i do just have to say though.................... i feel like people who really really loved the movie's portrayals of the characters are adding aspects of the show characters onto them? you know what i mean? like i see people say that adrien and marinette were more likeable in the movie than the show, when movie adrien didn't perform a single act of kindness in the entire 2 hours despite kindness being a core trait of adrien in the show? marinette was normal and not particularly weird at all and just kind of a generic protagonist? were adrien and marinette actually more interesting in the movie than the show, or are you just cherrypicking the aspects of them you like the from the show and putting them on the movie characters to make your favorite amalgamation?
marinette fell for adrien not because he showed vulnerability and forgiveness and kindness and opened his heart up to her.... but because he awkwardly tried to help her up after being kind of weirded out by her? so like i guess she thought he was hot and that was basically it? chat noir fell for ladybug not because she was strong and confident and showed determination in the face of fear... but because she begrudgingly helped him up in the middle of a battle? so like i guess he thought she was hot and that was basically it? they fell for each other over just the bare minimum interactions? most of their relationship was a montage? like, did the movie do the work to convince you of lovesquare's romantic potential, or did you go into the movie already shipping them because the show had already convinced you?
thats totally a valid way to enjoy the movie ftr! i'm just saying.... idk it's weird to see people praising the movie for being "better" when i feel like a lot of the enjoyment of the movie actually hinges on watching the show as context for their characters. and i guess im just a cringe slow-burn enjoyer but i find it weird that people are using "faster" as a synonym for "better"
#ml movie spoilers#ml movie#to be clear i dont hate the movie it's fine#it was fun enough to watch#we dont talk about plagg#i guess im mostly just '?' about people dismissing all the work the show put in#i just know people are gonna use this post as an excuse to hate on the show but auauaggghhh i really dont care if you hate the show lol#in fact thats kind of the point. i find it weird people are using the movie as an excuse to dunk on the show when the movie didnt#actually do anything particularly substantial#ml fandom salt#<- i guess? i'll tag it to be safe

idk whether this is a little sick of me but i kind of love the scene in man on fire where izzy interrupts them in bed. bc izzy acts like its normal and ed acts like its unwelcome but normal and stede is like what the fuck are you doing in here. like ik a lot of ofmd’s jokes are set up like “here’s one or two people doing something situationally inappropriate and here’s one or more people reacting to it in a way that drives home how inappropriate it is” so it’s not surprising that’s the structure used here, but it’s not the only possible permutation of it; i could just as easily see stede being unsurprised and ed being vocal about feeling intruded upon (ed’s been used a few times before to calibrate the audience’s idea of what the appropriate attitude in a given situation should be, and also izzy and stede both have demonstrated peculiarities in the way they approach interactions with others, albeit in completely opposite directions—if the writers wanted to strengthen a feeling later in the episode of them finding some common ground to build an actual friendship on then uniting them in weirdness here would do some work to sell that) or izzy could have been put off to see them in bed like that and then over the course of the exchange evolve out of his discomfort to appreciate how happy and content ed looks. which i think would add something to his later scene with ed.
anywayyyu thats not my point at all though. what i like about the scene is that stede’s playing the outside observer to ed and izzy’s relationship and what he’s observing is “wow izzy’s kind of invasive of ed’s privacy” meanwhile ed mumbles “fuck off” but makes no move to ask for privacy himself and furthermore expresses a complete lack of surprise later on at the fact that izzy was watching him on deck that morning. despite these scenes happening so close to the end of izzy’s arc i feel like they offer you a lot to infer about his pre-canon dynamic with ed. it’s juicy. it’s nauseating. it’s all i could have ever asked for

im gonna be honest but your response to being told that your china's features dont look very asian is kind of wild, especially considering op was an asian person. Like, the fact a non-asian creator received criticism by an affected minority and basically told them that they were wrong about how their own ethnic background looks is kind of insane?? Especially when like, they offered advice on how to make it look more accurate. I know that your intentions likely weren't to do that and you were just being defensive because,,,, who isn't when accused of racism, (like i feel you) but I think you need to realise that there's nothing that screams "I don't care what minorities think" more than... effectively telling a POC you know what their people look like more than they do. Really, all it took was being open to criticism, and being willing to play around with his features to see if they could be adjusted (hm,,, maybe make the eyes less centred so they dont look so heavy set, go a little easier on those very obvious eyelids, etc) to look more asian instead of the artistic version of skull measuring (/J) lolol. Anyways thats just my two cents
I might sound a bit incoherent or blunt but I just have a migraine and this day has NOT been good /gen
As I stated before I 100% understand where people were coming from in regards to it and that I don't take the issue of whitewashing/making things eurocentric lightly and that I do take care to make characters look like the ethnicities they belong to.
Sometimes things look wonky! Shit happens!!
Quite frankly I was being defensive but to go ahead and once again assume ill intent and that that defense was some "I know better than you" rhetoric is exactly why I was defensive in the first place.
someone pointed an issue out, I said that I have that noted for future reference and that this was very clearly a one off issue, and that Im also showing that the sketch was poorly positioned but the lower nose bridge is still present and that bad faith and bad intentions should not always be assumed. Honestly this should have really just been a one and done move on situation especially for a sketch I did in less than five minutes.
I'm also just extremely 3-Dimensional in the way in which I think when it comes to the art process which is why I included the drawings not because of some weird "skull measuring" thing (which wouldn't even have made sense in the context anyways and honestly wild to even accuse someone of doing). I just could not word it without writing out an essay or some incomprehensible word vomit. I was just using a tactic commonly found in animation where you use "onion skins" to find the next breakdown/inbetween in the sequence to help show how he would have looked like from a front facing perspective with a neutral facial expression.
I'm not saying that I don't care or that I know more than them, and that is actually pretty close to the opposite of what I said verbatim!
I just felt the need to note that the features I showed are valid features and that simply reducing all people of east asain decent into having the same exact face (or just nose) shape is weird especially considering how much diversity there is. There are a wide variety of features in China and to go ahead and say that only ONE of them is valid and should be depicted is something that SHOULD receive push back not matter any previous context, which is what I was pointing out in the first place.
#I respect the not being on anon but like#I really dont know how else to explain that automatically assuming someone is doing something out of bad intent especially when theyre#very clearly showing that they understand the reasons why and even show why it *isnt* the case#no matter what I say someone will get pissy so like fuck it whatever

