Part one
Steve’s alone with fish guy, and it’s the perfect time to make his second attempt. For the first time Steve figures the guy must finally be relaxing, if only a tiny bit. The frozen peas were a massive hit, and maybe that’s helping. Being hungry like that must be really shitty, especially if it’s for a long time, like Steve suspects from the look of fish guy.
Maybe fish guy is starting to realize that this isn’t the labs under Starcourt any more. That Steve and his friends aren’t here to hurt fish guy.
Steve flicks another pea off into the water as he drinks his coffee; fish guy retrieves it in a flash, his eel like black tail easy to spot in the water, quickly coming back for more.
The kids keep calling him a merman - but he doesn't look like any cartoon or kids picture Steve's ever seen. His tail is too flat, for one, definitely more like an eel, plus there's no fins that Steve can see.
Steve offers him a handful of peas, carefully cupping them until fish guy has his hands cupped underneath, ready for them to be tipped in. They don’t touch, and Steve vaguely wonders if the guy will feel cold from the water. The skin of his fingers isn’t pruned like a regular persons would be, which makes sense since he’s a fish guy. Maybe he’ll feel clammy, or rubbery. Or scaly. Steve van very vaguely remember petting a stingray in a low tank at the aquarium once, surrounded by other kids. Might have been a field trip or something, but he can remember how surprised he was by the feeling of the mottled brown skin. Super rough, like sandpaper. Fish guy doesn’t look like he’ll feel like that either, though.
Fish guy eats his handful of peas and then looks back to Steve expectantly; or at least, that’s what he’d call it on a human person. It must be the same sort of thing though, right? The top half, at least, is built the same, right?
Steve’s down to his last handful of frozen peas; he’s already called Robin, she’s going to pick up a bunch of groceries of the green variety on her way over after her shift later. Also a few other bits, like carrots and bell peppers, to see if fish guy will try them.
Steve holds up a single pea between his thumb and pointer finger. Fish guy’s eyes track it from where he floats, a foot away from the ledge. Steve taps his chest, “Steve,” and then he points to fish guy.
Like last night, he comes a little closer, lifting out of the waster a little and then, cautiously points at Steve, he makes a noise that...kind of...sounds like ‘Steve’. His voice is raspy, and the word is kind of mangled, more of a sad ‘Steee,’ but near enough. It looks like he’s really trying, brow furrowed with concentration.
It’s not what Steve wanted, but Steve gives him the pea.
It’s overcast today, same as yesterday, and the day before. Blowy and cold. Steve doesn’t want to stay out here much longer, so he dumps the remaining peas into the water and then gets up and heads inside to wait for Robin.
Steve’s nearly at the door when he hears a splash and then a mournful, “Steeeeeeeeee.” and immediately regrets all of his life choices.
He sighs, and goes back to the pool, “yeah?”
Fish guy tilts his head, frowning, and then lifts his had out of the water, pointer finger and thumb a smidge apart...just like he’s holding an imaginary pea.
Well. Communication is definitely something they will be able to work on then. But Steve flaps the bag, showing the picture of the peas on the front, and the face that it’s very clearly empty, “all gone. Finished,” Steve makes a cutting motion in the air with the side of his hand, to indicate they’re done.
“Inied,” the fish guy manages cautiously.
“Yeah, finished.”
The fish guy watches him for a second, and then dips back down under the water, off too huddle in the bottom corner of the pool.
Steve wonders vaguely if he’s still hungry, but hopefully it won’t be that much longer before Robin gets here.
“I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who really, genuinely likes celery.”
“Me neither, it’s like peppery water.”
“With hair in.”
Fish guy though, very clearly, likes the celery. He didn’t quibble over the cucumber either, that disappeared very quickly. He was cautious about the carrots, but with a little encouragement, and a lot of sniffing, he ate the bottom half of one, not seeming to like it so much at the thicker end.
Steve hands him an entire bell pepper, watches as fish guy takes a bite. He seems to like it, but then pulls a face, scraping desperately at the seeds on his tongue and spitting the whole mess out into the water. Steve can’t help laughing. Fish guy looks affronted. The look of genuine distaste and irritation on his face is very human and also hilariously funny.
“Oh Steve, I think you offended him,” Steve wipes the tears away to see that Robin is right, and fish guy has gone to huddle in the far corner of the pool, only his eyes peeking out. That’s got to suck, having no where to go. No where to hide; no privacy at all.
“This has got to suck for him; he’s stuck in an empty box,” Steve tries to imagine living his entire existence in a completely empty room; he can’t, not really.
“Well what can we even do with him? He seems to be freshwater, so the oceans are out. Even if we let him go in a lake, we don’t know what he understands about people, if he got caught…” she trails off. Steve doesn’t need any help imagining what could happen.
“I don’t know but...we need a plan...and he needs something to do.”
“What like, enrichment for his enclosure?”
It’s the first sunny day for a while. Steve had been getting resentful about it but a bit of warm sunshine is starting to make up for it already.
Steve looks uncertainly down at the bucket of dollar store toys he’s paid for. Doesn’t matter that the kids picked them all out, apparently Steve is still the money in this operation.
Plus gas; they had to travel further since the mall is now a fenced off ruin.
All the kids are on their knees at one end of the pool; all of them holding something. There’s a slinky (he can play with it along the edge), a Rubik’s cube (water proof, and we might be able to figure out if he can see color), a bucket, a plastic dog bowl (it’ll float, you can fill it with peas), a rubber duck, and a ball.
Fish guy, on the other hand, had retreated to the furthest corner he could, curled up into a ball, and stayed there.
