Strip

Strip! Strip! Strip! Strip! Voices in my head shouted in unison My mind was drenched in tension The urge to seek attention I was loosing all reason A thousand men garrison Staring at my act of passive aggression I am the loot of their treason Strip! Strip! Strip! Strip! Their voices blent into my thoughts Doubling the effect I was their skinny meat To be eaten with eyes I stripped cloth by cloth Until I had just bare skin Tears rolled through their lustful eyes As they saw my body scars One for the dagger wound Another for the bullet wound Another for the fire burn Another for the father’s whims Another for the street dog bite And another for the prison’s torture Wounds like satan tattoos That made me tough and ugly Wounds that this society marked on me Wounds no one saw under my shirt and skirt Wounds that I want these men to remember for life...
