Understanding Lennon McCartney Rewatch Part 1.3
Okay can anyone explain the “false hotel registration” thing to me? Does it mean they registered under a false name? So Paul registered under a false name so he could go fuck a girl in his room without getting in trouble with the press? I'm confused. Didn't they bring girls to their rooms all the time without getting in trouble? It doesn't make sense. Why did he feel the need to register under a different name?
Paul, talking about American conservatism, “So many organizations over here that are nuts anyway.” John, “Yeah, they're so far right they just–” tape ends. They really were brave, though. To say what they thought and risk losing what they'd only just got. I wonder who cut the recording.
Journalist: Paul, are you planning to marry Jane Asher? John: scream ‘no.’ Go on. Lol John certainly says what he feels doesn't he?
Paul making fun of the racist question. Good job bud.
The whole “Yesterday” thing is crazy. Like, what a feat, first of all. I think we forget how unbelievably successful the song was.
Second of all, I know John's reaction was childish and mean, but his feelings were valid if you just look at the treatment and reception of “Ticket to Ride” (John's dead mum song). Like objectively yesterday is a better song, but still.
Oh, John. Poor thing.
If “Girl” is secretly about Paul . . . yeesh. It's so obsessive and adoring and simultaneously so disappointed and disparaging. John always has such impossible standards for Paul. “She promises the earth to me and I believe her, after all this time I don't know why.” Um… maybe because he literally did give you the world? At so many points I find myself asking, “what more could Paul possibly have given John?”
People always take this quote as a sexuality thing, but couldn't it also be a conscience thing? Revulsion at taking advantage of the fact that all these women are fans? At the scale of his infidelity? I don't know, am I giving him too much credit?
The thing about Paul, John – and though it drives you insane, it's a big factor in why you love him -- is he's not going to be bullied into anything. If he decides to take LSD it's going to be on his own terms. And I know you think it'll bring you two closer, and you're right, but peer pressure just doesn't work on him. There's no point. You know that.
I LOVE Paul and the Indica. Designing the wrapping paper in secret up in his little attic room, covering over the shop windows so he can do his handyman work building shelves and painting in peace. It's Linda's Paul pre Linda, you know?
John is so good at PR as in making something sound as beautiful and important and powerful as possible. Which is something Paul absolutely relied on John to do and clearly could not do on his own after the break up. Look how John makes them almost into prophets here.
"I really wanted to live in London but I wouldn't risk it." Another thing to make John envious of Paul and resentful of Cynthia. I really wish those two had just never got married.
“I don't object to people having a lot of money, I never did. But I do object to people being stony broke and starving.” RIP John, you would've loved the American “left” of today. But you can't have the former without the latter, sorry.
This picture always gets me. It's ridiculous. Pattie and George. Mo and Ringo. John and Paul. With Cynthia awkwardly by herself. It's funny. It's adorable. It's crushing. And with that quote? It's impossible.
I think Tara Browne is overlooked. Paul brought him home for Christmas. That's a big deal. And John hated him enough to laugh when he read about his death. That's also a big deal. Paul and his messed up social climbing obsession. I do think it's worth pointing out, though, the difference between Paul’s LSD trip with Tara and his trip with John. More on that later.
I really do think they were all staunchly anti-racist for their time, you know, besides John's racist jokes and drawings… but Paul particularly. And I have to wonder where that came from. Did he have empathy for people being judged on appearance and background? Was it partially due to his idolization of black artists? Did Little Richard maybe say something to him about racism in America? Anyone have any thoughts?
Actually, same, John.
Okay and I have to share my hot take on the whole Jesus scandal. It's this: the American right doesn't actually care about Jesus. They care about protecting their hegemony. They didn't like that the Beatles were openly and stubbornly integrationist. They didn't like Paul's comment about their inhumane racism. But they couldn't openly counter that without showing their hand. So they used the Jesus comment as an excuse. If they play the religious persecution card, they get to paint themselves as the victims and therefore the good guys while they take down anyone who challenges the status quo that keeps them in money and power (aka the Beatles).
Maybe I should've had a “poor baby” tally because the number of times I've said that about John in these comments has got to be tally-worthy. I would've driven around in a gorilla suit with you, honey!
It is actually amazing that there hasn't been more speculation on Paul's sexuality with all these serious boyfriends.
Paul tells a story about a time he flew a plane, and how much better he liked it than being a passenger. First off. Imagine being a pilot and just being like “oh, you've never touched a joystick in your life, but you're Paul McCartney? Sure, go ahead. Fly the plane.” But also. His control issues and his confidence are both off unreal. No one in their right mind would feel more safe flying a plane – as someone with a complete lack of experience – than when a licensed pilot is flying it.
Okay I literally JUST learned that Here There and Everywhere says, “how good it can be” not could. Can. And it's one of those in my "for sure this was about John" folder. Okay then. Wow.
The thing is they really did compliment each other's songs a lot more than modern Paul makes it seem like. So I wonder what it was about the “Here There and Everywhere” compliment that made it so special to Paul?
This footage where John is hiding behind McCharmley. I love protective Paul and how different he is to protective John and how much they needed each other.
Hall of Fame quote: “what composer do you respect the most?” “I dunno really. John Lennon.” “Paul McCartney.”