Steve’s starting to suspect that the noise of the kids constant chatter and bickering is actually a bit too much for fish guy to handle, from the way he either hides or watches them wearily from the other end of the pool. If they move, he moves.
“Maybe if we spread out, then one of use will be close enough because he won’t have anywhere to go-”
“Absolutely not,” Steve tells Dustin, “that’s cruel, if he’s hiding it’s for a reason. Just let the stuff be and he will deal with it when he’s ready.”
He gets a little bit of whining from them, mostly Will and Dustin, if he’s honest, all the other kids seem to be really understanding.
The ball and the bucket they let go to float around in the water, and the kids soon loose interest and head off to cause trouble elsewhere.
Steve desperately wants to dip his feet in the pool, same as he would on any other day, but since there’s someone living in it, it feels kind of rude. Like he’d be knowingly walking mud into someone's house, or something.
Steve kneels at the same end of the pool the kids were at, he doesn’t want to startle fish guy by appearing right above him. If he comes to Steve or not should be his choice, but Steve has two bunches of celery and a dog food bowl filled to the brim with frozen peas, so he thinks his chances are pretty good right now.
He’s right, fish guy does come over, but his whole face is scrunched up and he misses the celery on the first try; it takes Steve an embarrassingly long amount of time to figure it out, even with the guy eating with his eyes pretty much closed.
It’s the first fully sunny day they’ve had, and the guy had been in a shitty artificially lit lab, and before that, presumably the Upside Down for his whole life.
It’s fucking bright out here.
And even as he takes his sunglasses off, Steve has no idea how to communicate this with fish guy.
Steve has the bowl of peas for leverage, but still. He shows them to fish guy, who, squinting, does come closer. And then Steve hands over the glasses. Fish guy, face all scrunched up, tilts his head, looking at them.
Steve takes them back, put them on, takes the off, and offers them again. Ever so carefully and slowly, fish guy takes the glasses. Steve knows fish guy is at least kind of smart; he’s confident he will figure this out. He’s proved correct pretty fast when fish guy holds them up so he can blink up through the lenses.
And then he...very carefully, almost comically carefully, slides them on.
He grins up at Steve, and Steve floats the dog bowl in the water, giving it a nudge.
Fish guy looks delighted.

----
It is said that penyet chicken originated in East Java, then spread to various other regions in Indonesia. This dish is now easily found in many areas, both in street food restaurants and five-star restaurants.
To make penyet chicken, the chicken is first marinated with various spices, then boiled until tender. Then, the chicken is fried until cooked, and then the chicken is penyet with the chili sauce. The dish is served with additional sambal on the side, usually accompanied by fresh vegetables, tempeh, fried tofu and rice.

It may not come as a surprise that I am OBSESSED with the paranormal, and thus I posit a silly little thought nugget-
Devil Fruit eaters in general being No Longer Human. Like. Not even just Zoan users, but ALL of them.
The Fruits were created by the Sea Devil, offering odd and incredible powers in exchange for a weakness to water, a tomb of seasalt. The abilities are varied and dynamic, but they are still, by definition, an exchange - a Deal. It is Give and Take, a contract forged with the life-span of the eater as the signature. The Fruit braids itself into their genome, into their Soul, and makes them Other.
More beneath the cut, I just have so many thoughts send help
For some, this is an instinctive change. They Know things, information fed from the magic in their veins and marrow to their brain, all that the Fruit has learned from previous users in an abstract way. For some, the information from their Fruit is Locked, tidbits bleeding through the cracks and grooves of the chest which contains the treasure trove of knowledge which they are not equipped to handle. The Fruits are only truly Conscious when they are Bound, Eaten, Active, after all. To needlessly overwhelm and kill their hosts would be unfortunate.
In that vein, one could argue that the eaters are something of a sacrifice, a symbiotic relationship between our world and the one beyond it.
Some Fruits however simply do not HAVE the knowledge to pass on. Some have not been active in a very long time. Some have not had the experience in thriving with their Host. Some just simply rarely get eaten for whatever reason.
Some simply protect their Host from the Truth.
What all Devil Fruit eaters have in common, loosely though it is, is an innate ability to recognize one another, to identify each other, and to toe the line between the mortal world and the Other. The sharpness of the awareness varies person to person, soul to soul, but all Notice in their own ways, can reach beyond the veil to varying degrees and with varies intentions.
Luffy can See into others, an ability he's had always, but after eating his Fruit, it sharpened. His gaze cut deeper, his sight clearer, and he could read a person as easily as a scholar with a juvenile practice book would read the text therein. His gaze is clearest beneath the skin of others.
Luffy, inhuman as parts are, must feed both aspects:
The body he has, and the form which his Devil Fruit has woven itself into, must eat. He loves meat, a trait often found in Ds, but his appetite is voracious even then, feeding and feeding and feeding. What few realize is that his hunger is both mortal and not, a craving for meat of any variety. He will eat anything. Anything. His natural defaults mesh well with his Fruit, and he simply catalogues it easily within his existing paradigm
The soul he carries is fueled by love, freedom, expression. He is emotional and unhindered by expectations because he chooses not to be. He gives himself the freedom to do so. He wants to be untethered and to feel and experience and BE. He wants for others to have much the same. He finds people who are Chained and he takes their shackles in hand, asks them why they are there, and then he shatters them beneath the force of his Care and Ambition and Temptation. He opens the doors of change and growth and liberation, and then he lays the choices before those he can. It's a subconscious thing, mostly, but he Feeds the carnal, bare bones Drive of his Fruit in the same breath as him feeding his own freedom and thus his own soul.
