BEHOLD- another little guy for the nextgen world! Meet Lucas, Vee and Mashaâs human foster kid!! Heâs very sweet but also very shy and tends to keep to himself, but heâs really happy to be with Veesha and be in the demon realm which, in his words, is âtotally cool.â And of course he meets Bramble when he starts working at the restaurant, and well. :3c
I think that for a long time Luz, Gus and King have been working closely but on the low with the govt in the human realm to make exchange programs and crossrealm relationships a thing, so Lucas is the first crossrealm foster care situation and veesha is perfect for his case !!
(Also since brambleâs design was lowkey based off of Kevin from Steven Universe as I was designing Lucas I was like. Hey. Wouldnât it be funny if.)

dedicated to : ă @yuomizuu, from your stellaronhvnter secret santa :3c when i saw kazuha on your list, i jumped for joy; heâs one of my top genshin characters & im so happy to have an excuse to write for him! // playlist i was listening to while writing // art by @.mayu_mey on twt
In one universe, Kazuha bumps into you on the street.Â
Bundles of scrolls and parchment spill from your arms, delicate writing muddied with dirt as the commotion on the street barely comes to a halt. Onlookers scowl and grumble, moving past without a second thought as you scramble to collect your things from the footpath, movements hastened by the spear-tips aiming your way.Â
Cape a deep crimson with delicate fur trim, the Kaedehara family crest is embroidered on the back in gold thread. Kazuha always thought it was unnecessary to flaunt his status, preferring respect of the family name over awe of his wealth. But being a gift from a dear friend, he wears it more often than not. In cases like these, he wishes he hadnât. Your eyes catch the glint of his garments, and you freeze, petrified. Â
Lowering to a crouch, Kazuha waves away his guards with dimmissive hand, gloved hands working to collect fallen sheets.Â
âAre you alright?â he asks, voice kind and with a smile. He holds out a scroll for you to take back. Your fingers brush his.Â
âYesâŚâ you mutter back, somewhat sheepish. You quickly rise to your feet and offer him a bow. âMy apologies, Your Highness.âÂ
âNo need for it.âÂ
He offers to walk you to your destination. You decline. He insists. The two of you both make it to the library in quick succession, the others on the road making way the minute the red of his cape is seen.Â
âThis is quite unnecessary, Your Highness.â Kazuha looks over at you. You smile when he meets your eyes. âIt was I who bumped into you. There was no need to escort me back.â
âAh, but I wanted to.âÂ
Itâs when youâre inside, the door closed behind you, that Kazuha stops to stare at where youâd once stood. His cheeks are rosy with warmth. Â
âAre you alright, Your Highness?â one of the guards prods, hesitant. âYou seem a bit⌠flushed.âÂ
âIâm more than alright.âÂ
The kingdom falls before he can see you again.Â
Flames engulf houses and shops; fire starved and ravenous, it becomes a glutton as it licks up the side of the library. His horse whinnies and backs away when the heat gets to be too much, but Kazuha canât seem to pull himself away from the sight. He needs to leave. He needs to leave. Run. Run. Run. Runâ
Some part of him hopes you made it out unscathed, heart heavy as the shouts of enemy troops chase after him. You wouldâve liked the palace archives, he thinks, salt trailing down ash-stained cheeks as the ruins disappear in the distance.Â
â
In one universe, youâve just moved from the city to the countryside.Â
As your new neighbour, Kazuha took it upon himself to welcome you. The rest of the area had heard about your reasonings: a relative of yours who owned the house youâd be staying in has fallen ill. Youâre here to keep things in order while they receive treatment.Â
Basket full of fresh fruit from his own farm, he stands outside your door with a nervous frown. His heart beats erratically in his chest, pulse ricocheting off the bones of his ribs. Itâs never like him to be so jittery when greeting others. Readjusting his grip, Kazuha sucks in a breath and knocks.Â
You shout back, âJust a sec!âÂ
Thereâs a brief moment where Kazuha debates leaving, dropping the basket and running. He digs his heels into the ground. The door opens with a click. You smile andâÂ
Oh.Â
Heâs been here before, hasn't he?Â
Cheeks turning a soft pink, he grins back, holding out the basket.Â
âA little welcome gift,â he says, âfrom your new neighbour.âÂ
You take the basket from him; your fingers donât touch his. Is it weird that he wishes they did? Kazuha comes back the next day, handing you a bunch of mail and a package. You invite him to stay this time.Â
Kazuha swears heâs seen you before, that you moving wasnât a coincidence judging by the butterflies that eat at his stomach lining. Whatever it is, you donât remember him like how he thinks of you.Â
You return to the city months later, leaving the confession on the tip of his tongue.Â
â
In one universe, you are the wind that greets him every morning.Â
The hospital room is stuffy, void of colour except for the stack of Get well soon!â cards and deflating balloons shoved by his bedside. He misses the farm, he decides, the vast openness of the trees and fields. The smell of medicine had stung his nose at first; now itâs barely there. Kazuha stares out at the sunrise, smiling to himself when a familiar breeze slips through the crack of his window. Bathed in gold with the sun speckled in his hair, he strains an arm and grasps onto a well-loved notepad and pen.Â
âOne day,â he murmurs, voice airy as he jots down the date, âIâll be out there too.âÂ
â
In one universe, youâre a birdhouse and heâs the bird.Â
The seeds are kept well stocked; the shelter you provide is always dry. You both get swept away in a windstorm.Â
â
In one universe, he is a star.Â
Rubble and debris from what were once towering builds block any type of path you may have been able to venture. Despite the lack of them, the stench of walking death still permeates the air. Â
âShouldnât have taken that shortcut,â you mumble, grunting when your foot catches on another root.Â
The trees grow thicker and you swear youâve passed this part of the woods already. You grumble a string of profanities, plopping down to the forest floor and leaning against the bark. You look up.Â
âYouâre here at least.â The words are soft, much too gentle for the atmosphere. Kazuha doesnât respond. Canât respond. âYouâd scold me for scavenging this late. I know it.âÂ
The star grows brighter, as if laughing.Â
âÂ
In one universe, Kazuhaâs flesh can be tasted on your tongue.Â
Tied up in the corner, your arms pinned behind your back, he sits about two metres away in front of you on a broken crate. The gun lays loaded in his lap. Eyes closed with his head down, fingers resting on the cool metal, Kazuhaâs lips stretch into a thin line.Â
âItâs not right,â he mutters, mainly to himself as you thrash in the corner, desperate to reach him. âItâs not my right to rob you of life.âÂ
You snarl in response. Eyes bloodshot and crazed, he wonders if you can still understand him. Would you plead for him to shoot you? Would you beg to be spared? Could he bear to do either? Heâs going to be sick.Â
âItâs not right,â he repeats, shaky hands curling in his lap. âItâs you and me. We havenât come all this way just to end.âÂ
The world has taken enough from him. Kazuha refuses to let it take you too; not without him. Â
He stands in front of you. The gun lays off to the side.Â
Somewhere in the back of his mind, a voice screams at him not to fold. They wouldnât want this, it wails, clawing at the walls of his skull. Another tells him, Do it. And so Kazuha undoes your binds, kisses you, smiles tearfully when your nails claw into his skin. Blood runs down his back, stains his tattered clothing. He hugs you. Your jaws clamp down on the junction of his neck and shoulder. His nose brushes against your jaw.Â
