Hello everyone :). I drew here, a new character in the style of Peanuts comics named Silent. By nature, he is quiet and calm, loves music of various genres (Reggae, Rock, , bard songs and other music). He often wears headphones, which helps him hide from the negativity from his sister (Lucy the megaphone is his sister and looks like Lucy Van Pelt from the original Schultz comics in grumpy character). Speaking of similarities to the original...Silent is similar to Linus (or Linus..What's the right thing to do?) the fact that both are prone to isolation sometimes. In other words, if Linus was hiding under a blanket, then Silent does not part with headphones. Before, he (my character) flashed in one of my comics, which I will also attach to this post.

Continuing the theme of tabletop role-playing games, I would like to mention one of the representatives of the monsters of the world of "Dungeons and Dragons". It's about a monster like a Lich. A brief summary of him: A Lich is a Risen dead man with the ability to do magic. His whole life is contained inside a special artifact. If the artifact is broken, then the Lich will die. One of the representatives of Slavic folklore, Koschei the immortal, fits this description of the monster. In fact, he is also a risen dead man who had an artifact- a needle on the end of which his whole life was based. .

I read a book by Miguel de Cervantes about the Knight Don Quixote of La Mancha. This is a story about a nobleman who decided to become a knight errant and took a simple peasant named Sancho Panso as his squire. Reveling in stories about the epic adventures of fictional hero knights, a 50-year-old Spanish nobleman decides to join the knights errant, following the canons of chivalry described in epic novels. However, on the way he encounters various ridiculous situations in which everyone around him plays along and eventually everything turns into a live-action role-playing game* (* This is when people put on costumes and try on the appearance of other characters).

The most adequate, I think, were Sancho Panso, the priest and the barber (friends of Don Quixote), who join the game of the crazy knight. He is a complete idiot and can make a mistake anywhere (when he met the torturer of a young shepherd boy, he did not rat on a turnip to a rampaging peasant, but only threatened violence, thinking that he saved the boy from further mockery (in fact, no.), and seeing a convoy of criminals on the way, he mistook them for slaves who were being taken to galleys and freed them after fighting with the convoy guards. And the scene where, as a helmet, he uses a shaving basin (moreover, someone else's) and claims that this is the helmet of a knight named Mambrin, and in general the helmet-basin is a relic. And the scene in the field, where the same "knight" mistook two herds of sheep for opposing armies (And killed both armies..That is, both herds ...).

I remember telling you that I watched a movie about the soldier Schweik.. So, Schweik is much cooler than Don Quixote. Unlike nedo knight, Schweik, although he got into trouble, but using wit, charisma (and a pinch of his idiocy, in a good way), managed to get out of the most serious situations. Finally:The book about the adventures of a role-playing knight is one big fantasy joke. I saw this kind of banter in the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but that's a completely different story...

Three friends are playing a board game, and some board games have classes like Cleric, Warrior, Thief, Mage and many others. A man with a third eye and a pendant around his neck is a Magician, a man in a helmet is a Warrior, a man in a hood is a Thief (as a rule in fantasy, thieves hide their faces behind hoods and mouthbands.