Any thoughts u want to share on the omegaverse au?
YES ACTUALLY QUITE A FEW
-Dazai isnt a omega or alpha but in fact a beta (it fits him so much trust)
-i have alpha and omega as the majority beta being far and few between + generally not looked into that much too?? some people dont really even think about them ( you go to your sex ed class its like 3 slides on omegas, 3 slides on alphas and then like 1 slide on betas thats like 'yeah they just have nothing happen to them' a lotta betas think they just havent presented yet)
-NO SEX!!!!!!!!!!! like for realzies ive been calling it the sexless abo au for a reason theres like none of the usual typical abo heat cycle shit , im Far from a prude but i wanted to do something non traditional and abo is traditonally a sex trope so yknow
-chuuya isnt a alpha omega or beta but a weird sorta combination??? a variety of factors (Lab, suribachi) fucked his biology over quite a bit, he presented real late (typical age in this one to present is like 13 he showed nothing till 16) and hes basically like all three of them depending on the day ??? his scent fluctuates and changes a ton ,entirely inconsistant, it'll full on like disapear entirely sometimes for like a week and then come back. as for the actual heat n rut thing (the thing people are here for </3 /j) he kinda like. has both. let me explain, he might go into heat or whatever and then midway through it changes OR he could have them back to back or like nothing for months its like again NOt at all liner.
-Back to the no sex thing, its not like a pg rated au its more i wanted to use omegaverse as an excuse to do a whole fic on various charecters relationships with sex, in usual evermore fashion. the omegaverse is a very gendered trope i feel a lot or at least its become that??? became that at some point?? its also a more sex focused version of our society you can really do a LOT with the omegaverse i find it real fun to play around with especially when it comes to charecters who dont fit into the ideas general society has (read: chuuya).
-asexual chuuya
-im also not doing any of that 'inner alpha' 'inner omega' stuff sorry to any fans of that </3 when it comes to compulsions like nesting or whatever i say its something either can have (either being alpha or omega) i think its just pushed more onto omegas and sterotypically an omegan thing
-oh also im giving them the fangs and claws because i physically cant NOt have some kind of monsterish parts on bsd guys everytime i have to design a bsd charecter with no supernatural elements a fairy dies
-AND this is set in the bsd canon world so abilities and such a still around, theres a high concentration of betas among ability users and abilities can effect the abo parts, maybe chuuyas so messed up because hes a singularity who knows??
I'll stop my rambling now but you get the gist of it
#this isnt proof read so i apologise if its incoherent#i have so many thoughts on the omegaverse#i havent even brought up most of it#i go insane#we should talk about abo more in sociology class#omegaverse au#bsd au#evermore answers#au asks

I’m having trouble getting a straight answer on whether or not Kon can use TTK under a red sun. The answer from googling seems to be “depends on the writer”. You’re kinda my go-to Kon expert, so I was wondering if you knew
yes.
i'm sure canon is at least kinda inconsistent about this (dc does, after all, stand for "dunno consistency") but here's the logic i follow when it comes to ttk. you'll have to forgive me for just referring to certain issues without actually citing numbers or anything, i have a migraine and a half this morning and don't wanna deal with checking i'm so sorry but if you want me to find a specific one i mention at some point later just remind me and i'll try in a few hours if my brain stops hurting!
but anyways. yes, i do believe kon can use ttk under a red sun. why? ttk is established as a metagene, not a kryptonian power. even before he's got any of his sunlight-processing powers (which are repeatedly established as coming in as he grows up, both before and even after the geoff retcon), he has the full extent of his ttk.
now, wf3 and also the aftermath of sins of youth do both suggest that he is still tied to sunlight-processing in some way (after all, why else would kryptonite have affected him in wf3?), so that's definitely an inconsistency. however, i posit that since ttk is a metagene, even if his body is powered by sunlight, he should still be able to access it. (depowered kon arc post-sins of youth still works in this way if we assume he was just Really Fuckign Tired and also the magic was still impacting him.)
but honestly the biggest reason i say that yes, his ttk still should work even under a red sun, is in supergirl vol 5. kon himself isn't there at the point i'm thinking of, but there's an arc sometime before last stand of new krypton (the hunt for reactron, iirc, but don't quote me on that) in which kara, thara ak-var, and chris kent all get slapped with red sun projector collars. this neutralizes their kryptonian powers, but chris specifically says he can still use his telekinesis.
now people who know more about editorial impact on the superfam than i do can definitely chime in here, because i'm just going to refer to stuff i've read but don't have sources on immediately on hand, but. why does chris have ttk? well, because before infinite crisis killed kon off, kon was supposed to be nightwing. (i know there was an artist who tweeted about this. i don't remember who.) in fact some of the dialogue written with the nightwing in new krypton reads kind of like kon, specifically the way he introduces and brags about his ttk, imo. this was later retconned into being chris. therefore, chris has ttk, which is explained away as being some general phantom zone related weirdness. (as a matter of personal taste i think it kind of diminishes the POINT of ttk being to imitate kryptonian powers to give it to chris, so i like to pretend that he has some weird psychic stuff going on instead, to keep chris and kon distinct, but thats kinda beside the point.)
SO. all of that to say. it's sort of a matter of opinion because you can construct an argument based on canon both ways, but i personally fall into camp ttk is a metagene and therefore can only be suppressed by meta-suppression tech, not red sun.

y'all need to stop being lame.
it's getting very boring.
im not sure if you folks are suffering from lack of enrichment or vitamins because school is out or something but I need you to stop being so fucking weird to others in the fandom. idk if i missed an olympics category or something but i promise you that they're not handing out medals for being dickheads in people's inboxes.
I'm sure if you channeled that energy into something worth any value you'd actually be really good at something. right now all it's accomplishing is signaling you as a weird ass loser to the rest of us.
which reminds me: can you fucking freaks stop using the hostility towards poc in this fandom as a weapon to try and silence people you hate? i get it, it's hard seeing a bad bitch (gn) thrive and have a good time on here but damn bro, learn to overcome that. you sound stupid as fuck telling people with a platform that they shouldn't speak up on the hostility towards poc at all. do you know why they probably decided to make a post like that in the first place?
because they probably saw it happening first hand.
you coming along and saying dumb ass shit like this clued me into the fact that you're probably the same kind of white people that make this space so hostile in the first place 😭💀 it's either that or your hatred for someone who tries to uplift and bring attention to poc creators is so strong that you look past all that. which if that's the case, boo bitch get a fucking hobby or something.
speaking of getting hobbies, those of you that get bent out of shape whenever anyone brings inclusivity into the fandom should really consider getting some! i know that your one identifying personality trait is being a tiny white girl or whatever but i promise you that if you find a nice hobby to round yourself out, life gets soooooo much better. to the point where someone asking for inclusivity won't feel like a threat against your appeal! hell, you might even finally understand why people ask for such a thing :o (hint: it's something to do with default settings)
anyways, thats all i wanted to say. to the rest of you hot, fat, chunky, tall, short, thick thighed, buff, wide hip, wide ribcage, glasses wearing, tattoo having, sexy ass bitches: i hope you have wonderful night <3
#.kiko-talks#.discourse#this is the tame version of what i really wanted to write#idk it pissed me off enough for my brain to string some coherent words together#tldr: stop being fucking losers bozos#god damn you'd think it's a simple ask but the way some of you operate you'd think i'm asking you to try and live off a cup of water a day#goodnight y'all

