gonna talk about lore for a second cause it's eating away at me here

this is all entirely personal and 80% made up with zero basis other than the ongoing au for hermitcraft/life in my head, btw. Grian has steadily been getting more confident and dangerous with his powers since the end of season 8. He was terribly afraid of them and refused to use them for the first few years after Evo, and it took a long time during season 9 for him to be more comfortable. Each life series he gets more and more powerful and has more influence over the game. He's still not on the side of the watchers themselves.

In season 10, he uses it casually. He sits on the dock and mentally flies around the server to check on everyone. He can jump in and out of worlds and universes. He can stop time and talk to people in their dreams. Pearl has some powers as well, though she is not a true watcher in the sense and thus isn't quite the same as Grian. I was thinking about Taurtis, and how he made Grian and probably Pearl into what they are, and how he's the reason the watchers are so obsessed with Grian and his group specifically - becayse though Taurtis has lost most of what made him human, forgotten his human form and thinks mostly as a powerful entity, he still has this connection and ties to the other Evo players.

Which is why Grian and Pearl want to kill him. Permanently. They cause a rip in the world borders of Hermitcraft, and Taurtis comes to them, and during the fight something goes wrong and Taurtis ends up posessing Grian. He's now sort of two people, with Taurtis able to control him sometimes, but Grian powerful enough to fight it off. This small disruption in the world is enough for the watchers to trap the players into Wild Life.

Grian/Taurtis choose the wild cards. Grian knows what is going to happen, yet is somewhat powerless to stop it. He's in this sort of interal war while also trying to keep his friends alive (and failing miserably). Scar, who believes the canary curse being broken last time is what let him beat the watchers (he won instead of Gem, the one who the watchers wanted), is working dsperately to stop Jimmy from dying.

Pearl is the only one who knows about Grian. She's keeping quiet, waiting for the right moment to intervene again, like she did last season. They always keep their distance from each other because they know they're the ones who can sort of protect everyone as best they can from the watchers, and it works better when they are spread out. Their alliance is very thin at best. Despite their powers, they don't trust each other.

And Bigb, once again, is there to observe. He is not a watcher, or a listener, but something else, a 3rd being that the watchers keep a careful eye on. He could end everything, if he wanted, he wasn't even intended to be there, but he chooses to go along with it, for reasons unknown to anyone but him. He is not allied with the watchers, but he does nothing to prevent their attacks. Nobody knows where he came from, or where he goes when the games are over. He is merely there.

Having a rough time so have some spec evo crumbs that have been sitting in the squidcord for months that I only just got around to drawing to distract myself with

Teeth fall out regularly and are quickly replaced.

Only Minor and Minor/intercaste (more on this below the line) have feeding Tentacles.

Feeding Tentacles are stiffer than your regular tenties and remain in pockets when not in use. The ends also have very small teeth for gripping, they feel like velcro.

Teeth are dull but their jaws are for crushing bone so it doesnt matter.

"Venom" (bone melting enzyme) is black, sticky, and viscous, can be spit but is always a last resort. Most bites are dry bites.

Claws come out of the tip of the finger as apposed to the top like humanoids

Like cats and dogs, Illithid have a quick, if damaged it will bleed (a lot)

Claws dull with use and must be taken care of to be sharp

Caste System

The Primordial Illithid society resembled that of an ant colony but on a smaller scale, their species naturally came in three basic castes that had their own biological functions. The modern Terrestrial illithids have retained the physical characteristics of their ancestors, though are now much smaller, and they no longer serve any function in their society.

The three base castes are:

Major

Height Range: 6'8 - 7'5

Prey species: Humans, Half Orcs, Dragonborn, High Elves, Tiefling

Physical Traits: Longer tentacles, Longer and usually pointed braincase

Birthrate: 1

Media

Height Range: 5'7 - 6'9

Prey species: Humans, Elves, Tiefling, Drow

Physical Traits: Medium tentacles, Rounded head, Most often have "beaks" - but not always, this trait is seen less with each generation.

Birthrate: 3

Minor

Hight Range: 4'5 - 5'9

Prey Species: Gnomes, Halflings, dwarves, Drow

Physical Traits: Shorter tentacles, Longer and pointed braincase.