Oddly Specific Prog Questions That Get Progressively (hah) Weirder and More Specific
What do you think happened in Asia (the band)?
If you were to ask them, which prog musician could you see picking a llama as their favorite animal?
Who would win oiled up naked wrestling: the 2112 Starman or the naked guy on the cover of Going For The One?
Why do YOU think Roger Dean painted the cover of Close to the Edge green and only green?
What do you think would happen if you tried to tell Ian Anderson not to dry brush his curls?
Do you think anyone in Genesis thinks Tony Banks has autism but won't tell him?
Do you think anyone in Yes ever seriously considered murder throughout the course of the band's history?
What do you think happened in Switzerland when Yes and ELP were recording at the same studio at the same time in 1977? And don't just say "gay sex"-- elaborate a little.
Would you, personally, survive being roommates with Greg Lake and Chris Squire between 1969 and 1970?
You have to play tennis against Peter Hammill. Do you think you could win?
Do you think Rush mainly smoked indica, sativa, or hybrids while writing Caress of Steel?
What do you think Robert Fripp did to Bill Bruford to finally get him to chill the fuck out?
Do you think Peter Gabriel ever considered commissioning a furry artist?
Which of the Shulman brothers do you think always took the top bunk of a bed?
Who do you think would fuck making a grilled cheese so bad that they burn down their entire apartment complex and have to lie and say they don't know how they fire started?
Do you think Eddie Offord remembered to debone and defeather that pigeon before cooking it in Yes's studio?
If they were all stranded together on a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific together for ONLY 60 days, do you think any bands would turn to cannibalism in that time? They the means to acquire adequate food--- do you think they would just get crazy enough to do that?
If Keith Emerson's Hammond Organ had a consciousness, do you think it would have consented to being stabbed as a sex thing?

I have many conflicting feelings about women's day. Not because of the meaning and the discussion, of course, but about how people "celebrate" it. I'm sorry, but even if I ignore the fact that I am trans (mostly closeted but alas), I don't wanna be congratulated on being a woman.
I'm not saying that celebrating being a woman is bad. It is very good in fact, and a way of rebelling too – I've seen enough videos of gender reveals where the dad is mad the baby is not a "boy" to know how much just being a woman is still frowned upon. What bothers me is that the celebration feels imposed, not coming from the women, and hiding the real meaning of this day, ofuscating the discussions we should be having.
Some depressing things from Brasil, my country (cw: there will be statistics about violence, rape and assassinations):
Women could only vote and be voted for in 1932. This is yesterday. Women still didn't have the same political rights and duties as men until 1965. Funny(sad) thing is that it was during the dictatorship, so in reality no, women couldn't express any political power at the time. [1]
Only 15% of the elected people are women. Only 33% of the candidates are women (the minimum percentage established by the law is 30%). [1]
In 2024, every 6 minutes one woman was raped. In that year, 1467 women were killed for being a woman/gender reasons. [2]
Women gain 19,4% less than men. This also varies due to colour and position (women in manager positions are 25% less paid than their male counterparts), of course. As you can imagine black women and black men are even less paid than white women and man, and are also less often employed. [3]
Women work more. Women are always working. In a study, 83% of the women said they had a "double shift work journey"; they have their day (paid) jobs, but arriving home they need to take care of family members (not only children! Men not often take care of their parents and other family members) and house chores. Another study points out that from the 7 million women between 15 and 29 yo that don't study or work, 36,5% don't do so because they need to take care of family members and house chores. [4]
Last year, one trans person was killed every 3 days (122 people). From those, 117 were trans women. 66% of the victims were younger than 35 years. Most of them were black and poor. [5]
In 2023, the emergency hotline was called 848 036 to report domestic violence, with 258 941 records. [6]
What I want to say is: don't congratulate people for being women. DON'T FUCKING SAY HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY. (if you wanna celebrate being a woman please do, that's not what I mean). VOTE for women in the next election. Help your sisters, mothers, friends. Share the house chores equally. Fight for women's rights in your workplace (and yours too). BELIEVE VICTIMS.
DON'T FUCKING LET CAPITALISM TRANSFORM THIS DATE IN A CASH GRAB. DON'T FORGET THE FEMINIST FIGHT.
DON'T LET CAPITALISM WIN THIS FIGHT.
DON'T LET CAPITALISM MAKE YOU FORGET THE FIGHT.