💔 and 💄 for arvo, since his face technically isnt his
💔 (broken heart) - Who has your character hurt most? Physically or emotionally? How did it feel? Do they regret it?
OHHH tbh for this one it requires all of the categories . and more
physically: well every vätte he's killing at jägarlyan KJFDSKJFSD and also arvo (human) and juhani. although i think the most brutal deaths were actually the humans, since arvo couldnt have shot them then (so his means of kill are..... Primal and driven by a meltdown). emotionally during pt 1 he does hurt a lot of people someone quite significantly indirectly. one of them is selma ofc. he doesn't really think about what he's doing at this point because of repressing any doubts/feelings of wrongness so at the moment he doesn't feel guilt about it - especially because he legitimately viewed bäckahästar as animals (not even only in his fucked up brain way but literally, bcs he didn't actually know that they were sapient). and of course he sees what he does as survival and an exacting of justice later on during pt 2. and post story he does deal with a lot of guilt/shame over what he's done to warrant selma's ire, but i think at first that guilt is actually misplaced and kind of selfish, and more concerned with how bad he feels that he hurt folke through that (who was also really hurt- you could probably on a similar level to selma, but part of that is maybe that folke is a bit more fragile tbh, it depends on how you look at 'hurt'). through pt 2. i think he experiences things which causes him to shift that perspective a bit, but he has very ill thought patterns which are hard to unlearn for him. i think he has very complicated feelings about regrets at this point, because he probably never really stops believing that the world is fundementally cruel, its moreso his perspective of him trying to survive by living in accordance to that might change
💄 (lipstick) - What does your oc think of their face? Do they have a positive or negative opinion? Do they wear makeup? Do they have a skincare routine? What traits do they like most about their face?
OHHH THIS IS INTERESTING FOR HIMMM.
i think he, at first, deeply loathes it actually. he hates it because he can see that it didn't end up looking like human arvo much at all, since the illusion doesn't work for him - he sees his feathers, skin, claws etc. its a constant reminder of what he is, and somehow even more humiliating because its a shoddy (in his view) imitation of the position that he is trying to survive as (as a human that is). he feels alienated from it and it just reminds him of the fact that he is never really safe unless he does his utmost best to secure a good place among humans, to the point where they wouldn't suspect him of being anything else
later on in his life i think his opinion mellows a bit about it and begins to identify with it more than his basilisk form, but they are both him to him. his humanoid forms "not quite human not quite basilisk" appearence is something that he finds identification with a lot too because he struggles with feeling alienated/not really belonging in either with humans or in sartrill during pt 2 and post story and i dont think that ever really goes away.
this became more general than just face but thats because well i dont think that arvo thinks of his face as much other than just a face JKFDJKSFD. human attractiveness doesn't really register to him as he isn't human so he doesn't have much of an opinion on that front. funnily enough i think that he probably believes he looks "more mature" than other humans because he is visibly feathered (to himself) - basilisks tend to think that the sparse filaments on humans look kind of "cute"/neotonous because basilisk chicks are featherless when hatched and are sparsely feathered in early life. i think that he finds his lips really weird though, he gets used to having them (and teeth) but part of why he isn't very expressive is just that he thinks moving his lips too much is weird.
#oc stuff#asks#oc: arvo#pareidolia tag#ok i wrote alot because this is the only ask sent from this one HAHA#i dont mind though because i love unfurling my worm's brainsquiggles and laying them out on the table

Just saw a tiktok of a straight girl complaining that she wasn’t turned on during saltburn and that it disappointed her? Why is media literacy dead on that app?
Rant incoming
IMO, part of the point of the bath scene (her main complaint) is that it’s supposed to make you a bit comfortable, it’s supposed to completely break a boundary.
Viewers are already on edge, given that Oliver watches Felix through a door, at an angle that appeared INCREDIBLY exposed, almost as if Felix could turn around at any second and catch Oliver. That scene gets you in a vulnerable position already (on edge) and then instead of doing the two expected things- moving on and getting Oliver to go to his own room, or Felix noticing and reacting to him- he isn’t caught.
He doesn’t go to bed.
He goes FURTHER. He pushes FURTHER.
So, it’s normal however you react. Thats the beauty of being human, some people like that stuff, but it’s just as normal to feel disgusted or strangely empty after that scene.
Now, I’m a lesbian, so I don’t take in media in the same way as she does, I imagine. From her perspective, I imagine she went in expecting two (or more) attractive men being seductive, and was disappointed by the fact that Oliver’s sexuality was very deranged and obsessive, that Felix’s sexuality was very much in the dark, given Oliver’s perspective of the women he slept with. I can imagine that it’s disappointing and I can’t fully understand that, but it’s unfair to judge the film on whether or not you find it personally hot.
I think people are forgetting the actual point of the film and are just seeing it as ‘I didn’t find it hot so bad rating’. I think the unconventional love, sexuality and attraction is the WHOLE POINT of the film. It makes it. I think you should find Oliver cringe, even if you like his character or plot etc. I think he kind of takes parts of people that are relatable or attractive and then twists it. So by completely disregarding the entire thing because you didn’t find it personally attractive, you miss out on the point.
Main point because I went off track a bit there…
Essentially, I think you’re supposed to be unsettled by the bath scene particularly, to some level.
The whole film follows Felix in tiny moments, washing six months of homoerotic friendship with a romantic filter, idealising his and Oliver’s relationship as the most important, beautiful thing to ever be born from Oxford.
And I think you forget for a minute that these moments are SMALL. In Oliver’s head, they’re not, so to us, they also appear big and cute, but they’re barely even present if you really think about it (in a romantic/sexual way, not platonic). Then suddenly Oliver is watching him masturbate, drinking the water, licking the drain. It’s all suddenly *too* much, overwhelmingly obsessive, completely reminding the viewers that Oliver is the narrator, the protagonist, the one painting this beautiful image. Reminding the audience that this relationship is nowhere near this point yet is the reason for that scene to some level; it physically forces you to reconsider who is the ‘good guy’, if Oliver should do this, if he is anywhere close to being able to get away with this. I think you suddenly look back and think ??? Felix would think this is crazy ???
It’s crazy, because I argue the bath scene isn’t even the moment this theme is introduced. The film sets this up SO EARLY. DID YOU MISS THE SCENE WHERE FELIX IS UNDRESSING WITH A GIRL AND OLIVER STANDS OUTSIDE OF HIS WINDOW WATCHING HIM??? That’s foreshadowing: he doesn’t understand the boundary here, he’s incredibly jealous of Felix’s sexual life without him so he places himself in his life, even if Felix doesn’t know. Thats the point. It’s just shoved in the middle of a montage of these perfect moments between the two so you see it and think OLIVER STOP BEING WEIRD!!!
Anyways. TikTok please engage in critical thinking before posting challenge xoxo
#saltburn 2023#saltburn#saltburn spoilers#no hate to op#but if that’s all where your engagement for this film stops then you wasted two hours of your life#bee rants#i will probably develop this later to make more sense but i needed to get it out somewhere#long post#oliver quick