Birthrate: 4

Minors have a few unique features and are the most faithful to their home world ancestors, the first being two long and thin feeding tentacles that remain retracted in their throats until they find prey, and two specially adapted tentacles on their forehead used as communication displays, these two traits have been entirely lost on the other two castes, Despite these 4 extra "tentacles" they are not to be mistaken for Ulitharids. Minors are also extremely rare outside of colonies despite being the most plentiful caste, this is due to their function in their original society as caretakers and homemakers, a Minor is more likely to take re-education over expulsion due to their social needs and most renegade Minors tend to be Inter-caste.

Each caste is biologically inclined to its individual food items, even with free access to enthralled meals of any race, they will usually stick to their preferred prey.

Three additional castes:

Ulitharid

Height Range: A foot above the intended caste's average height

Prey Species: Humans, Elves, Tieflings, Dragonborn, Half Orcs

Physical traits: Two additional tentacles, usually thinner but longer than the main four.

Birthrate: 0.002

Any caste can become an Ulitharid.

Inter-caste Inter-caste is the closest thing you will get to a hybrid when it comes to Illithid. Each tadpole holds the full range of natural genetic code and has the potential to become any caste, what determines the end result is the tadpole's lineage; If the parent was a Media, the child will also be a Media. In the case of Inter-caste, however, one or two traits from one of the other castes may unintentionally come through. This can result in a Major with shorter tentacles or an unusually tall Minor.

Apex (more on Apex Illithid found here) Illithid super soldiers. Built like a tank with an intelligence to match, while their psionics are rather basic, they make up for it with an insane might and an ingrained determination to get the job done. Very rare and will ALWAYS be pure Majors.

None of these castes are natural, Ulitharids and Apex specifically did not exist until Elderbrains took over the race and while inter-castes did happen on occasion, they were much rarer before the Illithids were domesticated.

Other traits unrelating to castes:

Illithid DNA is very malleable and significant changes can be made in a single generation, while Elderbrain aren't the best at gene editing some differences can clearly be seen between colonies. The most noticeable example is their foot configuration: while Illithid living in a more aquatic environment will have the standard two webbed toes tipped with a large claw, their somewhat "dryer" cousins may sport a more humanoid approach with 3-4 webbed toes in the traditional Illithid style. A mindflayer with Human hands or feet however would be seen as deformed.

Snarky superpowered teenage protagonist? Rex has that in spades (like Danny)

Parents experimented on him? Check (DP fans wish)

A mysterious thing that no one knows much about but it causes unexpected changes in a person? (Nanites are like ectoplasm but scarier imo)

Main character abducted and used by a terrifying government agency? Providence got their grips in him when he was like 10 (they actually caught theirs, take that Guys in White!)

Smart but a little crazy older sibling character? Meet Cesar (our chaotic neutral Jazz)

Scary and powerful mentor figure with a hidden soft side? That’s Six (and he’s actually a regularly recurring mentor unlike *select ghost you wish was Danny’s mentor*)

Main character is part of a highly discriminated against group which is generally not considered human? Here we call them Evos (they’re like ghosts except death would be preferable)

Main character specifically and almost exclusively fights his own kind? Yeah, and Rex can actually cure them instead of just sending them away for two episodes.

Arch nemesis with similar powers to the hero? Van Kleiss walks in, blood-red flowers blooming in his footsteps. (Vlad could never)

We’re initially led to believe the hero is the only good guy in the discriminated against group until it’s revealed that that’s not the case at all.

Plus, there’s kind of a lot of body horror. There’s betrayal. There’s peril. There’s sympathetic villains. Theres a deeply terrifying and yet incredibly intriguing world. A crossover with another series about superheroes (Ben 10, though, not DC). There’s a pile of dead bodies on screen in the first episode—that’s not even hyperbole I’m being 100% literal with you right now.

It even has some inter-dimensional travel shenanigans including a town being pulled into a pocket dimension and leaving no trace. No cloning as far as I can remember though, but it does have a giant mutant rabbit, and the main character even sucks at basketball!