âItâs ok,â he whispers to ears that cannot hear reason, hold tightening, âweâll be ok.âÂ
â
In one universe, you two never meet. Not face-to-face at least.Â
Kazuha smiles at the camera, holding up a peace-sign, before the view switches to another member on stage. The clip goes viral very shortly after its creation. You come across it one day.Â
âAn idol, huhâŚâ you mutter.Â
 You scroll away.Â
âÂ
In one universe, heâs stuck behind a screen, a watcher to your world as you go through the motions of life.Â
Fate isnât his, but he canât seem to mind. When his splash art first coloured your screen, when he first witnessed that giddy look in your eyes, Kazuha knew he was smitten.Â
Even if you ult at the wrong times, run out of stamina in the middle of climbing, skip dialogue, Kazuha is there beside you. For every beginning, end, every plotline in between, heâs a staple of your team.Â
One day, you stop logging in. It was gradual at first; daily tasks, some resin here and there, youâd skip a day then come back the next. A day turned into two. Then three. A week. A month. Kazuha still waits. Itâs funny how his world comes to a standstill when you do. He hopes youâre doing well.Â
â
In one universe, he is a leaf and you are a river cutting through the forest.Â
He drowns in your embrace, waterlogged and swept away as you carry him down stream. If he had a conscience, Kazuha would do it again.Â
â
In this universe, itâs finally Kazuha and you. (There is no need to say he loves you when his name is already beside yours.)
Kazuha watches as you pack up your things. He stands from his spot next to you, bag slung over his shoulder as he waits. Other students are already leaving the lecture hall, milling about as he admires you from this short distance.Â
In this universe, itâs been Kazuha and you since birth. Friends since forever, it surprised no one when both of you confessed. It would be nice if every universe were like this.Â
âYouâre staring.âÂ
He blinks, hand finding yours automatically. You squeeze back.Â
âItâs hard not to when you look like that,â he teases back.Â
âCâmon, the winter festival is starting soon.â You roll your eyes.Â
Foot catching on the chair, Kazuha steadies you before your books can fall out of your hands, giggling when youâre quick to apologize.Â
âI had a weird dream last night,â he blurts out once youâre back to standing.Â
âAbout me falling?âÂ
âMore than that.â He traces your skin with his thumb, lost in thought before speaking again. âIâll walk you back to your dorm. Drop off your stuff and all.âÂ
âNah, I can just meet up with you.âÂ
Would it be nice if every universe were like this? Thatâs silly, he thinks with a smile. No world could make me love you less.Â
âI insist.âÂ
notes : ăinspired by multiverse concepts, including âeverything, everywhere, all at once,â arcane, the "do you think we're together in every universe?" trend, and this one poem i read that i canât remember. this ended up being shorter than i thought it would be, but there are a lot of parallels between scenes and such so i hope those were caught! apologies if the prose doesn't flow too well TwT

how to build a chair........... director's cut â ( á ăâ )__ this is about to be a very long very self-indulgent post where i just talk about my own writing. i also doodled on all the pages i think it makes the whole thing more fun to go thru. welcome to my ted talk
SIKE before i begin. credit where credit is due, this post was the start of it all. it changed my brain chemistry my jaw was dropped i was in awe i was obsessed and before i even finished it i knew that i would eventually have to make something similar for the commander or else i would be cursed to think about it for the rest of my life. and i Was cursed for like two years every day i would just be like........ is today the day i sit down and draft the commander chair fic of my dreams....... maybe tomorrow......
and then i got accepted as a writer for the gw2 zine á( á )á the chair idea was actually my backup option in case my first idea didn't pan out, and thank god it didn't, bc this one worked so much better. (still working on my initial idea, just turning it into a full fic! it was wayyy too long to be a zine submission.)
this is the chair i used. i downloaded the assembly instructions and tried out a bunch of different free pdf editors until i found one i liked, which ended up being sedja. if anyone's interested in doing something like this, i recommend printing out the pdf and writing directly on it! it was a lot easier for me to just figure out everything on paper first and then digitalize it after :P here's a picture of my physical copy
okay actually getting into it for real this time !!!!!
1. yeah i could've just erased the ikea logo and left a blank space but then i realized i could turn it into an in-universe joke. and then i ran with it.
2. i ripped this straight from the product description on the website. thanks ikea
3. i'm not sure if anyone went and looked it up, but it's a real item code!
hehe :3c
4. if your commander willingly goes to therapy i'm happy for them but TO ME? you'd have to drag the commander kicking and screaming. it's not that they don't know that something is wrong with them, they know, and they know YOU know. you're just never supposed to talk about it. they don't look at their own psych eval results bc that's none of their business.
5. i normally avoid specifying the commander's race when i write them bc i enjoy the challenge, but for the zine i was assigned to write about a norn commander! as a human main i was uhhhh very ill-equipped. but that just meant i had to study up on my norn lore (â˘Ěá´â˘Ě)Ů i spent hours on the wiki, then went around interviewing norn mains for their opinions, which was great fun :D it all helped me narrow the focus of my piece: joining the war on commander objectification on the side of commander objectification (ă
´ Ë `)⥠and no one self-aggrandizes quite like the norn commander!
and to balance that i knew my narrator had to be patronizing as shitttt. they've clearly been following the commander since the beginning and seem to know a lot of intimate details about their life, despite not thinking very highly of them. wonder who that could be :3c
6. i can't stop making references. so the original part number is actually #122620 in the manual but i've changed it here (and on the previous page!) to #082812, as in 08/28/12, the date gw2 was released! no real reason for it, @dalennaugw suggested it for funsies and i liked it. if you're my pal and i show you a wip and you have a cool idea for it, chances are i Will put that shit in. hi dale if you're reading this
7. another thing about me. i loveeee repetition. here the word "over" is repeated four times to match the picture. honestly a lot of the creative process for this piece was just staring at the pages and figuring out how to tie the pictures to the commander in ways that weren't extremely corny or trite. idk why i enjoy writing like this when i could be frolicking in the beautiful prosaic meadows of a word doc instead but. it's like i see a tiny little restrictive box and i'm like OH BOY can't wait to think inside of that thing!!! i like when the format matters just as much as the content and in some cases informs the content. am i making any sense here. well all you need to know is that i'm a virgo and my favorite book is house of leaves
7. aw fuck just realized i wrote 7 twice. whatever i'm not changing it this is 7 part two now. the theme of my piece is glory, what it means to the norn commander, and how far they're willing to go for it.