Paperback Writer
The Beatles’ 1966 single “Paperback Writer” is noteworthy for —
Its new driving sound...
Its surreal storytelling...
Its unprecedented international success...
Its lackluster domestic sales...
Serving as a harbinger of Revolver...
Providing the musical matrix for The Monkees...
Its deeper connection to a through-line (one of many) in The Beatles Story.
Painting testimonial pictures....
It's a guitar riff nasty enough to take the paint off the wall — yet played so fluidly and melodically that it almost sounds baroque in its articulation.
Add to that the newfound thickness of the drums and stunningly deep bass tone (courtesy of copious company rule-breaking by new chief engineer Geoff Emerick and his accomplice assistant engineer Ken Townsend).
But what really drives “Paperback Writer” is how the lyric gives the appearance of a cover letter from an aspiring novelist pitching the treatment for their new novel. Layers upon layers. Who does that? It's mad! And also short and to the point, so it doesn't ever become tedious. Like an ideal cover letter!
What's it all about?!
After its release the single went #1 in twelve countries (includo UK and US), the most simultaneous #1's of any artist ever perhaps. Maybe not, but certainly in the top three, and definitely the most of any band ever.
Despite topping the charts at home once again, domestic sales were apparently the most sluggish of any Beatles record since “Love Me Do”. Curious.
Nonetheless, in the mass consciousness it served to bridge the musical space between the sounds of Rubber Soul echoing through the spring of 1966, and the opening strains of “Taxman” that would inaugurate the musical cornucopia of Revolver later that summer.
The deeper you go....
In essence “Paperback Writer” was Paul's subtle plug for his girlfriend's brother's new boutique bookshop, and books and reading in general.
Completely incidentally, “Paperback Writer” also represents exactly one half of the template for “Last Train To Clarksville”, the made-to-order Boyce/Hart composition to be released a few months later as the debut single for the made-for-American-TV Beatles knock-off series The Monkees. The other half of that template is the final track on Rubber Soul, “Run For Your Life”. Along with the entirety of Rubber Soul and the forthcoming Revolver albums, “Paperback Writer” and its b-side constitute the core matrix of The Monkees sound that would emerge over the next two years across six albums and as many singles.
And in the end...
Deeper still, the most magical element of “Paperback Writer” is the much larger story surrounding it — involving Pink Floyd, Peter and Gordon, Marianne Faithful, Yoko Ono, and The Beatles themselves — a story that centres around one Indica Bookstore (and Gallery) in St. James, London...

The first photo of John and Yoko together - and of her attending a Beatles recording session (for, in this case, 'The Fool on the Hill') - taken in 1967🎍🎍🎍
So much for the notion that, after their initial meeting at Central London's Indica Gallery on November 9, 1966, they didn't see each other again until John's return from India in May '68🌵
Yoko showed up at EMI with interviewer Rumiko Hoshika and photographer Koh Hasebe from Japan's 'Music Life' magazine🪴