As an added bonus, it was targeted to 10-13 year olds and eventually taken off the air because it scared children : )

It’s everything your average Danny Phantom fan spends hours reading fanfiction about! I’m telling you! I cannot recommend this show highly enough!

I stumbled upon your Evo Pantheon AU and I come offering a headcanon. This kinda depends on them being able to hear prayers and that they pay attention to them tho. What if they sometimes used prayer to each other to communicate over long distances. I imagine it isn't used much tho, as prayers and or people saying their names probably has a weird feeling or echo in their head, so it's probably only used in emergencies or it's vital to get info from one person to another really quickly but they're far apart, or inter-server communication

I had thought that the members of EVO should have a way to call out to each other across servers, but this is a perfect way to do it.

Headcanon accepted.

The listening aligned gods are much better at picking up on prayers, so it's more common for the Evolutionists to send messages through prayer to the listening gods such as Martyn or Jimmy. But it's used for all of them in dire circumstances.

Grian hates the feeling of prayers the most, having never been quite comfortable with the words prickling under his skin. He is most likely to just tune out most prayers, though he always acknowledges anything he gets from other EVO gods.

Every so often, as the person most comfortable with prayers, Jimmy will start getting a prayer from another Evolutionist in the middle of an interaction with a Player on Empires. He ends up needing to step away in those moments so that he can Listen closely to the prayer and then respond. Since he's most comfortable with the sensation of getting a prayer, he's the one most often called to for frivolous or social things instead of emergencies.

Returning Players Back In FC 25

Some of our favourite players will be making their return to Ultimate Team this year and we can’t wait to get them into Evolutions… All of these players have now returned to clubs that are included in FC 25 so we see no reason for them not to be included. Before we get started we do need to mention one omission, Alex Morgan announced her retirement last night meaning we don’t think we’ll be seeing her in FC 25. 

Icons

Two of the big names in the Icon Class of 25 are Gianluigi Buffon and Gareth Bale. Some of our favorite players are now Icons, we’re getting old now and it’s not fun. It won’t be long before we see Messi and Ronaldo back as Icons…

Heroes

Arguably the Hero lineup for FC 25 looks more exciting than the Icons, with Hazard, Hamsik, and Maicon coming back just to name a few. The full list of heroes returning to Ultimate Team includes; Jamie Carragher, Guti, Marek Hamsik, Eden Hazard, Tim Howard, Maicon, Blaise Matuidi, Mohammed Noor, and Ze Roberto. 

Luis Suarez

After linking up with Lionel Messi at Inter Miami last season we did expect Suarez to be added half way through 24 but we were left disappointed. Hopefully, after 9 months of MLS action, we’ll be seeing Luis in Ultimate Team from day one this year.

David De Gea

The Spaniard left Manchester United in 2023, and since then David De Gea has found it hard to find a new club and in fact had to wait more than 12 months to find a suitor. He headed to Italy to join up with Fiorentina in an attempt to revive his career, looks to be a really solid Serie A option, especially for your starter teams!

James Rodriguez

The boy is back. After a 3 year stint away from Ultimate Team, with Al-Rayyan, Olympiakos, and Sao Paulo, James Rodriguez is back on our consoles. After an incredibly successful Copa America where he’d register MOTM in nearly enough every game and take home the Player of The Tournament award, he’s landed a move back to Spain with Rayo Vallecano. 

Jesse Lingard 

JLingz has been enjoying life in South Korea for the past season and with that we expect him to be included in FC 25. Unfortunately, we do think he’ll receive a slight downgrade to a Silver but just like all of these players, one Evo or SBC will make them incredible.

Arturo Vidal

Vidal x Boateng x Alaba was a FIFA 17 partnership for the ages and with the Chilean’s move to Colo-Colo in January of this year, it could be his time to return. This is one we think is nailed on for a couple of special cards, especially an early Flashback…

Douglas Costa

We said the same thing last year and he didn’t arrive, but even after a year and a half in MLS, Douglas Costa wasn’t added to FC 24. He has just made the switch to Australia, singing with Sydney FC so hopefully, this is the year we see his return. Just don’t ask what he’s up to off the pitch…

Juan Mata

A late entrant to this list is Juan Mata, with his move to Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League being announced yesterday. This is the one player we’re a little unsure about returning. In each of the last two seasons, he has been eligible for inclusion in UT after lining up for Vissel Kobe and Galatasaray, but just like his move down under, these have been completed in September which might just be too late to be added to the database.