<>
Buggy on the other hand does not have the same basis to work from. Whereas Luffy's Fruit is Other Than and thus not as impacted by its infrequency in circulation, Buggy's is not so blessed. The Bara Bara no mi is not a common Fruit to be eaten. It has had precious few holders who survived long enough to learn much of anything regarding its properties. As it stands, Buggy himself is the longest survivor of this power. Not only does it initial stage impact the nervous system in unique and bizarre ways but it also changes the musculoskeletal structures and the host's brain. In order to be able to split and still function, your spatial awareness needs to be far higher than average, and the synapses in your brain must be able to handle the strain.
Many holders of the Chop Chop Fruit were driven mad by this. Be it the influx of information or the psychosomatic pain of a limb loss or worse, it would often lad to death - and not always by the hands of another.
Buggy was always more cerebral than his crewmates, than Shanks and the others. He was a thinker, and his specialty was operating outside of normal conventions - it was how his weapons making skills improved leaps and bounds. Chemistry, physics and mechanics were his biggest passions, followed closely by some dabbling in medicine and botany. There were no limits in his mind, on questions and redirected pathways. Where one path did not lead to an expected result, another would open, would branch off, and the yield of these actions would be cataloged and coveted.
The Bara Bara no mi was not much different in this. That Devil Fruit was perfect for Buggy, for his natural processes and his demeanor. Buggy already toed the line of fragmented, puzzle thinking, and his Fruit simply exacerbated this.
He feeds his mind with the options and dynamicism he exhibits with his body.
He does not however feed his BODY with the same. Oh, he eats when he remembers or someone reminds him. He has noticed some things taste better, make him FEEL better than others. But he doesn't seek them out.
This is partly due to mental health issues, and an unidentified food aversion which began in his childhood. Food was often used as a punishment/reward system, and things, unattended to, spiraled from there. Buggy doesn't even realize it.
Another problem is that his tastes in foods he has had the best responses with remind him of things he would rather not think on. Specifically, they remind him of his late captain. Roger always preferred his steaks rare and juicy. Buggy adores his much the same.
And a final issue is that the few times Buggy DID act on the Hunger, the Drive for something, he was punished for it, told it was bad and not okay. In their defense, he was a child, and raw meat is not safe for consumption, especially in one who has such a problematic immune system as Buggy. He always draws the short end of the stick in things.
He subsides loosely on intimidation tactics, licking the blood from his knives, a habit which began after the loss of his family. He does not acknowledge the baying hunger in his chest when he does this. He has buried it along with so many other things.
Buggy is good with his Devil Fruit, but he is good with it while starved and unwell.
It truly would be beneficial for another Devil Fruit User with long term experience to ask him what he Feeds on, wouldn't it?

yang paling berkesan di 2024? ini
youtube
at some point, aku mempertanyakan diri sendiri apakah waktu yg kuhabiskan nonton ini masih "sehat", kayanya nggak 🤣
padahal udah tau oh my girl dari lama, their presence in variety shows are incredible, ga pernah gagal, tapi belum tertarik deep diving into their discography, yg masuk playlist ya cuma lagu2 terkenalnya, the trifecta of summer songs: nonstop, dolphin, dun dun dance
very dreamy dan bikin hati hangat
ga paham musik, tapi kata salah satu reaction ini emang eksperimental sekali, string section ketemu jersey beat (?) it's somehow worked tapi asing banget
konsep dreamy tapi eksperimental tu sering dipake red velvet, walaupun banyak banget yang terkenal, top songs from red velvet buatku cuma 2: psycho dan cosmic, karena yg lain kurang easy listening, punten ya mbak wendy 🙏🏼
sempet dengerin lagu lama gfriend, ternyata juga agak jpop-ish, ini satu angkatan sama oh my girl, tapi jadi ga semangat karena tiba2 disband padahal masih produktif, emang kpop company serem2 banget dah
trus setelah liat2 reaction, ternyata banyak yg nggak tau kalo artis di killing voice itu suaranya di edit/tuned walaupun keliatan live, bukan berarti mereka suaranya jelek ya, tp k-media emang wataknya pengen everything looks perfect, 2 video killing voice sebelumnya yg aku dengerin berulang tu punya roy kim sama IU, mereka mangap aja suaranya dah bagus tp masuk killing voice emang tetep disempurnakan lagi
algoritma youtube tahun ini udah ngasih konten oh my girl terus, oh my girl tiba2 melesat jadi top artist no.2 di spotify wrapped juga, tahun besok ku kan masih ngulang2 video yg sama ehe
bonus:
youtube
another oh my girl's song yg jpop-ish tp ga ada di albumnya, lagu final pas acara queendom, so good 👌🏻

i was wondering if you already talked/like the jpop group psychic fever :) idk i feel like you'd like them but if not are there any jpop groups you listen to?
girl i have no clue what is going on with exile tribe i wouldn't even know where to start lmao. i do listen to a few of their units, including psychic fever, but it's mostly ballistik boyz just bc animal is my own personal crack. the occasional jo1 and ini song makes it into my rounds, but i'm mostly a jrock and j...indie? i guess? listener. queen bee and i dont like mondays are two of my mostly listened groups, plus a variety of other artists like taichi mukai, eill, fujii kaze, rung hyang, etc. highly recommend every queen bee song, idlm's black humor and fashion albums, and taichi mukai's the last album. and now im hijacking my own post bc this is now a psa about avu chan's boy group ryugujo!! genuinely fr the only boy group ever actually. highly highly highly recommend literally every song they have and their new ep just dropped last month!
youtube
other songs that fucking rip that are not just me linking their entire spotify page:
youtube
youtube
youtube
me linking their entire spotify page anyways:
also highly recommend watching their show 0 year 0 class, bc it is genuinely inspiring and enjoyable to watch someone actually want to teach trainees how to be idols and succeed. and not just how to be idols, but how to be better people as well. k survival shows could never and actually any other survival show could never. flawless 10/10 no notes avu chan i need you to take down the entire survival/audition show industrial complex immediately.