8. does norn culture place emphasis on seeking individual glory Yes are norn also very community-oriented Also Yes. i think it's common to see norn kids napping together in a big pile, usually after they've worn themselves out playing games outside. it makes sense practically (apes together warm) and socially (pack bonding good) but that's just my hc. growing up i used to share a bed with my cousins all the time so it's normal to me.
a young, naive not-yet-commander, with no real combat experience, has no point of reference to compare a "blaze of glory" to. but the way everyone talks about it, it must be a good thing. a wonderful thing. a reward fit for a life well-fought and a legend hard-earned. so they imagine it must feel like falling asleep surrounded by the people they love, who love them in turn.
9. .........i was playing a lot of ace attorney when i wrote this page. i wish i was joking đđź
10. ohhh shit the truth come OUT this whole chair thing was all a ploy just so i could write about the departing. again.
will i ever stop thinking about her. reply hazy, try again later.
11. out of all the pages, this one has the most emphasis on text placement, like comparing the enlarged picture of the screw to a sword, the numbers counting the screws, and "up up up" being arranged to mimic a wisp of smoke.
i also wanted to lean into the viking/norse mythology influences with my word choice.
12. more nods to norn culture. i didn't know they referred to the six human gods as "spirits of action" until i was doing the research for this piece :O
and the domain of the lost is called a hall of ghosts....... cause valhalla.....
13.
i'm sorry this so funnyyy. SAYS the guy who literally clawed their way back to life for a rematch.
me when i'm in a sore loser competition and my opponent is the COMMANDER!!!
14. arms as in "limbs" and also arms as in "armaments" :â˘]
15. haha get it because the picture makes it look like there are two mirrored speech bubbles while the text paints two opposing interpretations of the norn commander. one that's selfless and humble versus one that's selfish and vainglorious.
16. and the best part is IT DOESN'T MATTER which one is true bc at the end of the day no matter what their motivation, balthazar is dead by their hand. ofc i'm of the opinion that the most compelling interpretation of the commander is both, simultaneously. contradictions are good for the soul.
17. i could've name-dropped kas, the only person present that would do something like that, but i felt it was better to leave it ambiguous.
18. low-hanging fruit. the metaphor was so obvious here but i had to do it. for the culture
19. the alternate title for this piece was "THIS COULD BE GLORY". "how to build a chair" was only supposed to be a placeholder title til i figured out a better one, but the innocuousness of it grew on me. also i came up with the other one too late and had already advertised under the chair title lol
20. my first instinct was to end it with something more reassuring, like "what you have built so far is enough" but that would've been an ooc switch-up for a narrator who has been nothing but snide and detached this whole time. gotta stick to my guns
21.
obligatory chair joke as the last line. for realsies though itâs meant to be an earnest appeal to the commander to take a break, to have a seat, but itâs also a challenge. are they willing to lean on their friends? are the bonds theyâve forged strong enough to hold their weight? are they willing to put their faith in someone elseâs hands? are they brave enough to try? well. only one way to find out.
also guess what that wasnât even the real last page of the manual. it's THIS
but no way i was letting this be the image we ended on. IT LOOKS LIKE A DICK AND BALLS!!!
and on that note, THANK YOU if you made it this far!! a very special shout-out to @hawkepockets, my lovely boyfriend and beta reader, without whom this piece would not be nearly as polished. i would bring him pages to look over and he would say Scrap half of those lines you can do better than that. kill your darlings. i would complain and argue for a few minutes then we would revise. rinse and repeat until we had honed this thing to perfection. i can't stress enough the importance of having a second pair of eyes on your work throughout your creative process, even better if it's someone who challenges you. i don't even pay him đŤśđź
and if there was anything i didn't cover that you still have questions about, please feel free to shoot me an ask! (ă
´ Ë `)⥠thanks for reading! see u later dudes ;P
#gw2#guild wars 2#my writing#for once i have nothing to say in the tags bc i already talked so much in the body of the post.#ummmmmmmm meows cutely !

RARE PAIR WEEK DAY 3: "...and they were roommates!"
Normal Fantasy Dude Tucker x Divine Donut for the alt universe prompt :3c
Writing for the au below the cut!
Lavernius Tucker was not entirely sure how he got here, but he couldnât be mad about it. He wasnât a pious man. He wasnât exactly the most devout follower of the gods. Honestly, he suspected the only reason he was allowed into the temples, into the inner chambers, was because of the sword he carried. Just his luck he found the damn thing, right? Right. Luck.
âTucker? Is everything okay?â The Oracle asks, and Tucker grins. He may not be a religious man, but he is a damn lucky one. Evidence? Right here- the Oracle himself, divine figure of fate and fortune, the one who strikes true and sees through time itself. One of the fucking gods.
âIâm good, Donut,â Tucker answers, because fuck yeah he was on a casual name basis with a fucking god. Then he leans in, and presses a warm kiss to the side of Donutâs mouth, because he was also the godâs lover. Suck on that, everyone who said heâd never amount to anything.Â
âYou sure? If we need to stop-â Donut fusses, because thatâs what he does. Over ten feet of pure divine power, and he worries like a sheepdog over kittens.
âI know our watchword, Donut,â Tucker says, stealing another kiss. Donutâs hands are warm around him, and theyâre not really doing much (this time, at this moment, at least) but the gentle brush of Donutâs fingers against Tuckerâs hair make it really hard to focus on anything except relaxing into that touch. Donut hums with a pout on his lips and Tucker shifts his weight so heâs kneeling as he leans up to wrap an arm around the back of Donutâs neck. If he asked, Tucker had the excuse of playing with the long hair that floated around Donut like a halo. But it turns out, the god of fate and fortune had a hard time reading people. All of time and space? Sure, no biggie, like reciting a story youâve heard your entire life. But people? Their expressions, their body language? Donut was utterly blind to it. It was endearing, in a very strange surreal way. It made him soâŚwell. Human. Tucker runs his fingers through the thick locks of Donutâs hair, watching the small motion ripple out to the ends where it faded to soft gold.Â
âI was just thinkinâ, ya know? About how lucky I am,â Tucker grins wider, and Donut looked some awkward mix between curious and embarrassed. He thought he was sooo subtle. âLucky to survive some of the shit Iâve seen, lucky to find this sword, lucky to be assigned to your templesâŚâÂ
Tucker pauses and lets his other hand slide down Donutâs shoulder, over the soft silk-like fabric of his tunic. Donutâs good eye, the one that witnesses the present world around him, follows the motion as best it can. When he canât watch Tuckerâs hand, Donut turns his attention to watching his face.
