This Thor concept art suit (designed by Wesley Burt for Infinity War) is so so so important to me. This look has lived rent free in my head since I saw it in the artbook.

To me, this version of Thor is a true King of Asgard, god of Thunder, and Norse warrior. The design pays homage to previous Thor suits, as well as Odin’s MCU looks. A Warrior King, a Pirate Angel, the Protector of Midgard.

Selfishly, it feels SO COOL to be one of the only people to have cosplayed this look. The first ever suit I cosplayed was Thor’s infinity war look, so it feels poetic to have this be my “best” suit, using my real hair and beard and all.

Painting some stuff for myself for a change! Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight from Marvel Crisis Protcol's rendition of Thanos' Black Order. Thought it'd be funny to paint the whole Black Order as assorted Dragonball villains. These two are doing a couples cosplay as Vegeta and OG colourscheme Vegeta. The best part of painting these nerds is looking up their wiki page for inspiration and seeing that while I was misguided in thinking they hadn't existed before Avengers Infinity War, I wasn't missing out on too much.

Some highlights of Comic Con Paris (where I was this weekend):

- a cosplayer dressed as that picture of liam neeson as qui-gon with a rainbow umbrella (the guy even had long grey-ish hair, he looked so much like Liam neeson!)

- a boba fett with a hawaiian shirt and skirt(?)

- Anthony Daniels. This man is hilarious, I wasnt expecting it x)

- my sister asking me which anime a bunch of people in fursuits were dressed as (she doesn't know what a furry is)

- a LOT of star wars cosplays (my Anakin cosplay wasn't very original lol)

- a group of deadpools doing the spiderman meme pointing at each other

- a few barbies (but no kens 😞)

- really cool costumes at the cosplay competition, including a dragon woman, a somewhat biblically accurate angel (both had moving wings), an iron man with the infinity glove lighting up and a helmet that opened on its own, a chainsaw man with moving chainsaws and smoke coming out of it, a really cool clone trooper, a palpatine that had the perfect palpatine walk, and Harley Queen and Poison Ivy kissing on stage.