How do Browser Games Save Progress?
The answer is cookies!
Tumblr media
Cookies are little packets of data that a website might ask your browser to save on your computer's hard drive so that when you come back to that website, the browser can send that data back, and the website can do stuff with it. This is commonly used for things like remembering login information, but in the example screenshot above, it's used to remember a high score from a previous game.
Many browsers, like Edge, put all of your cookies into one file which is nested in your AppData folder. If you show hidden items in your File Explorer, you can actually go right to your Cookies file and open it in Notepad (as long as your browser isn't open and using the file at that moment), though it might just look like a garbled, encrypted mess:
Tumblr media
In GameMaker, if you want to make use of browser cookies to save data in a game meant to be played on a web page, you have a variety of tools at your disposal. I've found it fairly simple to work with .ini files, which you can add as "Included Files" in the Asset Browser, and then you can use GM's ini-based functions to read or write to those files when you want to load or save information, respectively.
Have fun using cookies for whatever your heart desires!

My primary method for injecting a little more life into my Still Lifes of Cheese is BOS powered clutter shenanigans. So as promised, here is my list of BOS powered Tamrielic Material Culture for Skyrim Se
Narrative Loot + BOSified
Narrative Loot adds regional variety to dishware, vases, and cauldrons. Includes dunmer cultures in Dragonborn and old cultures in historical places as well
2. Coins of Interesting Nature
AKA the Draugr having Septims long before the Septim dynasty remover (sort of, it seems to play strangely with some leveled list modifications and other mods. It definitely does add the coins in though).
3. Various Immersive Tankards
In the same vein as Narrative loot, adds more variety to the cupwear of Skyrim. The model resources used skew high poly, photo-real so if you're more of a vanilla+ person you may not care for this one.
This author also has like, a bunch of these, and because I have no self control I will probably be adding a few more because I am going to get sick of the vanilla tables eventually I'm sure.
4. Halffaces - Diverse Wooden Plates, Folded Rags Overhaul, Diverse Wooden Bowls (Lite) + INI Tweaks
The INI tweaks really sell these for me as they add some logic and cultural patterning to the distribution which I really like. The rags are cute because they also have little sculptures! But there's another, more vanilla+ rag option floating around.
5. Diverse Foods, Diverse Hearthfire Ovens, Diverse Candles
Gotta have things to pair with the cheese, right? The author also has a few more than just these as well.
6. Sweets and Such + BOSified
You can give you followers cookies. Essential mod.
7. Dovahnique's Diverse Dark Elf Lanterns
Don't get a lot of pictures of this one but depending on your mod setup it can be pretty prominent. It's very pretty and I like it.
I think that's all my clutter/misc item type BOS mods, I have a few more for Flora I'll get too eventually. BOS is very cool tech and also should be taken away from me before my game runs at 3fps.

12 April 2024; Pergeseran perspektif
Belakangan ini lagi ngikutin love after divorce berkat tulisannya mba @yasmijn terkait variety show itu.
Dia keliatan tegas tapi keibuan.
Dulu gue pengen jadi wanita karir aja, selalu materi, gak percaya sama adanya eksistensi manusia baik khususnya laki-laki diluar sana, mematikan keinginan menikah sampai menghilangkan ekspektasi terkait hal-hal berbau romansa.
Sekilas gue liatnya Jerome tuh tipikal street-smart man.
Terus seneng banget begitu stalk ternyata Benita sama Jerome udah happily ever after. So happy for them!

Deleted the Reddit app from my phone today after a blow-up at 6:30 AM today on a sub I've been going to daily for four years. I should have done this way back in 2020.
I don't really consider Reddit social media, more a collection of forums peopled with uh... unique personalities. The sub I spent most of my time on was a dissident Game of Thrones sub, and I guess I ended up there because my GoT opinions don't fit into any of the other sub-fandoms. It became clear early on that the sub wasn't particularly welcome to Americans and especially not to people who didn't have media (social or otherwise) approved opinions about a variety of things, but I hung in there, because it's stupid to break up friendships over politics and I thought I could learn something and it was probably all my fault anyway since I'm an ornery bitch with a short fuse at the best of times but....I was personally attacked there over and over by people I was previously friendly with in a way I haven't been since middle school, most recently being earlier this year when someone asked me a question about shipping, I answered it, and two other people in the sub told me that my opinion wasn't worth anything and no one whose opinion ever meant anything would have any possible interest in what I or anyone else had to say about the topic.
The thing is that this has happened again and again iny life, finding myself in friend groups where my opinion is sometimes tolerated but I am more or less told that I'm being included in the conversation because people are taking pity on me and no one really wants me there. And I stay, because I think I will learn something, it's good for me to be tolerant, I should try to be social in some way....but it never works out. And part of this is because IRL or online I can never get anyone to take me seriously when I want to discuss something of importance or express that I've been hurt by some interaction. I'm always laughed at, dismissed, or told my opinion isn't worth anything. Every single time. The only thing people ever respond to is anger. So I end up being a bitch and completely losing my shit.
Despite all this, I don't think Reddit overall made me a better person. I got too mired in the pandemic-era issues that were depressing me, too caught up in fucking stan wars, too attached to things that didn't matter anymore.
