In My Time of Dying

Charleys P.O.V

Maggie, Sam and I stepped out of Maggie's '67 Mustang, and into the beating sun. Maggie whistled as she saw the car parked next to her car.

"They dont make em like they used to" Maggie says as she locks her own classic car. "Now," she say turning to the other Sam and I. "Who has the list we managed to snag from Death?"

"I got it. It says here, that we're looking for a Dean Winchester. Alright, I'll search the bottom floor, Charley you search the top floor, and Maggie you search the second floor," Sam says giving us our tasks. "And remember, do not hesitate. No matter what it tries to tell you, we're here to ice this bitch."

We all nodded and start to head inside the hospital.

Sams P.O.V

I ran around the bottom floor, searching for any signs of the thing that took my baby cousin years ago. I have never lets anything get in the way of my family, and I'm not about to start now, even if I failed when Shyanne died.

I take a glance behind me when I run into what feels like a wall as I catch my balance I look up to see an attractive male with shoulder length brown hair and gorgeous hazel eyes. He was at least a foot taller than I am at 5 foot 4 inches.

The tall man and I start to apologize profusely. When I catch a glimpse of what I'm looking for behind him. I quickly bolt past the man towards it, not noticing how the mans eyes trail after me, catching a glance of my pistol, barely visible over the top of my jeans.

He looks around to see if anyone noticed, realizing that no one did he went to chase after her noticing, too late, that she already disappeared into the crowd. He decided to go off to his brothers hospital room, to check on him.

Charleys P.O.V

I was on the top floor searching for the thing we were hunting. I start to softly hum to myself when I start to feel a wisp of cold wind that was known to follow the creature, meaning that it was close by. As the adrenaline starts pumping through my veins, I follow the draft and catch up to it.

I slowly creep up behind it, aiming my pistol at its head. "Tessa" Charley growled out.

The reaper turned her head to look at the hunter aiming a gun at her. "Well, if it isnt my favorite Davis hunter. What do you want?" She asked turning to face her fully.

"You know exactly why im here. You took away someone very important to me a year ago, and im here to get revenge." I said said, silently cursing as my voice wavers slightly.

"Oh, honey. I was just doing my job. If i wasnt there, your cousin would still be roaming the earth as a ghost. She was already dead-"

"NO! She was not! Im not listening to any of the lies your trying to tell!" I say furiously, then without waiting two seconds, I shoot her three times, straight in the heart.

Tessa falls to the ground, and a smile begins to form on my face, we finally beat her. Until Tessas slumped form starts chuckling, making the victorious smile on my face fade quickly. I watch Tessa slowly pulls herself off the ground until she is standing in front of me.

"I know you're feeling very distraught right now, thats the only reason im not going to kill you. But next time you try to kill a reaper, do your homework. A gun isnt going to kill me. The next time you try to kill me, I will be a lot less forgiving." Tessa says stalking towards me menacingly and stopping right in front of my face. "Got it?"

I clench my jaw and give a sharp nod. "I wouldnt expect any less." I say in a hard voice.

Without missing a beat, Tessa disappears, leaving me alone in the hall.

Maggie's P.O.V

Sam and I, upon hearing gunshots, rush up stairs. They both ran down the halls looking for the other two. Sam turned a sharp corner and ran into me abruptly. I turn to look at Sam, surprise in my aqua green eyes.

"Do you think Charley got her?" I ask barely daring to hope.

"If we're lucky" she responds continuing down the hallway. I sigh before following her.

My aqua green eyes met Charleys turquoise ones as Sam and I sprint the rest of the way to our oldest cousin, who was at the farther end of the hall. We slowed to a stop right in front of Charley.

"Where was that bitch?!" I yelled furious at the lack of a body.

"I-I shot her! Sh-she fled!" Charlene admitted, scared about being yelled at by the other girls about just letting her leave.

"So she's only weakened?" Sam asked, tilting her head, making her brunette curls fall to her shoulder.

We watch Charley nod, "I think she went to the middle floor."

"What're we waiting for cmon!" I command.

We begin to sprint downstairs, keeping guns hidden from the rest of the hospital patrons.

When we arrive to the middle floor, nurses and doctors were frantic, gathering around one room. Sam ventures to the room, seeing an older man on the ground, another attractive male in hospital garb looking distraught, and the man from earlier being held back by doctors and nurses, yelling and crying at the older man.

Sam tries to push through the crowd, but we watch as she's physically pushed back by the doctors, knocking her on her ass. We don't notice as the tall mans hazel eyes connected with hers before we go to leave.

Charleys P.O.V

We all went back out to the car. I can tell that Maggie is livid and Sam is slightly confused and upset, and well, of course I'm feeling very guilty.

Maggie hit the steering wheel with her fist and clenched her teeth in anger, "God Damn it!" Sam just leaned her head on the window as the car started and we drove off.

"We're off our game guys cmon! We've been hunting this bitch for months now! This is the closest we've ever been!" Maggie lectured. "We should have had her"

"Yeah, yeah, we get it. We're tryin' here." Sam said.

I began to feel even more guilt as Maggie kept her lecture going.

"Well obviously trying isnt good enough. Im lengthening our training hours, and our research hours. Next time we find this bitch, shes dead." Maggie said, trying to reign in her temper.

"Yes Maggie"

"Okay Maggs"

Sam and I both chime in, as our car passes the city limits sign.