âRightâŚlucky,â Donut repeats, and Tucker loves watching the blush creep up into the godâs pointed ears. He just makes it so easy!
âMhm,â Tucker is leaning in again, Donut watching him intently, but he isnât done talking just yet. âIf I didnât know better, Iâd think someone with some strings to pull was watching out for me. Nudging things to go just so, yeah? Making sure Iâd end up in the right place, at the right time,â
âWould it bother you? If that were the case? Cau-cause Iâm sure if it was- and Iâm not saying that it is- Iâm sure he-I-theyâd only have your best interests at heart. But if you wanted them-him-them to stop-â Donut stumbles over his words, and Tucker lets him, for a beat, before he laughs.
âI donât mind. I like having luck on my side, after all. Best kind of company there is, from what I heard. Besides, Luck is pretty damn cute, especially when he gets all flustered,â
âI- you- Tucker!â
Lavernius Tucker was not a devout or pious man. He was, however, a damn lucky one.

Fragments - episodes 36-40 author notes
You can find similar breakdown posts on older episodes in my pinned!
I didnât need to spend so much screentime on Titania fight, yet it was a fun personal challenge. Iâd never written/drawn a cohesive fight scene before. The scripted ingame instances donât leave much room for imagination, I wanted to stay away from the fourth wall, and make up a more immersive scene. How do you even make it look mildly interesting? Youâd think, well, characters will just flail at each other until one of them dies, right?
So yeah the biggest challenge was creating the ebb and flow. What affects Viviâs actions? Why wouldnât he just murder Titania like any other opponent, and be done with it? I threw in a generous amount of inner pov (that I previously used very sparingly) and some silly tricks. The stakes are high, yes, itâs a Lightwarden vs WoD encounter, but Titania still retains their playful personality above all else. Vivi's here just to do his job, but he also knows that he's dealing with a fae.
The msq makes Titania stand out among other wardens, I capitalized on that and hcâd that theyâre important to Feo Ul, and, by proxy, to Vivi. That instantly provided some emotional stakes, and an answer to why he doesnât rush to kill them out of the door.
Vivi enters the castle in episode 35, and mostly runs in circles, analyzing his enemy, and even falls victim to illusions. This couldâve been it for him, but I daresay it worried none of us because weâre just at the beginning of a story about this guy, heâs THE guy in this universe not for no reason, heâll manage.
No deep meaning behind "grasshopper", I just thought it's a bizarrely precise descriptor of both Vivi's long legs and dragoon jumps, and it fits the natural theme of the fight.
Vivi didnât go in unprepared.
This line will be relevant again in like, 5-7 years from now :â>
More under the cut~
He always, always doubts everything, especially when it comes to his level of power. Self-nerfing. A light (heh) case of an impostor syndrome.
Everyone loved the bonk for meme reasons, Vivi simply bought himself some time to cast.
The Rainbow Sparkles of Believing in Yourself! And of something else, perhaps. Iâm planting quite a bit of stuff for future, this one should take a mere year or so to pay off.
I hope this poseâs enough of a hint that you shouldn't be taking episode 37 too seriously.
Yes, he used his spear to ~cast~. And took a sailormoon pose. This's his, monoclass dragoonâs, interpretation of what the caster magicâs probably like.
Offscreen, Titania comes to their senses and shrills âso you wanna play rough?!â, Vivi ignores them, concerned with only one thing: did he succeed? How did the test of his custom spell go?
It only worked out because the both of them are idiots.
I like to emphasize that Fragments isnât about retelling the msq, or big epic battles, but here, where I actually put my heart into it, I feel like I managed to pull off at least one epic beat youâd typically see in an action-focused comic. Super proud of this panel ;w;
Thisâs a standard panel divider Iâve used multiple times before, but it couldnât be more visually appropriate here :3c
So, to recap. Vivi asks Titania if they miss the night sky. They do. Vivi brings the night sky to them, and lo, something actually happens. I illustrated this âsomethingâ as one of their eyes getting sort of cleansed here. This story suddenly takes a mahou shoujo (shounen, heh) turn, I appreciate that it may cause some eyebrows to raise, but I think itâs okay to take creative liberties like this in a story themed around identity, agency, and believing in yourself. If Titaniaâs so strong as to retain a tiny bit of their old self, to cohesively partake in a simple convo, then why canât they return, even if for a brief moment, given the proper assistance.
An appropriate reaction to the wild bs thatâs going on. Imagine inventing the tale of WoD in the First, only to witness THIS.
As about Vivi, he can save a soul when he genuinely cares for it. We havenât seen him do this before. He does it for Feo Ul explicitly, implicitly as a self-reflection. Heâs projecting so hard after realizing that Titania looks like him. He wishes for them what he'd wish for himself: to rest, to be treated with care and consideration. They don't only look like him, they're also unfree, tortured by something. Empathy or not, thisâs the kindest fight Viviâs ever fought.
Iâm iffy about the canon talents that come with the Echo. You can understand any sentient creature, okay. What happens when you speak, does the other party feel the difference between that soulspeak and their native tongue? Does it feel off? Does it offend? I incorporated my own misgivings into Viviâs thoughts about his Echo. He doesn't use soulspeak here out of respect and concern that Titania might not react well to it, throwing the entire plan out of the window. Thus he memorized quite a bit of fae words before the fight. Thisâs his way to mark himself as one of their people, or at least to show that he truly cares.
STAY TUNED FOR EPISODE 41
Vivien Doubter Rell. Also yay first nod!
Embracing his new duty, and possibly giving Titania the hug they deserve.
Look HEâS OKAY. For now. I just thought the hiccup would be a cute way to acknowledge the terrible power heâs just absorbed. The canon cutscene moves on unblinking, but hereâs different.
Bracing himself for confrontation. Things might go awry. Or might not. Vivi doesn't know. Worst case scenario: thisâs the end of his sweet lil friendship with Feo Ul. Do they like him, or a Titania-lookalike in him?
âOh bugger...â big pets come with big responsibilities, my dear Feo Ul.
Just to reinforce his fae-ness.
Vivi had full control in this fight. Analyzed the enemy, successfully tested some crazy tricks, managed to have a heart-to-heart that resulted in getting a permission to kill Titania not with violence, but with mercy. So much couldâve gone wrong, but just didnât. Viviâs used to this, even if he constantly doubts everything, thisâs how it always goes. Heâs being flung at tasks with abysmal odds, somehow he emerges victorious.
