"You're fucking with me."

"Oh come on, it will be fun!" Mammons smile grew wider at your expression. An abandoned hause wasn't what you expected at the night of Halloween. You rather hoped for movies, picking up chestnuts, drinking hot coco, and not… this.

The building was big and mostly destroyed, with old plants growing over every part of the porch. Ah yes, the best thing to do in autumn - going on expedition to a hounted house where you absolutely will get killed.

"I'm going back to the car"

"What, no no no no, wait, treasure, baby, love of my life, listen" his hand grabbed your shoulder, turning you to face him "I heard rumors that inside is a limited edition of a hunted DVD of "Twilight", you know, the Twilight??"

"The vampire movies?"

"Wha, no, that's stupid, it's about a demon and a human falling in love, but they can't be together, cuz they are different species and there would be a war, and, and like, it's so like us, you know? We have to watch it!" You sighted at him with a tired expresion

"We are together tho, Mams."

"Ok, but still, it's a rare movie, so hard to find that it's called a lost media now, don't you want to watch it?"

"You want to sell it, right?"

"I. Well I want too watch it with my partner first." he said without a pause

You looked again at the hause. Well you were here already, might as well see a ghost or something. You really hoped that stupid movie was in there. And it wasn't a fake copy of "Twilight". And it wasn't a trap on your stupid bofriend made by witches or whatever. You held his hand sighing. He looked thrilled, his eyes shining with excitement.

"This is it," he said, gripping your hand tighter and kissing your cheek "You're gonna love it, you will see!"

"Let's have it over with" you said while rolling your eyes and smilling.

This is my character Nirvy. Her story begins with a witch who had a magic lizard familiar called Hanyula, who could make shed-skin clones of its witches. When the witch died young, her brother Shood inherited Hanyula as his familiar. He became a highly skilled witch and turned the skin-clone of his sister into a living person with a mind of her own. That’s Nirvy! Who is kinda goth, and likes moths. So here she is in some magical overgrown palace garden ruins.

And so, Inktober comes to a close. I had a ton of fun doing the challenge, and I'm super happy to finish on time! I can't BELIEVE I've turned out 31 pieces in 31 days. It's almost unreal.

I've learned sooo much--how to properly use my pens, how they react to my white paint pen and vice versa, how much I need a new pen set... (*winces* my 005 is practically nibless it's sad)

... and how to use my phone's absolute unit of an image editor. You can hueshift and saturate specific colors!! so I can desaturate yellow/orange to get rid of lighting but keep actual color!!!

I'll put together a big masterpost with every inktober page of my sketchbook tomorrow :) hopefully I'll see some improvement haha. At the very least, I've gotten much more confident doing more complex pieces! Landscapes, people, and scenes, not just icons or symbols. The charms I did at the end were so easy.

I really wanna do more art, but I'm. not very creative, believe it or not. All of my work is derived—from a prompt, a game, a photo, whatever. I might do Inktober 52, or 30 days of Reborn? As much as I'd love to do Huevember, I don't have consistent access to either coloring materials or digital programs to do it as I'd like. Maybe I'll try inking real-world photos? Or going back and doing "missed" inktober prompts or lists...

Its Inktober Day 6! Its ParaNorman! From the same people who brought us Coraline! :) I watched this the other day and it holds up spectacularly! :) Here we have the boy himself Norman who can see and speak with spirits of the dead. Judge Hopkins who was cursed to come back as a zombie, and Agatha Prenderghast, the 'Witch' of days past. If you haven't seen this film yet then you DEFINITELY need to watch it because it definitely needs more appreciation!

I think this might be one of the only times this month I keep to the official prompt list! Today is spirit, something I didn't know until after I had finished this piece! X) and this film deals with spirits both vengeful and placid so I reckon it counts!.... I think it counts....

I'm happy with this but I didn't get to add everything I wanted, so I might do a digital version of it later on :)

Sneaking in at the last minute lol! Just saw @prettywarriors Magical Girl challenge for each week of March. I thought it might be a good opportunity to design some bg girls for my webcomic “Monster”, which you can read HERE. 

This week’s prompt was Nocturnal Animal.

So I give you “Dizzy” (haven’t decided on a proper name for her yet lol) Her theme is a moth, more specifically a “Moth Man”, her over all concept is a cryptid hunter. Her weapon is her briefcase, which contains all manor of spooky shadows, and if something gets too close she can give them a good smack with it too!

Week two of the @prettywarriors Magical Girl challenge, one for each week of March. I thought it might be a good opportunity to design some bg girls for my webcomic “Monster”, which you can read HERE.

This week’s prompt was Gothic Fashion Magical Idol.

Face and upper body came out great but I’m not super enthused by the legs :| ah well!  This is Cecelia, she’s an older magical girl, 16 years old, she’s a member of a bg squad called Siren. Almost all of this four girl team’s abilities are based in music. Cecelia acts as the “lead singer”, her voice creates “gain” which when channeled through her microphone allows her to change said microphone into numerous types of weapons and increasing their effectiveness the longer she sings. When combined with the powers of her teammates it creates “euphoria” and generates an illusionary world in theme with the song. Its sort of like a living music video?  Personality wise she’s on the shy side, especially when talking to new people, but when she sings her confidence shines through! (Maybe at some point I’ll do a some bonus action drawings for her? If people want to see anyway XD )