Re: John being demi - don’t you think it’s possible he had sex because that’s what was expected of him? His age, lifestyle, etc. Especially because of his self-destructive tendencies and not always acting on how he truly feels. Or acting in a way that doesn’t express how he truly feels - i.e. Barcelona. He could have easily slept with Yoko early on, with her throwing herself at him but it wasn’t until correspondence and a deeper connection did he engage sexually. Not to mention him not wanting to have sex with men later in life because he couldn’t find one he connected with in that way. To me even the lyric “My love will turn you on” - is revealing.
If you want to interpret John Lennon as demisexual then you certainly can and I can't and won't stop you. But since you're asking me directly my answer is just a flat "no." John was sexually attracted to women so he slept with them. He was conventional that way. He was also hooking up with Yoko soon after Indica, he did not wait until the night he took LSD with her and recorded the sex tape.
You need to remember the cultural climate John existed in. It was "expected" of John to get married to a woman, settle down with her, have children, hold a steady uninspiring job, and then die at 70 with a gold pocket watch in his waistcoat without ever standing out from the crowd or doing anything that would express his individuality and personal needs. These were the stultifying expectations John grew up under and he hated it.
The Beatles kept their orgies secret because it would have destroyed them as a band if it got out that they were nailing groupies, this is the exact OPPOSITE of it being "expected" of them to have sex with lots of women.
The performative aspect was the groupies expectation of John to act like Beatle John while he was thrusting. That doesn't mean John disliked it or was carrying out an act he found distasteful for the sake of expectations. And remember: John kept posters of Bridget Bardot and Elvis Presley in his bedroom at Mendips because he was jerkin' it to their images. He only had a parasocial fanboy relationship with them but he was deeply sexually attracted to both. This is the opposite of demisexuality which requires a personal connection of some kind.
I talked about this in the McLennon server this afternoon so I'll just repost what I said in there:
Leggy「IT'S A GUNDAM 」 — Today at 5:20 PM john was just so laden with PTSD and agoraphobia
like Shotton talks about how John started turtling up once he got Kenwood, the hibernation years were a long time coming. but he was so deeply separated from other people even as a child and that just got worse and worse over time.
like sex was a way for John to connect with human beings and I wonder if it was the only way he could. that's not to say he couldn't fall in love if he met people but he had to keep his connections shallow as a matter of survival, he wasn't able to form those relationships easily and when he did connect to others it was because they pursued him.
Cynthia was the aggressor in her relationship with John, he liked her but he didn't pay attention to her until she dyed her hair blonde to catch his eye. Paul was super down bad. Yoko stalked him.
Otherwise even as a teenager John's relationships were strictly about sex, not romantic love, and he wasn't interested in romantic love until Paul and art school came into his life.
***
This is the exact opposite of demisexuality. John could form personal relationships and he could fall in love with people but when he did, he seemed to back away from them sexually. If we count Paul as one of John's lovers (and I do) then we see this happen to where John broke it off with Paul to pursue someone else physically (in this case Yoko.) John liked using sex as a way to connect with others but the moment genuine feelings got involved he got skittish. Note that he initially was planning to buy a house with May Pang but then he went back to Yoko when the Montauk plans began solidifying. John was certainly attracted to May Pang and he certainly had a personal connection with her but when that started getting a little too real and too deep, then he left her and would only hook up with her occasionally in controlled environments where he could ghost her easily afterwards.
The same thing happened with Yoko: after Sean was born, she and John stopped having sex and she sent him to the massage parlors to avoid dealing with him.
And don't forget how John's relationship with May Pang started: Yoko hired May Pang to be John's mistress. May was paid by Yoko to have sex with John and to keep him within Yoko's reach while they were in Los Angeles, what with Yoko's daily phone calls. May did fall in love with John but John knew that May was a business asset controlled by his wife and that she was being paid to never leave him. This was the foundation of their affection for each other. When May and John went back to New York and started looking for houses in Montauk, John opted to go back to Yoko for her smoking cure and came back ready to leave May Pang, aka the relationship with May Pang was becoming too real and too deeply rooted in actual Love (with that capital L) that meant May would no longer be forced to stay with John due to receiving a salary from Yoko Ono.
What seems to be more of a pattern in his life is that he was very wary of forming personal connections with others, when they did form it was because the second person pursued him vigorously, and then he had a saddening tendency to leave once his love with that second person began to develop into a deep, long lasting adult relationship. If anything, John seemed to use sex as a way to keep himself hidden and to stop forming connections with others because the moment he had sex with someone he could safely label them "disposable" which is exactly what he did with Paul and May despite his intense connections with both of them and the fact that he was sexually intimate with both of them.
John seemed to fear love and the responsibilities and ecstasies that it brings. This is not demisexuality as I understand it and I simply cannot agree with the assertion that John was demisexual.
#there is a McLennon aspect to all this but that would require an entire post of its own#john lennon#yoko ono#may pang#the beatles#beatles meta#my meta

we ordered some seeds recently and they've now arrived which is very exciting so it's time for me to ramble about our gardening plans for this year.
the first seeds we decided on getting were Mock Strawberries (Potentilla indica, also known as Duchesnea indica)