I guess it's not too unusual. Does social media ever make anyone a better person? Probably not.

An episode that exposed Masaya a lot 😂
0:08 Behind the scenes of PDJ. Shut out from the world; trainee's value changed, a piece of chocolate became priceless, etc. 1:24 Super hardcore training camp in SK during pre-debut time. The schedule and training menu were made and decided by Masaya. 3:05 INI's special rule ⓵ – Even just 1 second late, 1,000 yen fine. Nishi's fine is up to 110k yen. 4:50 INI's special rule ⓶ – Studio cleaning is assigned on a day-of-the-week basis. 6:17 Wonder boy Masaya practiced astral projection before bedtime 7:57 Masaya gets power by talking to the moon!?
Detailed translation below the fold ↓
0:08 Behind the scenes of Japan's largest audition program (PDJ)
🐶Kyo: Audition overall was intense, especially the environment... everyone lived in single room, personal phone were taken, no tv, no even a window... It really felt like being trapped. 👤Yama: It doesn't sound like an audition. 😬Taji: That's right. And they provided only three meals per day, no snacks at all. There was only one time that the staffs were handing out the Alfort (chocolate brand) to all trainees. We were so excited and realized that Alfort could be this heart cheering. 👤Yama: (thought it's) the first sweetness for such a long time. 🐲Rihi: Because we were completely shut out from the world, our value got weird that Alfort became so priceless that some would exchange with their personal items such as lotion.
1:24 Super hardcore training camp in SK during pre-debut time The schedule and training menu were made and decided by Kimura!
🧀Nishi: Of course audition was intense, the pre-debut time (between INI formation and 1st CD release) was also hardcore. We went for training camp in South Korea.
👤Yama: What did you guys do?
🧀Nishi: Just practiced dancing from around 9am to 11pm, like every day we kept practicing dancing and singing...
👤Yama: ?? There was no law? (😼Kim: right, it should be 8 hr work)
😼Kim: It was actually me that decided the schedule. (🐲😬🐶 ??? 🧀 ··· 😼 uh uh)
👤Yama: ?? It was not decided by the higher ups?
😼Kim: It was me😆
👤Yama: That's surprising... what's going on?
😼Kim: I was told that I can decide how many hours to practice per day, so I made the schedule every day... 🧀Nishi: I knew nothing... 🐶Kyo: I just knew it now (🐲😬 nod nod) 😼Kim: Really?
👤Yama: Kimura was told that he can decide how to use the time, so he made the schedule to get as much practice as possible, thinking everyone would feel the same way. (😼 uh uh) 👤Yama: Anyone felt if there would be less practice time that would be great?
🐶Kyo: I thought that was the entertainment industry standard.
👤Yama: Then Kimura's pure and innocent thought of heavy practice turned out really great! 🐲😬🐶 that's true... 🧀 nah 😼 Hiroto doesn't agree😆 🧀 I'd like him not to do that. (👤 It was too much afterall) 🧀 It helped for sure... but... too much...
---------------------------
3:05 INI's special rule ⓵ If you are late for even one second, you will be fined 1,000 yen 👤Yama: That's harsh, who set the rule? (😬🐶 👉 😼) 👤Yama: Kimura you're a badass. (🧀 He is! 😼 I become the badass) 👤Yama: You're being too stoic!
😼Kim: Other groups also do that. We have many members, wanna us to be more cooperative so I set this rule.
👤Yama: Who got fined the most? (🐲😼😬🐶 👉 🧀)
🧀Nishi: ☺️ I am self-aware. I'm late for a little time very often, one second, a few seconds... I am living on the edge.
👤Yama: wow that sounds so cool. You are the one who being late, don't act like you're cool! How much have you been fined?
🧀Nishi: Total around 110,000 yen.
👤Yama: What do you do for the fine? (😼: Go for meals together)
👤Yama: Nishi kun you should say something, like 1 second is too harsh. (🧀: Well... if everyone is happy with my fine, I am cool with that)
4:50 INI's special rule ⓶ Studio cleaning is assigned on a day-of-the-week basis
🐶Kyo: It varies depending on the day. Somehow we don't practice on weekdays, but we practice a lot on weekends. Rihito and Masaya are in responsible for weekends (Sat & Sun)
🐲Rihi: Yeah, we practice a lot on weekends. We almost do the cleaning all day.
😬Taji: Nishi and I are responsible for Thursday, but we've probably done the cleaning for 3 times so far.
👤Yama: Rihito, don't you feel a bit unfair?
🐲Rihi: Well, it's been decided already... I have to obey Masaya. (Pat on Masaya's shoulder)
😼Kim: I decided that😆
👤Yama: You again?!
😸
👤Yama: it's kinda scary. That smile becomes more and more scary!
😬Taji: That's right. 🐲Rihi: We have to obey Him. 😼Kim: I decided that (repeat again)
👤Yama: You've become a hell of a king!
---------------------------
6:00 The leader • Kimura Masaya is such a mysterious character that is impossible to understand.
👤Yama: I agree! (that he's not able to understand Masaya) I feel that way.
😼Kim: Why😆😆 I haven't shown the serious side of mine. That side is still hidden.
🐲Rihi: One thing that shocked us is that he seemed to practice astral projection for a while.
👤Yama: ⁉️ what what, wait what's that?
🐲Rihi: We don't know actually...
😼Kim: It's as it is. (the astral projection)
👤Yama: That is what makes us scared...
😼Kim: I wanna experience *astral projection, so I did lots of research and practiced every day. It's spiritual theory; there's routine to achieve that. For example, before going to bed, go to the front door. While falling asleep, imagine the soul is getting out of body. I did this every day. *Astral projection: an intentional out-of-body experiences, where consciousness can separate from the physical body and travel in the astral world.