I just like this panel so much okay.
This arc may feel slow, but it gives depth to Vivi and Feo Ul's relationship, and seeing them together in later episodes will spark even more joy.
Even after a warm moment theyâd just shared, Viviâs still wary. I broke out an analysis of what external influence, pressure to change means to him, please read this post if you missed it. YEAH TAGS AS WELL.
His expression here is an attempt to downplay the anxiety and swing the odds in his favor. What if Feo Ul insists and throws a tantrum? What if he has to become Titania right now, and thereâs no way around this? Letâs make puppy eyes just incase, maybe that helps.
One more personal fav panel. Thereâs SO MUCH in this look. Theyâre on a threshold, about to become something else on Viviâs behalf. Because they love him so much. Theyâve instantly become friends because they donât want anything from each other, just the company. Feo Ulâs such a breath of fresh air for Vivi, a new hope in a new world, where heâs (comparatively) a nobody, where people still have the potential to love him for who he is as a person. Thisâs why our crimson pixie gets so much screentime.
Vivi really said XD
The next few episodes wrap up the Il Mheg arc, and focus on good vibes and celebration. ShB follows a rollercoaster formula where it makes you smile at something nice and sweet only to whack you in the face right after, and Iâm trying to do the same :3c
As always, thanks for reading~

Spooky month means spooky ideas and spooky ideas ??? Lead to AU's!! >:-D i was dwelling on it for a few months and wasn't really sure on how i wanted to create this up?? But nonetheless i managed :-]
"Vampyres of the Old Faith" is an AU centered around the sudden uprise of vampyr (which are the Bishops in this case) and the vampyre hunters intend to stop this revolt before it gets any worse !! This takes place in the eaaaarly 2000's ,,, so it's a modern au ,,, and is a little funny to consider that the vampyr are Old as hell and arent adapted well enough to modern society đđ
YIPPEE Now that i got that down here are the four main vampyres :-3c there is a Green Coven, Golden Coven, Blue Coven, and Purple Coven. Each vampyre is able to shapeshift into smaller formsâlike how a vampyre can change into a batâthese four can turn into different animals !! Theyve all been alive for different amounts of time, yet 300 years ago they all managed to find eachother and create a pact of vampyr covens!!
Leshy is Def known as the cruelest and invasive one,, he does happen to be the only one to mess with the shaping and mirroring of reality,,,, which honestly is concerning the most đ throughout history people have claimed they've seen "a big tree creature walking and taking people's skin" ,,,, So the eldritch rumors are NOT very helpful for him-
Originally i wanted to give heket a hellhound form but i actually liked the snake form better :-] !! Deciding her outfit was a little complicated but ,,, i think it turned out well ? Hekets known for being the most angry and cold vampyre. Despite , yknow, using fire magick . HELP
Kallamar o kallamar !!! She is a siren and she stays only in the water :-) if her siblings needs to speak to her then they make sure to have a water circle in the middle of their meeting room so they can all talk with her there,,, kallamar is known for her manipulative tactics and ways of persuasion which help her catch and convert people into vampyrism
Lastly is our main coven leader Everyone knows that built up the ideas for a vampyre uprising would be none other thann Shamura đđđ known for their sadistic self and invincibility , using wind magick to get away with a variety of things in a literal snap of a finger ,,, because of being a vampyre longer than all of them they're uniquely the one with sensitivity to blood?? They can still take blood but they dont drink it as often as the other three do (minus the way leshy does it because he literally latches himself onto a victim's shoulder with his mouth ,,,, )
With all the vampyres in mind who are our hunters ???
Well here's the first three bigshots of the company >:-D Sozonius has been hunting and obtaining information about vampyr for years, narinder is fairly new to vampyr bounty hunting yet still exceeded the expectation of a regular bounty hunter (surprisingly the strongest 23 year old), and lamb only recently started researching the vampyr after they lost their mother to vampyrism,, they are mainly known for being a detective and trying to help people out with finding their lost family members or attempting to help revert a vampyr they found back into a mortal !!!!
The company (which im,,,, Honestly not sure of a name about still đ i dont know what to call it) has been a benefit to society more than they realize. The unmentioned references happen to be Forneus and Monch. The head scientist is Monch, and Forneus IS the founder of the company to hunt down vampyres! Shes lost her family to vampyrism all the same, especially her two sons (aym & baal) which were kidnapped by Shamura too since theyve stalked narinder and knew he had a fondness over those two kittens just as much as forneus did.
There are more roles within this universe,, ive also been trying to think of how many characters I could add into this,, BUT YEAH !!!! Something really silly and self indulgent over the past few days of making finalized refs for them :-D
Ive been kinda plotting out another secret story for Narinder on how *he* was the one who caused this sudden uprising,, how the betrayal of leaving his siblings caused them to rage in revolution,, but that can be for another time đş
#sydneys doodles#cotl#cult of the lamb#cotl au#I do want to post more about this au just bc im obsessed with my own world building of it atm FHSJFSKFSK i really wanna invest in how -#- modern society would look for the vampyres... along with extending their personalities!!#I actually Do have some ideas regarding each characters relationship with one another :-O but that aside i might focus more on bg for a bit#leshy#heket#kallamar#shamura#sozonius#narinder#lamb#the lamb#My favorite design is either narinder's or kallamars :-] narinders goes a little above and beyond i think#votof

Okey zu, there are some interesting law implications here.
For one Ink is set on the idea that once you've left your time line, you can just settle in a new au right? Because you need to stay with your original coded purpose.
Cross says that the timeline is his. Does that mean that him and Dream aren't just on the timeline, but they have implanted themselves into the code of the timeline?
If that's the case then does that link to the adult aim universe. Idk if those two universes are the same cannon but these two are dead in atleast one. Is implanting themselves into the code of a new timeline the cause of stripping dream of his immortality perhaps.
Something is fishy there.
Also when ink talking about the true owner of the timeline is it aim? Is it because aim was born from Cross's soul. Or is it someone else perhaps.
Also looking back on past pages, did ink do something to Killer? I have a bad feeling that perhaps there's a reason that he was all glitches and broken up on a past page.
Idk
Coming along great!
Digging deeper to the truth as always! (ŕšËĚľá´ËĚľ)â
You see, these two has their own truth:
Ink considers Cross & Dream outcodes cause they once left their AUs and now don't belong anywhere, so any of their interventions is a violation (For example: Cross & Dream can't become part of Heaventale just because they stayed there, right? No HT!Cross/Dream is possible since they initially didn't belong there);
Cross believes that Dream & he are no longer outcodes cause they abandoned their original roles, intentionally settled in one timeline and thus became incodes (like, you can tell them apart from their original versions by their clothes, etc., they're not what they used to be).