you should tell us about one of your ocs!
sure! I'll talk about one of my favorite OCs that doesnt come up that often, namely Rem.
Rem is from a OCverse called Delta thats all about dreams and nightmares. He is a henchmen of the nightmare lord Raken and is striving to create the ideal balance between dreams and nightmares. In this story the dreaming kingdom is the antagonistic force that is trying to put people to sleep forever, and Raken, Rem, Rhea, and Puck are working to avoid that.
As a character, Rem starts out as Raken's right hand man and the charismatic leader of the henchies. the head henchy if you will. Raken is sort of like a father/very positive mentor figure to him. He wants to keep Rhea and Puck's morale up considering the fundamentally messy task they have to do (literally give people horrible nightmares to wake them up). He's also very close with Rhea, being her best friend and working hard to find a way to let her wake up/giving her reasons to wake up again. He's got a weird, codependent thing going on with Puck that even when everyone was on good terms probably wasnt helping the cause, but at least their respective messiness was contained to each other.
But since a plot needs conflict and all that, as the trio starts to falter and split apart, he kind of snaps and goes sicko mode at some point. He's very obsessed with people's perception of him and always thought people looked at him as a bad guy/freak (not having eyes doesnt help), and at some point he gives in and leans into it. instead of being "I create nightmares for the greater good" he masquerades as "I create nightmares because fuck you 10,000 years spider mouth hat man paralysis demon blast" and morphs into the caricature he thought people saw him as. I really like "former leader/most upstanding character snaps and becomes the new antagonist" vibes which is part of why i like him so much.
fun fact, he was also a regular person who fell out of their dream and chose to dream forever just like Rhea, which is part of why he's trying to push her to find a way to wake up since its too late for him.
#sometimes i also call him eyeless joe bc one time when i was drawing him someone asked why he didnt have eyes#and all i could say is 'well thats just eyeless joe' and its stuck ever since#there is actually a real reason he doesnt have eyes and a lot of other random lore about this guy but im trying to keep it '''short''

MY SATOGOU GOODBYE RANT.
so yeah i said i would do one so here i am. honestly dont know how long this will be so let's get stuck in lmao <33
I'm starting after the 'im glad i met you part', bc i kind of already did a post on that anyway lol (and just wanted to add, in the dub they changed it to 'I'm sure glad i met you,' and Ash says it so soft omg i literally died on the spot watching it ;-;
(headsup ignore the fact some of the images are off a youtube channel i couldn't find the scenes💀)
so i hope this is all in order, but this bit is so so SO sweet when Goh tells him 'thanks for reaching out for me' like no surprise i was literally crying at that point like sgdxkjnfsgf it's so sweet to me that without Ash none of his journey would have really happened, but tbf you could say the same for all of his companion tbh. either way, i am very glad goh met satoshi too omg <3 🥺
theennnnnn this part is Ash just offering some sweet words of advice and comfort, talking ab their dreams ect, like, nothing too bittersweet to see here, but i guess you can say the way he said 'WE' and meant both of them is sweet lmao
OK so on the palm of our hands thing i have a few things to say
first of all i love how Ash knew that he knew what to continue with bc they are just so in sync with each other ofc <3 and OFC they had to put that scene in for the last episode, like when it was in the Mewto episode for the first time, i was honestly screaming of how cute it was LIKE THE FACT ASH MADE THE LITTLE ADD ON OF 'OUR HANDS' IN THE FIRST TIME THEY DID IT JUST MAKES IT EVEN MORE CUTER EJHSKF
but anyways as much as i love this scene because of how 'the future is in the palm of our hands', can be interpreted in some otherways, 👀 I also couldnt help but thing about something else.
after/before the Project mew stuff actually started/finished (pretty sure it was after,) we see a scene of Goh, Gary and Horace using the 'palm of our hands' phrase together, and yeah its rlly cute lmao, but i was kind of hoping it was something unique for Ash and Goh, not trying to be a fusspot, but i think the scene now feels slightly less special to me now Goh used it with some other people?
I mean sure, ash and goh were still the first people who did it, and it IS their kind of thing lmao, like they created it. Even tho it was just an initial thought, it is still really sweet that goh used it with others don't get me wrong <3
when i was watching this i was like no way this is it lol like are you not gonna confess
jokes but thankfully they made a bittttt more to it (and good bc if they left it there I would be sitting there like what)
so they start to walk away from each other and you see Goh is still quite sad while Ash is still holding up, my heart was dying </3
STOP IT WHEN GOH STOPPED AND HE WAS ABOUT TO CRY AAAAAAAAAA 🥺🥺🥺
BUT OFC
OFC ASH HAS TO CALL OUT TO HIM AND THE WAY GOH'S EYES HAVE THE LITTLE SPARKLE WHEN HE HEARS HIS VOICE 💖 The fact Ash actually thought while he was walking away 'oh shit need to check up on the bf' lol and climbed up the little hill to wave him off again is the cutest thing; CANNOT CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE this made their whole goodbye for me tbh 💕💕💕
SUPPORTIVE BROS FOR REAL <3
ofc they want each other to achieve their dreams aww
ok but THIS
the bit where they nod at each other is so comforting to me like it's weird, but it gave me a little more satisfaction i'll say, lmao. also gives you a hint that they are wrapping up the goodbyes fully so it gave me some very brief preparation time 😢
and with that, Goh runs off into the distance.
</3 (my boy has grown up sm) 🥺
OK i do love that when he runs off, he's more confident, and when it switches back to Ash, it has him watching over Goh until he can't see him anymore, which is rlly cute <333 ahhh they're so pure man
Ash runs off to his new journey too, and he begins to talk about Pallet Town to Pikachu...
Thats it
yeah
SOOOOO BASICALLY THIS IS MORE OF THE RANT SECTION:
uhmmm so first things first. Did i like the goodbye for them? Well, yeah, it was quite cute, especially the end part where Ash gives him that last bit of encouragement and called out his name, because SHEESH if they left that part out and gave them that first goodbye without Ash calling out to him, and they just left each other....yeah, i wouldn't be happy.
see, i just kind of thought they deserved a bit better. It was v cute and all, but like they've been through so much together 😭 😭 😭 😭 like I'm saying this as a shipper but still 😂 tbf if they hugged I probably would have cried but let's be honest I could cry at anything at this point
but hey what we got was pretty cute, I just would have tweaked some things because honesty this duo are literally the closest I've ever seen in the anime, and I would have hoped for a little bit more, BUT IT'S FINE IT HAPPENED *mentally counts*
9 MONTHS AGO (??? where has the time gone)
but thank you for coming to my TED talk <33