one of our friends taught me how to identify them and they've become one of my favourite plants, but I've never seen one in person so I'm really looking forward to growing them. I also just really want to try the fruit they produce. every description I've seen says they taste disappointing and this has mostly just made me more curious about trying them.
I'm growing the P. indica in our room alongside our other houseplants, but we also ordered some native species to plant outside.
initially we were just going to plant Kidney Vetch (Anthyllis vulneraria) since it's the larval food plant of the Small Blue (Cupido minimus) which is considered vulnerable here but has previously been recorded very close to where we live. I figure even if they don't attract any Small Blues, at least they'll be good for the other pollinators, and if they do attract them, that's a huge bonus.
while looking for seeds online, though, I found a site that supplies seeds for native plants and ended up looking through what else they had available. I settled on getting the Kidney Vetch, as well as Colt's-foot (Tussilago farfara), Common Spotted-orchid (Dactylorhiza fuchsii), Wood Vetch (Ervilia sylvatica), Wild Strawberry (Fragaria vesca), and Viper's-bugloss (Echium vulgare)

I tried to pick species that can be planted at any time of year and should do well with the amount of sunlight and shade and the type of vegetation we already have in the garden.
the orchids are a species I've seen nearby so I'm hoping the soil here has the right fungus for them to grow, but either way they can take several years to sprout so we'll have to wait to find out. if they don't grow, oh well, and if they do grow it'll be a fun surprise.
I'm really excited about the Viper's-bugloss because it looks absolutely stunning and apparently pollinators love it, but I've never had the chance to see it in person and it takes a couple of years to flower so it's something nice to look forward to.
the garden already has a lot of native plants and it's been really nice seeing more and more biodiversity here each year. it doesn't really require any maintenance because the plants are ones that grow wild here anyway which is really handy since we don't have the energy for a garden that does require regular maintenance. I'm hoping that these new plants might bring in a wider range of insect species which would be really fun to see

#love story
One soul for two.

58 years ago, on November 9, 1966, John Lennon first met Yoko Ono at an art show in London, where she presented her exhibition "Unfinished Paintings and Objects". To this day, many believe that this was the beginning of the end of the holiday era called the Beatles.

Without realizing it, he had long been looking for a woman who looked like his frivolous mother Julia and domineering aunt Mimi, who raised him. Everything was smooth in his marriage with his wife Susan — she did not burden him with herself, did not bother him with conversations, cooked well and was great in bed. Another man would have carried such a woman in his arms, but not Lennon. He lacked madness, passion, hooliganism. Critics will later write about this period of John's life:
"When you get everything in your youth, life becomes insanely boring and insipid. You will involuntarily start looking for adventures."
They first met in November 1966. Lennon, on the recommendation of a friend, went to the Indica gallery for an exhibition of "anti-art". The spacious hall was crowded, everyone was talking about something, discussing the latest news. John has always resisted this society of snobs and mawkish intellectuals. Out of boredom, he decided to take a walk and suddenly came across an inscription: "Beat it up." Lennon wanted to carry out his plan, but a voice called out to him: "Only for five shillings." That's what Yoko said.

This was the first time he saw the woman of his whole life, but he did not attach much importance to the fateful acquaintance. And the very next morning I received my first message from her — a book where She talked about the world order, the meaning of life and all that, which the famous musician, who had had enough of the love of the audience, did not care about. From that day on, the persistent Japanese woman continued to attack John with notes, calls and sudden meetings.

It was not the first time that the Japanese woman bewitched men with her unflattering beauty. She has already had two marriages under her belt — the first with the talented but poor composer Toshi Ichiyanagi, the second with producer Anthony Cox, who pulled Yoko out of depression several times, but, alas, did not deserve her love. The couple divorced as soon as Lennon's muse managed to win over his genius.
Susan immediately suspected something was wrong and demanded an explanation from John. He waved it off, saying that she was a crazy artist. But Yoko did not even think about giving up, she bent her line until Lennon's marriage finally fell apart. Leaving his wife, he shouted in his heart that their son Julian was the result of an extra bottle of whiskey. Then it seemed to Lennon that he had finally found true freedom. He would later say that Yoko had replaced all those who had left his life and forced him to look at himself and the world around him differently.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr still remember the day when Ono first entered the recording studio with Lennon. John didn't even want to listen to his friends who tried to explain to him that a woman didn't belong here. "She didn't know a damn thing about music, but she was telling Paul how to sing and me how to play the drums. We were furious, but there was nothing we could do about it. John didn't seem to hear us," Ringo said in an interview. In 1970, the legendary Liverpool Four broke up.
The band's business had not been good for a long time, the Beatles stopped writing new songs and were engaged in creativity separately, but millions of fans around the world refused to believe that the former team was no more. The angry audience immediately blamed Yoko for everything. The newspapermen happily picked up on this idea, and at the same moment headlines appeared in the press: "The Black Witch destroyed the Beatles", "The devil possessed the Liverpool four," but Lennon didn't care about it either: they completely dissolved into each other, even looked the same: shapeless clothes, round glasses and long Her hair was parted in the middle.

