**It’s a privilege** to look forward to the launch of the new iPhone 16, while people in the DRC face modern-day slavery, mistreatment, and abuse as they mine the very minerals that power our cherished phones. Zoya Reebye, founder of Let’s Talk WOC, sheds light on the unimaginable hardships women in the Democratic Republic of the Congo endure in the mines. From being underpaid to facing a rising rate of sexual assault, these women live through a humanitarian crisis the world must not ignore. Even as teenagers, **we can make an impact** by amplifying the voices of those working in the DRC, raising awareness, and holding companies accountable for their actions. 1. **Raise awareness** about the situation in the DRC. The more people know, the more pressure we can put on those responsible. 2. **Be mindful** of your consumer choices. 3. **Do your research.** Investigate the supply chains of companies you buy from, choose refurbished or secondhand electronics, and recycle your devices responsibly. Let’s strive for a world where our technology is not built on exploitation.

i personally think he is socially incompetent for a few reasons, one being kids his age not wanting to interact with him when he was younger, two being his parents not being social either.

many parents take their kids out to the park or on walks to socialize their kids and allow a development of their social skills- i don't think his parents did that. His parents would have rather he entertain himself at home where they didnt have to watch him all the time, and they didnt want to interact with others. That, mixed with the teasing of other kids, meant Könic grew up with literally zero social skills.

in highschool he didnt get to get close to girls because he freaked them out, so he never knows the difference between a liking for a person and love. no friends, save for a few online geeks with similar interests. i feel like he would be a discord moderator >_<

he's so silly i think he'd be overjoyed to get a genuine friend. like a popular kid gives him a chance and theyre best friends.

This has just sparked something inside my filthy brain. Online-friend!König who hides his identity, occasionally using photos of attractive men to hide his ill-favoured appearance. He'll ramble to you about your shared interests, playing video games together and claiming that his microphone and webcam are broken, so that he has an excuse not to speak or show his face. He can't hold a conversation for the life of him... He'll get off to the sound of your innocent rambling, how you obliviously gush about your favourite video games to him!

So, I found a b2 supplement I can take and not react to the fillers (Thorne brand, not sponsored), and after taking it for a month, I've noticed it does seem to have an effect on my migraines.

I'm still getting 1-3 migraines a month when my hormones fluctuate, but I have noticed a significant reduction in pain since I started taking the b2. Brain fog is still a nightmare (see Migraine Daddy post 😂), but the pain is more of a normal headache and not dropping me to the floor.

Supposedly you don't see significant results until you've been on a high dose of b2 for about 3-4 months (my neurologist suggested 400mg), but given that I am actually deficient in b2 thanks to my MCAS, fixing the deficiency seems to be helping by itself.

So who knows, maybe in a few months, I'll see better results.

I know I really need to be taking a methylated B complex at this point, but they all have biotin in them, and any increase in my biotin intake just makes me sick as a dog. I thought at first it was because it was a histamine liberator, but so is methyl folate/folic acid and I've been able to tolerate that okay. Idk. Bodies are weird.
