Anees Bazmee exposes Triptii Dimri's startling part depth in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3; says, "She's going to shock everyone with her role and performance"
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will be released in theaters on November 1 and stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri. Director Anees Bazmee foreshadowed an unexpected twist, stating that Triptii's performance will astound spectators. He also mentioned her dynamic on-screen relationship with Kartik as a remarkable feature.
Speaking with News 18, Anees Bazmee revealed that, while the teaser suggests one route, Triptii Dimri's involvement is significantly more significant and central to the plot's twists. He revealed that other performers were first considered for the role, but hiring her proved to be a wise move.
The director also underlined that her involvement is more than just a few musical scenes; her character and performance would surprise fans by revealing unexpected nuances to her role. He stated, "She'll surprise everyone with her part and performance. They're bound to say, "Achcha, iss tarah hai unka role? "Humne, kabhi socha hi nahi tha."
Anees observed that, while talent and determination are important, success frequently requires a touch of luck as well. However, Triptii has a distinct set of characteristics. He stated that she is not only talented and hardworking, but also adds warmth and charisma to the set.
Anees quickly recognized Triptii Dimri’s natural compatibility with Kartik Aaryan after meeting her, making her an ideal choice for the role. He stated, “When Triptii came to my mind and then I met her, I realized that she’ll look really good with Kartik.”
He noted that Triptii was not the first pick because several considerations have to be addressed. However, she unexpectedly came to mind, causing him to believe she would be an excellent fit for the role.
Triptii's hiring came about as Anees brainstormed new faces who hadn't previously worked with Kartik, hoping to create a new dynamic to Bhool Bhulaiya 3. After witnessing the findings, the entire team agrees she was the best option. Her performance has convinced them that no one else could have offered the same energy, and her on-screen presence is both startling and captivating.
Anees also praised Triptii's performance in Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor, stating that her growing popularity indicates years of constant growth and dedication. He noticed that her career was not about overnight stardom; rather, her achievement is the result of hard labor across several projects. Over the last seven to eight years, she has consistently provided noteworthy performances in films such as Bulbbul and Qala, solidifying her reputation in the business.

I watched Across the Spiderverse last night and to say it’s the most visually stunning film I’ve ever seen in my life (and it’s not even close) is an understatement. But not only is it gorgeous and innovative, it serves every aspect of the story and music. Just like the first, it’s a cohesive amalgam of every artist who worked on it - animation, music, story, everything. and the themes??? The complex themes and the sheer number of foils in this film?? It more than lives up to the first movie, surpasses it in many aspects. I cannot get this film out of my head I need to rewatch it immediately
#I’m going to.#ARGDJFNFKMGG#I LOVE ALL OF THEM#how the hell did they follow-up a perfect movie#this film is boundary breaking#please go see it in a big cinema as soon as you can#bring tissues#I’m going to stew in my emotions#across the spiderverse#jp musings

As a rule, i generally separate the actors from the characters but your posts regarding the salaar interview with rajamouli had me so intrigued that i watched it!!!
I was dead when Prabhas was waxing poetic about how great a director Prithvi is to SS fucking Rajamouli and Prashanth i created KGF Neel. Like those 2 are THE most respected directors you could find in India rn and Prabhas is saying to THESE 2 LEGENDS that my buddy here, the director of Lucifer and Bro Daddy is awesome and he rocks 😂😂
Prabhas brought up the fact that Prithvi is a director like twice in this interview lol and yes I think Prabhas really was impressed with Prithvi work in Lucifer and I have watched the movie myself before even knowing who Prithviraj was and I was also amazed by the movie, (I personally watched it for Mohanlal lol) and the movie genuinely feel like it was made by a seasoned director instead of a directorial debut! and I didn’t even know that malayalam industry wasn’t really favored with action genre but Prithviraj made it seemed like they have been doing it like the rest of indian cinema. No wonder Prabhas didn’t want Prithviraj to discredit his achievement as a director because Lucifer really broke all the malayalam movie industry record when it came out, and it was his first time directing! So he deserved to be reminded and praised alongside the living legends like Rajamouli and Prashanth themselves.
It’s so funny because the entire interaction was just like “How dare prithviraj disrespect prithviraj in a presence of Prithviraj best defender, Prabhas himself😂 “
Prabhas is really the kind of dude who didn’t feel threatened by your success but he would be there alongside you to cheer you up on your achievements! He’s so goofy lol because these were like the small glimpse of what he actually keeps praising Prithvi about in this interview! And there were so many more! Prabhas is so generous with his praises! He will make sure you know your own value and will be there to remind you if you even slightly doubt yourself 😂 he is a good sport for sure.
(Do you know that Prithvi gave credit to Prabhas in his recent release movie “the goat life” just to thank him in the credit roll lol even though prabhas wasn’t really involved in the movie but he did help launch the first poster I think and perhaps gave all the support to prithvi behind the scene as a friend that we know nothing about because this movie really took so much toll on Prithvi for so many years that he almost decline the role as Varadha because of so many issues such as scheduling conflicts)
.
.
(A little trivia how I come to watch Lucifer that no one asked for 😂 so I was obsessed with RRR like truly obsessed to the point of insanity so I start watching all other Tarak and Charan movies and one of Tarak movie is Janatha garage and Tarak was in that movie with mohanlal so this is how I got to know who mohanlal is! I was instantly falling in love with this man lol so I try to watch more of his recent works and one it is Lucifer! And I was also hooked by that movie! Prithviraj was there but I don’t even remember him that much 🤣 I was so busy just focusing my eyes on Mohanlal and fast forward 2024 now I finally know who Prithviraj is thanks to Salaar! I watched Salaar because of Prabhas of course I also know him because of RRR and I want to watch more of Rajamouli that’s how I end up with Baahubali 1&2 and Chatrapathi 🤣)
#anon#salaar#prabhas#prithviraj sukumaran#rrr#malayalam industry#these two are such good friends#I will post soon when prithvi said he didn’t want to ask anything to prabhas because prabhas can’t say no to him#varadeva#ss rajamouli#mohanlal#south indian cinema#prashanth neel