👤Yama: Did you make it? To what extent have you reached?
😼Kim: I didn't really succeed, but I become aware that I'm dreaming while dreaming (明晰夢 lucid dream) and able to control my dream.
👤Yama: That's impressive! ...but why?
😼Kim: I flew (in my dream)
👤Yama: You flew in the sky! (🧀Nishi bursted out chuckling🤭) 👤Yama: Must be fun... Hey (👉 Nishi) "poo" is not good! 👤Yama: The old man (himself) is listening carefully!
Tumblr media
🧀Nishi: So probably our ridiculously long practice time is this guy's lucid dream?
👤Yama: Like he is in the dream and (doing an impression of Masaya) thinks that 11-hour practice might be fun hehe
😼Kim: I'm not like that😂
👤Yama: (doing an impression of Masaya) if anyone is late even for one second, maybe let him pay some money
😼Kim: I'm like a badass. 👤Yama: You are. Anything else? Let's get it!
🧀Nishi: He can have conversations with the moon🌕
👤Yama: Kimura kun, you can have conversations with moon? (Yamachan's tone lolll it's like he is talking with a kid www)
😼Kim: Especially with the full moon.
👤Yama: The full moon is easier to talk with? (🐲Rihito giggling) What do you talk about? (again yamachan's tone lolll)
😼Kim: I would say something like "thank you"
👤Yama: Did the moon do anything for you? 🐶Kyo: About what...?
😼Kim: That I cannot tell you. (all: you can't say?!) Anyway I would say thank you.
👤Yama: Then what did the moon say?
😼Kim: It reflects with phenomena in real life. For example, it gives me bright feelings and good things happen. (Yamachan, Shizuchan and Rihito can't help but laugh)
Tumblr media
👤Yama: So the moon gives you power, when you feel good you appreciate the moon.
😼Kim: I look straight into the moon and say thank you🙏🏻
👤Yama: That sounds fun. (Turns to Shizuchan) Why are you laughing? Are you making fun of Kimura??
😼Kim: I am serious.
🙍🏻‍♀️Shizu: (smiles) I think it's a really fun way to live.
🐶Kyo: I wish Masaya reveals more serious side of him (like talking with the moon, etc)
🧀Nishi: Is that (talking to the moon) serious?!
🐶Kyo: He tries to hide it.
👤Yama: Better to hide it! It's dangerous!
🐶Kyo: He tries to hide it. (🧀Nishi: Don't show it! x2)
😼Kim: The staffs did such a deep research. I haven't revealed these so far, but they were written on the scripts.
👤Yama: But is it okay to broadcast those? When we were talking about Masaya's episodes I saw a (higher up) person come and say something to the staffs and leave. I thought that person might be saying "please don't broadcast it."
FIN.
====================
I enjoyed this episode a lot! love how Yamachan reacted to Masaya's weirdo behaviors. Half way he acted like talking to a 5 y.o boy loll
Also looking at Rihito in the back. He was first listening very carefully, nodding when Masaya talking about his astral travel practice. But the moon topic, he finally bursted out laughter www
Masaya also talked about these with straight face, which made it even more hilarious 😂 btw, appreciating moon is similar to praying, so it's not really a weirdo thing. I admire his positiveness and optimism, and hope that helps him relieve daily stresses.
Anyway, like kyo said I'd like to hear more hidden facts. Like Masaya once said, INI members are all weirdos. so please show those sides more www

Day 19 - A song you like in a different language
30 days song challenge
Lagu dalam bhs lain ya lsg terpikirkan Sigur Ros sih. Lagu pertama yg kusuka. Eh ini apa Hoppipolla ya lupa wkwk. Lagu2nya Sigur Ros memang mengandung magis sih, gatau ya mentang2 dari iceland ko vibe freezing nya teh kerasa di lagu2nya. Termasuk lagu ini Agaetis byrjun dlm bhs inggrisnya mah "Good Start/Beginning", yg arti keseluruhannya kurang tau ttg apa haha.
Padahal lingkungan aku wkt kuliah Jepang bgt, mentok2 tau Larc n ciel, aku tydac wibu gais.. Dorama ya ngikutin tp pipilih juga. Komik jepang aku ikutin dari kecil, sampe kartun2 jepangnya. Tapi ya seiring wkt interestnya berkurang. Wlpn ambil jurusan sasjep ngga bikin aku wibu. Krn aku ngegeng di kampus sama yg ngga wibu pula haha. Dorama, series jepang di netplik msh aku ikuti ko, apalagi per-Ghibli-an mah hampir semuanya kusuka. Termasuk ini Ponyo, film Ghibli ke 2 fav anakku setelah Totoro, belom nonton yg lain nih nemo.
Ponyo ponyo ponyo sakana no ko~
Nyanyik2 aja ini anakku
Kalo per Kpop-an mah rada telat. Kalo akumah perkoreaan fokusnya di drakor sama variety show Running Man (thn 2010 mulai nih). Kpop kureng, paling hafal2 dikit OST dari drakor2 aja. Malah setelah lulus kuliah jadi ngikutin Bigbang, looohhh ko nak enak..