Shortly before the breakup of The Beatles, Lennon and Yoko set up their own studio where they could create whatever they wanted. It is here that John will record his famous album Imagine. Later, critics would recognize him as the best musician's record, and the real "Beatlemans" would grab their heads and curse his Japanese muse with renewed vigor.

In 1969, the mad lovers will get married in Gibraltar, the ceremony will last a record 72 minutes. And again, all traditions will be broken, it's not Yoko who will take John's last name, but he will take hers. Back in Amsterdam, the happy newlyweds will rent a presidential suite in one of the city's hotels, change into pajamas and... call together journalists. This "recumbent conference" lasted for several days, as the couple fought for world peace.

They were inseparable for four years, but the family idyll ended when Lennon noticed another woman at a party in honor of the election of the next American president. Tipsy, John took the guest into the next room and made love to her. Like a true Japanese woman, Yoko did not make scandals for her husband in public, but only asked him to hand over the flower and say that she still loves him.
John spent the next year and a half in Los Angeles, where It allowed him everything he loved so much: alcohol, fun, women. She even picked up her secretary, the pretty Mei Pang, as a lover. Lennon was happy at first: "You are the most understanding woman in the world," he told his wife on the phone.
Loneliness quickly got tired, John wanted to return, but Yoko was adamant. To her husband's pleas, she replied sharply: "You are not ready yet." As Mei Pang later told me, it all ended abruptly. Ono called her and said that she had found a person who would help John quit smoking. So Lennon came home. Reconciliation with his wife ended with the conception of a child, whom both had long despaired of waiting for after several miscarriages. The birth of Sean's son finally put everyone in their place.

Now John was tinkering with the baby, and Yoko was arranging exhibitions and buying up expensive real estate with the money left over from the Beatles ships. Friends often teased Lennon. "You sing about freedom, a world without property, and you live in a six-room apartment with separate rooms for furs and shoes." John himself had long been sick of such a life, but how could he contradict a woman he loved to distraction.
In 1980, the former Beatle would record the last Double Fantasy album in collaboration with Yoko Ono, and a week later he would be shot by a mad fan Mark Champion. In an interview, Lennon's killer will say that he thought John was a god, but at some point he came down to earth and became an ordinary person. "Then it seemed to me that I was going to shoot the picture on the album cover, a two—dimensional celebrity without real feelings," Champ confesses to reporters while already in prison. Former detractors will suddenly begin to sympathize with Yoko and feel sorry for the woman who lost the best man. But It will not even think of grieving.
A week after her husband's death, she will put up for auction his letters and albums, and six months later the media will tell that the eccentric Japanese woman has remarried. However, this marriage will be short-lived.