Hey! I’ve been a fan of G/T content for quite a while, but I’ve mostly stuck to Deviantart&Wattpad. Pretty recently I decided to create a Tumblr account in an attempt to find more content, and I’ve been amazed by how interactive the community is here! However, I noticed something that I find pretty weird, and just wanted to get an opinion from someone who seems to be a pretty active member of the community, at least from what I’ve seen.
In all the posts I’ve seen, I’ve never seen VR mentioned even once. I might just not be looking in the right place, but I just found it weird. I’ve been an avid VRChat player for a while, and having spent a large amount of time there I noticed the potential it holds for genres like G/T. I was expecting to find at least a single mention of it somewhere here, but I never have. I see lots of posts from both sides of G/T that mention something like, “I really wish I could just hold/be held by someone, etc.” and, well, I’ve had experiences like that. I’ve fallen asleep and woken up in a friend’s hands before. I’ve had friends sitting/standing on my shoulder. They don’t even know this community exists, these interactions just happen naturally.
I just want to share some of the experiences I’ve had, and when I went looking, nobody here seemed to know it was even possible. So yeah, that’s what finally motivated me to interact directly with the community. To at least let someone know that it is possible, and far more accessible than most seem to realize.
I’ll also make a standard post, but considering the fact that I’m a very new account I don’t expect many to see it. Thus why I messaged directly. I know this was a bit of a ramble, I'm still a little nervous about finally interacting with something I've only passively watched for quite a long time. So thanks for taking the time to read through, and I’d love to hear your opinion on why it isn’t mentioned, or anything else you wanna say! Take care out there!
OH! This is quite the interesting ask!! I may not be the best person to answer as I am far from techie.
First off, that sounds incredibly fun! I've only ever tried VR with an escape room - which oddly enough had a silly sizey experience; There was an issue with the calibration or something on one of the headsets and a friend who's just a little over 5ft had their in game avatar show up ballpark around 7ft tall.
I love that g/t seems to happen naturally with your interactions too! I'd love to hear more!
Now for the meat of the question- why isn't this mentioned? Again, keep in mind, I'm no techie or avid gamer so this is really biased towards myself. In no particular order,
Age
Price point
Tech Difficulty
Privacy
Missing sensations
My first guest would be age. I myself am in my mid/late twenties, and just never really grew up with that kind of tech, so theres just a lack of knowledge and not more than a passing interest in it. I think with age there also comes issues with free time, though I'll speak on that more with privacy. I think in general there tends to be a perception that VR chat rooms have a lot of minors (whether this is true or not, I have no clue, but as an adult that is a concern).
My second guess would be price point. Now, again, I am not a tech wiz, so I really don't know too well what would be a good headset (if any ol' cheap one would work, or if the oculus is the way to go), but I know the well known headsets are not at all cheap, and do also require a something to run them on (from my understanding thats just a good enough gaming pc? I have no clue.) Basically, there is a monetary component at play.
Thirdly would be tech difficulty. Some people are just bad at technology, and don't want to learn a new form of it.
Now privacy is what I would think is a big factor- and not online privacy. Roommates, siblings, spouses, family- if someone lives with another person they may not be comfortable being seen interacting on VRchat (especially with how paranoid some of us get with g/t), and then finding alone time is just an absolute pain with work, school, clubs, responsibilities etc.
Lastly, I think some people are hesitant about the missing sensations. Essentially, "who cares if all I can do is see it, I want to feel it." I think for some people it may have the opposite effect, and the degree of realism mixed with the very obviously "not real" cues could be more upsetting- being so close to having something you fantasize about but being reminded its not actually real.
Those are just my thoughts- and I hope others will add some of their own! This is quite the interesting topic and I'd love to hear more about it! As I mentioned earlier, I have very limited experience with VR, but from what little experience I did have it was a ton of fun! I feel like VRchat could be something a lot of people in the community could enjoy if they knew more/had access to it.
#Whew#Long one#I have no clue if I'm accurate about this one#I am a hick who has very limited tech knowledge#I am a whiz with spreadsheets#Thats about it#g/t community

