so.... Let me get this straight.... Sky sports -- a 3rd party re-broadcaster of indycar races -- is able to have uninterrupted race feed even during nbc cable commercial breaks. But peacock -- the official nbc streaming service -- resorts to a "coverage will resume shortly" slide with background music that doesnt even loop properly... and they want us to pay for their service over other better and cheaper services?

not to linger on the georgina "collapsing mannequin" event but not even larry david could write high comedy that powerful. the initial "oh boy... there's been an accident of a different kind" promptly followed by "we should point out that is NOT a real person", and then the now-iconic running commentary "what if she stuck the landing" and "by the way her name is georgina" and "we've lost james hinchcliffe as well as georgina" and finally "alex palou leads by 3 seconds.... oh don't show us again we're never gonna get hinch back" i just..... we haven't seen a comedy troupe as compelling as the NBC indycar commentators since monty python. leigh diffey in particular has no business being that fucking funny.

Then also - please take care of yourself, following a 24H race doesn't have to mean you watch every single minute, take brakes, hydrate, the race will still be there when you return.