La mia crema all’aglio Oggi mi sono dilettato a farmi una buona e delicata crema all’aglio, da poter utilizzare come insaporitore per ogni occasione, dalle verdure alla griglia(piastra), alla carne alla brace, per il pesce ed ogni uso a piacimento. E’ stato facilissimo prepararla. Per farne una piccola quantità per uso familiare, ho sbucciato due intere teste d’aglio(di ottima qualità, se possibile aglio rosso o proveniente dal sud ancora più profumato) e le ho messe in una pentola a vapore, cuocendole a vapore per 20 minuti(devono avere ancora una certa consistenza, non mollicce e scotte). Dopo di che, le ho messe in un piccolo contenitore con 2cucchiai di buon olio evo, un pizzico di sale e due cucchiai di brodo vegetale caldo. Ho passato tutto al minipiner, fino a creare una crema densa e spalmabile. La crema va frullata ancora calda in modo che l’olio si amalgami bene con l’olio ed il brodo. Assaggiate e verificatene la consistenza e delicatezza, nonché il profumo. Ora è pronta per insaporire ogni vostro piatto.

‘PREKID POSTUPKA NIJE OSLOBAĐAJUĆA PRESUDA!’ Evo što će biti s mališanima, Hrvati iz Zambije stižu ipak kući: ‘Imaju 48 sati da napuste državu’

Sud u Zambiji je odbacio optužnice protiv osmero Hrvata koji su u Zambiji optuženi za trgovinu djecom. U ponedjeljak su se pojavili na sudu u Ndoli, na novom ročištu u suđenju na kojem ih se teretilo za trgovinu djecom. Sud je odbacio optužbe te su oni oslobođeni svih optužbi. Ipak, državni odvjetnik Mahape Libakeni zatražio je obustavu slučaja, koju mu je sudac Dominic Makalicha i odobrio te je prilikom donošenja presude naglasio kako “prekid postupka nije oslobađajuća presuda”.    

A što s djecom?

Ministarstvo vanjskih i europskih poslova potvrdilo je da je nadležni sud u Ndoli odbacio optužnicu protiv hrvatskih državljana. “U roku od 48 sati dužni su napustiti Republiku Zambiju. U povratku u Hrvatsku, kao i tijekom cijelog dosadašnjeg postupka, nadležna tijela osigurat će hrvatskim državljanima svaku potrebnu pomoć”, priopćili su. Pretpostavljamo da nije bilo inkriminirajućih elemenata pa je zato odbačena”, rekao je. “Naravno da je naš sljedeći korak iskazati zaštitu i brigu za djecu koja imaju hrvatske dokumente”, rekao je. “Ovo treba pozdraviti ako je tako, da su oni pušteni”, dodao je. Also previous season of Hermitcraft are probably in this timeline, but I wanted to keep it simple..

Area Unknown as Scott know of the existence of Xornoth and Blood Sheep.. I assume it would be around the same time as Esmp 2 as Shelby also knows of a Xornoth.

And it canon that the characters looks exactly the same despite taking place at different times or in different universes.

Esmp Pearl and Hermit 8 Pearl seem to be connected, as her Season 8 build is her home in Heaven when Oli comes to see her.

The Hermits are deities that try to live with mortals, maybe..? Add that to the Gem, Sun Deity headcanon.. Gem the Sun and Pearl the Moon!

And it can be inferred that Dream Smp is connected in this timeline, most likely in a alternative universe, as Seapeekay also considered MCC canon. Bear Smp is also canon to Dream Smp though Aimsey and Niki .. We can also assume that the other of the Traffic Life series is canon .. somehow..

What I’m basically getting at is Empires Smp have destroy the timeline of the Mcyt Dimension Cinematic Universe.

Anyway I’m the world reincarnation is canon, you look pretty much exactly the same as your past lives, and parallel version of tho characters exist in alternative dimension, and ever characters share the same name.
