And ho boy, are you gonna LOVE RRR. Because this movie has got ALL of that and then some more. It's an epic, it's a war movie, it's a love story, it's highly symbolical, it's going to take your heart and rip it into two. And you will thank it for that.

Another snippet

Inspired by an incorrect quote I can't seem to find to credit now. I'm pretty sure there were at least two different versions of food, and I'm guessing on what they consist of in the brackets. Correction/guidance welcome!

Set during the escape home in the movie's epilogue. Crack treated seriously, as I suspect it's conversations like this that took up their time in Dosti.

“No.”

Bheem turns. “No?”

“No,” Ram says, scooping up his own meal and coming to sit with everyone. “Leaving aside the horror of suddenly-sentient food and ignoring questions like ‘where’s your mouth’ and ‘doesn’t it hurt’ and ‘can you taste yourself,’ you would not wake up as [salty/spicy food], anyway, even if it was a last-thing-you-ate kind of thing.” Settling in, he takes a bite from his plate and tries to ignore the staring.

“What would he be, then?” Malli asks as he swallows.

Ram hesitates, his eyes drifting to study his friend’s face as his tongue picks at something between his teeth, stalling. “A dessert, probably. [something sweet/tangy].” He thinks a moment longer, then nods. “You’d lick off your icing* and nibble the occasional crumb, but you’re not selfish enough to eat yourself when you could give others joy in eating you instead.”

Laughter erupts, the two men ducking to hide their sudden raging blushes at how Ram’s words could be interpreted. As it dies down, Bheem catches Ram’s eye and sends him a small smile. It bolsters Ram’s confidence enough to turn the conversation. “What kind of food would you be, Malli?”

i watched RRR yesterday and i wanted to thank you for bringing this movie to my attention because holy shit man you weren't kidding about those men!!! yeah okay they didn't kiss but honestly did they even need to?????? because that was some pure 100% unadulterated soulmate stuff right there. that tension, that angst, that eye fucking. quality homoerotic stuff right there. put that stuff into my veins
