okay you know what I love? when Andrew has a permanent injury from the crash he killed Tilda in. like she died theres no way he didn't get seriously injured too. I like to think he hurt his leg. and has a bit of a limp. he doesn't need to move around much in the goal so he can still play. but he wears a knee brace. and when he's pushed himself too far it starts to ache and he ends up with a limp. and then Neil gets him an ice pack to put on it, and some aspirin, and they lay down on the couch to watch a documentary.

So due to a confluence of chronic illness, a seemingly mild car accident that nonetheless has made me even more messed up, and SAD I have fully and completely legal access to a lot more medications than usual.

I am also under a really important and really soon writing deadline that I absolutely categorically refuse to push out yet another time because you only get so many sick cards when chronically ill to pull before no one wants to work with you.

And because I am a chemist and open to dangerous experiments I've figured out the exact timing and dosage and combination of meds and supplements to hot rod my broken beater of a physical form into brief and costly hot rod speeds. I'm flying down the highway at 95 mph and every alarm is blaring so I've cut the wires to the speakers and kicked out the warning lights and I am white knuckling the steering wheel, taping my eyelids open as my tires shred and I'm speeding down the road in bare metal and sparks. I am absolutely going to pay for this in blood later, but if I hit my deadline I currently don't care.

I would not recommend this to anyone ever. I sense that learning to briefly and painfully circumvent burnout is the monkey's paw of desperate discoveries

How long do you think Y/N was stuck inside playtime, saving the toys she did and defeating the prototype? A couple days? A week?

I imagine after all that, Y/N took a long and hot shower after all that. If not immediately passing out from the lack of proper food and medical aid

idk. the game makes it all feel like it's happening pretty fast. it looks dark outside in the first chapter, so the player is there at night or early morning. once they get deeper into the factory, you obviously can't tell time by daylight, and i don't think you can see any clocks anywhere.

id wager the timeline of the game takes place over about a week? maybe less? if each game only takes a few hours to complete, it's maybe happening over the span of only a couple days?

but yeah, regardless of how long it takes, the player would probably pass out as soon as they and any of their rescued toys are away from any danger. as soon as everyone is settled in the house, y/n is passing out and not waking back up for at least a day or two.
