So what I’ve recently just learned (admittedly I’m slow with understanding tv shows like that guys I’m learning okay 😓) is that with love triangles when the mc has to chose between two guys, most often it’s not really about the guy, but is actually is a metaphor/outward manifestation of who the character is choosing to be in their life. So like if we want to conclude that Buffy/Spike/Angel thing is kind of like a love triangle in the sense that people always want her to chose between the two, it’s so important that in Chosen (7x22) she didn’t end up with either of them. That’s what the cookie dough speech is you guys!!! Buffy doesn’t know who she is yet, she’s not done baking, so she’s not ready to make that choice (romantic or otherwise) yet. And I’m sorry but I cannot take any post seriously when someone tries to make it all about spuffy or bangel (or even fuffy for that matter) because it’s not about them! It’s about Buffy, and her choices. It’s about Faith (her darker side, her slayer side,) knowing that’s she’s no longer alone! It’s about when she finally gets asked what she wants to do (by Dawn, her innocence, her girlhood, who often feels ignored, note) she smiles!!! She gets to finally decide what she wants to do, and she’s not totally sure yet, but it’s up to her. Not just slayer, not just girl, but Buffy. She has control of her life for once. It’s about her!!!

when she finds herself drawn to the town of mystic falls, she has no idea what’s in store. not the famed doppleganger katherine pierce, or the new doppleganger elena gilbert. certainly not the original family of vampires who she’s been told neeeded to die since the day she was called as slayer.

ada chavez has always known what she was destined for. at least she thought she did. it’s too bad no one ever gave her the details.
