Brow game.... I have very thin and sparse brows that I never had any brow trim all these years... Later I realised brow enhanced and groomed changes your entire look....thanks to the beauty and makeup blogger community...😀 Since I have been loving pencil brow enhancers and the retractable once did their job too well. They were natural and yet gave refined look. My first one from Maybelline to the latest ones had made my brow game evolve. So today..I would review two super duper amazing yet pocket friendly brow pencils. 1. LA Colors Browie Wowie ( 395 Rs) in espresso 2. Etude House drawing eye brow (260 Rs) in dark brown. These retractable triangular pencils with a sturdy plastic outer. Super easy to apply. Not too hard to tug or too soft to break. Both comes with a spoolie end. Just few wipes to set your brows...need not to be a makeup artist. Both are extremely pigmented. Stays well for entire day with out fading. Even in these rains, it hardly washes off. Also removal is not a pain. While other counterparts are little high priced they are best for daily use. You can swipe to see swatches and I have even applied one on each of my brow, so hardly any difference in the two shades. So if you are a brunette like me..these Colors would suit you too. Obviously an harmless composition sans chemicals. I have been using their peel and mask since long and pretty impressed so the new launch was a must try... 1. Anti pollution Day Serum Simple glass bottle dropper packaging. 30 ml for 950. Basically meant to protect, calm and repair against harmful effects of radiation and pollutants. Thick transparent gel which becomes a task to extract with dropper at times. Should have been a pump. Easily spreads and absorbed in damp skin. I usually layer it after my serum. This won't replace any of your routine products like moisturiser, cream or serum but an addition to boost your sunscreen. Of course helps in skin repair as I could feel this in past few days. 2. Cica & Ceramide Repair serum- Again simple glass bottle with pump. 30 ml for 950. Thick white cream which has nice mild fragrance just to fade soon. Is meant basically for skin repair overnight. Actives like squalene, niacinamide, hemp and marula oil not only repairs but helps brightens skin too. Can layer with your night routine Products. Just add gap for absorption. It is again an addition but replacement for any of your night creams or serums. A booster to repair your skin. I am yet to observe its effects but not side effects so far on my combi acne prone skin. Last week, In a rush to reach a social event, used some old lying brushes and sponge for my makeup. Within next 2days, I got punishment for my deed....several pustules and red inflammations on my face. As usual blamed the weather for my condition but later realised that it was those dirty brushes and sponge which gave growing grounds to bacteria. So as we all do...looking for all sorts of SOS treatments. I came across this face pack lying since long in my cart. This is sulphur mask from @drsheths How it looked- Sturdy tub packaging, spatula missing. Seems a clay based mask with some oil content. Black stains on lid, on your fingers shows presence of sulphur. Mild fragrance with hints of weird smell like that of iron oxide (rust). Although complete ingredient list is missing but website tells about active ingredients like sulphur, allantoin, cinnamon extracts, niacinamide, passion fruit oil for eliminating infections but moisturising too. It reached me within 2 days and I applied this in morning and even left it twice overnight as spot treatment. I was actually surprised to see the results. redness reduced and pimple started drying. Since then I am using this once every week and it never disappoints. My observations- * Works well on all types of acne and pimples. Helps in removing inflammation and drying if active pustules. * No side effects * No drying or stretchiness * Cleans and brightens skin immediately. *No hassles in application or removal. Colored eye liner/kajals Are you also the one who loves highlighting eyes...that something simple, easy and yet trendy. So that you can create the look within few min for your office. I usually rely on colored liners, kajals and khols. When you get the same to fit in your pocket. I bought few liners cum kajals by @bellavoste recently from @letspurplle Got 3 colors- * Bella Voste gel eyeliner in fossil grey. * Bella Voste intense eye liner and Kajal in rose wine and grand rapid. The colors and pigment is really good. No tugging required. No smudging or fading for 12 hours. But- Gel liner is sharpening one and also quite prone to drying. The pencil cap is also not having locking mechanism so opens up leading to fast drying of pencil. It's been hardly 15 days and I can notice drying. Otherwise it's too soft that it breaks often. You can notice this my swatches. It took two swatches for proper view. While intense eyeliner are retractable with proper cap and locking and still no drying. The colors- grey, wine are having mild metallic sheen looks great on eyes. It's been awhile I am testing #sugarcosmetics liquid matte lipsticks. If you are following me, you might have got snip snap of these lippies. So here's the full review... 1. Awesome colors 2. Amazing pigmentation and coverage 3. 💯 percent non smudge matte. 4. Staying is too good. At the end of the day, it takes a deliberate effort to remove 5. It waterproof so you need proper cleanser to remove while need not bother for touchups after meals. The only Cons..it's drying. Which again varies shade to shade. I found hot Apricot most while Toast Roast least drying. Moreover I have dry lips so it's probably drier for me. Rest...it's a great work wear and event wear where you wanna long stay free of touchups with nice pigmentation. My first purchases with #Tvakh was a n experiment since their products were all with an innovative concept and they were organic. I got few samples along which had this #daycream too with #nightcream and ##massagegel in decent sizes. Initially i was little hesitant for the day cream since it was mentioned for dry skin. But as Winters approached I started developing dry patches so decided to give it a try. This is a little runny cream with skin tint. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it suited me well. It not only moisturised my skin but hid minor blemishes and marks and gave me finished look with a natural glow. Best part - no breakouts.😚. I would highly recommend this to people with normal to dry skin and also to people who had sensitive or acne prone skin and if you have oily skin but get dry patches in Winters...thus is for you.
