I think the washed up streamer to alt right pipeline needs to be studied under a microscope, specifically this most recent one bc Dream is trying SO hard to hold onto the fans he has while simultaneously alienating them by pulling these weird stunts.

Like he obviously doesn’t understand that just because you can reclaim a slur doesn’t mean you should call an entire group of ppl them, or you should at least not be surprised when you receive copious amounts of backlash for doing so. Either that or he really does want it both ways and he’s willing to sacrifice himself actually looking like a fucking joke to do so.

Also idk if it’s just my circles but I really don’t know anyone, on either side of the aisle (I do have a couple friends I’d label as conservative to a degree) who is ok with using the R slur, ESPECIALLY not in that context. Like maybe they’ll call themselves r worded but like. Idk. Even my father is super against the word and he had an actually repulsive vocabulary.

Genuinely the funniest blunder of 2025 so far, I used to be a p big dream fan but that man fell off like 3 years ago and it’s only gotten worse over time.

Some updates!!! Since I have not touched tumblr reliably since a p major change lol.

So I moved!!! From Montana to Salt Lake! Gonna be moving again in a couple months to the west coast, and hopefully from there I won’t be moving much anymore.

I am now aware of the directions I need to head in, in order to properly assess and take care of my mental health. Cannot start that process till I move, but I have started logging all the symptoms I have observed in the very least.

I did not feel safe or stable for a very long while, and it definitely affected my ability to post or exist anywhere reliably, I still don’t feel stable in my employment but I am with good people, and my partners are extraordinary and treat me very well. I’ve finally made a few friends irl and I think that’s helped tremendously. I’m gonna go hang out with some of them today actually :3

I rly want to get back to posting riptide art soon, I wanna start posting taz art and maybe some other things if they strike my fancy, so we shall see how that goes. I actually do have a few riptide arts on the back burner, a few ideas too lol.