Domain Purchase Date and Brand Establishment
One of the first signs of a legitimate broker is that the domain purchase date should be aligned with, or even precede, the brand's establishment. In the case of Altiantg.com review, this is exactly what we see. The domain was purchased on 2016-02-07, which is right before the brand was officially established in 2018. This indicates a well-thought-out process for setting up the platform before going live.
It’s important to recognize that when a brand buys its domain ahead of time, it shows careful planning and a commitment to operating under a recognized name. This is not something a fraudulent broker would do, as it requires an upfront investment and attention to detail.
Licensing and Regulation
Another crucial aspect of a legitimate broker is the type of license they hold and the regulatory bodies that oversee their operations. In the case of Altiantg.com reviews, the platform is regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), a well-respected and authoritative body in the financial sector.
The FCA is known for its stringent regulatory standards, and brokers who hold this license must adhere to strict rules regarding transparency, fair treatment of clients, and the security of customer funds. This regulation ensures that the broker operates within a legal framework, protecting users from potential fraud or malpractice.
This is a solid argument for the broker's legitimacy. FCA regulation means that Altiantg.com review is monitored by one of the most respected financial authorities globally, which adds a layer of security and trust. For anyone concerned about the safety of their investments or their rights as a customer, knowing that the platform is regulated by such an authority should provide significant peace of mind.
Trustpilot Reviews and Reputation
When evaluating the legitimacy of an online broker, user feedback plays a crucial role. Altiantg.com review has received a Trustpilot score of 4.4, based on 2,995 reviews, which is an outstanding indicator of its reputation in the market. A score above 4 is considered excellent, especially in the financial industry, where trust is paramount.
Not only is the overall rating high, but the number of reviews is also impressive. Having nearly 3,000 reviews suggests that the broker is widely used and that a large number of customers are willing to share their experiences. This level of feedback indicates that the platform is not only accessible but also engaged with its users, who are confident enough to rate their experiences.
This is a strong argument in favor of the legitimacy of Altiantg.com reviews. Positive user reviews and a high overall rating on Trustpilot are clear indicators that the broker is trusted by its users. The more reviews a platform has, the more reliable its reputation tends to be, and a score of 4.4 with such a high number of reviews is something that stands out in the forex industry.
Conclusion
After thoroughly examining the key aspects of Altiantg.com review, it is clear that this broker operates under solid, trustworthy conditions. The FCA regulation, a well-respected financial authority, guarantees that the platform follows strict guidelines to protect users and ensure fair practices. Additionally, the purchase of the domain before the brand's establishment shows careful planning and commitment to creating a legitimate platform.
The Trustpilot reviews further reinforce the legitimacy of Altiantg.com reviews, with an excellent rating of 4.4 based on nearly 3,000 reviews. This level of customer satisfaction and transparency is a strong indicator that the broker is well-regarded in the trading community.
With these factors combined, it's safe to say that Altiantg.com review can be trusted as a legitimate and reliable broker. If you're considering using this platform, the facts presented make it clear that this broker meets the necessary standards for operating in the financial industry with integrity and professionalism.

Does a purebred crossed with a feral have any advantages temperment or physicality wise? I’m super interested in your breeding history with Pippin and how all his descendants turned out! It seems like all his offspring looked like feral pigeons pretty much but had varying personalities.
Not so much for temperament, as Ferals tend to be very flighty and skittish, but there are definitely advantages in physiological structure (Skeletal and muscular, specifically), in disease resistance, and absolutely in intelligence!

Pippin came to us almost four weeks old on the dot, hungry, but healthy.
Already able to self feed, so he just managed to squeak by and avoid becoming an imprint.

He grew into a gorgeous bird!

Cookie was his first wife.
Friendly, but way more flighty than Pippin!
Sired by

Ferdi (Old Dutch Capuchin)
out of

Miss Money Penny (Show Type Racing Homer)
Penny was very chill and mellow, but Ferdi was incredibly flighty!
Flightiness being a dominant trait, Cookie inherited that from her dad.
A Blue cock like Pippin on an Ash Red hen like Cookie are a sex linked pair.
All ash reds from such a pair are cocks who carry blue, but blue can only show up on the single x inherited by a hen.

Their first successful baby was Pookie, a cock who inherited his Mother's color and his Grandmother's Pattern. (Proving that Pippin Carries Bar)
Out going, bold little guy that ended up with Indica as half of our only recorded Gay couple.

Amiga inherited her Father's looks, but her ODC grandfather's extremely flighty temperament, along with the Flighty trait nearly all Ferals have.
It made for an extremely high strung bird!

Dolly inherited Pippin's color and Money Penny's pattern.
She was an interesting combination of extremely high strung and very curious.

Acer was a cocky boy, bold and out going, but flighty.
He and his clutch mate

Bell
both inherited their Dad's very deep, rich t-pattern.
Bell was the first to be more quiet than flighty.

Pippin also mated to Lucy (Farthing x Luxotica; 5/8 Racing Homer, 1/8 COF, Frillback, and Giant Homer)
Farthing's family line is famous for their sweet, out going, cuddle bug temperament.

They threw me Lulu, who inherited Pippin's color and head shape and a very sweet temper between his and Lucy's.
Amiga paired up with Thistle but none of their attempts were successful.
Dolly mated to

Wess (Wukong x Suki; 1/2 Chinese Owl, 1/8 Classic Old Frill, Racing Homer, Frillback, and Giant Homer)
And they threw

Wally

And Pretzel.
Dolly was a little bitty thing and Wess was a shit dad what ignored his eggs and peeps, so they both ended up with some deprivation related mental health issues that took them a long time to work through.
Wess was retired after this clutch.
Pretzel paired up with

Domino (Classic Old Frill)
and threw

Dici, who is still awaiting his chance to contribute to the program.
If you want a better break down of incorporating Ferals into the program, Alex and Dodger and their descendants are the birds to follow.
But this post is long enough, and I can go into them in their own, if there is any interest.

