Intermission - 9 Lives

thinking about how idyllic the village of Alderhill is portrayed as in both Cillian and the Ronans' eyes. For the Ronans its the antithesis to a place that was never their home and they couldn't wait to escape. The Village is a spot they would vacation to in the summers of their youth. For all appearances, it's just a nice, quiet getaway from everything that ever troubled them (except themselves). Blissfully unaware of its real history and their grandmother's direct involvement with it.

To Cillian, it's something others have told him is (in the post-war social landscape at least) a bit of a taboo, dangerous place that he instead finds charming and harmless once he sees it for himself. The faction that made it so harrowing for the Hill-folk dissipated, and along with it, well known contempt for his kind. It's a little piece of rebellion he holds dear, and now that he's cut off from it for the time being, the grass on the other side only looks greener. But really, the main draw is the potential companions he could harvest from its grounds. It's a place of possibility.

In reality it's just another place. A peaceful one in present, a tapestry of people and their stories, lives, daily hustle and bustle. I'm sure you could find parts of it that are truly rotten if you dug deep enough, but the rose tinted glasses stay on for now.

Maybe controversial but I wish intermission grief was a about Kits desth and how it impacted them

Definitely not controversial; I don't really fault the book for having Cordelia grieve Matthew and James disappearing more then Christopher dying, bc she was really close with James (obviously) and Matthew and she didn't really know Christopher, like at all. He was just vaguely more known to her then a stranger.

I wish the Intermission had gone differently tho, even if we gave Cordelia the grief of only James and Matthew, I wish other people (mainly Thomas) had gotten a POV section. I think it would have been better if every character had their own section of the Intermission where they talk about how everything that has happened was effecting them personally.

Next gen/Future Act characters will probably be Mayday Parker, Quida's grandchild, the main 4 HS characters (possibly also the trolls), the main JJK cast, and possibly some of Neon J's grand niblings (possibly Yinu, Peni, Carna, and Maragold as well). Also perhaps Aria's child as well.

Oh! Maybe Billie will also be a part of the cast as well! She'd be probably around 8-9 after the timeskip.

More will probably be added, but for now this is the basics of who is going to be focused on in the next act, whenever I get to making it (still need to think of the plot for that act and how long the timeframe is, since like the Past Act is a few decades of content while the Revolutions Act is only at most a few years).
