to use as little as possible, so in reality if you want to, you only have to download around 11 objects. I hope you all like it!

Вот. Наконец то закончил раскрашивать набросок к строчкам песни "про Джина" Высоцкого. Сначала хотел нарисовать натюрморт (стол с разными вкусностями и все это в декорациях кухни (о том, что дело происходит на кухне говорит холодильник, который я срисовывал с яндекс картинок). Потом решил картинку расширить, добавив к очерченной стене некоторые детали интерьера и вспомнив текст песни, добавил джина, что появляется из бутылки с вином, которую своим хвостом охомутал зеленый змий.

Here. I finally finished coloring the sketch for the lines of the song "about Gin" by Vysotsky. At first I wanted to draw a still life (a table with various goodies and all this in the kitchen decorations (the fact that it happens in the kitchen says the refrigerator, which I copied from Yandex pictures). Then I decided to expand the picture by adding some interior details to the outlined wall and remembering the lyrics of the song, I added a gin that appears from a bottle of wine, which was wrapped by a green snake with its tail.

She snickered coyly before continuing, "And I'll use Ms. Emily's name however I please. She's not here to contest it, is she? Better off without her though, my Attic is only big enough for one Bride and everyone knows who the prettier of us is." Constance appeared thoughtful for a moment, looking around, "I mean, she certainly had no concept of interior decorating. All black? No pastels?" The Black Widow Bride shrugged her shoulders with a huff and a shake of her head, "And you act as though my dear Ambrose is no longer with us. That couldn't be further from the truth. Now, unlike you, MY husbands still belong to me, and to me alone, entirely." She raised a hand, to reveal the glimmering wedding rings still on her fingers, "I take offense to that insinuation, you know? They still very much love me, even now. They'll even die for me. Again and again." A twisted scowl crossed her distorted face with a cackle, "Oh, but they ARE mine, absolutely. I keep them safely under lock and key. They gave themselves to me freely of their own accord. They should've known what they were getting into. Whatever happened to them was their own fault. Would you hold the crocodile accountable for it's actions when the tightrope walker just jumps into it's jaws?" She sighed again, a bemused expression now on her face. "But even now, despite their foolishness, I forgive them. That's what a marriage is about, isn't it? 'Unconditional love'? 'Til Death Do Us Part'? Well, we're long dead anyway, but it still stands, even in un-death."

"You know, Constance, in spite of what you think, looks aren't everything," Randall replied, sticking his tongue out. "Emily fell for me because I was a kind, dependable, supportive man who loved her not for her money, but because she was compassionate, gentle, and independent. She always told me she thought I was handsome, even after death, but it's what's inside that counts. You, on the other hand, are just ugly inside and out. You still haven't told me what brand of hair dye you use-whatever it is, it doesn't convince me that you're a natural blonde.

And my bride is not only more beautiful than you-inside and out," he continued, narrowing his eyes at her. "She's also far more terrifying than you'll ever be!