The Indica Bookshop (and Gallery)
From Jane Asher to Yoko Ono...
The strange little localised (and short-lived) cultural phenomenon called the Indica Bookshop (and Gallery) lives at the axial pivot point of The Beatles Story where Revolver swings and the band's trajectory irrevocably alters.
Painting testimonial pictures....
18 Apr 1963, The Beatles play a BBC radio session at Royal Albert Hall. After the concert Paul meets Jane Asher, and the two start dating.
In late 1963, Jane's brother Peter asks Paul to write a song for his duo Peter and Gordon.
Paul gives them a few unused Lennon/McCartney tunes, includo their massive hit debut single “A World Without Love”.
After a solid string of hits, Asher cashes in some of his success to help realise the Indica Bookshop (and Gallery) with artist John Dunbar and bookseller Barry Miles.
In Nov 1965, the Indica opens its doors, in the same square as The Scotch of St. James (a frequent Beatles hangout).
On 1 Apr 1966, Paul takes John to the Indica Bookshop, where Dunbar presents him with a copy of Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert’s The Psychedelic Experience — the acid-soaked readings of which will, over the next few days, beget “Tomorrow Never Knows”.
Sometime before 13 Apr 1966, Paul writes “Paperback Writer” as a subtle plug for the bookshop.
On 7 Nov 1966, Dunbar invites Lennon to the Indica Gallery for a private preview of the exhibition “Unfinished Paintings” by New York artist Yoko Ono.
On 29 April 1967, Miles co-produces The 14 Hour Technicolor Dream, which Lennon and Dunbar attend.
In Nov 1967, the Indica closes its doors.
What's it all about?!
After that Albert Hall gig in April 1963, Paul and Jane become romantically involved, and by the end of the year Paul is living in a loft at her parents’ house.
Already by that point in The Beatles’ career, in addition to the rapidly accumulating catalog of Beatles hits, John and Paul have been scoring chart success outside The Beatles as songwriters for other artists — namely Billy J Kramer, Cilla Black, The Fourmost, The Applejacks, and The Rolling Stones — the general rule being that any song they deemed substandard for The Beatles was offered to another artist (except for the one they tailored for The Stones, some genuine TLC went into “I Wanna Be Your Man”).
Add now Peter and Gordon, when Jane Asher's older brother Peter approaches Paul about writing a song for his recently signed singing duo.
Luckily for them Paul already had a few in the queue ready to go.
By all accounts, “A World Without Love” was an old Paul song predating The Beatles, gathering dust and never a serious contender because of its opening line, “Please lock me away,” which John thought was a laugh.
Apart from Beatles records, “A World Without Love” was the first Lennon-McCartney song to break the US Top 40, making it all the way to #1 on both sides of the Atlantic.
Peter and Gordon followed it with two more unrealised Lennon/McCartney songs, “Nobody I Know” and “I Don't Want To See You Again”; the Del Shannon composition “Go To Pieces”; and covers of Buddy Holly's “True Love Ways”, Phil Spector's “To Know You Is To Love You”, and Barbara Lewis's “Baby I'm Yours”. In all they scored seven consecutive hits, all substantial.
When Peter was approached about the prospect of opening a joint bookshop-gallery, he agreed to become a silent partner.
The deeper you go...
Peter Asher's business partners in the Indica were his mate John Dunbar, and their associate Barry Miles.
John Dunbar was a visual artist, husband to Marianne Faithful, and occasional companion to The Beatles (especially John and Paul) during these psychedelic years.
Barry Miles was a dedicated bookseller and aficionado of the cultural underground. In helping produce The 14 Hour Technicolor Dream on 29 April 1967, he featured performances by Pink Floyd, Yoko Ono, Arthur Brown, Tomorrow, The Pretty Things, and Soft Machine, among (I'm told) many others.
The Indica Bookshop folded after two short years, but its legendary status is outsized in Beatledom.
And in the end...
Peter Asher, of course, was at the early core of Apple in 1968 — producing the first recordings by up and coming singer-songwriter James Taylor, for whom he resigned his post at Apple to become Taylor's fulltime manager.
Barry Miles continued to surround himself with art, music, and literature, and eventually became Paul's official biographer.
John Dunbar divorced Marianna Faithful in 1970, and otherwise still does his art with an ear to the underground.
Pink Floyd became who they are.
And we know what became of John and Yoko.
