It was 20 years ago today when I posted these images of the amazing Kid Leopard torturing Cliff Conlin in a prolonged Indian Deathlock. I was really into leglocks at the time. Check out that old gallery if you want to see more images of this particular submission hold.
I actually have this video in my archives. (It's a great match -- Conlin makes the Boss suffer quite a bit, which really gets to me because Kid Leopard is usually 100% dominant!)
So I decided to rewatch this vintage wrestleporn to create some Animated GIFs that depict Leopard's thrusting and grinding motions and Conlin's dramatic selling.

These early BG East videos, when the Boss still put on the trunks and boots, were just so hot -- so realistic, not all silly and playful (as we're seeing in some recent Underground Wrestling content.) Kid Leopard was just so sadistic and merciless once he gained control, and he took the authentic portrayal of classic pro wrestling very seriously.

Oh Mr. Leopard - when you plant your boot on his chest to press his body flat, I just lose it. I believe this was the only BG East match that Conlin ever filmed. I suppose this Deathlock by Kid Leopard was just too much for him.

Folio from a Aja'ib al-Makhlugat wa Ghara'ib al-Mawjudat (The Wonders of Creation and the Oddities of Existence)
Probably Deccan, India, Mughal period, 17th c.
Ink, opaque watercolor, gold on paper
On display at Metropolitan Museum of Art (1975.192.8)
“This folio is from a manuscript describing real and fantastical creatures. At the top of the page, a leopard is depicted with white and brown dotted fur, running on a background of golden leaves, floral sprays and clouds. At bottom right there is a depiction of a roe deer (or stag) identified by the term ‘yamur’ which emphasized in the text at line 7. This creature's pink spotted coat and blue horns and hooves are a somewhat imaginative depiction of the animal, which may have never actually been seen by the artist who created the painting.”

What is it? If you guessed a little Indian grey mongoose pup, you're right! Bold and inquisitive, the little forest predators were once known for staged battles with cobras to entertain tourists, but in the wild the two species avoid each other. Its prey includes rodents, snakes, eggs, lizards and a variety of invertebrates. Staff photographer Akash took this photo near our Manikdoh Leopard Rescue Centre. Who knew mongoose pups were so cute?!

It was one early morning, where sun was just rising…a leopardess came out of a cave with her little cub to bask in the morning sun. That moment where the leopardess and her cub came to the shimmering golden light of morning sun felt so magical!!

The International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) officially became a treaty-based intergovernmental organization on 23rd January 2025, with its headquarters in India. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2023 during the 50th anniversary of Project Tiger, IBCA was formally approved in February 2024.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐈𝐁𝐂𝐀?
IBCA, implemented through the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) under the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC), serves as a global platform for conservation efforts. It supports the seven major big cat species—Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Cheetah, Jaguar, and Puma.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐁𝐂𝐀 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬?
Big cats face habitat loss, poaching, climate change, and human-wildlife conflict. IBCA aims to reverse population decline by fostering global collaboration in conservation, funding initiatives, and sharing technical expertise.