Ink also claims that only a character created inside their world can be an incode, and that's Aim indeed (not so much because he's Cross' son; Ink doesn't believe in blood ties, they're all just creations for him, and Aim was created just for this âstorylineâ).
Adult!Aim's route may be one of the other timelines that aren't considered canon;
As for Dream's mortality, that's an interesting version, we'll be back to this issue :)
Speaking of Killer, those glitches just show that he has a key to their hidden timeline <3
Thank you so much!â°(*´︜`*)âŻâĄ
Not quite but that's a right choice :)
I really wanted to show how Ink traumatizes Aim not only morally but also physically, because this aversion to sudden and unwanted touches was passed on to Aim's adult version (>_<") (Don't worry, we'll get the chance >:3c)
Same! <3 I like how they complement each other, with Dream staying cold and controling Cross' aggression so as not to make things worse for all of them, especially for Aim ("ó3ò)
Hmm... There was a more complete answer here somewhere, I'll try to find it! And that's a great idea, but this Cross is not as chaotic... yet?
OH?? (â§ââŚ) Even I didn't foresee this option, ears for skeletons! >:D
And that's right! (ŕšá´âĄá´ŕš)âŞ
Thank youuu ;D <3

Can you please tell us more about the moment Rama finds out about reader jerking it only to R-7000 porn? :3c
pfft I knew someone would like that, need another fic of Ramattra jerking off.
But assuming the same universe: you dated and broke with with Ramattra in Nepal, then he begins stalking you, arranging "nice things" for you and then discovers this--
The only thing he can focus on is the thought of you jerking off. If he's this far into stalking you, he knows you do it, but perhaps looks away or avoids it where he can. He may have been knuckle-deep in you before, but it feels impolite now (not that he has an issue with hacking into your internet history). But some so blatant as your bookmarks? and then that tag?
He's almost frozen just visualizing you touching yourself... to him. It can't be for anyone else, R-7000s were essentially wiped out by the time he left Nepal, there's no way you're thinking about anyone else but him. A memory autoplays- of you moaning his name.
He's immediately keyed up, memory divisions rerouting to his sensory drivers. It takes monumental self-control to not simply rip his plating off- still barely managing to get it undone before his patience snaps. Ramattra wouldn't have used his cock often, if ever since its installation so it'll feel so new. And oh, you haven't even seen it, have no idea he's made this for you in your absence.
After he cums he'll be hit with two realizations:
One: You could've- in the time since Nepal- realized you just liked his build. You could be not just a gearlicker in general but perhaps you... have a particular fetish for R-7000s. It's not impossible- Ramattra had learned quickly that humans deal with his uncomfortable presence in a myriad of ways, arousal not the least of them. (Though he hopes this is not the case. He cared for you and hopes it was mutual.)
Two: Regardless of the previous, he absolutely must speak with you. In a world where he realizes you're attracted to him- or the same build of omnic- there is no timeline where he stays away. He'll make up any excuse to see you. He'll wander into your shop by "mistake". He'll message you, he happened to find you on social media after so many years. It doesn't matter. Even the potentiality that you still think of him in that way will drive him mad if he doesn't know for sure.

Can I read the 10+ bullet points for the differences in the magic cores for mtwgo?
asdfghjkl its actually quite short! you see, when i explained how wukong and mac came to life i also noted that wukong was a special case because the guy somehow got a living heart despite being born from an element, compared to mac who originally didnt have one but grew it to match wukong (woah bestie goal amirite?). Thats because in jttw and general chinese myths, a lot of demons were animals or plants that absorbed power or self-cultivated to become higher beings i.e demons (yaoguais). In mtwgo, aside from the heart from their original animal form (plants dont have hearts yo), the magic they gained becomes the magic core, containing all the supernatural power they have. wukong the rock should have no heart yet he's the universe's lil guy so he gets one :3
Theoretically, if their heart got damaged or destroyed, it affects their physical health the same way as mortals - they just fucking die lmao. meanwhile if their magic core got damaged or destroyed, they lose parts of their power/become powerless and revert to their original form, like how the demons in jttw turn back into plants or animals when they got beaten. However, the longer a demon lives, the deeper the connection between their magic core and their body is. they have used magic to sustain their humanoid form for so long that the magic flowing from their core works just like blood - being suddenly cut off from it will make their body collapse in on itself, the flesh no longer remembers their base form. Being killed through the magic core is slightly quicker than the actual heart, because if the core is still intact, it will try to heal the injuries. Having the core be destroyed also prevents other beings from stealing the core to add magic to their own.
This is to say, if one got their core destroyed but their heart intact, and they somehow has an immediate transfer of magic similar to a blood transfusion or even a heart transplant in worse cases, they might live long enough for regain their physical health. But this practice is extremely risky and has a fatally low chance of success, like real heart transplant surgery needing everything to match between the donnor and the patient yknow?
Anyway, thats why wukong (the freak), mac (the simp) and dbk (the most normal demon guy in the gang) possess heartbeats. mac's heartbeats are in sync with wukong btw, that tibbit i wrote in chapter 4 flashback was literal :))) so how are they different from the camel ridge trio? well, the trio were celestial soldiers in origin right? all celestial-born soldiers are created from the endless well of celestial energy, they pop into existence ready to serve. without mortal origins, they dont have hearts, just magic cores that once destroyed, give them the good ol' spiderman's i dont feel so good mr stark style death. they may appear to breathe, to pant, to wheeze, but those are just the effects of the rise and ebb from magic use.
uh now that im done rambling the answer is not as short as i thought lmao, theres another paragraph pertaining to this concept but that'd be slight spoiler so i'll hold onto it for later, thanky for giving me the chance to talk Lore⢠:3c

Whatâs your favorite/most developed personal headcanon of Fox/Corries? Because I know that Fade is set in a slightly different universe than The Worst Way to Find Out and the Best Way to React is, so I was wondering.
(I absolutely wasnât rereading your amazing fics again, totally not nope-)
Wow I totally did not mean to never answer this ask :D I have an unfortunately bad memory and just forgot :(
I gotta be honest, the only headcanon I stick to is Fox being perpetually done with everyone else's shit. I randomly get an idea (generally by listening to music) and I let my hands take the wheel and BAM fic happens.
And honestly the Corries lend really well to a lot of AUs.
I also realized that I totally lied, one thing all my fics tend to have in common is that the Senate mistreats the Corries. The severity tends to differ fic to fic but that's a constant one.
In the case of Fade, the angst was that Fox was a good dude in a shitty position and was doing his best by his people and still ended up hated and killed for things he couldn't control. In The Way, the angst is that HORRIBLE shit was happening to the Corries and the GAR didn't KNOW! :3c
The angst hits different but it's angsty none the less!