apparently y'all Are desperate enough for my Lomadia Oc so uh. hope you're in the mood for [checks notes] ~13 paragraphs, half of which is just description!
allow me to introduce Villom!
She doesn't have an actual name or in-universe nickname, I just call her Villom. Because she was originally a Villain Version of Lomadia from a sci-fi world for some comic idea I totally scrapped bc it sucked. Except for Villom!
So basically what if we put Lomadia in space and gave her every problem and no normal coping mechanisms
The base universe is Completely Impossible sci-fi space stuff, involving solar systems being relatively close together and having tons of habitable planets, with star trek 'convergent evolution' making everybody a Weird Human Basically. Part of these choices is that I. Don't actually like sci-fi lol. I don't think its bad I just can't Get Into It, so I did the lazy version. HOWEVER I do also use the fact that its extremely artificial and story-focused as part of the plot so its FINE There IS also magic, but it’s generally less used, as tech is more accessible and less complicated from a user standpoint. That doesn’t mean it isn’t powerful, if you know what to look for. Thats foreshadowing!
Compared to base Lomadia, Villom is.. very immature. She has trouble identifying and controlling emotions, she's quick to anger and holds grudges. She's also more impulsive and tends towards insults and crude jokes. She's actually pretty fun to hang out with as a result, but responsibility is a role she's crushed into, and it never truly fits. She's trying her best ok
Villom starts out her story as a young adult, training to be a pilot. She does some hero shit, but breaks so many rules in the process and gets kicked out. She’s enraged by this betrayal of what was supposed to be her life, and steals a ship to go rogue and try to pursue her dreams anyways. She doesn’t exactly know what she’s doing, though, and eventually a chase causes her to crash on an unfamiliar planet, where she meets Rythian. He’s steampunk now, don’t question it
Anyways, they end up teaming up, and form the first of her crew. Later additions are Martyn, who is a mouse guy who has So Fucking Many People Who Want Him Dead, and Zoeya! Who ended up separated from Fionn following partially the plot of Mushbury, and works as the ship’s engineer. Their ship (that lasts long enough to get a name…) is called the Ask, and Villom occasionally (and jokingly) calls her crew the Answers. (Its called the Ask because originally I gave the characters nicknames based on Norse mythology for Pretentious Reasons, those might come back later)
So everything’s all fine and poggers for a while, with the Ask’s crew causing mischief and undercutting evil empires across the worlds- and then Villom’s home planet is destroyed. And she sees it happen.
See, one of the tropes of sci-fi that bugs me, is how understated the death of an entire planet tends to go. This is the first step of Villom realizing how truly fucked up the world they live in is- and the first step of her wondering why it has to be this way, and how to stop it.
It only gets worse from here.
No matter how many evil empires they topple, no matter how many massive threats they thwart, there’s always another one. And no matter how fast they are, they can’t stop every world-ending crisis. Villom starts learning magic, wondering if theres some kind of solution there. When she doesn’t find one, she just looks harder. Brushing so close with forces she’s alone in experiencing wears on her, compounding with their futile mission.
The breaking point is when Rythian dies. Raiding an enemy ship goes wrong, they’re outnumbered, they’re trying to retreat. Surrenders are not accepted, there.
It’s another thing she sees happen, another thing she was inches away from but unable to stop. And she can’t take it. She can’t take losing another part of her, another of the few things she could call home in this cold void.
She takes some of the things she learned looking where she shouldn’t- and kills the nearest member of the enemy team, trading a life for a life. And part of her soul as tax, of course. Just a small bit, this time. She never tells him. Pretends it was instead an incredibly close call. He probably knows she’s lying, on some level, but he never says it.
Villom is desperate, now. There’s more and more things she’s hiding from her crew, more and more boundaries of safety she’s pushing. She trades one of her eyes for the ability to see the functions of the world itself- maybe it’s a mistake, there’s some gear stuck, and if she fixes it this infinite loop of wars will stop.
There is no mistake. This is how the universe is intended to function.
She can’t give up. Because if she stops, she’s never going to get up again.
Maybe there’s other worlds where it’s better, where it’s safe. Maybe there’s a way to make this world like them.
Maybe there’s a way to leave.
She’s barely human anymore, even though she looks perfectly fine. Her hair is white, her eye replaced, but that’s all. She’s replaced the things she’s traded away. She’s barely even a part of the world, anymore. Unstuck from the threads of it, floating as a constant point, unchanging and undying, snapping back into place when moved.
A lot of universes are visited by a strange woman with white hair, who never stays. Sometimes she’s a savior, or a tyrant, or merely another passerby.
One of them, somewhere, has to have an answer. The way to break the cycle. And Villom will find it- even if she has to take every one of them apart.
#long post#villom#published works#<-organizational tag this isn't like. in a book#if you actually read all of this i love you. and hopefully you now get why im obsessed with her#my cringefail girlboss <3 inventing new war crimes#if you follow the suggestions blogs you may have already seen her!

I said something similar on my blog but I feel I didn't word my thoughts better:
The newer phases' art styles feel too polished for me, from the lineart to the boring shading and saturated colors. (Especially with phase 6) I miss the messy feel of Phase 2, 3, and even 4 because it still kept the feeling of the older phases. Phase 5 I'm iffy on because imo it still looks fine with the colors but still has that modern Gorillaz art style I dislike but it still sorta felt experimental in a way?-. On it's own the art styles are...Alright, but for Gorillaz I just don't think it fits, I love the cartoony art style from the earlier and find it more charming and memorable. I don't think I'm saying this out of nostalgia (I joined the fandom during 2018, lmao) I think it's just because of my own preferences
I saw someone say that it's like Jamie is trying to make the characters more conventionally attractive and I couldn't agree more.
hmmm ..... ive heard many people say this but i have mixed thoughts on it.
the tone of gorillaz overall taking a turn towards being more brand-friendly is definitely a factor, but i dont think its the only one. i really do think jamie gets bored and its not just me speculating, apparently he said he was "fucking bored of drawing those characters" in 2008, yes, since BEFORE PHASE 3. i do still think he has a lot of enjoyment in drawing them (otherwise he'd probably quit) but you can really tell when he's drawn something just because he felt like he had to. that's why gorillaz promotional art seems to be increasingly lacking in personality, imo. something really changed around song machine era where stuff was just getting pushed out as fast as possible and predictably got rushed. because ive brought this up before, if youve seen his art in the gorillaz artbook it's an entirely different vibe than promotional artwork cause thats the stuff where he does whatever he wants and is free to experiment. but that level of experimentation that he wants to do is very non-commercial, and it would've been in any phase. (that semi-realistic murdoc rasputin picture freaked people out when it was released but thats the kind of thing he really wants to do!!)
it's not only got a lot more personality and life to it but it's retained that edge that earlier gorillaz art had, despite using brighter colors and overall more poppy visuals. there's a murdoc shrunken head ffs. i really like it. i hope we see more of that kind of stuff in phase 8.
here is the edgy 2d everyone's been asking to make a comeback, in the 2020's:
personally i dont mind the brighter colors and overall more clean and lighter vibe. it doesnt resonate with me quite as much, but i dont think its neccessarily a sign of becoming more commercial. it can look that way and have edge at the same time as seen in the artbook.
murdoc becoming neon green is an eyesore often times but i think it's made up for by the fact that it's really funny in an ironic meta way. some day he will just transcend the color spectrum visible to the human eye probably....
i dont see how the characters have gotten more conventionally attractive. for example noodle had her whole eyebrow shaved off on the meanwhile ep art. theyve always been ugly and to get rid of that youd have to change their designs and personalities to make them unrecognizable. plus i think murdoc's actually somehow managed to get uglier... his face looks more misshapen as he's aged.
one thing i dont like in newer gorillaz art that i havent seen anyone else point out is how much jamie's horniness leaks into it. maybe i have just noticed it more than everyone else. dont get me wrong i think its totally fine if he draws that stuff on his own time of his characters if he wants to but when it gets into official gorillaz stuff its just plain weird and unneccessary and makes me uncomfortable 😭 like wtf ....