[Image description: A digital painting based on the film Duel. It depicts the main characters' cars, a tanker truck and a red sedan, in a collision. The truck is pushing into the side of the sedan, which crumples as they meet. There's an explosion creeping out from between them, mainly comprised of smoke but with a flash of orange fire at the front of the sedan. The collision takes place on a drop on the hillside, which is brown and rocky. The piece is warm-toned and comprised of yellows, blues, and greens, except for the orange and red tones of the fire and the sedan. There's a lot of texture in the piece.]

GOD that bench scene in barbie, where she allows herself to really cry for the first time, and when she opens her eyes it’s like seeing the world anew, and there are children playing, and friends talking, and a man with his head in his hands, and it’s her first ever glimpse of the complexity of the human condition
and beside her is an old woman, whose age means she must be someone who has lived these moments over and over, and barbie, someone who is convinced that her complexity makes her ugly, looks at this woman and sees how her age has etched wrinkles on her face as proof of her beauty
barbie tells her she is beautiful, and she replies that she knows, because she understands that she has allowed herself to be human
#that’s cinema baby#okay last textpost for now#just need to put some thoughts into words#do expect fanart soon though#barbie#barbie movie#barbie spoilers#idlypost#idlychat

Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964)
"Miriam? He really... isn't here, is he? Just now, I thought I heard... sometimes at night, when I wake up, it seems as if he really is here. Don't turn on the light. It's not real when it's light. It's only real when it's dark - dark and still."
#hush...hush sweet charlotte#hush...hush‚ sweet charlotte#robert aldrich#1964#american cinema#lukas heller#henry farrell#bette davis#olivia de havilland#joseph cotten#agnes moorehead#cecil kellaway#victor buono#mary astor#wesley addy#william campbell#bruce dern#george kennedy#frank ferguson#frank de vol#Aldrich's follow up to Baby Jane reunited him with star Davis (and initially Crawford‚ until she left the project under a cloud; she can#just about be glimpsed in one of the long shots of cousin Miriam arriving at the house by taxi) and even provides a cameo for Baby Jane co#star Buono. the rest of his cast is also notably starry: de Havilland‚ Cotten‚ Moorehead‚ even a genuine cinematic legend like Astor not to#mention a pre fame Dern and Kennedy. sadly all that increased star power doesn't translate to a film even better than its predecessor#this is solid‚ a strong and sweaty gothic grotesquerie‚ but it's a little flabby and nowhere near as sharp or as honed as Baby Jane was#Davis often goes very large and brushes caricature more than once with her faded Southern belle but to give her her dues there are other#moments of true heartbreaking beauty in her performance. de Havilland is also very strong altho maybe tips her hat a little soon in#revealing the true personality lingering beneath the surface of her mysterious outsider. Aldrich is as strong as ever helming a killer#fantasy sequence... tbh the more i think about it the kinder my memory of this becomes. it has just one main flaw and that's that it isn't#Baby Jane. but then what is? Aldrich never quite hit those heights again (tho he did some p great work) and this is a commendable try

What is most remarkable about Only The Brave is Kokkinos’ refusal to paint the world of her adolescent protagonists through a nostalgic frame. As Lisa French asserts, Only The Brave lacks the romanticism of many coming-of-age films, instead providing a “rare and dark social realist insight into being young, lesbian and Greek.” Kokkinos replaces the nostalgia of the coming-of-age film with menace, drawing attention to the instability and danger of adolescence by ruminating on fires and the girls who light them.