Hope I answered your question :)

AO3 Twenty Questions
tagged by @ladytanithia. a big thank you, as always!
tagging @inkoherentwriting, @azures-grace and YOU, dear reader
(copy/paste for the questions below the cut)
1 â How many works do you have on AO3?
Four, not counting the work I published as a reference list for my OCs.
2 â What's your total AO3 word count?
84,627
3 â What fandoms do you write for?
Just TES:Skyrim for the moment. Sadly, I haven't been able to play any of the other games just yet.
4 â What are your top five fics by kudos?
I'm dying for Among the Many Lost Souls to surpass Sought and Found. It was my first venture into longform writing and it shows. Bleh.
5 â Do you respond to comments?
Almost always. If I don't respond, it's usually because I tried my darndest and couldn't think of a constructive or meaningful response.
6 â What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
The one I'm writing right now :3c (Among the Many Lost Souls). I'm putting Gwilin through the wringer and then I'm gonna hang him out to dry.
7 â What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Sought and Found, I suppose.
8 â Do you get hate on fics?
No, I don't. I lowkey wish I did. Firstly, because haters can be remarkably perceptive, and, secondly, because I am as interested in what makes someone scrunch up their nose or click away from my fic as I am about hearing people's thoughts on what was well-executed about them. I think my stuff is too niche to really draw a lot of negative attention (right now, at least).
9 â Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Always, my man! I consider it my moral duty to make my characters fuck nasty. Why? BECAUSE IT'S HOT DUHHH
10 â Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
People who write crossovers scare me so bad. I can barely limp my way through having to structure a plot around already-existing lore and making sure everything that happens in the story is congruent with in-universe rules, meanwhile there are people out there writing Skyrim x The Walking Dead crossovers. It's cocobananas.
11 â Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not as far as I know. I don't really give a fuck if people steal my shit. Fighting with someone over authorship of a work that is principally riding on the coattails of an existing IP, which can't even be monetized, mind you, feels like a real 'race to the bottom' situation to me. I'm well aware of the quality of my work and I'm proud to have the drive to constantly better my skills. That's all that matters.
12 â Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope. Though I did start translating Sought and Found into Spanish, I dropped it when I started writing Among the Many Lost Souls. In any case, I would be so, so touched if someone decided to translate a fic of mine.
13 â Have you ever co-written a fic?
Also nope. Never tried collaborative writing outside of an academic setting. Totally open to it, though!
14 â What's your all-time favorite ship?
Uh, I'm not real big on shipping existing characters. I mostly just think about my OCs, or my friend's OCs, with each other. Aside from Gwilin x [pretty much every other NPC in Skyrim], I think thoughts about @abstractredd's guys, Hedgrod and Athrar, quite often.
15 â What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Fic-related WIP? Just one. I wanted to write another romance fic (like Sought and Found) featuring a netch farmer who's a cowboy-type character. Sexy Dunmer with a southwestern accent. Brokeback Mountain: Morrowind Edition. You get the picture.
I might still finish it, but I'm reluctant to even touch it because I haven't played Morrowind, and would have to do a real deep-dive into everything related to Dunmer in TES lore to write it. I know a lot already, but I never feel like I know enough, y'know?
16 â What are your writing strengths?
I've been told I'm good at setting a scene and painting a picture. This is, I think, a new ability I acquired in the past year or so. I've also been told my smut-writing abilities are pretty good, which is always nice to hear :) If I had to list what I consider to be my own strengths, I'd add that I've gotten a lot better at cutting the fat out of my writing (especially from dialogue tags and in describing facial expressions and body language).
17 â What are your writing weaknesses?
Dialogue is a bitch a half for me to write. It's probably the thing I most obsessively tweak before publishing. I think my dialogue tends to fall short.
Pacing is another issue. I often criticize, in other fic author's works, that they present an interesting image or idea and then leave me hungry because they don't elaborate on it, but I am the biggest culprit of this if I don't constantly remind myself that, yes, people want to hear more about this or that. They want you to mystify it, justify it, make it sexy, make it like a puzzle for them to solve. You can't just leave it cut-and-dry, much as my autism compels to do because "It's quite literally saying the same thing". Like, that's great, bestie, but you have to elaborate! Say the same thing just make it sound cooler than it is!
18 â Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
This is cool. I don't mind busting out Google Translate to enjoy a fic. That mouse-hovering feature that lets you add alternative text to a fic on ao3 is super useful for this sort of thing.
19 â First fandom you wrote for?
My first, and only other, fandom: My Little Pony. I was 12.
20 â Favorite fic you've written?
I love them all for different reasons, BUT Among the Many Souls has blood and sex and drama in it, so yeah. It's in the lead.
1 â How many works do you have on AO3?
2 â What's your total AO3 word count?
3 â What fandoms do you write for?
4 â What are your top five fics by kudos?
5 â Do you respond to comments?
6 â What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
7 â What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
8 â Do you get hate on fics?
9 â Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
10 â Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
11 â Have you ever had a fic stolen?
12 â Have you ever had a fic translated?
13 â Have you ever co-written a fic?
14 â What's your all-time favorite ship?
15 â What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
16 â What are your writing strengths?
17 â What are your writing weaknesses?
18 â Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
19 â First fandom you wrote for?
20 â Favorite fic you've written?

I wish you would write time travel! Do you prefer time loop? to the future? to the past? reverse transmigration? Any flavor pairing in svsss~
Ahha you're lucky you qualified with svsss bc I have written time travel for a different fandom :3c
i think possibly an interesting take on this would be bingge deciding the point of difference between his universe and the nice shizun universe is that liu qingge is still alive... so like hm. i'll try and keep this shortish.
luo binghe has always gotten exactly what he wanted. perhaps after a trial, a tribulation, pain or minor tragedy, but eventually he always came out on top. so didn't it follow that he would win in his search for that nicer shizun? what, after all, did that other pathetic version of himself have that he did not? did luo binghe, demon emperor of the three realms, not deserve that softer shen qinqiu?
after returning home, to a palace stirred by that inferior him, his harem in a titter, it took too long to find space to go over his memories and the filtered memories he lifted from shen qingqiu. where did the difference lie? was it something he had done, as a child, that softened shen qingqiu from a cold master into a kind man?
he goes through softened memories of warm breakfast, embarrassingly transparent sparring practice, a satisfyingly cruel goodbye into the abyss, and then finally: that attack on cang qiong mountain by sha hauling's forces. instead of backing down after the three matches, instead they are chased off.
even though he had only seen him from a distance, luo binghe cannot mistake him. indeed, he sees almost a reflection every time he looks at his wife, liu mingyan.