wait hol' up i gotta hear those Bobo Thoughts. hes such a fascinating character and the way he was used was so all over the place (like straight up vanishing when it was Serious Episode Time lmao) but,, thats Rex's friend! weird uncle? Moral compass but pointing the wrong way?? Always had such mixed feelings about his writing
Bobo is like. The thing about Bobo is he's such a good fucking character potential. I said most of my thoughts in this reply so I don't really have much more to say besides Wow they really did just make the potential for a really interesting character and blew it for jokes about harassing women. There was so much THERE where he COULD be funny while still being a serious character - plenty of the time Rex is silly and goofy while still being a serious character.
Exposed imo is one of, if not the best Bobo episode for the simple fact that he was actually a funny comedy relief character while still being Bobo, actually. It didn't really dive into him as a character, but he did have some pretty good lines ("That cage was electromagnetically sealed" "I didn't say it was easy" got a chuckle out of me, as well as "Are you going to just stand there and talk or help me?" "Talk.")
But also in my rewrite of Bobo, he's...well, he trusts in Rex's abilities, and he knows at the end of the day he doesn't really have superpowers or healing like the kid, but he's way more concerned for him. He notices how Rex makes jokes when he's stressed and makes jokes with him, to help ease tensions and get Rex to crack a smile when things are tough. He sits with the kid and talks because he knows he's also an adult, but he knows he's easier for Rex to relate to than other soldiers at base. Even with as much as Holiday and Six love Rex and are there for them, they're still in positions of authority over him - Bobo, meanwhile, is another EVO, who knows he can talk to Rex about how much it sucks not to have people like them. I don't have the link on hand but I remember in @bambeptin's interview where the show creators mentioned how Bobo was like a weird uncle, and I think they should've played into that dynamic more. Bobo encouraging Rex to be reckless and sneak out and see what he can get away with when his parents and Providence aren't looking.
Also, the show just kind of...forgets that Bobo made Robobobo and I think that'd be fun to play with. Bobo surprising everyone with how smart he is, all the skills he picked up over his time doing crime on the streets that Rex doesn't remember/know about. He could've contributed to the team so much in S3 by being the guy who knows how to break into places without hurting or killing people (like Six and WK know), occasionally peeking at Holiday's work and pointing something out bc she's an overthinker (all the adults in the Providence Fam in S3 kind of are in their own ways) and he goes at things to try to find the easiest solution. Hell, even have jokes about him being surprisingly smart - have characters talk about something super complex and Bobo surprises everyone by understanding it. Have everyone getting ready to kick down a door and have Bobo say "And here I thought I was the animal" or some joke like that and pick the lock. Hell, have him try to open a door and see that it's unlocked while everyone's prepping to kick it in.
Have Bobo be just...a smart and logical guy and have that be the joke. He looks ridiculous, constantly makes jokes and acts dumb, but reminders that he IS smart can be funny, and him being cheeky can be funny! Hell, the show kind of hinted at potential but never went through but Bobo and Six having a rivalry bc they both think the other is bad for Rex at first (and have a history of clashing that we see in Promises Promises) could be VERY funny! Especially because it would pair Six's very blunt personality with Bobo's ridiculousness and refusal to act seriously. There's potential there but they just...went for easy jokes and it's a shame, because Bobo had so much potential to be great.
#generator rex#Also I need to write this fic sometime but I'm swamped irl#But I have a hc/fic idea that Bobo was the one who first got Rex to sneak out of Providence#With the intention of convincing the kid to fully run away. For both of them to get out of there bc he knew how bad Providence was for Rex#Trying to get in the kid's head when he knew that there were no cameras. It didn't end up working and they ended up being found but.#Can you imagine. How insane it would be if they had like a flashback filler episode to that#Where Bobo and Rex goofed off in public but also just. Talked. And Bobo was like 'Maybe Providence isn't as good as you think it is.'#And bonus if they had that episode in S3. Like. Man.#Also sorry for atting you Bamboo but I know it was your interview and want you to get credit for all the amazing information we found out#And also to remind people about that interview bc I look back at it sometimes and twirl my hair about the info you got

Charm is subjective bt i dnt find it to b a requirement. I find JDW to b charming (i liked his n Zs off screen chemistry, he seems goofy lmao) and Austin to nt really b that charming (bt he seems nice n is talented) lmao bt ik u n sum others might disagree 😅 if they seem cool, i lik their vibe and/or their talented then i can become a fan
And i think sum ppl r just great storytellerers lol Tom def is and thats apaprt of what makes him charming n a great interviewee. On the flip side i find Timmy/Z to b charming too, bt i dmt think their really known for their interview skills
Yea, I think you're right anon. I think charm can definitely be subjective. One man's "charming" can be another man's "boring" I suppose ROTFL!!! 🤣
For me personally? I don't NEED my favorite actors to be "charming" tbh. As long as they're kind, respectful, talented, and seem like good people, I really don't need all of my favorite actors to all have the same personality or be a certain way. But that's just me. 🤷🏾♀️
I've just noticed lately this seemingly undue focus on "charm" or "rizz" and I'm likeeee..... Ummm...they're just actors lol. They're not your personal entertainment buddies or comedians. Goodness. 🙄 I'm not just talking about Twitter either. I've even seen that comment here in my inbox.
Yea, it's great if an actor can be charismatic like Tom Cruise or Tom Holland, but it's not a requirement for me personally. In fact, it would be kind of weird to me if all actors acted the same in interviews. JMHO. I'm fine with actors just being themselves?? 🤷🏾♀️
RE: JDW...
That's funny, because "charming" is not the word I would use to describe JDW right off the bat (I've seen him in a few interviews lol), but you might be seeing something I'm just not seeing Anon lol. Maybe you'll need to send me some other interviews of his for me to see what you're seeing lol. To me, John Boyega is REALLY charming and charismatic off-camera, but then again, I kind of feel like most British men are?? lol. 😅
RE: Austin...
I actually think Austin is very charming as well...but not in an in-your-face, loud type of way. I feel like Austin is more stealthily charming (lol) in that you will be listening to him talk, and then all of a sudden you're like..."oh wait a second....I was not familiar with your game!" LOL! 😅
Austin has women AND men flustered by him in interviews chiiiiilllleee lol.... It's actually pretty funny lol. 😅 So I kinda think he's actually more charming than you give him credit for lol. He just seems very easy to talk to and like he doesn't have a "celebrity" persona at all. Like he's just a regular guy. So I def think he's very charming, he's just more low-key about it hahaha.
RE: Tom & Timmy...
Timmy and Tom are definitely charming in more obvious ways imo. Like I said before, I think there are various ways someone can be charming. 😅 Tom is a GREAT storyteller and has you hanging on to his evey word just by the way he tells a story, even if it's not all that interesting ROTFL! 🤣He just has a really good knack for that, and is very charismatic and charming. Timmy too! Timmy is charming also, but maybe in a slightly different way from Tom.
I think some people view "charming" as maybe "lively", "Funny" and "outgoing", but I actually view someone charming as someone who you just smile when you hear them speak, and you just feel like you could talk with that person and want to hang out with them and you'd feel comfortable with them. You know what I mean? Like, some people just give off that energy. It's not about being fake or phony, or putting on a persona. And you don't have to be outgoing or a comedian in order to be "charming" imo. I just think of it as someone who's pleasant to be around?
RE: Z....
I think her interviewing skills are just fine??🥴 See, this is what I mean by this hyper-focus on "rizz" and "charm", to the point where now, people just being "NORMAL" in interviews is now considered not all that great?? Like, huh???😵💫
I don't get it honestly. I really don't lol. Z is very charming and sweet in interviews imo! She's' just not loud and in your face, and that's okay!

