hi, so yes you may have already seen this posted to my account, and you're probably wondering "why is she posting this again?" (unless you already saw the mistake)...

i do in fact have one and a half brain cells and it took a friend to point out the mistake to me to realize i had put the same aspiration for 3 generations... oh boy...

anyhooooo~ here is a new updated version of the sweetest berry legacy challenge! now, if there still any mistakes here, or maybe you cannot see or read these images, you'll probably have a better time reading the google doc i made for it here.

originally i wasn't going to bother with my other legacy challenges, but i decided to completely revamp my just desserts legacy challenge because she deserved some love!!

If you like adding drama, creating stories with your sims and delicious desserts, then you’ve found the right legacy challenge for you! This is a ten generation legacy that revolves around desserts and colors that you can base your sims on.

This legacy challenge, as of right now, uses multiple packs. 

I don’t want any control over your gameplay and/or story. I want you to make this all your own, so if you want to use cheats or anything like that go right ahead. If you want to start with 0 simoleons to make it even more challenging, do what your heart desires. Any traits, aspirations, careers, etc you think could be something else, use that instead. I truly just want everyone to have fun with this! Make this challenge your own, that’s what it’s here for!

THE SIMS 4: BARBIE Legacy Challenge!

oh hi there! i haven't posted here in a while, but i just watched the barbie movie a few days ago and needless to say, it is now my entire personality. so here's my first ever legacy challenge based on barbie's many, many careers and achievements!

apologies in advance, this challenge uses a lot of packs! i'm sorry! i might try to make a base game version at some point

challenge rules below the cut

All heirs must be female and named Barbie. (non-heir children may have any name)

You may use the freerealestate cheat for your first house, but try not to use money cheats after that!

You are allowed and encouraged to use lot traits and rewards to boost skill gain, anything that’s in-game is fair game.

Packs you will need:

EPs: Get To Work, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Get Famous, Island Living

GPs: Spa Day*, Parenthood

Optional packs (for the optional generations):

EPs: University, Cottage Living, Horse Ranch

GPs: Strangerville

*You only need Spa Day for the High Maintenance trait in one of the generations and nothing else, so it's fine to skip out on it.

You've been raised with traditional values: find a good man, start a family, be a homemaker... But you want your children to aim higher, so you'll make sure to set them up for success.

Complete Successful Lineage aspiration

Max Parenting and Cooking skills

Have at least 3 kids and 1 pet, each child must complete at least one child aspiration and they must all be A+ students

One of my favorite ways to enjoy a new challenge in The Sims 4 is by playing The Sims 4 Decades Challenge!

I am a lover of history, and I love finding new, challenging ways to enjoy this (sometimes too easy) game.

This post covers rules and chllenge variations, how to start, how to play, as well an amazing 1890s save file by @antiquatedplumbobs that makes it super easy to jump right in 🙌

I am so attached to this family I swear. The twins have aged up. Charlie got the Sunny trait from the randomizer, and Danny got wiggly. They’re so cuteee. They’re always exploring together and playing in the tent. Just a reminder that these are Allison and Miakota’s biological kids, but they also have momma Becky to help raise them. Three sims should be enough to wrangle two toddlers, right? Also, I don’t think I’ve mentioned this yet, but I am playing on short life span with custom day settings thanks to MCCC. My age spans are all shorter than EA’s for every life span. Only for the sims though. The pets live forever as far as sims are concerned. Just how it should be. @simelune <3 ty for making this challenge.

So I think I said there were some...interesting developments right? So Allison, Becky, and Miakota (still possibly deciding on a name) are kind of in a throuple now. Surprise! I was originally planning for Allison and Becky to end up together, but then Allison came to visit when the babies aged up and Becky found her attractive sooo. Three times the income

My sim, Allison, that is starting my joy of life legacy challenge and her best friend Becky! I don’t think I’ve shared her yet but uh these are kind of old. Dropping a few more recent photos soon! Allison’s traits are: foodie, bookworm, unflirty, loves the outdoors, and overachiever. Her aspiration is a freelance botanist atm. Becky is a cheerful, ambitious perfectionist. They do live together btw! Becky lives above Allison’s bakery, and Allison lives in a cute lil house behind the bakery.

Im not sure how far I'll get but I made my sim and my house last night! I'll probably wait for a bit bc I had just started my base save n I want nicer lots and townies but at least I'm all ready 💜💜

the joy of life legacy challenge by @simelune 35 generations to keep you playing.

as i was looking for legacy challenges that were being updated as new packs came out, i had the thought "hey, why not just write one myself?" so here we are! i'll do by best to add new generations as time goes on, but seeing as this already has 35 (!!) generations, i think we'll be okay for a bit.

a few notes:

this challenge incorporates mods. i tried to include options for players who do not use gameplay mods, but some generations are built around them.

this challenge uses (almost) all packs. some generations are based off specific packs though, so you could pick and choose which gens you want to do.

this challenge has story aspects. there's a lot of room for you to come up with a story yourself each generation, so have fun with it!

some generations are longer and more involved than others! this is meant to give you a bit of a break and provide variety between generations.

I separated the frames and mattresses for the BlandCo Contemporary Crib and Toddler Bed from base game. Like the original, these are convertible into each other - you just have to convert the frame and mattress separately.

Made to fit the BlandCo Frames. These cute animal print mattresses will go great in any nursery!

KNOWN ISSUES: Sim doesn't stand next to the frame to upgrade it. Wherever they're standing when you invoke the action, that's where they'll hammer.

Sometimes when converting the frame or mattress, they'll jump a few spaces from where they were originally placed. I've made both live-draggable so that they're easy to put back where they belong.
