My take on @meepdrawartgood 's CopeSwap! Where Reagan takes on Brett's coping mechanism and vice versa, shifting the dynamic into Brett becoming the force that drives the team and Reagan being the social glue.

I becameth inspired after reading @megahet ‘s Illuminati!brett au comics and the two fics she recommended and now I’m in deep :,)

Ok i came up with an au

I'm gonna call it "nostalgia remnants"

Ok so basically this is an au where nostalgia max just refused to leave bretts body (ep 5 s 1)

Physical changes:

Bretts eyes are permanently green

His fingertips are also dyed green

He can't get rid of his 80s haircut no matter how much he cuts his hair they always grow back overnight

Other things:

Sometimes there is too much nostalgia max gathered in his body and it leaks out of his eyes which makes him look like he's crying

Whenever he gets angry or upset small and medium sized objects around him start to float

The height in which said objects float depends on the intensity of his emotions

Sometimes he starts to float in the air

Reagan ties a rope to his leg or a torso so he doesn't float away

Reagan often experiments on nostalgia max to find a way to get it out of brett

Inside Job/ Chainsaw Man AU!

I've gone insane from lack of Inside Job content and have used my new Chainsaw Man obsession to cope, so y'all get a crossover AU!

Reagan works for the Public Safety Devil Hunters Bureau in America, and acts as their lead roboticist for developing Anti-Devil technology. To do so, she's made a deal with the Machine Devil in exchange for her eye. Determined to take the lead at her organization, Reagan hopes to climb up the ranks and kill as many Devils as she can - and prove to her awful father that she doesn't need him to run the company.

The Machine Devil insists on being called Alpha-Beta, and takes a physical form similiar to the president (which only serves to make him more unsettling). While he's settled into his deal with Reagan for now, his true goal involves using her to get to Earth and take over the world.

I'll draw the rest of the gang at some point