Lil archival of a message i really liked on the STC Yahoo groups
ABOUT GRIMER WORMTONGUE
(Message ID_ 13800):
Nigel Kitchin: “Right. I'm going to rush this but I'll give you what I can remember. When I first started on Sonic Id imagined that I was expected to use Snively because he was amongst the reference that I had been given. Then Richard Burton (the editor at the time) pointed out that this character had been created for the TV series and we wouldn't have the rights to use him. So I simply came up with Grimer as an alternative. The name: At art college a friend of mine used to be very keen on science fiction and fantasy. One time he was telling me about this character Grima Wormtongue and what a great name that was. For some reason I was under the impression that he was from The Gormenghast Trilogy - probably because this book (as well as Lord Of The Rings) was part of the same conversation. So I just got mixed up. Weird thing is that a couple of years later I read the Lord Of The Rings so I must have come across the character again then. I suppose that when I came up with my Grimer it was many years later and it was the conversation with Pete that came to mind and I simply forgot about Grima being in Lord Of The Ring. The thing that I like about my Grimer is the business of him being pathologically loyal to Robotnik - he wasn't out to advance himself and had no personal ambition that we can make out. He lived to serve his master. We kind of got the same thing with Smithers and Mr Burns in The Simpsons - but I was first, I think. You also asked about the Drakons: When I wrote that first Sentinel story I had a pretty open ending with the Sentinel flying off into space to find his long lost masters. Richard Burton didn't like that and wanted a more dramatic finish - which I supplied. Then Richard went on holiday and Steve McManus stepped in for a couple of weeks. He didn't like the new end to this story (he didn't know it had been written to Richard's specification) and asked me to rewrite it somewhat. I have no idea what I changed for Steve or how the story was after the first rewrite - it was a long time ago... I didn't specifically have the Drakon's in mind when I wrote this but I did know that the Aquatic Ruin Zone (is that what it was called?) was an alien outpost of some kind and I thought that it would be fun to think about what had become of this alien race and what their interest in Mobius was.”
(Message ID_ 13801)
benm2k9:"Wow thanks a lot Nigel! Thats really helpful, and yeah it is Aquatic Ruin zone. Yes I can see what you mean about Grimer being fanatically loyal, I suppose you’ve got to be while Robotnik’s around or you might end up dead :D. Just one more thing, what actually IS he? A lizard? There’s been speculation by a few people on STC-O that he’s somewhat related to Proctor Spectle. Also I’m sure you’ve been asked about this before but the oxygen tanks on his back, whats with them?. sorry about all the questions but its really interesting to know :D”
(Message ID_ 13802)
Nigel Kitchin: "... It s not self-preservation with Grimer though - serving Robotnik is what he aspires to. Different to Snively as we shall see... ... I don t know.
These ‘Wow thanks a lot Nigel! Thats really helpful, and yeah it is Aquatic Ruin zone. Yes I can see what you mean about Grimer being fanatically loyal, I suppose you've got to be while Robotnik's around or you might end up dead :D’ It's not self-preservation with Grimer though - serving Robotnik is what he aspires to. Different to Snively as we shall see…
‘Just one more thing, what actually IS he? A lizard? There's been speculation by a few people on STC-O that he's somewhat related to Proctor Spectle. Also I'm sure you've been asked about this before but the oxygen tanks on his back, whats with them?’
I don't know. These things are the invention of Rich Elson. In fact the hole look of Grimer may be Rich's… Let me explain. all those early scripts I thought I had to use Snively so I probably (can't actually remember to be honest) wrote his personality based on the refs I had. The first time I wrote Grimer as Grimer was in the story featuring Knuckles probably. I don't remember how I came to describe Grimer into Rich and it's possible I wrote something and it's possible that I gave him something to work with over the phone but it's also possible that he just came up with the look himself after Richard Burton told him Snively was off-limits. It just so happens I came across my early Sonic scripts so here is the part of issue 21 that introduces Grimer (well, Snively).
Longer shot of the door to Robotnik's office. We can see that there is a secretary sitting at a desk outside. Once again she is a weird looking human. Snively has approached her desk. Snively is a character from the Sonic TV Series model sheets. He is Robotnik's assistant and has ambitions to power in a Uriah Heep kind of way.
Secretary: I WOULDN'T GO IN THERE IF I WERE YOU, SNIVELY. THE BOSS IS IN A REALLY UGLY MOOD TODAY.
Snively: I'M SURE IT WILL BE ALL RIGHT FOR ME TO ENTER, MY DEAR. I AM THE DOCTOR'S RIGHT HAND MAN, AFTER ALL....
Snively is now in the office but Robotnik has been replaced by a Robotnik-sized egg. Snively registers surprise but not too much, he's a cool scheming character this Snively. The egg is smoking slightly.
Snively: MASTER, IS THAT EGG YOU?
Snively: I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST SAID THAT….”
