Started thinking about Infinite Falling Universe again after reading Book of Bill and wanted to edit possessed Amelia and drop some lore

She and Ford worked together for a while after he boarded the train (this was a bit after Fiddleford quit working on the portal). Ford admired the train's technology but had no idea how any of it worked until he met Amelia while looking through The Unfinished Car. She had just overthrown the conductor and was still DEEPLY pissed that he refused to make a car that could give Alrick a new physical form. He admired the car and offered to help her fix it and make more that resembled her old life as long as she helped him make a portal to give Bill a physical form ("If you help me recreate my muse I'll help you recreate yours'' sort of) She doesn't trust him entirely,but knowing he could make her cars without One One's interference,she reluctantly accepts

She goes from being ambivalent to seeing him as a coworker,at least when Bill isn't possessing him. The fact that he is essentially fused with his loved one makes her so mad and she starts drifting apart from him once his and Bill's relationship peaks. When Ford starts getting paranoid to the point where he keeps Bill out of his head Bill decides to possess Amelia to finish the portal. Once she realizes Bill is more focused on hurting and isolating Ford instead of working on the portal she abandons both of them and doesn't regret it until after she meets Tulip and tries to make up for her mistakes under One-One

Bill knew her intelligence but saw her more as a little sibling to tease when he got bored, and by teasing he means reminding her of how lonely she actually is. She despises him but the only thing keeping her from knocking him out of Ford herself is the fact that he can bring Alrick back. Or so he promised.

What do you think Hazel would call Amelia? Like, would she call her Miss Hughes or would she use some nickname that was used by Alrick?

Oh, the idea of her using a nickname that Alrick used is a fun one! I like to think she calls her 'Amelia' or 'Miss Hughes' at first, thought, before using a cute lil nickname.

I don't know why but i occasionally (really often) think of the scenes in book three where Amelia talks about One. Of course this is all obvious i just want to get it out of my mind.

In the beginning of the Canyon of the Golden Winged Snakes, she reads the little note One-One gave her. At the end, when she reads just 'One' she looks confused, before flipping it over to read '-One'.

Then she looks sad and regretful.

Later in that episode, when Hazel compliments her pancakes, Amelia apologizes for having to decline her first compliment in Thirty Three years.

Such an oddly specific number. I wonder what One had said to her. She doesn't seem to think negatively towards One(-One) at all, calling him a little peanut. (how cute!)

Yet in book one She tries to kill him, collapsing the ballpit while he's in it. And One-One seemed terrified in the few moments he was looking at Amelia.

She seems regretful.

I really want a book five, i'd love to see what their relationship was like.

For some context for this drawing, I don't think Hunter would be the biggest fan of Amelia, mostly due to her treatment of Hazel. So this drawing is supposed to be when Hunter snaps and calls Amelia out.

Another idea about the Infinity Train.

When creating Cars, One-One is inspired by what he saw when viewing Memory Tapes. Watching the tapes is his only way to see what is outside the train. So he rolls on other people's memories, looks at different places, things, creatures and at the same time reads the recorded thoughts of the owner of the memory.

In this way, he learns about new concepts and uses them when creating new cars. For example, he learned about the concept of dinosaurs in one memory, and the concept of baseball in another, after which at some point he made the Dinosaur Baseball Car.

But he also takes concepts from recorded thoughts. Some Passenger could at some point in his life think about what dinosaurs playing baseball would look like, and One-One read this thought and decided to embody it in the form of a Dinosaur Baseball Car.

And thus, the Denizens of the Dinosaur Baseball Car can either be based on the images that the Passenger came up with, that is, the Passenger came up with the appearance, names and backstory for each dinosaur, or they were entirely created by One-One.

The conflict with Amelia happened because One-One did not want to create a car exactly copying something that already existed. He could have created several cars based on concepts from Amelia's memory, while she wanted him to stuff all these concepts into one car. She needed a car that would copy the city where she lived and in which there would be Denizens who would look like and consider themselves to be people from that city.

However, many years later, when One-One became a Conductor again, and Amelia began to help fix the damage she had done to the train, he decided to finish what Amelia had not been able to do for all these years. He finished the Unfinished Car.

He removed the jam pond and the holes from which the wind blew, added walls to unfinished buildings, fixed gravity and everything else. After his work, the city began to look like the city where Amelia lived, except that instead of humans there were turtles. And the turtles forgot that once the city looked different and they had to adapt to different things. Now they think their Car has always been like this.

After that, One-One calmed down, as he really didn’t like the existence of a clumsy unfinished car. And at the same time, the finished car did not contradict the rules and the idea of the train, since there was neither Alrick nor any other human person in it, only a lot of turtles. There was nothing that would have motivated Amelia to stay on the train forever.

Now I wonder how Amelia would react after One-One showed her and Hazel the Finished car

Honestly, I'd imagine Amelia to be pretty upset, since he went and did it anyway after she was told not to and punished for trying. I'm not sure how Hazel would feel honestly. Maybe less alone since there are other turtle denizens? Comforted?
