so this is another fic I started on my vacation (I started three, and had one idea I haven't started yet lol - and one is already posted) - also, the two weeks here might change bc I'm struggling with the timeline (which doesn't matter but also it does lol) but I'll figure it out haha

(I'm still writing all my other wips btw, and gonna get to all the asks, but the writing beans have been gone lately, and I've been too exhausted lol - and my brain is so all over the place with my wips, idk what I wanna get to more)

They still barely know each other, but Evan knows. He can’t explain why, can’t explain how, he just knows. Tommy Kinard is it for him.

wip #1 • far too familiar a stranger…feat. logan howlett (& crimson!)

a long time ago, logan howlett knew a woman with your face…

i couldn’t not write a ‘worst!logan coming face to face with his tragically dead love interest but from wade’s universe after wade forced her to help them stop the TVA and hating her for bringing up that time in his life until he doesn’t anymore’ fic.

it's crimson because i felt that making whole new mutant reader would be sort of confusing so this fic is in the to the bone universe but it's not the same timeline...if that makes sense lmao

Wade Wilson is the worst neighbor in the entire fucking world. It’s really something you should have known sooner, like ‘the very first day in your new place ending with him breaking in through your window fully suited up after counting the floors wrong and bleeding all over your brand new pottery barn throw rug because he was still a little too concussed to walk’ sooner. Even after that whole fiasco left you with a broken window latch and a beyond fucked non-refundable $80 carpet, you still let yourself entertain his crazy. Just like everyone else whose life Wade crashed into, both physically or metaphorically. And once he's in, you can never really get him back out again. So yeah, maybe this whole thing is your fault. Maybe getting thrown into a barren, dusty void with two somewhat failed X-Men is just all your bad karma manifesting in one huge finger from the universe.

wip #2 • red and yellow kill a fellow! feat. logan howlett & wade wilson

logan doesn’t appreciate you letting wade get one up on him…

finally finally finally getting off my ass and writing logan x reader x wade! i was inspired by this one episode of satc (which is like my favorite show ever bee tee dubs) where charlotte goes out with two guys at the same time and she has sex with one but not the other until one of them catches her with the other guy and they all break it off.

my vision is a little different cause instead of getting mad and leaving when logan finds out reader fucked wade and not him, he figures it's his turn to get even. aka wade in the cuck chair and loving it.

The three of you pass a BMW sitting in a no parking zone, all four windows rolled down as Madonna blasts through the speakers. "So," Wade says, voice breaking the silence for the first time in five minutes. "Who white-washed your guts better?" You nearly trip over your own feet, whipping your head to gape at Wade. "Fucking excuse me?" "You know," Wade shrugs, like it's a perfectly normal thing to ask. The leisurely pace of his stroll not slowing, his hands still stuffed in the pockets of his jeans. "Who carved the lyrical railway better?" He just keeps going as you stare at him with a repulsed look on your face. "The number one stud that's stuffin' your muffin? That's takin the ol' bald-headed gnome for a satisfying stroll in the misty forest. Pick one hot stuff, they all mean the same thing." Before you can even answer there's a rough, questioning grunt from your right and your stomach flips. Oh. Logan, he was still here too. Still here and right next to you, listening. Oh yeah. "You fucked?" You still haven't slept with Logan yet. You turn to him face slowly, eyes a hair wide as you take in the sharp raise of his brow. "Um..." "Whoops," Wade snorts from somewhere behind your shoulder. "Cat's out the bag."

Hello!!! For the WIP aks, 'Molly shaped trouble' made me lol so I'd love to hear about it

its YOU author of THE season 2 fic that came into my HOUSe made me experience emOTIONS on like a TUESDAY wow ok cool coooool.

8. molly-shaped trouble ! I am once again staring at my own list realizing i really felt the need to start a separate molly/margo fic basically every single time Any event happened in canon.

This one is when Molly first gets put in charge of the Astronaut Office! wanted to poke around in the time where they come to some kind of truce/understanding we barely get to see on screen. And poor Margo absolutely suffering through Ed's decision at the start.

"That's gonna be trouble," said Margo, but Ed was already saluting and walking away.

Molly Cobb. Chief of the Astronaut Office, was gonna be big-time trouble. But in the span of time it had taken her to read the personnel change notice, she'd already gone well past denial and bargaining. Margo Madison had accepted years ago that Molly-shaped trouble was simply one of the brands of trouble she was always going to have.

Just now it would be in her JSC business meetings. With her military trouble. And her political trouble. And the budget.

Well, she'd always had Molly-shaped trouble in space. And in Mission Control, regularly. And in just about every hallway NASA had to offer. Where Molly went, trouble followed, and the two inconveniently charted their average flight path to perfectly bowl her over.

'Course, Margo didn't have to make that easier for her, which didn't explain why, three days later, she found herself making her way over to Ed's nine-year office to watch trouble move herself in.

"If you're going to breathe up all my air in this cardboard box—" said Molly without turning around. "At least gimme a hand with that."

Ngl I'm curious about how the TFA androids organize their chats too, like how does that technology work in this setting?

Honestly I always imagined it being like Telegram (just because that's what I use the most lol) but they have a folder for all of their chats - I guess kind of like groups in Telegram but the chat system isn't specifically based on Telegram. They have the primary general chat where they talk the most, but they also make chats for specific projects, such as S Chat, which was for their efforts toward locating Syndy. Their organizational structure is pretty much based on whether they want to keep all the resources for one topic in one chat. Which is interesting now that I think about it because I don't think any of them have a strict folder hierarchy in their internal storage in general. Dez might for his movies, but they all use a similar linked data sort of structure for most information.

They do differ in whether they have a superfolder that contains their 2-3 android chats plus the all-android chats. Mizzat does because vi wants to keep android stuff separate from vis academic stuff (I've kind of been imagining that there's one message app that everyone uses, technologically like texting but feature rich like other messaging apps. I suspect it's an open source base that gets built on so it's not 100% identical across nodes). Imjen also does, but because zi wants everything to be very organized and also because zi's paranoid and wants to enforce separation between University/job shit and zis fun real life. Dez likes his quasi-flat hierarchy of all his individual friend chats just hanging around, but he specifically has reordering based on who most recently messaged turned off so he can go DMs > group DMs > full on folders/groups. I think Syndy doesn't bother to group her chats but since her interface is all command line I wonder if that changes how she handles other things.

I'm not a writer so I'm curious. Does interaction really influence writing and motivation so much? Ever since i started reading here i have seen so many writers talk about this so i am just wondering

hmmm i'd say the answer to this is both yes and no. idk, it's a bit complicated. so like, we get new ideas and then write them for ourselves, bc writing is a hobby and excites us. sometimes we've no clue whether readers will like that fic, but we still put it out bc we like how something turned out. but interaction definitely helps. i mean we post a fic, so people can read it. so if nothing comes back, it feels very discouraging that we worked on something for so long and anticipated response and nothing happens, yk? so if you can, do support your favs.. it truly makes their day, i promise that <3

Okay, not finishing Choir tonight, have pretty good chance of finishing it tomorrow, all that’s left is the crying and wrap-up.

After that, figuring out what the fuck to do AFTER the fic that’s coming next, so that at least when this series takes a pretty sizable sudden tonal shift it doesn’t END on that sudden tonal shift.

And/or RE-rewatch because it’s been enough time I need it so that I can get the second chapter of Like A Butterfly out finally. (At least with this one, I only have to do about four episodes, tops, and Chapter 2 only needs one of them, the rest are all from the Nanami arc.)
