Poppy and I had a fabulous time at the London Doll Meet yesterday. It was so nice to meet fellow doll enthusiasts. Thank you to the Doll Foundry for organising it. Image Description a photo of a Poppy Parker doll dressed in a blue and white sweetheart dress sitting in a pink deckchair.
Happened across a (clearly rebodied) Loni Lawrence (as Sebina Havoc) on eBay this morning and, wow, hair breaking off at the root? I'd ask if that's even possible, but given how much glue-y shit IT puts in their dolls' hair (in this case, glue-y shit that's been in hair for 10 years now and likely was never washed) yeah, could see that happening easily. brb washing out Jolie James and Ginger Gilroy's hair now.
Also looks like she was rebodied on a FR 4.0 Japan-toned body...? Have a Poppy 1.5 body in the FR White this might match (since FR White lately is woefully inconsistent I've heard) so no need to wait for a body this time.
Much as I'd like to give Loni a new hair color because I'm kinda tired of blonde haired caucasian dolls at this point already, it might be better to try and replicate the OG look.
Loni will be added to the queue of "dolls to redo" after JHD Gloria is 100% done (rerooting is finished; just waiting on the Mengf body from AliExpress), started on giving my Brimming with Blossoms Poppy new hair, and then there's a Jasper Jagger that I want to do something with, but haven't fully decided. Regardless, she's gonna have to wait until after TennoCon in July.
And apparently, it's now become a thing for me to get all of Poppy's supporting cast in some form or another lmao. Guess I should track down or wait for Chip, Sergio, Darla, and Tina? :T