Tapi ngga bikin aku jadi kpopers yg tergila2 sampe gmn bgt. Aku hanya suka karya2 mreka dan ngikutin update an musik mreka masih dalam batas wajar wkwk

A lot of it can! I built a stupidly overpowered computer given that the game I played the most in the first month or two was Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri from 1999. Windows 11 actually does better with SMAC than Windows 10 did, it's only crashed once! I can also run Creative Suite CS2 which I OWN on this system. Photoshop from 2004 doesn't quite know what to do with multithreading but it's actually still really fast and the 64 gigs of RAM doesn't hurt. At the moment I have NMS running in the background while I have a gadzillion firefox tabs open and I could easily watch a video like this and be fine. One of the upsides of holding on to old software is that where it can take advantage of the new hardware, it really does run very well and you get actually uplift. The issue is that a lot of people lost the thread of Intel's naming scheme and haven't upgraded their computer or they bought something with stupidly little RAM (16g is probably okay but 32 g is what most gamers will be happier with and I bought a little word processing toaster of a netbook in 2020-ish or 2021 which had FOUR gigs of RAM but there was a huge tech shortage at the time and it can do what i needed it to do (run Scrivener) just fine. It cannot handle a lot of tabs open and still do, you know, the operating system. 8 gigs is Sluggish because of Windows bloat.
And yes, I have a fervent desire for two things in programming:
That programmers optimize their programs to run on a wide variety of systems with reasonable speeds
That programmers enable their programs to use things like multithreading and large amounts of available RAM *if there is excess capacity readily available* to speed necessary functions that take significant time. Like, oh, loading screens and transitions shouldn't take much time at all on my system but the cpu is sitting there at like 4% utilization while the framerate drops to 30fps on a LOADING screen because they just had to animate a gadzillion star systems through the gpu alone (looking at you NMS.)
What I mean by that is that, for example, in the gaming sector, there are a lot of companies who are like "How much eye candy can we stuff in here to meet our arbitrary (stupidly low) framerate goal" and most of the "eye candy" is stuff most observers wouldn't know or recognize from a hole in the ground. Yes, I'm talking about Starfield. I didn't understand why they'd accept a framerate of 30fps on console until I discovered they'd artificially locked both Skyrim and Fallout 4 ON THE PC to like 30 or 40 fps. And then tied the physics to framerate, completely unnecessarily (as in you can change this behavior with like two or three ini edits.) Then there's games like Baldur's Gate which was done thoughtfully and can run on a huge range of hardware. I had to return one Civilization game because they hadn't accounted for an aging fanbase and high resolution monitors and I flat out couldn't read the tiny text to play the game.
But yeah, we have this neverending leapfrogging bloat that goes on, where users try to upgrade to get things to work better and companies decide to fill in the new overhead with data mining background tasks and "user experience optimizations" that are a ridiculous rat race that in no way enhances the user experience.
Anyway, I'm not opposed to upgrades but like, do them sensibly and if you can, learn to build your own stuff so that you aren't beholden to the anticonsumer tactics most major computer system integrators (dell, etc.) use to get as much of your money as possible while giving you the least in exchange.
we should globally ban the introduction of more powerful computer hardware for 10-20 years, not as an AI safety thing (though we could frame it as that), but to force programmers to optimize their shit better

Discover the Excellence of Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape
Understanding Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape
The Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape is quickly becoming a favorite among cannabis enthusiasts for its unique combination of purity, potency, and convenience. Unlike many traditional vape cartridges that contain thinning agents or additives, the disposable vape pen is filled with whole melt extracts—a solventless concentrate made by carefully collecting the trichomes of the cannabis plant. This process preserves the plant’s full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes, resulting in an authentic and robust vaping experience.
The Extraction Process Behind Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape
Whole melt extracts are produced using a specialized technique that involves freezing the cannabis flower to preserve its trichomes. These trichomes are then mechanically separated without the use of solvents, maintaining the integrity of the cannabinoids and terpenes. This method ensures the Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape delivers vapor that is free of harmful chemicals while retaining the rich flavor and potency of the original plant.
Key Benefits of Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape
The Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape offers a range of advantages that appeal to both novice and experienced cannabis users. Its disposable design means the device is pre-filled and ready to use straight out of the box, eliminating the need for charging, refilling, or complicated maintenance. This ease of use is particularly beneficial for those new to vaping or those seeking a no-fuss cannabis experience.
Moreover, the purity of whole melt extracts means that every puff delivers a potent dose of cannabinoids and terpenes, providing strong and effective effects. The rich terpene profile enhances flavor, offering a vaping experience that closely resembles smoking high-quality cannabis flower but without the combustion or harshness.
Convenience and Portability of Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape
One of the standout features of the Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape is its portability. Compact and lightweight, the device fits easily into a pocket or purse, making it perfect for on-the-go consumption. Its discreet design produces minimal vapor odor, allowing users to enjoy cannabis without drawing unwanted attention.
Choosing the Right Strain in Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape
The Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape is available in a variety of strains, including sativa, indica, and hybrid options. Each strain offers distinct effects and flavors, enabling users to select the vape that best suits their mood or medical needs. Whether you seek an energizing boost, calming relaxation, or a balanced experience, there is a whole melt disposable vape to match your preferences.
How to Use Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape for Best Results
Using the Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape is straightforward. Simply remove the device from its packaging, peel off any protective seals, and inhale to activate the battery-powered heating element. It is recommended to start with slow, controlled puffs, especially if you are new to vaping, to gauge your tolerance and avoid discomfort. Proper storage in a cool, dry place helps preserve the quality of the extract and extend the device’s lifespan.
Safety and Quality Assurance
Safety is a top priority when choosing vape products. The Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape generally undergoes rigorous third-party lab testing to confirm the absence of contaminants and verify cannabinoid potency. This testing ensures consumers receive a clean and reliable product free from harmful additives or solvents often found in other vape cartridges.
