i'm just going to ask this because i want to see if i'm alone on this one or not (and warning i'm going to be explicit because there's no other way)

some days ago one person in my fandom posted a fic about oral sex with the bsd characters and the title was that, like, straight up that sentence. and for the record i thought: well i've seen this concept a milion times already, even me i wrote about this a lot of times, nothing new (i even made a bet with myself saying: surely it's going to be the ''does he prefer to give or recieve'' type of fic that was really popular in anime fandoms years ago lmao)

well in any case, it wasn't that specific fic troupe but it alternated between giving and recieving between certain characters. and as i read through it, even if it was good, i thought to myself once more, bro, i've seen this a milion times already. just pwp, the same concept, since i was 17 or so.

and what a surprise when i check the notes. 700, 37 reblogs.

and my problem with this comes here, because, i feel so frustraetd whenever i try to do the same concept, even if it has been reused 100 of times, just because newer stuff doesn't work well for small accounts like mine, because they get ignored. but suddenly, when another account does the same idea i wanted to do, they get so much interaction? like how do you even manage that? i'm 100% sure i could post the same and not even get 10 reblogs (because it has happened) and suddenly another acc does it and they get so many

i'm a petty bitch ik but like- i dont get it. new stuff doesn't work because it's either too much or it gets ignored, the same concept doesn't work either because it's been seen too many times and gets ignored as well, but would you look at that, a bigger account or even someone who only has 100 followers more than me has that many interactions

then this writers come to you saying that interactions don't matter lmfao

My darling love,, don’t even worry about that, I totally get how you feel, this is pretty much universal since it happens in ALL of the fandoms I guess. This is more common in the HOTD fandom than you think!!

Interactions are absolutely fundamental to us writers. And anyone who says otherwise either doesn’t want to admit it, is trying to cheer you up or smth, or I don’t know — but it’s not wrong at all to admit we not only write for our own satisfaction, but as well for interaction. Interaction is what keeps us motivated to write more things, knowing people will see and appreciate your effort by commenting, reblogging, or liking your work.

In the HOTD fandom it happens the exact same. Maybe you write headcanons, or a one shot with a particular plot for a particular character (or several), and maybe you get... At a maximum, 80 notes. But a popular acc does it? They are exploded in notes. 30 reblogs, 300+ likes, 15 comments. Good for them! But perhaps it’s the same reused plot thousands of times and no one even cares about small writers, they just straight up go praising the big accs and exploding them in interactions, while smaller accs are left out.

And for small writers, seeing people favouring certain accounts more than others, that just lowers your motivation and makes you feel like shit; sometimes even making you want to stop writing. So yes, interactions do matter despite anyone else saying otherwise. And trust me I get how you feel because it happened to me so many times that it made me feel awful, like some people don’t even TRY to focus on smaller, new writers. :/

I like one sided ships in a way where theres canon interactions, but it will never be canon canon. Examples; Carlonty, Melverica, Hyuluka being my 3 main otps that when someone asks why I like them im just like "ho idk"

Carlonty rant - I understand why a lot of people dislike Carlonty, and at first, I didn't. Then it kinda grew on me, on a rivalry kinda dynamic. I know I know, Carla doesn't like him back, and she highly never will (I mean like??? Obvi she asked to destroy his fucking wheelchair???) But its kinda like a one sided pining that i adore in a lot of ships, if they ever did date it would 100% be for carlas benefit and she would only date him as a way to get something (e.g. the end of things that go boom when she agrees to date him for him to modify the bomb for her). It could grow into her eventually liking him back, but again, very unlikely lmao

Melverica rant - Erica is a lesbian and Melvin can't accept that (i still like the ship if its in a rivals to lovers dynamic tho 🗣🗣)

Hyuluka - This is me being drawn to toxic dynamics entirely, Luka's undying love and devotion towarda Hyuna never dying down no matter how many times Hyuna refused. Sjsjs hear me out, I've been thinking a lot about your AU since it came out‼️🗣

Kyle would be making a lot of rude comments and jokes about Bill's face, those two have so many online beef that it wouldn't stop Kyle from speaking up his mind, sharing and not letting die the topic of Bill's face among his 4-chan servers and friend groups. He won't apologize by the way, Kyle haves a lot to work on himself but I'm pretty sure he would still hate Bill not matter what happens to him.

On the other hand, although Fal hasn't made an appearance in the anime, there is a character identical to him called Fav, the voice is made by Kurumi Mamiya

★ With Snow i would say that not protecting her friends... She has lost too many allies, many of them really close friends. In the Beginning of the end, we can see her extremely protective towards Wolfbell because:

1- Wolfbell reminds her to her powerless self when she was still alive

2- She doesn't want to make the same mistakes. She's already dead, so she can risk without worrying for her own life

Fal… The death of a certain person, and of course the death of Snow herself. This person... Basically, she was someone that Fal involved without knowing what was really happening and who ended up perishing despite having nothing to do with the matter. A victim he condemned by mistake

My first BSD OC Blaire Orwell! Obviously a pretty easy author to start off with. I already got a ton but i'm waiting to reveal them once I finish the concept art.

I never realized just how skinny people in the BSD artstyle, I always subconciously only actively thought about it with Chuuya.

Ability: "Big Brother"

She can observe literally anywhere, her physical body will stay wherever she is, but she can see and hear any place of her choosing or even people so long as she has the correct information.

In order to observe a person she must have their full name, and know their appearance. And for places a proper address. She cannot interact with the space she's observing in any way, but she can hear and see anything in the space like she was there. Basically an all seeing security system.

I imagine since she's a literal walking national security threat she's probably with some government organization, probably the American government, but I can imagine she either defected to the Guild or some other organization for some freedom from being a government tool. She probably got Louise all the intel Louise needed to make her plans, the informant of all time 🗣

Genderbended cause I like drawing women, and if Asagiri can genderbend Kyouka, Kouyou, and H.G Wells, than I can genderbend George Orwell all I want. Blaire is part of his real name anyways.

As for personality, I can imagine she's intelligent and perceptive and has learned multiple languages to spy worldwide. But as a ex-government agent that was probably kept isolated to keep her information secret and confidential, she probably always wished to actually be where she observed with her ability. So probably acts more like a curious teen tham a hardened agent like they wished. Curious, adventurous, most definitely weak in physical strength af so has to rely on avoiding conflict no matter how much she'd love to throw hands.

Once she defected the government and joined the Guild until is disolution, she probably was the most incompetent, besides intel she was kinda useless. Observing and actually doing things are different, so compared to the a lot of the Guild she probably was the most childishly positive.
