It’s #bluesdaytuesday ...I kinda fell off doing this thru the holidaze. No fancy foot work tonight. I’m exhausted and it’s freezing here and Baltimore. Here’s a quick screen shot of a “transcription in progress” of the cascading scale idea I put up a few weeks back. I got some positive feedback that has inspired me to transcribe and edit what I was doing, as well as some variations on that idea. I’m liking how Sibelius integrates guitar tab and music notation. It’s pretty intuitive- unlike a lot of other aspects of the program(!) IMHO. Once I’m done with this, I’m going to offer it to anyone who asks for it via dm. I’m thinking of this as an educational piece for fingerpicking variations. But above all I want it to be a great or piece of music. Guitar lesson time! Here’s a real quick open string scale concept in open D (actually open F...cuz I’m capoed at the 3rd fret 😏). I had to break this up into 2 videos. I posted a little thing I came up with the other evening, and folks seemed to enjoy it- so I thought I’d break it down and give it to the universe. I’d like to do this type of thing regularly- maybe once a week. A goal I have is to get back into giving lessons in 2020- in person or maybe via Skype- or something!