Environmental Responsibility
While disposable devices offer convenience, they can contribute to environmental waste. Users of the Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape are encouraged to dispose of used pens responsibly by utilizing recycling programs or manufacturer take-back initiatives. Choosing to recycle helps reduce the ecological impact of disposable vaping products.
Final Thoughts: Why Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape Is a Superior Choice
The Whole Melt Extracts Disposable Vape combines the benefits of high-quality, solventless cannabis extracts with the simplicity and portability of a disposable device. Its authentic flavor, strong potency, and ease of use make it an excellent option for a wide range of cannabis consumers. Whether you are just beginning your vaping journey or seeking a convenient way to enjoy premium concentrates, the whole melt disposable vape delivers an exceptional experience.

Top Government vs Private Medical Colleges: Which One to Choose?
Medicine is one of the most prestigious and competitive fields in India. Every year, lakhs of students appear for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) with the dream of becoming a doctor. But after clearing the exam, the next big decision is: Should I go for a government medical college or a private medical college?
This choice is critical and can shape not only your educational experience but also your career and financial future. Let’s explore the major differences, advantages, disadvantages, and key factors that will help you decide between government and private medical colleges.
Tumblr media
1. Admission Criteria
The admission process for both government and private medical colleges is based on the NEET score. However, the cut-off marks vary significantly.
Government Colleges: The cut-off is much higher. Only top-ranking candidates (generally within the top 15–20%) get a seat in a government medical college, especially for the MBBS program.
Private Colleges: They also require a NEET score, but the cut-off is usually lower compared to government colleges. Some private institutions also have management quota or NRI quota seats with higher fees but easier access.
2. Fee Structure
The fee difference between government and private medical colleges is one of the biggest deciding factors.
Government Colleges: Extremely affordable. MBBS fees in most government colleges range between ₹20,000 to ₹1,50,000 per year. Some states even subsidize medical education further for domicile candidates.
Private Colleges: Expensive. MBBS fees in private colleges can range from ₹8 lakh to ₹25 lakh per year, going up to ₹1 crore for the entire course in some cases.
3. Quality of Education
When it comes to education, both types of colleges have strengths and weaknesses.
Government Colleges: Generally, have experienced faculty, a structured curriculum, and access to a wide variety of clinical cases because of large government hospital tie-ups. Institutions like AIIMS, Maulana Azad Medical College, and KGMU are internationally recognized.
Private Colleges: The quality of education varies from college to college. Top private colleges like CMC Vellore, Kasturba Medical College (Manipal), or SRM Medical College have good infrastructure and faculty, but many tier-2 or tier-3 private colleges may lack adequate facilities or experienced staff.
4. Infrastructure and Facilities
Government Colleges: While they offer good clinical exposure, some government colleges may face issues like overcrowded hospitals, outdated infrastructure, or limited hostel facilities.
Private Colleges: Typically have better infrastructure, modern labs, air-conditioned classrooms, high-end hostels, and better campus facilities. However, this does not always translate to better clinical training.
5. Clinical Exposure
Government Colleges: This is one area where government colleges shine. The associated hospitals see thousands of patients every day, providing unmatched clinical exposure. Students learn to handle a variety of medical conditions, emergencies, and surgeries.
Private Colleges: Clinical exposure can be limited in some private colleges due to lower patient footfall, especially in rural or lesser-known institutions.
6. Reputation and Recognition
Government Colleges: Institutions like AIIMS, JIPMER, MAMC, and BHU are globally recognized. Government degrees are highly respected and may give you an edge in PG entrance exams, research opportunities, and job placements.
Private Colleges: Reputation varies. A few top private colleges have good recognition, but many are yet to build a strong academic or clinical reputation.
7. Job and PG Opportunities
Government College Graduates: With better clinical exposure and reputation, students from government colleges often perform better in PG entrance exams (like NEET-PG, INI-CET). Many also secure jobs in government or prestigious private hospitals.
Private College Graduates: Success depends heavily on self-effort. Students from top private colleges can also succeed in PG exams and get good placements, but those from lesser-known institutes may struggle due to weaker training.
8. Return on Investment (ROI)
Government Colleges: Low cost and high-quality education lead to excellent ROI. Students often recover their educational investment within a year or two of working.
Private Colleges: Due to the high fees, the return on investment may take years, especially if the student does not clear PG exams or get into a high-paying job immediately.
9. Scholarships and Financial Aid
Government Colleges: Students can access various central and state scholarships. The lower fee makes them more affordable even without scholarships.
Private Colleges: Few offer scholarships, and those that do are mostly merit-based or for specific categories. High fees remain a barrier for many.
10. Peer Group and Competition
Government Colleges: Since these institutions admit top rankers, the peer group is highly competitive and motivated, which can push students to perform better.
Private Colleges: With varied NEET scores, the level of competition among peers may be lower. Some students may not be as academically driven.
Tumblr media
Choose a Government Medical College if:
You have a good NEET rank.
Budget is a constraint.
You want strong clinical exposure.
You are looking for a high ROI.
You aim to clear PG exams or pursue higher studies.
Choose a Private Medical College if:
You are financially well-supported.
Your NEET score isn't enough for a government seat.
You want a more comfortable campus life.
You are confident in your ability to self-study and succeed.
Conclusion
Both government and private medical colleges can produce excellent doctors. What truly matters is the student's dedication, hard work, and passion for medicine. While government colleges offer quality education at a low cost, private colleges provide an alternative route for those who can afford it or miss the cut-off. Before choosing, analyze your NEET score, financial situation, long-term goals, and personal preferences carefully. A smart decision today can lead to a successful and fulfilling medical career tomorrow.
