Throwback to two years ago when Anchor switched from glass bottles to cans. Had to commemorate this bc those bottles were unlike any others; they had a unique feel and weight that I just liked for some reason. Now, when I hear that, after 127 years @anchorbrewing will be closing their doors, I had to go and find those pics. Part 2 of making Cataphractii assault terminators:

Weapon arm and first model

Still taking the weapons from the Vanguard Veterans kit, I started with the hammer arm. The lightning claws could obviously be taken from the original kit.

I once again had two options. Using the original Cataphractii hand, cutting away the storm bolter and attaching the seperated weapon options, or just using the preattached hand. I decided against the first option, because it would have been a massive pain for an instabe build.

The Vanguard hand fit quite well, but needed a bit of modeling material to stand out a bit.

I am quite happy with this solutipn, since it also solved the problem of the smaller wrist by smoothing out the putty a little.

After that I assembeled the rest of the mini as usual (with a littke sculpting on the tassils, because I had green stuff left over from the hand) and can now present you a rough fit of the first mini

I was a little concerned with the shoulder plate on the hammer hand, but it fit under it quite well. It also would have been possible to offset the angle of the hammer a little, but it wasn't necessary for me.

Once again I would be happy about more tipps or ideas :)

Recently @stonebrewing sent us some of their Patio Magic Double IPA. Overall, this one has notes of floral, white grape, tropical and orange citrus, stone fruit (mostly strawberries), and a bit of cannabis like dankness. Consider this one with some rotisserie chicken, a salted pork, or a plate of field greens complimented by candied orange peel, almonds, dehydrated papaya, and teriyaki chicken. . . . More Out of the can @stonebrewing Patio Magic Double IPA produces a strong, off-white head, resting on a pool of orange clarity. Receding, there remains a wreath of white around the surface of the glass. Swirling and sniffing, one recalls notes of stone fruit, guava, orange citrus, cannabis, and a bit of floral. Sipping, there's an upfront hit of dank and stone fruit, followed by tropical citrus, and some white grape.
