Polish Haitians are Haitian people of Polish descent, dating to the early 19th century. Polish Haitians are mixed race and often identified by such European features such as blonde or lighter and straighter hair, light eyes, and facial features. Prominent Polish communities such as Les Cayes and Cazale have descendants of surviving members of Napoleon's Polish Legionnaires which were forced into combat by Napoleon but later joined the Haitian slaves during the Haitian Revolution. Initially most Poles settled in Cazale, La Vallée-de-Jacmel, Fond-des-Blancs, La Baleine, Port-Salut and Saint-Jean-du-Sud, where they lived as peasants, along with their Haitian wives and families.

1000xRESIST-themed nail varnish

The 1000xRESIST brainrot has NOT left me, so I got my nails done with the colours of the sisters! Allmo all alone on the pinky, Watcher and Fixer being cute together, Healer and BBF being... whatever they were (trauma besties?),

Principal and Knower being devious and apart from the other sisters, Observant (sorry for picking Mauve) being as always at Knower's side, and finally ending with Iris and Blue randomly at the end, miscellaneous... (Soz for being a nerd, I just love how the nails look!!)

And if you want to use the same colours, I got Black Ocean 055, Pool Party 433, Deja Vu 788, Cherry Blossom 558, Portland Orange 422, Lucky Red 637, Grape Jelly 581, Frosty Taro 119 (beautiful), and White Fur 161! Sorry I dont remember what Yellow I used :(

Book Shout-outs for Pride Month #1:

Ever wanted a series of lesbian superhero romances, all stand-alone, but set in the same universe and building off of each other (think Phase 1 MCU)?

Hearts of Heroes series by Molly J. Bragg. They're more romance than superheroes, but once you know what to expect it's GREAT.

Scatter is about a US Deputy Marshal who gets promoted to work with the team around the superhero Focus. From the first moment on, there is something strange between her and Focus, but only when she accidentally time travels back to the early 90's begins she to realize that she may be Focus' mysterious long-lost partner, Scatter.

Transistor is about a woman who gains superpowers because the doctors forget to deactivate the supercomputer used in her gender-affirming surgery. It only really becomes an issue when an angry angel comes after her neighbour and long-term crush, very determined to kill her.

Aether has a disabled protagonist, who dies when the building blows up during an experiment. Luckily for her, her consciousness gets somehow preserved, and she gains extremely strong powers. Now she just has to stop the guy who caused the accident from doing it again...

Rhapsody isn't out yet, but based on the summary, it is going to go more into the dragon side of the lore.

i feel like if I had to compare her last two albums to OG pop taylor albums, midnights (standard edition) would be most similar to a much darker 1989, whereas ttpd (side a) feels more like lover