this then, must be the difference. liu qingge was not murdered in the caves, and instead lived. perhaps the tumultous rivalry between shen qingqiu and liu qingge allowed the man to excise his crueler tendencies away from his poor students. or shen qingqiu had intended to murder the man and failed, and thusly locked himself into a portrayal of kindness as to divert suspicion that grew into a reality. whatever the case, it seemed to luo binghe that liu qingge's survival was the pin on which shen qingqiu's destiny lay to unfold. just as the man's death was how luo binghe could pry shen qingqiu from his bamboo peak, the man's life seemed to be how luo binghe could set his hands on a kinder shen qingqiu. one he could call shizun without qualm.
then all there was to it was to uncover a way to go back. he did not necessarily seek out a way, as such things had a way of just happening to him, but he kept his long reach open and searching. similarly, he did not equivocate with himself over perhaps leaving his harem and life to go back in time. either he would be rebuilding his empire in the past, or he would manage to bring that shizun back with him. things always worked out for him, when he put his mind to it, so he didn't over worry.
when it happened, it happened almost without fanfare. luo binghe stepped through a portal and walked into the abrasive air of the demon realm, separate and unconquered.
Finding his bearings is easy, though the realms had been merged for decades, his sharp memory recalled exactly where he stood now. Just as easy is journeying the distance north to reclaim his vassal (it does not occur to him that Mobei-jun is decades younger now, that Mobei-jun does not remember his oaths and fealty. It's fine. Luo Binghe reminds him)
From there, it barely needs recounting how he finds himself deep in the Ling Xi caves, except to mention how briefly he indulged the desire to pause by the woodshed. Tempting as it is to set fire to Qing Jing again, he moves on, Xin Mo a heavy weight at his side.
He had never been in the Ling Xi caves, but navigating them is intuitive. The pure natural qi laps against him like the ocean tide. He follows it to a cavern perfect for cultivation. It's the wrong cavern, as sitting calmly, meditating, is Shen Qingqiu. Luo Binghe cannot tell if it is the softer Shizun or not.
It doesn't matter, yet. Luo Binghe turns and treks deeper into the cave system, confident. Soon enough, his ears pick up the sounds of breathing. He quickens his pace; he wants to find Liu Qingge before Shen Qingqiu. He doesn't have a plan yet for how he means to save the man; warning the Bai Zhan War God of his martial brother's duplicitous intent? Just picking him up and manhandling him out of danger as he would one of his wives?
As he draws closer in on his prey, the light breathing he hears turns labored. Perhaps Liu Qingge is on the edge of a breakthrough, perhaps he is working through a heart demon.
He doesnt know why he is not surprised when he enters the next cavern and sees the sculpted brows of Liu Qingge's face twitch into a furrow, when a bead of blood wells like tears in his closed eyes. That the Peerless War God of Bai Zhan is experiencing a qi deviation? Yes, that could be surprising. Luo Binghe briefly decides it must be the lingering influence of one of Shen Qingqiu's plots. What isn't surprising is feeling the white hot flare of Yang energy starting to consume Liu Qingge's spiritual pathways.
The cool Yin of Luo Binghe's demonic qi stirs.
It always comes back to this, he thinks, a distant mix of frustration and interest sparking low in his gut.
Standing at the shadowed alcove watching Liu Mingyan's beloved brother fall into qi deviation, he finds that not even traveling years into his past can allow reprieve from the cycle his life has fallen into. He supposes this is a fair enough trade for saving the man's life, and even a gift for the most aloof of his wives. It is almost funny that the Liu he'll have intimate knowledge of won't be the one he married.
"Quiet now," Luo Binghe calls when the qi deviation rolls over Liu Qingge, paling the man's face and making him snarl. "This Lord will help you."
At his voice, Liu Mingyan's brother opens his eyes, and they seem to flash red. With killing intent or the deviation, it doesn't matter to Luo Binghe. What matters much, much more is Liu Qingge's hand flexing, summoning the shining blade of Cheng Luan.
Luo Binghe feels a smile slip onto his lips. "Well, if you insist, this lord does not mind indulging first."
#kamaeteWRITES#ahhh im so sorry anon inwrote most of this awhile ago#anyways#thinking abouf it now id rather do a timeloop bc ibLOVE THOSE but i dont have confidence in myself#alternatively id have likes to write bingge traveling too far back in time#to tianlang jun's rule#but that is too plotty for a little drabbke haha#anyways... hope thebwait was worth it OTL

More musings on my favorite VR series from Schell Games... Has anyone else noticed that Agent Phoenix doesn't carry a gun? You don't even have access to one except in his office in the very first game. Of all the videogame characters that should have a gun, spies should be right up there with soldiers and detectives... But no, although you are practically inundated with crossbows, grenades, swords, flamethrowers, time bombs, and the odd nuclear missile, your Agent character appears to be a conscientious objector with regards to carrying a standard firearm.
I believe I may have an in-universe reason why this is the case.
Consider how the agents of the EOD have brain implants that make them telekinetic. Consider too how you gesture to grab an object with these powers and bring it towards you. It's the same gesture as holding a gun. Consider, finally, how often that object goes on your head, on your face, or (occasionally, to your handler's dismay) into your mouth.
I imagine the EOD agents have stopped carrying guns after one too many of them accidentally shot themselves while just trying to put on a hat or adjust their earpiece.
I also imagine somebody with better illustration skills than I could make a great doodle of the idea. :3c

Quick question: What would your take be for a Moebius (Scourge's world) version of Dr. Starline and Lanolin?
(In case you haven't read the Archie comics, Moebius is basically the anti-Mobius, where the good guys are bad and the bad guys are good.)
Hi o/
I, indeed, haven't read the archie comics, but I'm kinda familiar with the concept of Moebius :3c so here are my personal takes for Starline and Lanolin!
Dr. Starline
He's Dr. Kintobor assistant. At first he started off hating the doctor, he couldn't understand his vision at all, but he was morbidly curious about him, so he approached to him. Later on he began to understand Kintobor and actually agreed with his methods and practices, becoming his assistant and apprentice!
He's a very kind and cheerful man who likes to help others, offering therapy sessions in Kintobor's hospital.
He also has long hair tied in a ponytail o/
Lanolin
She's a scaredycat, heavily traumatized by Scourge and company. Those events gave her ptsd which led her to become a paranoid, anxious and nervous individual who prefers to avoid conflicts. Scream the Wolf and anti!Tangle (still don't have a name for her) constantly bully her and make fun of her, she's some sort of punchbag for them
in this universe she still uses dresses and oversized sweaters, but they all lack of the brilliant colors she uses, they're all dark and opaque, reflecting her insecurities
that's about it kajhjdsak
